Verdener Wappen in Verden (Aller)

I've known this restaurant for decades. It used to be a butcher shop, then it expanded into a restaurant. Top-quality products, top-notch staff, excellent customer service, and very good value for money. It's always a pleasure to eat there. A cozy atmosphere. My hometown. This was written by the daughter of the father.

A lovely old Verden pub, a true institution. It used to be the place to be. Much of its former charm remains, especially in the cellar, even though renovations have replaced the dance floor with a bar. The pinball machine under the stairs is also gone, but the bowling alley works perfectly, and it's great fun to bowl with a small group of about 15 people on one of the two lanes. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable.

We celebrated a birthday with about 50 people. The preliminary discussions were always pleasant, and the email responses were prompt. The food was very good and delicious; no one complained. The drinks could have arrived a bit faster/more frequently; for a flat rate of over €40, it was a little infrequent. But everyone was friendly and pleasant. Good atmosphere, bright rooms. Unfortunately, there are very few parking spaces, but the parking lot at the nearby school is a good alternative, although it's about a 200-meter walk. And for those planning a party with a DJ, be warned: there's a noise limit due to the neighbors upstairs. Overall, highly recommended for smaller groups.

Good opportunity to meet with larger groups. The food was very broad for a schnitzel buffet, the salad selection could have been larger, but it was very good that the salads were offered separately from the dressing and they were very fresh!

We celebrated a wedding, great staff, very friendly. The food was very tasty except for the pork fillet. Unfortunately it was fried to death and therefore dry. Everything else was very great, especially the potato gratin.

War heute Abend im Verdener Wappen zum Essen es gab einen Strammen Max soll heißen Schinken und Eier auf Schwarzbrot auch voll Lecker 😋😃 es muss nicht immer Schnitzel sein

Das Essen (Rinderroulade, Rotkohl, Kartoffeln, Kroketten, Bratensauce, Bohnensalat) inkl. Nachtisch (rote Grütze mit Vannileeis) war wirklich seeehr lecker! Die Köchin wärmt hier nicht nur die Speisen auf, sondern versteht es, sehr geschmackvoll zu kochen :-)) Dazu hübsche freundliche Clubräume fürs Ambiente, ergonomische Stühle, freundliches Personal, alles zusammen sehr empfehlenswert. Auch mit den 4 Kegelbahnen, um die Kalorien wieder zu "verbrennen" ;-) 5 dicke Sterne von uns.

Von außen absolut unscheinbar, lädt das Verdener Wappen von innen einfach zum Bleiben ein. Es ist alles sehr schlicht gehalten, aber sauber und freundlich. Das Essen ist preiswert und immer von aller höchster Qualität. Egal ob Fischplatte, Braten oder nur Schnitzel mit Pommes, ich hatte hier noch nie etwas zu beanstanden. Die Damen sind sehr schnell und freundlich. Die Gläser bleiben hier nicht lange leer. Hier werde ich sicher noch sehr oft herkommen. Im hinteren Bereich gibt es auch einen großen Saal für Feiern. Im vorderen Bereich sind kleine Tische und der Tresen, also einfach für jeden was dabei.

Wir waren mit mehreren zum Frühstück dort. Hat allen sehr gut gefallen. Der Service war hervorragend.
