The pizza dough looks suspiciously frozen. The place has cobwebs. The waitress asked us if we were going to leave a tip, which seems a little awkward to me if you don't feel like leaving one.

Disaster!!!!! I have never eaten worse at an Italian restaurant in Berlin. We were there today with a larger group and ordered a la card. The waiter asked kindly if everything tasted good - we all replied - NO. You could see that most people just ate and then left it. Nevertheless, you were billed in full without any ifs and buts without any excuse!

Went here with some friends for pasta before the Berlin Marathon and we were beyond disappointed! We had to wait over 1.5 hours for our food, while other guests who arrived after us received their food before us. The table water that my British friends ordered, not knowing that you can't get it for free in Germany, was simply not brought instead of being told that it had to be paid for! We were simply ignored most of the time and it was hardly possible to ask how long we had to wait. And there was not a word of apology, on the contrary! Even when we wanted to pay, we were simply ignored. I have rarely experienced such inattentive service staff! And the food wasn't even good, on the contrary. It's a shame, but I can only recommend not coming here!

There are so many other better Italian restaurants nearby, I'd give this one a pass. It took the kitchen 90 minutes to serve a table of 6 with the restaurant half full. The food was very mediocre, pasta tasted over-cooked and bolognese sauce was only so-so. The staff was extremely rude. They made a point of avoiding eye contact all through the service. They avoided us when we tried to order more drinks. They avoided us when we tried to inquire about the state of our food. They even avoided us when we were trying to pay and leave. Do not eat here. There are many many other better choices nearby.

Waited 2 hours never got our food, service was indifferent at best, we left without ever getting our orders and it took at least 30 minutes to get drinks . It is right underneath the train tracks so it is pretty loud and dirty as well! Service was VERY poor!

I entered it as the first place I found to charge my phone and sat there for hours. The beer is very good but the food is absolutely terrible. Vaporetto is a very cozy and modern Italian restaurant, which is located directly on the Spree. The service was friendly and attentive. Above all, the food was particularly good. Overall, a very well-kept restaurant that I can recommend.

The food was nothing special: the Pasta Carbonara my husband had was not tasty at all, but my Quatro Formaggi pizza was ok. The service was quite slow (especially because there were a lot of empty tables). But I must say, the staff was very friendly and the location is good. High point: they accept payment with American Express.

I would define this place as the "vaporetto" heading towards culinary hell. Exploiting the name of Italian cuisine in this way when there isn't even a hint of Italian is truly shameful and is certainly a profit-making choice. The pizzas are clearly frozen, further aggravating the salami on the "diavola" pizza had gone bad and we were sick because of this.

Wir hatten zwei Salate. Geschmacklich war sie ok, Präsentation auch, aber die einzelnen Stücke waren zu groß geschnitten. Dadurch musste man teilweise den Salat oder das Gemüse schneiden um es essen zu können.

We ordered chicken breast which had the consistency of asparagus. You couldn't cut at all and when you point this out to the waiter the only response from the kitchen is that it has to be that way. When you order, you will be asked which side dish you want, but you don't have to pay extra for it. So two chicken breasts with two potatoes as a side dish, a bottle of water and an Aperol for a total of 90 euros.....not again

We were on the vaporetto last night and had chicken breast with champions as a side dish of rosemary potatoes (side dish costs extra) by the way! We weren't told that it would cost extra. The chicken breast was so chewy and like asparagus when cut. It was annoying that the answer came from the kitchen: it has to be that way. Food, a large water, an Aperol for two people €90 Not recommended! We won't be coming back.

They forgot one of our drinks, but they gave it to us when we asked twice. Well, it was the European Championship final, so you can't blame them. Otherwise everything was good

The service brought me a wet plate and when I asked for a new one, just another one that was dripping wet. Bottomless 20€ for the plate prepared very carelessly. The cappuccino and espresso were delicious. The service apparently doesn't listen well when asked for a receipt, it was pushed away and could no longer be printed out.

