Great food, we were very satisfied!

Great shop! :) Personally, I found it a bit cold (would a heated mirror or something similar be an option?), it could be more comfortable to sit in and the main courses were 'just' ok, but overall we were still very impressed. The appetizer platter is really awesome, service, ambience, uncomplicated ordering, timing - everything was great. My friend, who is a non-meat eater, also thought it was great and so we will be happy to come back.

The restaurant is easy to reach by tram or on foot, not far from the main train station, the cathedral and the city center. Bicycle parking is available directly on site. The ambience is very inviting, spacious, bright and warm. The many plants in the room and in the courtyard are a feast for the eyes! The menu is available online, saving you time, paper and the discomfort of how many fingers the menu may have already been through. The selection of food and drinks is versatile, contemporary and varied, containing numerous seasonal and regional products. Many sophisticated and not so well-known lemonades, teas, spirits and cocktails are on the drinks menu. No matter whether it's wraps, burgers, pasta or even a fried cauliflower - the food has always been extremely fresh, finely put together, generously portioned, beautifully presented and super tasty! The cakes, and if you're lucky, the cinnamon buns, are also very delicious. The service is very quick, friendly and always attentive. The prices are reasonable and totally justified with the great craftsmanship and attention to detail behind it. Without a doubt one of the most beautiful and high quality restaurants in Magdeburg, a must for vegans! Thank you to the lovely & dedicated team for all the lovely evenings in your restaurant! Also highly recommended to go/take away!

A really attractive, original little restaurant with delicious vegan cuisine that we discovered by chance while passing through. The service was personable and attentive. I had a seasonal soup as a starter, which tasted very good, as did the wrap I ordered as my main course. My husband was also very happy with his burger. Clear recommendation and gladly again!

Botanica is a very nice shop, but unreasonably expensive. Unfortunately, the high price does not do justice to the quality of the food. Visually beautifully presented, but unfortunately everything tastes below average. The main kitchen in the basement is struggling with mold. If the cake is not sold, the sprinkles are scraped off the cake after three days and new ones are put on top. Then it goes on sale again. The boss with her outrageous ego can be described as a narcissist. The word about your treatment of employees spreads throughout Magdeburg. A former chef there got fed up, quit and started working in the kitchen at a real restaurant on the Schleinufer. Ms. Gaidamacha, deeply offended, wrote to the new supervisor how bad and impossible her cook was. That says everything about the level of her leadership style and her botanica! All former employees also complain about the impossible conditions of this location and the owner. Unfortunately no recommendation and one of the worst restaurants in Magdeburg.

Disgusting food and strange people

We came here based on the previous positive reviews and unfortunately we can't agree with that at all - not to say that we were totally disappointed. The ambience was beautiful, but unfortunately that was it. Absolutely unpleasant (!!!): Menu is only available online via QR code. Anyone who comes without a cell phone has lost? Or gets the waiter’s cell phone. You can also order this way... (If we had known that, we wouldn't have started the one-hour walk and would have left the whole thing alone). We continued with the service, whose friendliness wasn't really authentic. Rather simply well practiced... The food took a long time to arrive and was mediocre. The raviolo is what it promises, ONE huge noodle thing with filling. Not much taste. The starter bread was burnt and some of the potatoes were not cooked properly. When asked how the food was, the answer was honest (that the raviolo didn't match the taste), they couldn't handle that. Apparently they only accept “Great” as an answer.. In the end we lost €70 and weren't particularly enthusiastic (the people in the environment were rather cold and withdrawn). It's a shame! There would be potential...

Beautiful restaurant with fantastic and creative people and enchanting food.

Loading full, rightly so!!! We were still allowed to stay, even without a reservation. Super nice team, but the food...... Such a taste explosion - never had before. A soup seasoned to perfection, very delicately and elaborately decorated, delicious! The bowl is awesome. Everything was specially prepared, the sauce was slightly spicy, everything was mega mega super. I'm only vegan, Botanica tops them all

I think it's stupid... That I still have to think about this restaurant after more than a year after I left Magdeburg... Best food, great drinks and a lovely team. I don't miss much, but I definitely miss this!

