I come here from Switzerland and always eat here. The food is always delicious, and you can always make special requests. The service is absolutely top-notch. Excellent staff and owner. We always enjoy coming here and make friends who are just as happy afterwards.

Wish we had read the reviews of this place. The vegetarian options we had selected were both closed (on a Sunday!) so we were stuck with Viale. Pizza was ordinary, dominoes is better - no herbs in the tomato sauce and very little veggies - peppers were cut in chunks. Broccoli was steamed! The waiter was civil but not pleasant. Regretted having to tip him at all.Take your money elsewhere. Why spend our money on bad food and service?! Never again!

We spontaneously stopped in for a drink. Our first impression was actually positive, thanks to the clean interior and attractive decor. Unfortunately, this quickly changed: The dining room had a very strong, unpleasant scent of air freshener. The women's restroom also didn't smell clean. The service was disorganized and seemed irritated; the server didn't even make eye contact – this didn't leave a professional impression. The espresso was really good, but the tea was just plain tea bags. The music was unpleasant and repetitive, which further spoiled our experience. Overall, unfortunately, it's not a place we would visit again.

We reserved a table at Viale for an important dinner. In the heart of the government district, we enjoyed delicious, high-quality food at reasonable prices. The staff was cheerful, and we felt very well treated. Nothing was forgotten, delayed, or mixed up. The delicious pizza and truffle pasta made our evening perfect. Of course, antipasti and dessert were a must; there was nothing to complain about here either! Thank you very much, and we'd be happy to come back!

The food wasn't bad😋 and the service was incredibly friendly.😊 A great restaurant. The only complaint I have is that the tables weren't completely clean; there were a few crumbs left on them, probably from bread.

Don't let the negative comments put you off. We had a wonderful meal in a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere. Quiet music in the background and service that knows its job. Friendly and courteous. We'll be back!

It's definitely worth a visit. Since we were the only ones in the restaurant, a staff member gave us the remote control for a large TV, so we could watch TV while we ate. It was great.

Very friendly staff. They also cater to children, even though the place isn't designed for them. They make especially small portions of their food for children. Very quick and delicious. We ate around 5 p.m., with three adults and two children.

Very disappointing experience. We were clearly treated differently just for being young. Other tables received ashtrays — we didn’t. When I asked to use the bathroom, the waiter rudely said we hadn’t ordered anything (which wasn’t true), and only allowed it after I insisted we were already consuming. The waiter was disrespectful and dismissive throughout the whole visit. At one point, they even claimed we hadn’t ordered at all. It felt like we weren’t welcome just because of our age. Totally unacceptable attitude and poor service. Would not recommend.

Terrible experience, a lot of xenophophy experience feeling in this Restaurant. My Boyfriend asked Like 3 Times in the open area for a Ash tray 3 Times answered pretty Rüde. He Had no choice but to Put the ashes on the Plate.. the waitress gets pretty angry. 15 min later I Go to to así where Is the toilet even though we ordered at the place. The Bartender told me there's no toilet Here... I try yo explain him, we are Here.. and out of the Blue.. He respond as like ... Sorry was a joke!! Like what totally rude, totally unprofessional

The lasagna was sour and completely oversalted, the panna cotta was cut and presented with absolute care, it was warm at room temperature and had no flavor. Even half price would be too expensive. Stay away.

We were there with a tour group, and they served the standard lasagna. It tasted too salty and was definitely reheated. The staff, however, was friendly.

Italian restaurant, very close to the Brandenburg Gate. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. I would ask one of the waiters, who doesn't have to sing the songs playing in the background. Otherwise, everything was fine, and the service was good.

I've been to a lot of Italian restaurants, but this was by far the worst I've ever experienced! The pizza wasn't even close to being cooked. Inedible! When the bill came, I was speechless... there were two double Ramazotti pizzas on the bill for a whopping €26!!! Unbelievable... when I pointed out that this was far too expensive, the boss came over and was very rude. He slammed the table and said, "Here comes the celebrity..." I can't even begin to imagine what that would be like, based on the ambiance and taste. Never again!

Unfriendly staff. Ordered three beers for €18 to use the restroom. Bonus worked for others, but while we were there. Cheeky!!!

An absolute recommendation!!! We ate at Viale dei Tigli on our last day because we were put off by the Google reviews... It turns out you just can't believe the reviews! We had a wonderful evening throughout! The service was excellent, friendly, and unobtrusive, yet always there to help! The ambiance was typically Italian, upscale and elegant. Clean and with a lovely, slightly classy flair. The food – anyone who appreciates Italian food will have a great experience here. The kitchen knows its stuff and can even accommodate special requests excellently! We will definitely visit this restaurant again in the future, on our next visits to Berlin!

