War jetzt 2 mal da. Das Essen war beide Male sehr lecker. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Werde da mit Sicherheit wieder Essen gehen.

Alles super hier, das Essen, das Team, das Ambiente.waren jetzt schon öfter hier und bestimmt nicht das letzte mal.

Also, anders als es der Name erwarten lässt, gibt es hier nicht nur Pommes Rotweiss, sondern spitzen Gerichte hervorragend zubereitet. Der Service ist super nett und auch das Ambiente ansprechend . Dieses Restaurant kann man bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen. Klasse.

Waren heute wegen Fußball da und haben nach dem Spiel im Restaurant gegessen. Der Service top, das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen groß. Nächste Saison kommen wir wieder wenn es heißt Hildesheim gegen unseren LSK 😊 Grüße, die Lüneburger Fans😊

Das Essen war top und der Service sehr freundlich. Mit etwas lauteren Fußballfans sollte man allerdings rechnen.

Dank meiner Kollegin waren mein Sohn und ich heute zum ersten Mal hier – und wir sind begeistert! 🤩 Das Schnitzel war sensationell: dünn, kross und super zart. Die Pommes perfekt, die Soße top und auch der Salat frisch und richtig lecker. Der Service war schnell, aufmerksam und sehr freundlich – man fühlt sich hier einfach rundum wohl. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Klare 5 Sterne! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Schöne Einrichtung, sehr nette Bedienung und vor allem gutes und nicht zu teures Essen (eher deutsch, gut bürgerlich, aber mit neuen Ideen). Komme gern wieder.

Sehr sehr leckeres Essen. Hähnchengeschnetzeltes und Schnitzel waren sehr gut. Personal super freundlich und aufmerksam.

Richtig überrascht: kein olles Vereinsheim. Richtig frisch und modern. Bargeldlos zahlen gar kein Problem. Preise und Speisen gingen voll ok und der Service war sehr freundlich und auf zack. Trotz großer Gruppe kein langes Warten. Sogar auf Extrawünsche bei den Speisen wurde eingegangen. Gibt sogar vegetarische Schnitzel.

Grünkohl satt, sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Personal war sehr freundlich.

Mega Lecker und das beste normale Preise und das für eine Top Qualität

Wir waren dort zum Braunkohlessen und es war so lecker zubereitet und per Tellergericht, nett angerichtet! Die Portion war total ausreichend und wir kommen bestimmt wieder! Das Personal war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und aufgeschlossen, das es Spaß gemacht hat, etwas zu bestellen! Top !!! Jetzt beim 2.mal war wieder alles Top ! Schnitzel super, knusprig und eine perfekte Stärke ! Sehr lecker… Ich habe noch nie frittierten Ruccola gegessen, der war der Knaller auf dem sehr leckeren Salat ! Die Pommes perfekt !!! Es gibt überhaupt nichts zu meckern und daher sind wir bald wieder da !!!

Waren zum Geburtstag mit 10 Personen hier essen. Hatten reserviert, weil für Samstag Abend war alles voll. Sehr gemütliches Restaurant und hervorragender Service der Kellner. Auch war von jedem das Essen vortrefflich gelungen, mein Kompliment an die Küche 🤌 Wirklich gutes Restaurant kann ich jedem sehr empfehlen 😉

Wir haben bei dem VFV einen Raum für eine Trauerfeier gemietet für 30 Personen, die Anfrage, Absprache erfolgte nur über E-Mail Kontakt da die Vermieter noch im Urlaub waren was aber absolut gar kein Problem darstellte, ich bekam nach meiner Anfrage sofort eine schnelle sehr freundliche Rückmeldung. Am Tag der Trauerfeier wurde meine Familie und ich so herzlich empfangen, die Tischdeko, das Essen ( Kuchen und Schnittchen) das komplette Ambiente war ein absoluter Traum. Ich kann mich absolut gar nicht beschweren, das Personal wahnsinnig freundlich alles war perfekt. Liebes Team vom VFV, ich möchte mich nochmal im Namen meiner Familie ganz herzlich bei ihnen bedanken, sie haben das ganze sehr sehr schön gemacht und uns für einen Moment den Schmerz vergessen lassen. Bitte machen sie weiter so, diese Freundlichkeit und Dee Service bei ihnen ist was ganz besonderes. Dankeschön 🙏

Wir hatten hier mal wieder unsere Weihnachtsfeier und es war wieder alles top. Nächstes Jahr ist auch schon gebucht. Danke für den schönen Abend.