A beautiful restaurant with excellent food. The dishes are incredibly tasty and the service is first class. Even though the restaurant was actually closed, we were allowed to stay. The dynamic was very familial and I would come back at any time.

The food was great, prepared with a lot of love and extremely tasty. Not only delicious, but also really beautiful to look at. An enrichment for Magdeburg. Highly recommended. The ambience of the store is beautiful and something very special. The place literally exudes history and you can also sit outside in the small courtyard. The store is very nicely decorated and fits the concept perfectly. The male service employee with the glasses is also extremely competent and gives everyone very good advice. What I don't like so much is that the card is only available online. When I go to a restaurant, I don't want to have to use my phone. And if you choose a digital solution like this, it's because you regularly adjust the menu and visualize the food. Pictures of the dishes would also help to better estimate the size of the portions (e.g. the small and large potatoes). Unfortunately, in my opinion, this doesn't happen very often. I also think it's a shame that the food is already at a higher price level, considering that many dishes consist of burgers and wraps. I think there is still room for improvement, even if my standards are perhaps a bit too high. In my opinion, the homemade lemonades and tea are highly recommended. Otherwise, as described, the store is something very special and I can only recommend reserving online as the seats are, rightly, in high demand. You can also take food with you, which I think is very good.

Interesting and unusually tasty combination

Ich kannte es noch von vor zwei Jahren. Damals war ich begeistert, das Essen war lecker -der Service ebenso. Diesmal hatten wir reserviert und einen Geburtstagsgast dabei. Keine Kerze, kein nettes Wort, keine Nachfrage ob es geschmeckt hat. Es wurden auch benutzte Gläser und Teller trotz Nachbestellung nicht abgeholt, sodass wir es erst einmal nebenan auf den Tisch stellten. Das Essen an sich hat aber allen geschmeckt. Schade nur, dass mit den Gästen so gleichgültig umgegangen wird. Da wir fast die einzigen waren, lag es auch nicht am Zeitmangel.

I'm just SHOCKED...how good a vegan burger can be. I really like eating burgers and I'm relatively sensitive to them, but the burger here...is on a par with the best meat burger I've ever eaten. So really the food here is absolutely brilliant! The only criticism...the chair was really hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise everything is perfect.

I had one of their tasty vegetarian wraps. It was delightful 😊. It was full of unexpected flavors and was modernly priced. The menu is small with sandwiches as the other choice.

Highly Recommended! Great, calm atmosphere, beautifully decorated interior. There is a truly unique selection of (vegan) food and drink compositions that you won't find anywhere else, and the offering changes depending on the season. Even well-known ingredients are innovatively prepared and combined so that you have a really great taste experience. That definitely justifies the slightly more expensive prices. Menu can only be accessed digitally via QR code, unfortunately not entirely clear. Staff very helpful and happy to answer any questions - I would be happy to come back :)

The food was delicious, but the patty of the burger was just way too thick. You only have the patty in your mouth, we didn't taste any of the rest. The service was not attentive. Although you can order and reorder using a QR code, you spend longer on your smartphone. Of course you can also order analogue, but unfortunately we were ignored. We also tried to draw attention to ourselves. Only when we got up and went up to the lady to say that we would like something more to drink did we say “yes, yes, in a moment”. And when she left the restaurant she stood in front of the door while she was serving a table and blocked it. When we asked that we would like to come over - we were ignored, unfortunately she didn't move away. That's why we didn't get our tram. Please simply position the tables differently or serve them from the other side of the table. The chairs are quite comfortable (garden), even with cushions. Unfortunately we got a place where the table and chairs were crooked. It had more of a beer garden charm.

The atmosphere is very nice and the regional and vegan cuisine is definitely impressive. I'm also very happy that digitalization is very important here and you can order both the food bill and the waiter simply with a "click". BUT it is not a must and personal contact with the people there is still possible! The atmosphere is also great, but you should definitely book in advance as it gets very crowded at peak times due to its small size. The only drawback I had was that the portion size was "just" okay. But if you don't try to eat until you can't eat anymore, you'll get full, so you don't have to worry about starving! I wouldn't recommend it to vegans either, the food is really delicious and I was completely satisfied!

