By far the best doner kebab in Leipzig, and the owners are exceptionally friendly. If you don't eat here, it's your own fault!

The doner kebab itself didn't blow me away taste-wise. It definitely tasted different from the other doner kebabs in the city, though. The drink selection is really good. Unfortunately, they only accept cash.

Absolutely fantastic. The sauces are definitely made fresh every day. They also generally offer grilled vegetables on the vegetarian döner, and all at a very reasonable price – even small things like the waste-saving packaging are a reason for me to keep coming back for more.

To be honest, I'm very disappointed with the taste of the kebab. After the very good reviews here, I was really excited. I should say, the meat and sauce were average, and overall, the taste didn't blow me away. Unfortunately, the fries weren't really great either...rather mushy and not very crispy. Really a shame. My favorite remains the Yaprak kebab at Istanbul Market. There's a world of difference between them.

This is truly state of the art! For me, definitely the best kebab shop anywhere. When you try a kebab here for the first time, it's something completely different. The meat isn't regular pressed beef like you often see elsewhere, but young bull meat. Combined with the sauce and vegetables, it's a symphony for the palate. Just don't eat there too often, because otherwise you'll get used to the high quality and every other kebab might not taste good. Unfortunately, I don't live in Dresden anymore. But whenever I come to Dresden, I shove a kebab down my throat at Venon. It's a must! I highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants to try a really, really good kebab!

In my opinion, this is the best kebab in Dresden. Not a classic kebab, but a tasty change. With fried onions, sweetcorn, roasted vegetables, and lime juice, it's an adventure. Both the meat and the bread are a total delight, and the thing is jam-packed to the rafters! Eating any other kebab after this won't be possible.

A really good doner kebab with nice crusty bread, fresh and grilled vegetables, your choice of sauces, and, of course, really good meat, and plenty of it. That's what a doner kebab should be, and the price is absolutely reasonable. The shop is clean, tidy, and hygiene is taken seriously. I'll definitely be back. Thank you, keep up the good work.

The kebab is a completely different concept than we know it. Very tasty meat as well as bread and sauces. The oven-roasted vegetables and fried onions in particular have a special taste. Unfortunately for me there was only meat on the top and it was gone after a few bites. There was also comparatively little meat. The kebabs were packaged very lovingly and with great detail. Aluminum foil was omitted.

I don't understand the good reviews at all. I waited around twenty minutes to even be able to place my order and that wasn't because it was particularly busy. You are not greeted with hello or good day, but with next. The preparation takes forever and the fried vegetables, because of which you pay half more for the kebab here than at the competition, are a tiny dab, the rest is the normal raw food. In the end, while the order was being packed, it should have just been put in a bag, it was put aside and something else was packed. In the end, a colleague put the kebab in the bag and slammed it on the counter without saying a word, no please, thank you, anything... The kebab was of course already cold after five minutes of walking back, and there was no napkin either. Only they will know what the bag is for. The only good thing is that it definitely tastes different than the competition, but it doesn't suit my taste at all, so I don't have to go through that again.

At €9.50 for a Dürum with cheese, I expected more in terms of taste, and the Dürum was supposed to be with roasted vegetables (according to the menu) but they put normal raw vegetables in. So for this price it's absolutely not worth it. You're really overestimating yourself when you charge such a price for it.

Was super disgusting. Asking for a Dürüm that's not even as big as my hand for €7.5 is pretty harsh. The sauces tasted like mint and he put whatever he wanted in them, even though it was clearly stated that no tomatoes should be added. He ignored me later and was annoyed the whole time. Conclusion: Never again and do not recommend anyone to spend their money there.

We were there for the first time and we were thrilled. Friendly staff and very good meat, not minced meat kebab but real layered meat which tastes very tasty. The bread and sauces are also really great. In terms of price, the kebab is completely ok for the quality. We'd love to come back, it's our best kebab so far.

The layered meat, which impresses not with its spices but with its quality and taste, comes from the young bull and can therefore not be found twice in Dresden. The kebab also impresses with its creativity. The combination of the three homemade and subtle sauces harmonizes perfectly with the meat and the perhaps initially unfamiliar ingredients, such as grilled vegetables, olives or fried onions. The price-performance ratio is excellent!

I was looking for kebab without minced meat in Dresden for a long time. Finally found it and tried it out today. And it tastes really great. Everything is clean and everything looks delicious. Very nice service. We'll definitely come back and spread the word.

One of the best kebabs I've had in Germany. Probably the second best. Meat is "layered meat", i.e. not minced meat or "rotisserie". Bread bag is baked until crispy. Roasted vegetables are wonderfully soft. Unfortunately I don't live in the area, otherwise I would have been here much more often. Good value for money.

