Italian restaurant with a personal touch from boss Magdalena, we ate very well, absolutely recommended. Recommended by friends and we are thrilled.

The food is really delicious, lovingly prepared, perfectly seasoned and the service is attentive and competent. We'll be back.

On the way home we looked for a nice restaurant to recharge and strengthen our “inner” batteries. We found this charging station in the Italian restaurant “Zur alten Papierfabrik”. We were spoiled with delicious culinary specialties. The owner's open and friendly interest in her guests rounded off the stay pleasantly. We later arrived home with new energy and a happy mood. Many thanks to the great team! We'd love to come back.

Today we went to the old paper factory for dinner for the first time. The welcome and service from one of the owner's sons was very warm, relaxed and friendly. We took a seat outside on the covered terrace. One of the recommendations was the spaghetti in parmesan with salmon and asparagus, which was also very tasty and had just the right amount of spiciness. The side salad and pizza also tasted very good. And we can also recommend the espresso. All in all we felt very comfortable and welcome. The quality of the food and the price-performance ratio are right here. We'd love to come back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It was my first time in the restaurant “Zur alten Papierfabrik” in Niefern and I was absolutely thrilled! This Italian restaurant offers super quality food that is freshly prepared. The chef understands his craft masterfully, which is reflected in both the taste and appearance of the dishes. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. Every dish I tried was a culinary masterpiece. From the starters to the desserts, everything was perfectly balanced and prepared to the highest standard. The ingredients are fresh and the preparation methods leave no doubt that they cook here with a lot of love and passion. I would particularly like to highlight the operator Magdalena, the boss of the house. She and her team are extremely warm restaurateurs who welcome every guest with charm and warmth. Magdalena attaches great importance to quality and ensures that all guests are served a great menu. I had the opportunity to chat with Magdalena and she told me how well the restaurant is booked for company parties, events and meetings. It's impressive to hear how diverse and in demand the restaurant is. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant and inviting, a wonderful mix between a clubhouse and the great ambience of an Italian restaurant. The service is attentive and friendly. It is a place where you feel completely comfortable and can enjoy Italian cuisine at its best. I can only warmly recommend “To the Old Paper Factory”. Anyone looking for authentic, first-class Italian food should definitely pay a visit. I will definitely come again!

Super tasty pulpo very tender and well seasoned

I've been there several times now. The pasta was absolutely delicious. The salad was great too. But my favorite is the pizza. One of the best in the region. Plus the warm service. I just feel comfortable there.

In short: a very nice evening with friends and great food! At Magdalena you will experience warm hospitality in an attractive ambience and with varied Italian cuisine. We had dishes from the daily menu with antipasti and salad! Everything freshly prepared and spicy. Absolutely delicious - we'll definitely be back! The restaurant is easily accessible by bike or car and parking spaces are also available at the adjacent sports field.

We were here for the first time today. The food and service were sensational. What was particularly nice was how the plates were arranged.

Delicious antipasti starter, then tried various pasta dishes. Everything was great and the pizza was baked perfectly. The portions are very decent, but it's not cheap.

I celebrated my birthday here with friends. At the beginning we were greeted with Prosecco and a great, decorated ambience. I also really liked the view of the Bellmer Arena! As a starter, the antipasti platter left nothing to be desired, very lavish and beautifully decorated! The main course was juicy Argentinian rib-eye steak. All pure enjoyment! And the vegetarian spaghetti in a parmesan loaf has made many a meat eater's mouth water 😉 Ms. Tobos and her well-rehearsed team made this great evening possible. They always fulfilled our every wish and organized this evening very well. Thank you so much for this unforgettable evening and I will be happy to come back!

Highly recommended. Owner, waitress, chef, all very nice, friendly, always smiling. We listen to the customers' wishes and if they want to combine something on the menu differently, that's no problem. The food has always been very tasty. I'm slowly becoming a regular customer 😄 Atmosphere is great, you feel like family.

Went there with my wife on Valentine's Day. Even though this restaurant was full to the brim, the food came to the table quickly with an excellent taste experience! The quality was truly breathtaking. Our new regular spot for special occasions as well as for just going out for a really good meal! Not only praise for the food but also for the friendly service! The taste of the food was ok to good. But: Waiting 2 hours for food is a disgrace. Only when I complained loudly and started causing trouble did something happen. To appease my anger, we got a free starter and dessert. We didn't ask if we wanted it, we just brought it. Nicely meant, but overall poorly done. We won't be coming back.

Wir hatten hier eines unser regelmäßigen Geachätsessen. Das Ambiente lädt auf Gespräche ein und das Essen super Schmackhaft! Für jeden der Abschalten möchte ist dieses Restaurant eine große Empfehlung.