Tolles (gut bürgerlich aber der Koch kann echt gut kochen) Essen... genialer Service... lustiger junger Kellner Jederzeit wieder... Wirklich eine Überraschung hatte nicht gedacht das in einem "vereinsheim" sich so was tolles versteckt

It could have been a really lovely evening. Five of us were at the VfV Sportpark today. The reservation was made at the beginning of September, and it was on the list, but by the time we arrived (on time), it had already been crossed off, and a sociable group of ladies had made themselves comfortable. How something like that happens is a mystery to me, especially since the name of the person making the reservation is quite rare. Oops, what now? The restaurant is fully booked. We were then seated at a table that was already tight for four people, with a fifth chair at the head, directly in a doorway that was then blocked. Later, we were allowed to move to another table, just as small, but the fifth person was no longer in the way. The food itself was remarkably good for all of us. I had cream of corn soup and tongue ragout, and we'd order both again immediately. The service was attentive, and the wait times were short, even though the restaurant was full. Without the mishap at the beginning and the ignoring of it, it would have been an all-around lovely evening.

We travel a lot in our motorhome and often go out to eat in all regions. We've definitely enjoyed our stay here for a long time. The food was excellent and the service was very friendly. If we're ever in the area again, even if we make a detour, we'll definitely stop by again. So keep up the good work like we did the day we were with you.

The food was delicious and plentiful. The service, in particular, was exceptionally good. Lennart greeted me very warmly, was attentive, and provided excellent service. You hardly find anything like it these days. I'm thrilled and would love to come back.

We were there on August 15, 2025, with six people. Thank goodness we had a reservation. I really enjoyed it. The food was super delicious and arrived quickly. And above all, the service was very good. That's unfortunately very rare these days. We'll be back :-). If they could also offer a vegetarian version of the currywurst, I would be delighted!

Unfortunately, the occasion was a sad one—it was a funeral feast. But that could easily be held there. The setting was attractive. The service was very good.

Highly recommended restaurant! We were here with a group of seven and ordered various schnitzel variations. Everything was consistently well cooked, and the sauces were delicious and very tasty. The service was friendly and attentive, the prices are reasonable, and the value for money is very good. We definitely recommend the restaurant and would gladly return!

Visiting from Hesse, we enjoyed a delicious meal thanks to a recommendation from "Brown" (a local). Pork fillet, baked with chanterelle mushrooms, croquettes, and salad. It was sooo delicious; the fillet, despite being baked, was pink, the chanterelles were perfectly trimmed, and the sauce was divine. A 10 out of 10! The spicy stalk and the schnitzel with sambal hollandaise were also very, very tasty. We'll definitely be back next time.

Four of us ate here today. The food was very good, freshly prepared, and served quickly. The young waiters were very friendly and really made a point of serving us. I recommend making a reservation in advance, as the lovely beer garden can get very crowded when the weather is nice.

A sure bet for good food. Meat and vegetarian dishes are available. The service is friendly and courteous. There are separate rooms for club meetings. Because the restaurant is well attended due to its positive aspects, advance reservations are recommended.

Well, 5 stars for an athlete's home is quite an announcement. Of course the ambience can't do that. However, the ambitious medium-fine cuisine with a good price-performance ratio must be rewarded. Something like this is rare today and therefore full marks.

This restaurant is definitely an insider tip. Therefore a reservation is necessary. However, it is worth it. We ate there and were really impressed with the service, the salad and also the main course. There are large portions and good quality products. We will definitely come back and can warmly recommend this restaurant. We hope that everything stays well all around.

Reservation is essential as this restaurant in Hildesheim is an insider tip. There are daily specials, currently kale in the normal version or in the “full” version for €19.50. I had a "Holsteiner Schnitzel" with salad as a side dish... not a schnitzel from a bag, but from a regional butcher - you can taste the difference! Otherwise... attentive and friendly service, clean toilets and free parking in front of the door! Always my pleasure!!

The traditional roast goose for St. Martin's Day was really tasty! Super friendly service that also fulfilled special requests. Ambience fresh, nice decoration. Unfortunately very loud when it is full. Will happily eat there again.

Eine wirklich gute deutsche Küche, jedem zu empfehlen, wir waren schon mehrfach dort essen. Grosse Schnitzel, den ersten Spargel habe ich dort auch vor ca 3 Wochen gegessen, einfach sehr gut. Auch das Zanderfilet war sehr gut. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Das Lokal ist sehr gemuetlich eingerichtet.
