Good vegan food, especially vegan Italian

Overall, the dishes seemed a bit uninspired, especially with the repetitive ingredients like the rice ring. I would have liked more creativity and variety, especially when it came to vegetables. As a long-time vegetarian with decades of cooking experience, I know how varied and exciting vegetarian cuisine can be - even without the typical meat-based classics such as meatballs or Bolognese in the soy version. It would be nice if the potential of herbal ingredients were used more and independent, creative compositions were developed. I also found the price-performance ratio to be unbalanced, as the preparation and presentation of the dishes were neither particularly sophisticated nor high-quality.

Absolute recommendation. The food was delicious, the service was very friendly and the atmosphere was very inviting.

We spontaneously went here for brunch on a Sunday. We got a seat without a reservation. I found the atmosphere to be very pleasant. The tofu omelette was really tasty and the pancakes were super fluffy. Unfortunately the coffee was nothing. We had 4 drinks and 3 meals. We paid around €50 for this.

We ate at Vegalena today - even though we're not vegan, the food absolutely impressed us! As a starter we had the hummus with fried cauliflower and pizza bread – super tasty! For main courses, we tried the truffle pasta with vegan cheese, which was incredibly creamy, and the burritos with delicious mushrooms and vegetables. Both were well seasoned and tasted great. The service was super friendly and accommodating, we felt completely at home. The atmosphere and furnishings are also very attractive and cozy. All in all, an absolutely worthwhile visit – we would love to come back!

Delicious vegan food. We have been here several times now and have always been very satisfied with the food. We tried bowls, vegan lasagne, vegan burgers and more. What I love is the breakfast burrito, which is available on the weekend. Everything very tasty! Recommended

Eating out a lot...the price-performance ratio doesn't fit. The food was nothing special and also way too overpriced. Service was not professional (cutlery was missing, we waited forever for food. We also waited forever for the sparkling water that was added. After we had paid, a new sign was immediately slapped on the table. That's the next reservation!) otherwise the spatial conditions are not so pleasant. Above all, there is very little space at the tables! I definitely won't go here again. Too bad. Unfortunately overpriced! I've been there twice now and both times I thought the same thing: the prices are too high for the food on offer. This time I had a beetroot salad for €17. In addition to 5 thinly sliced ​​beetroot slices, the salad mainly consisted of green leaf lettuce. You could also count cucumber and tomato slices on one hand. To charge €17 for this (and there was no bread included) is crazy. I didn't get full and had to eat something again afterwards. The drink prices are also high. Still water 0.2 costs €2.80, 0.75 over €6. Too bad!

We always enjoy coming back. The food is very tasty and the waitresses are very nice. Current: Unfortunately the prices have been increased so much and the portions are smaller... so we won't be coming anymore

Food (had the Auszern Pilzschnitzel) was outstanding. Also very nice ambience and nice service.

Eat: The starter (bruschetta) with three different bruschetta options was absolutely outstanding and a 9/10! Only the bread could have been a little crosser. The main course (gnocchi) was also very tasty and a 7/10, as the consistency of the gnocchi was unfortunately a bit too soft. Service: The staff is very courteous and attentive, so there are no long waiting times. Ambience: The restaurant is very stylishly decorated. Unfortunately, the tables are very close together, which increases the noise. It was also a bit chilly when we visited. Prices: Since Vegalena uses carefully selected, fresh and high-quality ingredients, the prices are comparatively high. However, the restaurant takes part in a discount campaign (NeoTaste) where one main course is free. All in all, Vegalena is worth a visit!

We had 3 of 5 starters, all excellent. We then had 5 of 7 main courses, all of which were outstanding. I almost always add more seasoning, but there was no need here. We all had desserts, lovely. The lady in service was super nice and personable. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely come back :)

All vegan - solid in taste! Had the bruschetta starter with three different bruschetta variants, all three very tasty! As a main course, the bread dumplings with mushrooms in cream sauce: solid, could be a little more exciting in terms of seasoning in combination with the side dish. The apple strudel for dessert was also good. All in all a nice restaurant, the menu is manageable but I think that's more of a plus point. Service is very nice and accommodating. Gladly again!

Great restaurant with an excellent selection. Plus everything is vegan 🌱💚 The curry-peanut sauce is particularly recommended - world class! Bánh Xèo i.e. the crepe was unfortunately a bit tasteless, but the spring rolls were even more delicious. The prices are quite high, especially for the drinks. There is still potential here. The service is top and, as you would expect, quick and friendly. We'd love to come back!

Friends invited me there and I really enjoyed it. Had pumpkin risotto and raw cake and both were amazing. If I'm in the area again, I'll come back. The service was very personable and I never had the feeling that we were waiting for the right person.

We were here for lunch. It was really tasty, a great atmosphere and very friendly staff.

When it opened, the food was very tasty and creatively put together. Nowadays, only cold cuts and spreads from the pack are served on the breakfast plate (we even recognized some of the supermarket products visually and in taste). The dishes on the evening menu have also decreased significantly. Unfortunately, the service is not very good, you have to wait a long time and the waiter seemed quite unsure and couldn't answer our questions about the dishes. The ambience is generally okay. However, there were still used napkins, breadcrumbs, etc. on the floor next to our table. Overall, it didn't seem very clean.