I was visiting Berlin for some work and on my way to the airport. I was so (soo) hungry so I randomly entered this Italian restaurant for a random quick meal. Oh boy! Very good food. Great service. Attentive waiters! Bless their heart so much and I wish them the best! I’m typing this review while still seated at the restaurant. That’s how much I am thankful for this meal. Thank you. 🫶🏾

Worst service experience of my life. The food was very mediocre, but the worst part was that the waiter tried to cheat me on my change twice - he only wanted to give me half! Only when I complained clearly did I receive the correct amount. Of course, paying by card was “not possible” and I didn’t get a receipt either. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately, I had the experience of going to this establishment with my wife on December 24, 2024. The cuisine has nothing in common with the restaurant, ordinary cheap “fast food” at restaurant prices. The soup contains artificial broth, Salami pizza is 4 pieces of ham and disgusting dough, Lasagna tomato paste and dough, complete unsanitary conditions everywhere and a dirty toilet without hygiene products.. In a word “horror”. Rude and boorish staff. A disgrace to Italian cuisine!

The food was delicious, and the portions were enormous! We couldn’t finish all of it. The prices are incredibly affordable compared to what you get. We had Carbonara (€15.50), Lasagna (€16), Ravioli (€15.50), and Tomato Soup (€8.50). Everything was excellent, and we were all very satisfied. They also served every guest bruschetta with tomato on the house, which was a lovely touch. The atmosphere was pleasant and clean—not overly fancy, but completely fine. The soft Italian music added to the experience. We really enjoyed the meal and everything overall. Highly recommended!

Pire restaurant Italien de ma vie ! Étant un grand passionné de bonne cuisine je me suis dirigé vers ce restaurant qui depuis l’extérieur paraissait vraiment bien mais une fois les plats servis c’était pas dutout ça. On aurait dit que les pâtes sortaient tout droit d’un service qu’il y a dans les avions. Ma femme a prit une pizza et a se demander si elle était vraiment faite maison ou bien une pizza congelée. Je n’ose presque pas parler du vin. Il n’y avait que 2 vin rouge à choix et le merlot était infect, comme du vinaigre.

A delightful find in Berlin near the Brandenburg Gate. Clean and welcoming atmosphere with friendly service. All 4 pasta dishes we ordered were delicious and well made (including housemade pesto noodles, arrabiata, alio olio and gnocchi). I’d recommend this as a destination or to any passers by!

Good Italian restaurant near the British Embassy and Brandenburg Gate in Berlin.

Este es un buen restaurante con un montón de asientos en el interior. Es un restaurante italiano, pero extrañamente carece de cualquier tipo de calidez o ambiente italiano (no mucho ambiente en absoluto). Un miembro del personal muy amable nos recibió en la puerta, hablaba inglés. Llegamos sin reserva a las 6 : 45 pm y explicó que necesitábamos cenar rápido porque íbamos a asistir a la ópera a las 7 : 30 . Estábamos sentados inmediatamente. Las bebidas (pint grigio) llegaron rápidamente, y nuestra comida llegó a las 7 : 00 ( 2 porciones muy grandes de espagueti boloñesa que estaba al dente y era delicioso) . Pagamos y estuvimos fuera del restaurante a las 7 : 10 . Lo que el restaurante carecía de encanto y ambiente sin duda lo compensó en el servicio. Pedimos una botella de agua con gas, 0. 5 lt de vino, 2 x espagueti boloñesa que cuesta 50 . 50 euros, que pensamos que era bastante barato para Berlín. Si quieres un buen pienso por un precio razonable y no estás preocupado por la ‘atmósfera’ entonces recomendaría este lugar. Comeríamos aquí de nuevo.

We simply weren't served and left after 30 minutes without drinking or eating.

Food was sufficient to poor, the older waiter was extremely unfriendly and annoyed. I have never encountered this type of incompetence anywhere. Card payment only from €20 (why?), unfriendly service, average food and long waiting times for ordering and paying. In short: this is obviously all about money. Absolutely not recommended.

The waiters were extremely rude. Prices were calculated from the top of their heads. Staff didn't warn that there is a minimal amount for card payments. The Tiramisu tasted terrible.

Not to be recommended. Everything is overcooked. Look at the picture of what used to be carrots, beans and potatoes. I did eat the dorade dish, which was also overcooked. According to the menu it would be on a bed on spinach, but it ended up on top of some rocket. Just go elsewhere.

We passed it on the way back from the CSD and spontaneously went in because it looked very inviting. We were greeted warmly and were able to choose a spot. Unfortunately the food was very poor and completely overpriced. I had the shrimp pizza. There were 6 shrimps on this (actually just) pizza margarita. The whole thing for 18 euros. I expected something more... My husband had the tagliatelle with salmon. He only found a few crumbs of salmon in his sauce, which unfortunately were anything but tasty. The food was there in less than 10 minutes, which doesn't necessarily speak for quality or freshness. Other people probably had the same idea as us and wanted to visit the restaurant on the way back. At some point all the seats in the outside area were occupied, which caused the waiter to repeatedly slam the large glass door of the porch loudly and lock it so that no one could come in. From then on the visit was very unpleasant because of the passive aggressive mood of the waiter.