A small but cozy restaurant in the center of Magdeburg. The waitress who served me was very helpful and polite. The vegetarian/vegan food is as fresh as I have ever experienced. It's a place you like to go to with close friends or family because it creates a desire to talk. I've been here a few times and I'm always impressed by the creative and lovingly prepared creations. The food is certainly a little more expensive than elsewhere, but the quality definitely justifies it. 🌿 Absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to eat delicious vegan food in Magdeburg!

You just have to try it out. My tip for you: red cabbage soup - definitely try it.

It's a great restaurant experience. The menu changes with season and all the options have something interesting to offer. When I was there the service was friendly and excellent. The place inside is beautiful, full of plants and pretty decorations. There's not a lot of space and my seating situation wasn't ideal, but all the other things made up for that. I really recommend for a nice dinner date, or for anyone who appreciates great food in nice restaurants.

Ein wunderschöner Ort, klein und grün.

War über die Jahre hinweg öfter dort. Qualität hat m.M.n. abgenommen. Wenn man die Antworten der Inhaberin auf kritische Rezensionen liest kann man wirklich nur zu dem Schluss kommen dieses leider sehr schön eingerichtete Eta·b·lis·se·ment nicht wieder zu besuchen. Probieren sie es selber aus und bilden sie sich ihre Meinung. Ich komme jedenfalls nicht wieder!

Es war wieder ein kulinarisches Erlebnis. Hier stimmt einfach alles. Und ja, auch das Preisleistungsverhältnis. Na die Portionen könnten vielleicht etwas kleiner sein, es war so lecker, dass ich einfach meinen Nudelteller leer essen "musste" und nun bin ich wirklich überaus gut gesättigt ☺ Es ist alles selbst zubereitet, selbst das Brot. Da zahle ich sehr gerne auch etwas mehr. Man isst hier außerdem auch gemütlicher und in entspannterer Atmosphäre im Vergleich zu den großen Restaurantketten. Auch die Gästebetreuung ist unvergleichlich. Hier ist man noch mit Leib und Seele dabei. Einfach eine kleine Wohlfühloase. Ich stelle die mutige Behauptung auf, dass auch Fleischliebhaber hier einen hohen Vegi-Genuss erleben werden. Ich bin "nur" Teilzeit-Vegetarier, da sich meine Tochter für die vegetarische/vegane Ernährung entschieden hat. Wir lieben die Küche des Botanica beide gleichermaßen.

Das Lokal liegt zwischen dem Hauptbahnhof und dem Hasselbachplatz. Vor dem Lokal fährt die Tram. Wir sind auf Empfehlung in dem kleinen, aber sehr gemütlichen Lokal gewesen. Vorab reservieren ist empfehlenswert. Das Lokal ist gut besucht. Gute Portionen zu fairen Preisen. Wir haben Pasta und Wrap gegessen. Dazu selbstgemachte Limonade getrunken. Alles sehr zu empfehlen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall nicht das letzte Mal dort gewesen sein.

Regional, saisonal, Bio und vegan/vegetarisch. Dazu noch super gemütlich und MEGA lecker!!!! Was will man mehr? Kommen definitiv wieder!

Ich liebe das Essen dort. Die Potpourri Vorspeisenplatte ist so wunderschön und liebevoll angerichtet. Ich bin jedes Mal begeistert von der Vielfalt der essbaren Blüten, eingelegten Gemüsesorten und oberleckeren Dips. Und jedes mal variiert es je nach Saison und ich bin jedes Mal einach nur begeistert wie unglaublich toll Gemüse schmecken kann. Dazu frisches warmes Brot. Geil. Die veganen Burger wechseln jede Woche und sind auch immer mega lecker. Die Wraps sind auch super yummy. Ganz toll finde ich auch die selbstgemachten Limos, dekoriert mit Blüten und Kräutern. Auch das Bestellen via App oder bei der Kellnerin funktioniert sehr gut, reibungslos und schnell. Wir wurden heut von Laura bedient und es war wirklich alles super. Immer wieder eine Freude bei euch Gast zu sein. Die kreativen Gerichte sind einfach sooo inspirierend und ich fühl mich danach immer einfach nur glücklich. Bis ganz bald.♡♡♡

Die Atmosphäre ist ebenfalls ein Highlight. Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich, perfekt für ein romantisches Abendessen oder ein Treffen mit Freunden. Wir sind begeistert und können es uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Es ist der perfekte Ort, um köstliches veganes Essen in einer wundervollen Umgebung zu genießen. Wir sind und bleiben Stammgäste!

