This cozy restaurant in the heart of Magdeburg has delighted me for the third time now. The service is super friendly, there's always a seat available, and the food is incredibly delicious. Another plus is that everything on the menu is vegan. So just sit down and enjoy without having to forgo anything. The menu offers a wide selection and dishes that are prepared with a lot of care and love. Would come back anytime Thank you :)

The visit was great! The selection for people who don't like spicy food or don't eat mushrooms isn't particularly extensive, but since I love spicy food, that wasn't a problem for me. The portion sizes were impressively large, and the food was delicious and fresh. I was particularly impressed by the large selection of vegan sushi. We'd definitely be back!

We were here for the first time today. The staff was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The ambiance was modern and tidy. The only thing that bothered us at the tables for two was the table legs, which you could feel between your legs. :/ The food was really delicious, so we'll be happy to come back. The only major downside is the fact that they only accept cash payments. We didn't see any notices about this important point. So, when we wanted to pay, I had to go back to Hassel to get cash. This should definitely be changed, then it'll get a 5th star. :)

All in all, a great restaurant, especially in terms of taste and service, absolutely recommended.

We were in Magdeburg for a week for work, first suggestion when searching for "vegan restaurant". After the first evening we went there every day for dinner. Absolutely delicious food, very presentable, huge portions for a very fair price. The atmosphere is very cozy and the waitresses are very polite and accommodating. Clear recommendation, I will come again! As a point of criticism I would definitely include the lack of the option to pay by card, and after the 5th evening the same music might be a bit boring - but who goes out to eat in the same restaurant every day of the week 😄

Insanely delicious food at an absolutely fair price and super friendly staff. I've been there several times now and eaten different things and everything was delicious. Great attention was also paid to my girlfriend's gluten intolerance.

The food is super delicious and it's great that there are more and more vegan restaurants in MD. Unfortunately, card payments are still not possible, which is absolutely incomprehensible in 2025. The cleanliness of the toilets decreases towards the evening.

Unfortunately, the sushi contains ingredients made from salmon and tuna and the cocktails use ingredients made from cream and milk. This disrupts the vegan concept a little and therefore has a bitter aftertaste. I really enjoyed the dishes, it was just a shame that the “homemade iced tea” tasted more like syrup. I will definitely come back, the udon noodles with tofu and soy sauce were super delicious. Unfortunately, my companion, who eats exclusively vegan, doesn't.

Great food, everything is vegan

I gave a positive review after my first visit, but I would like to expand on it. This restaurant is very close to "unbeatable". They have managed to maintain a stable price level. You can get a main course for 10 to a maximum of 15 € that will definitely taste good to very good and will also fill you up. There are also a lot of interesting “snacks” in the form of vegan sushi of all kinds, but I haven’t tried them yet. As far as drinks go, I would advise against iced tea but would highly recommend the avocado lassi. It really surprised me in a positive way. When eating, the focus is not on strange meat substitutes. It's simply Asian (I think Thai or Vietnamese) inspired food in which tofu occasionally appears or, the "craziest" so to speak, a "seaweed steak". Lots of bowls with hot and cold ingredients. I ate udon noodles here for the first time and immediately fell in love. The service is great, the waiters are friendly and you never wait too long. The ambience is pleasant, lots of wood, lots of plants, nice lighting. Big windows. There's really nothing wrong with it and I'll be going back often.

Food and price were great, but despite a reservation we couldn't get a table and had to wait almost an hour.

The menus need to be renewed. They are currently very damaged and have been supplemented with manuscripts. The allergens were also crossed out on two cards. 🤔

Very nicely decorated restaurant with a bar. Delicious food from Asian to sushi. Starters around 5 euros, main courses around 11 euros. The price/quantity of the food is very good. Since it seems to be popular, reservations are advisable. Payment in cash only.

Um, no EC card / Visa card payment possible. Since this is a restaurant and not a run-of-the-mill Asian snack bar, the whole thing smells strongly of tax evasion or money laundering. Food was below average for the price.