Update May 2024. The offer until 4 p.m. is still there. We were at the restaurant at 3:30 p.m. When ordering, the waitress immediately looked at the clock. Lucky. We were able to order the Margherita pizza on offer. We got a relatively small pizza. It was more of a children's pizza. Okay, so there are savings here too. Funny. I don't know if we'll come here again. Our spontaneous visit turned out to be a complete success. A comfortably furnished restaurant. The lunch special was perfect. The pizza was very tasty. We'll definitely come again

The restaurant is absolutely not recommended, "Sorry, we have new staff who don't know their way around yet" was used again and again as an excuse for poor service! The wrong wine was served and the food order was only taken after we asked! Then after another 30 minutes another order was placed using the excuse listed above! Then after another 40 minutes, when we thought our food was coming, the waitress came and asked for our order again with the excuse listed above! But the new waitress had long since left the restaurant and had nothing to do with our food order! Then our pizzas arrived in less than 5 minutes!!!! Not baked through, the base of the second pizza was so thin in the middle that it was just a mush! After the complaint we were offered a Limocello and another order! But we decided not to do that because it was already getting late! We wanted to speak to the boss, but he had already left and, according to the waitress, there was no deputy! We had to pay full price for the few bites, but the stomach ache that followed was free! You can also earn money this way!

I cannot recommend this restaurant. Dinner for two, pasta with chicken, mushrooms and tomato sauce and a pizza with mozzarella and salami. Both dishes came to the table after a maximum of 5 minutes and were definitely not freshly prepared. The pizza looked like a hot frozen product, which you can tell because the salami was put in the oven and burned on the edges. The aroma and taste were just bad. The pasta dish didn't look any different, it looked like it was made from prepared basic ingredients and didn't taste like anything, and salt didn't help either. Two thirds of both dishes were returned. We complained about the food but all we got was “we’re sorry you’re not happy”. Paid and left the restaurant without a tip. Other reviewers have also had these experiences, for me it's a tourist trap, not a recommendation.

A pizzeria like any other with pizza that's okay. However, the service is outstanding. I should have received such friendly service in Berlin.

Das essen war echt super, von der Lage ganz zu schweigen. Kann man nur empfehlen. Service war auch sehr freundlich.

Essen sah wirklich gut aus! Ambiente auch gut! Geschmacklich war es leider nicht der bringer obwohl sogar extra Wünsche (chilli) erfüllt wurden! Service sehr Nett! Leider ging die Karte nicht so das wir dann Bar zahlen mussten!

Durch Zufall hier gelandet. Eigentlich nur, um etwas zu trinken, dann aber auch gegessen. Wir hatten einen super Service. In der Zeit, die wir hier verbracht haben, waren zwei Männer für uns zuständig, die extrem aufmerksam waren und auch Sonderwünsche gleich erfüllt haben. Wir haben nicht am Wasser gesessen, aber draußen. Die Pizza war eine echte Überraschung. Der Thunfisch war noch mal extra gewürzt, sehr lecker, habe ich so noch nie gegessen. Die Pizza hatte den perfekten Teig und war sehr gut belegt. Wir hatten einen tollen Abend und werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Danke an das Team

Das Essen an sich war super und hat sehr lecker geschmeckt, bis auf die Nachspeise. Wenn ich zum Italiener gehe, dann erwarte ich ein extrem gutes Tiramisu, das ist leider ein Reinfall gewesen. Der Cappuccino war auch extrem gut. Leider war die Speisekarte sehr eingeschränkt, und etwas einfallslos. Restaurant ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Viel zu groß waren die Hähnchenstücke im der Sosse, Aperol Spritz hat nicht besonders geschmeckt

Hatten heute eine Firmenfeier und der Service war perfekt. Aufmerksames Personal. Die Speisen sind gut ausgewählt, jedoch wäre eine Wochenkarte aus meiner Sicht denkbar. Das hängt natürlich vom alltäglichen Geschäft und den Interessen der Gäste ab.