There is really good vegan food here! And at fair prices. In addition to lunch (with a separate menu) and dinner, there is also a very tasty breakfast at the weekend. Super well decorated restaurant! The interior designer really went crazy. We came for brunch on Sunday lunchtime just before one. There were no guests there, which was very unusual - all the other cafés and restaurants in Stuttgart West are packed at that time. The friendly waiter had his first day. The floor was full of crumbs and not clean, which made the ambience suffer. For our breakfast we ordered a “Classic Breakfast” plate and an “Omelette with avocado and tomato”. For the cappuccino they didn't ask for milk but probably used pea milk. Usually a selection is offered here. You can probably blame that on the new waiter. The tea was a simple tea bag from “Alnatura”. At the classic breakfast, two hot rolls were served, presumably baked. None of the spreads or guacamole seemed homemade. Accordingly, it wasn't worth mentioning in terms of taste. The omelette was actually two pancakes with the fried avocado, tomato and onion filling. Strongly spicy in taste. Later I found several black-fried onion pieces in the “omelet” which explains the intense taste. All in all it was unfortunately a failure. We won't come back and don't recommend it either.

Super delicious food and top service. Filled up if you eat the starter and main course. A clear recommendation, even for non-vegans, is simply good food.

From hearty classics to Mediterranean or something exotic. However, the map is not overwhelming and easy to understand. There is a changing menu which makes the whole thing exciting for repeat visits. The ambience is neat and well-colored. The food came quickly and the service was otherwise very friendly. Why not 5 stars because there was no proactive information about the food. That gives me an extra point, but it's not a negative criticism. I felt completely comfortable. Thank you for this beautiful vegan concept.

The food was super tasty, the service was great too. What struck me as negative was the boss, how he treats his employees and conducts internal discussions in front of customers, I find questionable.

At first it was a very good restaurant. Unfortunately, the portion sizes are now very small and the prices have increased significantly! Unfortunately, you won't be satisfied with a normal meal anymore.

My first visit to Vegalena was perfect. My meal was a complete delight from starter to dessert. Everything was very tasty and flavorful. Portions just right. The selection on the menu was completely sufficient for me. (Better less and very good quality!) Service was super friendly & attentive. The location is cozy, lovingly and modernly designed. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Vegalena.🥰 P.S.: If you come by car, you should allow a few minutes to look for a parking space. There are no direct parking spaces at the restaurant.

This restaurant was recommended to us by friends, so we already came with high expectations, but these were exceeded. I had a super tasty asparagus soup followed by the vegan asparagus paella, which tasted amazing with a delicious spicy flavor. Service is super friendly and fast. We will definitely be back and are delighted to have found another delicious vegan restaurant to be added to our list of top places to get awesome food.

Great restaurant that is easy to reach by S-Bahn. The menu is relatively straightforward, with only a few dishes to choose from. But in my opinion it is sufficient. The food was very tasty. Special praise to the employees: Everyone was so incredibly friendly and asked several times whether everything was OK. We will come back.

Unfortunately we were unlucky. Starter was ok - bruchetta 3 pieces (hummus, avocado, tomatoes). Main course paella with green asparagus, peas, cauliflower in SPICY tomato sauce - completely overcooked (carrots and asparagus al dente, the rest puree). On the map since this week. Spicy, unfortunately peppery. I had 3 bites and was already running, my companion had 10 bites. Visually it was a disaster. But the waitress was always there from the first drink onwards, but not to ask if anyone else would like to drink and we sat in front of our unfinished plates for 20 minutes. Oh yes and Spezi in a glass without a calibration mark, but logically that's 0.33l. I didn't say anything when I was cleaning up because I was going to the toilet. The owner or managing director was unimpressed at the laptop in front of the bar and the service girl looked like a Telekom employee. Just let the criticism slide. Thanks, I'll pass it on. Full price - no excuse and so when we'll try it again, I have no idea. Really positive. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated.

We had a wonderful 3-course meal. The bruscetta, really great with the different combinations and the bread, so good. Super delicious, buttery gnocchi, I already miss them. The finale with apple strudel and vanilla ice cream was a dream. For the price you get quality and taste. What is also special is the beautiful ambience and the service was attentive and friendly. Very highly recommended. If you want to treat yourself to something here, whether vegan or non-vegan, this is the right place for you.

The two of us came here a few weeks ago because we found the restaurant in a voucher book. The facility sparked spontaneous enthusiasm. Especially if you know what the place looked like before. The food was fantastic even though we are not vegan. There was a misunderstanding that redeeming the voucher would include an appetizer (it's not in the conditions), but that didn't bother us because we wanted to try different things anyway. And we were totally impressed with the taste of all four dishes. There was an unpleasantly long wait between the delivery of the starter and the main course, but the staff apologized for it. It's all ok. And in this atmosphere you'll be happy to wait and have a good chat. We will be back and have already recommended you several times!

Ich war schon mehrmals mit meiner Familie dort und war immer sehr zufrieden. Wir haben bisher immer von der Mittagskarte bestellt. Sehr liebevoll angerichtet und sehr lecker. Tolles Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Das Lokal ist sehr modern eingerichtet und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Nochmals großes Lob an die Küche und den Chef.

TL;DR: Lunch bowl was very tasty Lunch price is okay I'm not vegan, but still delicious 😁 I was there on Friday lunchtime and had the lunch bowl. It costs around €13 which is a lot for a lunch. The bowl was very tasty and I can recommend it. Unfortunately it is relatively expensive.

Really friendly staff, our waitress spoke perfect English and was chatty and kind. Even offered our kids colouring and books. Food was so delicious and fresh and the environment was clean and sophisticated. 10/10.

I have to admit that I had my prejudices about vegan food. The food in this restaurant is really tasty and definitely highly recommended. In terms of price, you should calculate around 35 euros per person for food including drinks. Big compliment from me.

I am non-vegan! Nevertheless, the Vegalena convinced me with the great ambience, the very attentive service (Laura) and the extremely tasty gnocchi (homemade). We felt very taken care of and were able to pay contactlessly with a card in the end. We were also there with our restaurant guide “Taste Twelve”, which was no problem and was appreciated. Thank you very much and gladly again!