War sehr positiv überrascht... Ich hatte einen Wrap der sehr schmackhaft (etwas schärfer) und sättigend war. Die Kartoffelspalten mit Dip haben mir auch sehr gut geschmeckt.

Ein sehr kleines familiäres Restaurant. Das Essen ist sehr gut portierniert zu fairen Preisen. Auch die Limonade ist sehr lecker. Wir würden hier immer wieder gerne hingehen. Ein echter geheimtipp.

Gerne hätte ich 6 Sterne vergeben! Der Service war superfreundlich,aufmerksam und sehr zuvorkommend!! Das Essen war mit fantastischen Zutaten megaaromatisch und kreativ zubereitet. Unsere Gerichte waren zudem soo liebevoll angerichtet, das wir durch essen die Kunstwerke fast nicht " zerstören " wollten 😉. Es war ein Hochgenuss, den letzten Urlaubsabend dort zu verbringen!

Super schön rustikal-natürlich eingerichtetes Restaurant. Es gibt leckere vegane Gerichte, welche teilweise wöchentlich wechseln. Dabei auf ein paar Kreationen gestoßen, auf die man nicht so häufig trifft. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Bordsteingold!

Unfassbar! Was eine Location, innen und außen! Das Essen ist unbeschreiblich raffiniert, alles mit Blümchen angerichtet, die Cocktails 🍸 sind sprachlos machend. Service top, spannend, dass alles ohne Speisekarte abläuft. Wir kommen wieder.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch für die Augen sehr hübsch auf den Tellern angerichtet. Die Kellner/innen waren freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonders originell fand ich die Keramikteller und -platten, auf denen das Essen serviert wurde. Daumen hoch für den kreativen Kopf 🙂 Mein einziger Kritikpunkt sind die Stühle im Gartenbereich, die noch ein Sitzpolster vertragen könnten. Ein gemütliches Essen ist auf dieses Sitzgelegenheiten kaum möglich. Wir kommen gern wieder. 😉

This 100% vegan restaurant is one of the best we have ever visited. The variety and virtuosity of their cooking is just formidable and very enjoyable. Also our father who is a omnivore^^ was amazed by their burgers and wraps! They additionally offer special homemade lemonades and cocktails as well as sweets, desserts and cake! Also the venue is very special with a beautiful green oasis in the middle of the city inside and also in their beautiful backyard. The service team was also nice and very well informed about the menu. Definitely a must when visiting Magdeburg or for citizens who haven't been here yet! Don't miss out on this one! Dieser Besuch war spontan und wir wären glatt daran vorbei gelaufen, wenn uns nicht dir vielen Pflanzen im Fenster aufgefallen wären. Das Lokal ist klein, aber sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Essen war unglaublich lecker und die Getränke selbst zubereitet. Für alle die vegetarische Küche mögen, werden dieses Lokal aufsuchen und weiter empfehlen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Vi ønskede en grøn og sund aftensmad. Og vi blev ikke skuffet. Som starter delte vi 4 små halve stykker grillet brød, med 2 små tilhørende dips. Vi bestilte herefter hver en portion ragout med asparges og sojamaineret snitzel. Hertil delte vi en mellem stor salat. Der var rigeligt mad. Vi kunne fint have delt én salat og én ragout. Hyggelig, på alle måder grøn og utraditionel restaurant. Vi sad i gårdhaven. Venlig og imødekommende tjener. Velsmagende retter. Savner et menu-kort med billeder af retterne, da vi havde lidt svært ved at gennemskue menu-kortet.

Het voorgerecht met verschillende smeerseltjes, ingelegde groenten, mosterdzaadjes kaviaar, vega kaas en salade was lekker. Daarna hadden we een wrap waar zoveel verschillende dingen in zaten dat het echt teveel smaken door elkaar waren. Kijk wat je kiest.