Unfortunately, the roasted vegetables on the veggie kebab were only available in very homeopathic doses 😢 Otherwise there was mainly just a simple salad on it, but it was nice and crunchy and fresh and the bread was good too. The two sellers were very friendly! Overall, the store makes a well-kept impression 👌

For Dresden (and the surrounding area), the owner has played the kebab game and taken it to a completely different level. The frequently praised layered meat deserves the praise, and I really enjoyed it too. Very fresh vegetables, red cabbage dressed with lemon, additional roasted vegetables and fried onions - whether you need and want everything is up to you. But overall everything fits together really well, as the sauce doesn't overwhelm you with greasiness as is often the case, but instead, in my opinion, contains a high proportion of yoghurt, which brings a nice freshness in contrast to the mayo-heavy sauces. Actually, people say that it's better to avoid sauce when it comes to good layered meat, but it's not out of place here either. The flatbread is also very good, soft and fluffy on the inside, it was baked well on the outside and despite the fact that the kebab was richly topped, it didn't crack. So far I haven't come across a kebab in Dresden that has impressed me so much - of course there are many good shops in Dresden too, but Venon is definitely number 1 for me. Every day layered meat from the young bull, priced for a normal kebab of this quality at €6.50, everything is very fresh, I really like it when lemon and parsley are also used, friendly, very clean - please keep it up !! I could also imagine more branches...

Best doner in Dresden. The quality of their Chicken is definitely better than other doner shops. Price is also good. I would recommend the Doner bread with Nuggets OR the normal doner bread with chicken.

I'm glad to have finally found a kebab shop in Dresden that doesn't just sell the cheap pressed meat kebabs, but really layered meat. I bought a kebab box, which was quite tasty, but unfortunately the meat was also over-seasoned. I would like to try it again. It would be nice if card payments were also offered. Only cash is no longer appropriate. And placing fries under the meat and sauce doesn't make much sense. They just get soggy. Employee was very friendly

Steak kebab with layered meat! Unfortunately, we are now used to minced meat kebab skewers, but a real kebab skewer with 100% layered meat stands out from the crowd. The meat (veal) is well and strongly seasoned. Optionally there is also poultry or mixed. Homemade yoghurt-based sauces are delicious with this. I was impressed by the variety of salads - optionally with grilled vegetables, olives, corn, cucumbers, tomatoes, iceberg lettuce, cabbage and onions. With fried onions and parsley as decoration - you rarely see it, but it still adds the finishing touch. For this quality the price is more than fair. Highly Recommended! It was ordered to-go, but the store seemed clean and you would feel comfortable eating on site. Also nice: At To Go there is no aluminum or plastic packaging.

Really tasty. Yoghurt-based sauces and real meat instead of the usual breadcrumb-stretched minced meat. Unfortunately it's the only one in the whole city and at €6.50 for the kebab, it's sometimes priced lower than some of the others here that only sell the cheap stuff. Really good 👍

A few days ago I tried Venon for the first time and I was amazed by the quality! Their advertisement said they used real beef instead of minced beef, and that’s no joke. The kebab meat from Venon tasted several folds better than my local kebab joint. For people who are fed up with the highly processed kebab meat with loads of MSG, try this place and trust me, you won’t feel thirsty after eating a kebab anymore ( I am quite sensitive to MSG and it has always been a problem to me that I feel extremely thirsty after eating kebab in Germany). Overall, Venon serves good quality Kebab with reasonable price. I am sure that I will visit there again!

I drove to this shop from Radebeul specifically to eat this awesome kebab. Definitely worth it. Airy bread, layered meat, fried vegetables and salad, our own sauces that aren't too thin. Completely awesome!

I would almost see the shop as an insider tip. It's a bit hidden but absolutely recommended. In my opinion, the sliced ​​doner meat is unique in Dresden. Crisply fried and yet juicy and tastes much better than a standard minced meat skewer. The bread is super tasty, toasted crispy, yet fluffy and without tearing or getting soggy from the sauces. The sauces: herbs, garlic, hot - the holy trinity and ketchup with chili are not available here! Absolutely great! The attention to detail when filling is also rarely seen. No matter how full the shop is, every kebab is filled in layers with the same care - meat, then fresh vegetables, then more meat, then the super delicious roasted vegetables and more meat, then toppings that are also rare to find. Add sauce several times so that you have a little bit of everything in every bite. Top! The store is very clean and everything behind the counter looks great. It feels like everything has its place and great care is taken to ensure that it stays that way. I had my concerns about the paper packaging. But everything arrives safely at home, double wrapped - great idea! The prices are absolutely competitive, and with the attention to detail, tipping is a must! We would love to come back!

Very tasty kebab, the skewer is made of layered meat and you can taste the difference to a pressed meat kebab. Beautifully prepared with grilled vegetables too. The sauces were also very tasty.
