Very good food, very friendly staff Perfect value for money

Following an inspection conducted by the Food Inspection Authority (Ostalbkreis District Office) on May 21, 2025, the results were published on June 10, 2025. Please note: According to Section 40, Paragraph 1a of the Food and Feed Code (LFGB), this regulation expressly requires authorities to inform the public only if there is sufficient suspicion or evidence of a significant violation of hygiene or consumer protection regulations. FACTS / REASON FOR THE COMPLAINT "Placing on the market of unsafe/unfit food due to the risk of contamination caused by inadequate refrigeration of the food in the warehouse and at the sales counter (meat and vegetables). Chicken was stored in a refrigerator at +13.9°C and had already acquired a slightly greenish discoloration. A perishable odor was also detected. Meat skewers were stored in the refrigerated counter at a temperature of +12.6°C. Other ingredients (yogurt sauce, cheese, lettuce, etc.) were also stored in the sales area at a temperature of +22°C. The lettuce had a slightly brownish discoloration in places. In addition, other significant hygiene deficiencies existed: Old, dirty containers were used to store dürüm flatbreads and lahmacum. The beverage refrigerator was heavily soiled on the evaporators and old, dirty on the inside of the bars. This allowed mold spores to spread to the goods." NOTES ON REMEDY AND REMARKS "The business was closed immediately. A thorough cleaning and the disposal of unfit food were ordered. The business was able to reopen on May 26, 2025, after an acceptance inspection." I hope that those responsible have now thoroughly remedied the identified deficiencies and implemented permanent, effective hygiene and quality control measures.

Excellent Swabian dishes, especially the roast beef is a dream! We also like the salad buffet. There, you can put together your favorite salads, and here, too, the Swabian flagship dish, potato salad, is mastered with flying colors. We've been there several times now and have been extremely satisfied every time. The particularly friendly service is a definite plus. A definite recommendation.

A comfortable hotel with excellent cuisine. A few hooks in the bathroom are still missing.

The chicken was truly a highlight – super tender, perfectly seasoned, and simply delicious! You can tell someone cooks with love. The duck, on the other hand, was absolutely delicious – juicy, aromatic, and beautifully crispy – but unfortunately, the portion was way too small, almost like a small sample. A little more of it, and it would have been a dream! The service, however, was absolutely top-notch: super friendly, attentive, and with a really good mood – you immediately felt welcome. The atmosphere was also pleasantly relaxed, allowing you to have a relaxed conversation and simply enjoy yourself. I'll definitely give you another chance – next time you'll definitely get the fifth star!