Very tasty food. But: The store only accepts cash. We only received a printed invoice upon request and the invoice number consisted of the current date and a consecutive number that had just reached "020" late in the evening and when the restaurant was full. Anyone who thinks of unfair dealings is a bad person! 🤭

My partner and I's favorite restaurant, we go here at least once, sometimes twice a month. The food tastes great, the delivery times are great, the prices are great, the portions are great, the service is great, the location is great. There's nothing to complain about per se, apart from the card payment issue, which is often mentioned in the reviews. At least you could also offer Paypal QR codes with a business account? :) And you should set up a website, if you need one, please contact me, I can offer it to you at low cost, and I'm also happy to offer service for service :)

Unfortunately not a vegan restaurant, as you would expect from the name. Drinks are offered that contain animal excrement, for which animals are locked up and milked against their will. Otherwise a great restaurant.

The atmosphere is super nice and the employees are all very friendly. We actually really like the food there too. However, I think it's a bit of a shame that at the front of the menu it says that all the ingredients are carefully selected. The restaurant's philosophy says that you should not exploit animals and then no emphasis was placed on this and they also offer cocktails with milk. Why? Then there is just one less cocktail on the menu. But for every ethical vegan this is really a thing. The coconut milk is no longer from Thailand. Requests were heard and implemented there, which I think is great. I'm very happy about that. Now all that's missing is removing the milk cocktails and then it would be five stars. ☺️

Full marks for not being able to pay by card is written right at the entrance. I don't understand other people's criticism here. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The next time I'm in Magdeburg, it will definitely be worth a visit again.

Vegan cuisine at the highest level, in terms of quality, taste and appearance. We drive 1.5 hours (each way) every few weeks to eat here. One of the best restaurants I know. As some fellow reviewers have already stated, meat lovers will also get their money's worth and fill up here. Insider tip: Only order the various starters (especially the tofu and sesame skewers), not a main course. So you can try a lot and get full. The two desserts are an absolute must! Fantastic!

Card payment is not possible. There is also no ATM nearby. When asked why this is the case, only excuses come up. It's simply absurd that you expect something like that from your customers... But food is good!

Really great food, great prices and decent portions. The nigiris were very cool, generously topped with (soy sauce?) rice. Gladly again!

This was our second time eating at “Vegan Living” and we were very impressed. The enthusiasm was also shared by our meat-eating family members. It started with the various starters that we ordered to taste together. These were lovingly arranged on 2 wooden boards so that everyone could eat everything. The main courses were changed to spicy, extra spicy or no spicy depending on your preference. To sharpen things up, we were given additional chili sauce on the table. The portion sizes were very generous. The taste of the dishes is well balanced and it's fun to taste other dishes too. The food is of excellent quality and freshness. Conclusion: Great food, great service, moderate prices. We'll be back soon.

It needs to be cleaned up and mopped more often. It is unfortunately very strange that many Asian shops, especially in Magdeburg, do not offer card payment.

I went for lunch during the week. Unfortunately the sushi was not fresh, but came from refrigeration. Consistency and texture were accordingly. My digestive organs struggled with this for the rest of the day. In this respect, unfortunately no recommendation despite the beautiful furnishings and nice staff.

Hidden away, you could say: an insider tip. The food is great. The vegetables taste the way they should taste and you can season them excellently here. Huge plus point: no stereotypical jingle music. Highly recommended.

Nice cozy location.Monday for lunch there were few guests - quiet with unobtrusive music in the background.Service had time for us and was great! Starters and main course were very good. The conclusion was a good espresso and, to our surprise, a dessert from the house. We will come back!

I can't really say much about the restaurant. I'm just surprised that card payments won't be possible in 2024. Especially since this restaurant is centrally located and in a tourist area. A pity. We then went to the Vietnamese restaurant nearby.

The staff are very friendly. The clean toilets are also positive. The table we were allowed to sit at was unfortunately slightly sticky, but okay.

Very nice vegan restaurant. Good and clear selection of dishes. I had the sushi platter for two with a friend. The selection and quantity was perfect and very tasty. There was also a small dry ice/side effect show. Drinks we had iced kiwi and strawberry tea, also very good, not too sweet. The service was very friendly. Price/performance absolutely justified.