Super Essen! War echt lecker und die Qualität super. Leider finde ich das Foto nichtmehr, denn wir waren vor 4 Tagen dort. Ambiente hat uns insbesondere gefallen und natürlich darf der Gruß an die super Bedienung nicht fehlen. Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder!

Waren zweimal dort, das zweite Mal gezwungenermaßen, da eine große Gruppe dort reserviert hatte. Ich verstehe die Bewertungen absolut nicht. Das Essen ist okay, aber nichts besonderes, der Service hat den Namen nicht verdient! Beim ersten Mal waren wir zu viert dort. Als erstes wurde ein Getränk nicht gebracht, erst auf Nachfrage, als das Essen schon da war, wurde das Getränk gebracht. Es wurde also beim liefern der Getränke nicht bemerkt, dass eine Person kein Getränk hat??? Dann wurde beim Essen die Hälfte vergessen. Bestellt waren ein Burger und Pommes (da diese nicht inbegriffen sind), geliefert wurde nur ein Burger... Dann waren wir in einer großen Gruppe dort, es wurde für eine Uhrzeit vorbestellt. Zum ersten gab es nur eine sehr eingeschränkte Speisekarte. Aber gut verständlich, damit man große Mengen schnell zubereiten kann. Denkt man! Das erste Essen wurde 30min nach der bestellten Zeit geliefert und das letzte wiederum 45min nach dem ersten, also 1:15h nach der angemeldeten Uhrzeit! Die ersten waren natürlich schon mit ihrem Essen lange fertig und kurz davor zu gehen... Wenn man schon vorbestellt, sollte alles zumindest in kürzerer Zeit zusammen kommen... Der Höhepunkt folgte dann an der Kasse, als von der Chefin gefragt wurde ob das Essen geschmeckt habe, worauf geantwortet wurde, dass das Fleisch trocken war. Die Antwort: "Ja da müsste mehr Sauce dran, wir nehmen nämlich das beste Fleisch dafür" Wenn man das doch weiß, warum macht man es nicht einfach? Nie wieder, nicht mal mehr gezwungenermaßen!

Alle Speisen auf höchstem Niveau und mit Liebe zubereitet. Aufmerksamer Service und sehr freundlich. Alle Speisen frisch zubereitet und schnell fertig. Preis Leistung sehr gut. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert

Wir sind aufgrund der guten Bewertungen hierher zum Essen und fanden sowohl das Essen als auch den Service eher durchschnittlich. Die Spaghetti waren fad gewürzt, bei den Käsespätzle wurde sicher kein (würziger) Bergkäse sondern billiger Reibekäse verwendet. Auch die Kinderportion Spätzle für 6,50 € ist eher teuer. Einen Kinderstuhl brachte uns ein aufmerksamer Stammgast.

Absoluter Geheimtipp in Niefern. Leckeres Essen und sehr freundlicher Service. Viel mehr als man von einer Vereinsgastätte erwarten kann. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Gestern waren wir zum Essen hier. Von der Suppe über den Salat bis zum Schnitzel war alles sehr gut, das Schnitzel war riesig. Das Getränkeangebot ist ordentlich und der Service schnell und unaufdringlich. Lediglich die Preise sind etwas höher als gewohnt, aber dafür ist die Qualität hervorragend.

Sehr leckeres Essen und ausgesprochen nette Inhaberfamilie. Wir waren eine große Gesellschaft und es hat allen geschmeckt.

Waren mir einer Gesellschaft mit 10 Personen dort, und haben alle ausgesprochen gut gegessen. Es gab vorab einen leckeren Gruß aus der Küche und hinterher für jeden einen Ramazzotti. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall bald wieder.

Ich war nun schon das 3. Mal hier. (1 x privat, 1 x mit meinen Angestellten und 1 x insgesamt 30 Personen mit unserem Geocaching-Stammtisch) Es war jedes Mal sehr gut, leider ist hier immer sehr leer, ich vermute, weil es sehr abgelegen und ein Vereinsheim ist. Alle, die nicht hier her kommen versäumen etwas, denn der neue Pächter (seit Dez. 2021) macht alles frisch und wirklich mit ganz viel Liebe. Der Service (alles Familie) sind sehr freundlich und es klappt auch alles. Ich persönlich hatte bei meinen Besuchen den Rostbraten, die vegetarische Gemüseplatte und einen großen gemischten Salat, alles war super lecker. Vor allem kann man die Desserts absolut empfehlen. Das Tiramisu und die 2 Panna Cottas waren einfach nur der Traum. Mein Mann und ich waren jedes Mal sehr zufrieden und werden auch weiter hier her kommen und können es nur jedem empfehlen.
