Great concept and in Magdeburg 👍Everything we tried was very tasty

Sensational food and very attentive staff. Even meat lovers like me won't really miss anything here. Absolute recommendation.

Food and price were great, but despite a reservation we couldn't get a table and had to wait almost an hour.

The menus need to be renewed. They are currently very damaged and have been supplemented with manuscripts. The allergens were also crossed out on two cards. 🤔

The food is really very tasty and the portions are very large for the price. The point is deducted because I don't like mushrooms and there were mushrooms in dishes everywhere, but my dish didn't have them on it, so I decided on the dish, but I had to find out that it had mushrooms. Would still come back to eat

Super delicious food at an unbeatable price with very friendly service. Although there were a lot of guests there, the volume wasn't loud at all and was very pleasant. We would love to come back!

Very nicely decorated restaurant with a bar. Delicious food from Asian to sushi. Starters around 5 euros, main courses around 11 euros. The price/quantity of the food is very good. Since it seems to be popular, reservations are advisable. Payment in cash only.

Very tasty food in a nice restaurant with nice staff!

Um, no EC card / Visa card payment possible. Since this is a restaurant and not a run-of-the-mill Asian snack bar, the whole thing smells strongly of tax evasion or money laundering. Food was below average for the price.

A place where you simply have to realize that when you go out for a vegan meal, you don't have to miss anything. Super tasty, nice atmosphere and super nice service!

Very tasty food. But: The store only accepts cash. We only received a printed invoice upon request and the invoice number consisted of the current date and a consecutive number that had just reached "020" late in the evening and when the restaurant was full. Anyone who thinks of unfair dealings is a bad person! 🤭

My partner and I's favorite restaurant, we go here at least once, sometimes twice a month. The food tastes great, the delivery times are great, the prices are great, the portions are great, the service is great, the location is great. There's nothing to complain about per se, apart from the card payment issue, which is often mentioned in the reviews. At least you could also offer Paypal QR codes with a business account? :) And you should set up a website, if you need one, please contact me, I can offer it to you at low cost, and I'm also happy to offer service for service :)

One of the best asian restaurants, I have been to. Food was very tasty, with big portions. Ambience is quite aesthetic and the service was very kind. Would come back here again and again!

The atmosphere is super nice and the employees are all very friendly. We actually really like the food there too. However, I think it's a bit of a shame that at the front of the menu it says that all the ingredients are carefully selected. The restaurant's philosophy says that you should not exploit animals and then no emphasis was placed on this and they also offer cocktails with milk. Why? Then there is just one less cocktail on the menu. But for every ethical vegan this is really a thing. The coconut milk is no longer from Thailand. Requests were heard and implemented there, which I think is great. I'm very happy about that. Now all that's missing is removing the milk cocktails and then it would be five stars. ☺️

Unfortunately not a vegan restaurant, as you would expect from the name. Drinks are offered that contain animal excrement, for which animals are locked up and milked against their will. Otherwise a great restaurant.

Thank you for existing! It's just too nice when, as a vegan, you don't have to search for long on the menu. Everything just fits here.

As a meat eater, tried something new. Absolute recommendation, totally delicious, nice service, great selection, nice atmosphere! No card payment possible, but it is clearly displayed several times. No problem for me

We (vegan + meat eater) were both absolutely thrilled! The eye eats with it (also at the next table) and it's a real pleasure for the palate

Full marks for not being able to pay by card is written right at the entrance. I don't understand other people's criticism here. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The next time I'm in Magdeburg, it will definitely be worth a visit again.

Vegan cuisine at the highest level, in terms of quality, taste and appearance. We drive 1.5 hours (each way) every few weeks to eat here. One of the best restaurants I know. As some fellow reviewers have already stated, meat lovers will also get their money's worth and fill up here. Insider tip: Only order the various starters (especially the tofu and sesame skewers), not a main course. So you can try a lot and get full. The two desserts are an absolute must! Fantastic!

Card payment is not possible. There is also no ATM nearby. When asked why this is the case, only excuses come up. It's simply absurd that you expect something like that from your customers... But food is good!

Really great food, great prices and decent portions. The nigiris were very cool, generously topped with (soy sauce?) rice. Gladly again!

This was our second time eating at “Vegan Living” and we were very impressed. The enthusiasm was also shared by our meat-eating family members. It started with the various starters that we ordered to taste together. These were lovingly arranged on 2 wooden boards so that everyone could eat everything. The main courses were changed to spicy, extra spicy or no spicy depending on your preference. To sharpen things up, we were given additional chili sauce on the table. The portion sizes were very generous. The taste of the dishes is well balanced and it's fun to taste other dishes too. The food is of excellent quality and freshness. Conclusion: Great food, great service, moderate prices. We'll be back soon.

Very tasty vegan food. Nice service and the price is very convincing given these large portions. The restaurant is very nice in the restaurant area. However, deduction for the sanitary area. It needs to be cleaned up and mopped more often. It is unfortunately very strange that many Asian shops, especially in Magdeburg, do not offer card payment.

We ate Vagan for the first time today and were totally surprised. The location service and price-performance ratio were also great. We'll definitely be back.

For me as a meat eater it was good. Food was tasty. Service was good, a plus point for the Thai whiskey. It's just a shame that there is no meat dish at all. Still thumbs up 👍

I went for lunch during the week. Unfortunately the sushi was not fresh, but came from refrigeration. Consistency and texture were accordingly. My digestive organs struggled with this for the rest of the day. In this respect, unfortunately no recommendation despite the beautiful furnishings and nice staff.

We ate here during a stopover in Magdeburg. The food was really great and the portions were more than enough. The price was also absolutely great. The visit was definitely worth it. Overall, a great and nicely decorated restaurant. On warm days you can also sit outside. We'll definitely be back.

Very tasty, completely vegan menu. Very nice service. We sat outside and unfortunately the surroundings weren't that appealing, on the one hand there was a construction site, on the other hand there was a parking lot and a street. However, the restaurant cannot do anything about this.

Hidden away, you could say: an insider tip. The food is great. The vegetables taste the way they should taste and you can season them excellently here. Huge plus point: no stereotypical jingle music. Highly recommended.

Really delicious food, very friendly and patient staff, great atmosphere (naturally designed), and at the end you get a fortune cookie 😊 I was there often with mom and they were always very motivated (even if it was almost closing time) and both food and drinks taste absolutely delicious. Nice cozy location.Monday for lunch there were few guests - quiet with unobtrusive music in the background.Service had time for us and was great! Starters and main course were very good. The conclusion was a good espresso and, to our surprise, a dessert from the house. We will come back!

The no carb noodles are good, the others a little less so. Very abundant and varied food. The tofu skewers are excellent.

I can't really say much about the restaurant. I'm just surprised that card payments won't be possible in 2024. Especially since this restaurant is centrally located and in a tourist area. A pity. We then went to the Vietnamese restaurant nearby.

Very nice restaurant with the possibility of sitting outside. The food is very tasty, you get large portions and will definitely fill you up. And for no exorbitant prices. The staff are very friendly. The clean toilets are also positive. The table we were allowed to sit at was unfortunately slightly sticky, but okay.

Very nice vegan restaurant. Good and clear selection of dishes. I had the sushi platter for two with a friend. The selection and quantity was perfect and very tasty. There was also a small dry ice/side effect show. Drinks we had iced kiwi and strawberry tea, also very good, not too sweet. The service was very friendly. Price/performance absolutely justified. Highly recommended for vegan food! Important: Only cash payment possible.

Best healthy Asian restaurant we've ever been to (and we live in Hamburg). Great vegan dishes without pointless additional products! Anyone who is not a vegan should find something here. Top service and not yet overcrowded (like in good restaurants in HH). Went back again 2 days later. There should be more restaurants like yours. Keep it up! Starter V9 is our favorite (HALF STEAMED, HALF FRIED GYOZA)

The 'Vegan Living' in Magdeburg is an excellent place to go for vegetarians/vegans. All dishes are freshly and tasty prepared. The staff is trained, friendly and the atmosphere is cozy.

Super nice service, we didn't have to wait long for our food, it looks super modern, the food was great! You should definitely order an appetizer. We loved the rice paper rolls. Unfortunately I have to say the sushi didn't have that much flavor, but it was still tasty and the rest was very convincing. So still a 10/10 The location is also so that you can take a nice walk along the Elbe :)

Because it is so excellent, cheap and good, the shop is well visited. Because the tables are close together, confidential conversations are not possible. But the food is sensational. For me the best vegan-friendly restaurant in Magdeburg. I tried a lot in Magdeburg and always ended up at Vegan Living. The sushi is absolutely amazing, even possible with vegan salmon. But the other dishes such as curries, pasta dishes and starters etc. are also really great. In addition, the staff is always really nice. Great recommendation!

A quiet street, practically no car noise, with a beautiful view of the lift bridge. The menu is very good, you should definitely try the steamed banana with sticky rice, definitely a tip. Very friendly and chic restaurant, I can only recommend it.

Vegan creative Asian dishes. Very tasty, large portion to fill you up. Service friendly and quick. Location right on the Elbe in the quiet Neubsu area, we had a nice sit outside.

Good location between Elbe and Hasselbachplatz, very friendly service and courteous treatment, good selection of delicious dishes, quick preparation of the food, very stylish Asian atmosphere, quite quiet despite many guests (sound-absorbing interior), no bike racks directly at the restaurant, but about 15 m distant towards the Elbe in sight

A great restaurant with excellent vegan dishes. I always eat the same thing (dish 27) but I've already eaten it with people I've eaten there with and it was very tasty. I can also highly recommend the Mago Lassi and the passion fruit lemonade. The ambience is really good. Beautiful interior with unfortunately only artificial plants but very worth seeing and pleasant. The staff is approachable, courteous and kind. The restaurant is also very child-friendly and offers an outdoor dining area. The prices are absolutely amazing. Really low prices for such excellent food. Card payment is not possible as of March 26, 2024. We really enjoy eating there and are always pleasantly surprised by the delicious and diverse offerings. :)