Ristorante italiano a Berlino Mitte, proprio sulla trafficata Schiffbauerdamm di Berlino, vicino l'imbarco per i traghetti che girano la città sul fiume. Il locale è carino tipo trattoria, il personale gentile, anche se non parlano italiano. Abbiamo mangiato all'aperto. Abbiamo preso un piatto di formaggi italiani, abbondante, ottimi e freschi, ben conservati, con olive condite e un ottimo bicchiere di vino rosso italiano, merlot. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Habe 40min draußen gesessen, das einzige was wir bekommen haben war eine Speisekarte. Es hat keiner es für nötig gehalten eine Bestellung auf zu nehmen. Beim nachfragen nach der Speisekarte wurde sie Wort los auf den Tisch gelegt und man verschwand wider ins Lokal ohne wieder zukommen. Nein danke nie wieder .

War gestern in als Berliner in diesem Laden. Nicht empfehlenswert. Original Carbonara werden nicht mit Sauce serviert. Nicht das der Salat überall braune Stellen hatte, der Lachs darin ist 5 mal gestorben. Und die angebliche Latte macchiato, war ein sehr großer Milchkaffee. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm. Essen war ganz gut. Ist ein sehr beliebter und dadurch belegter Platz. Man kann im Restaurant, vor dem Restaurant und wenn was frei ist auf der anderen Straßenseite am Ufer sitzen. Klar zahlt man hier auch für die Location bzw. den Standort. Alles in allen war es ganz gut. Als Gesamtbild... Vier Sterne für mich Wert.

Ich hatte ein Salat für fast 20€ und war mega enttäuscht 😞, zwei stück Tomaten 🍅, zwei stück Gurke, 6 stück Hühner 🐔 Fleisch Streifen und mega viel Salat! Krass!!! Dad rote Licht unter den Sonnenschirmen ist nach kurzer Zeit für die Augen 🙈 👀 keine gute Lösung, sehr anstrengend. Frage warum hat man rotes Licht gewählt???

Haben uns spontan für einen Eiskaffee und einen Latte Machiato entschieden. Man sagte uns sofort, dass der Eiskaffee noch nicht ganz kalt sei. Wir haben ihn trotzdem genommen. Sind begeistert, dass es der erste vernünftige Eiskaffee in Berlin ist, den wir bekommen haben. Nach einem Probeschluck kam die Chefin? und sagte, dass man ihn zurücknehmen würde, wenn er nicht in Ordnung für uns sei. Ganz im Gegenteil zu anderen Rezensionen sind wir begeistert und haben noch einen weiteren Eiskaffee bestellt. Super Team 👍

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Restaurant, super Küche und tolle Bedienung, vor allem "Vaso"

Netter Italiener am Schiffsbauer Damm. Das Ambiente ist okay, nicht aufregend aber sauber. Die Pizza war lecker, guter Boden leckerer Belag. Der Kellner mit dem Irokesenschnitt hat uns allerdings sehr überrascht. Er war super freundlich, schnell und die Weinempfehlung war genau richtig. Trotz des schrägen Äußeren ein sehr kompetenter Kellner. Vielen Dank!!!!

Die Location ist ganz schön, allerdings lässt der Service und das Essen etwas zu wünschen übrig. Wir saßen draußen und haben quasi ständig versuchen müssen einen Kellner auf uns aufmerksam zu machen, allerdings hat das auch immer noch eine Weile gedauert. Auch das Essen war okay, aber mehr leider auch nicht. Von gut würde ich da nicht sprechen.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant mitten am Wasser den Bahnhof direkt vor der Tür. Die Pizza meiner Tochter war sehr groß und lecker. Ich hatte Arabiatta Nudeln ebenso lecker zumal beides sehr großzügige Portionen waren und Heiss. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ich habe einen Kaffee bestellt, aber einen Cappuccino bekommen. Habe es direkt angesprochen und der Kellner wollte sich drum kümmern. Nach 3 mal nachfragen bei ihm und weiteren Kellnern habe ich weitere 35 Minuten gewartet. Schon traurig, wenn es hier nicht mal möglich ist, einen Kaffee zu bekommen. Ich sollte dann nach Aussage des Kellners einfach den Cappuccino trinken. Blöd, wenn man aber keine Milch verträgt. Spart euch die Zeit und geht in ein gutes Restaurant!

The location on the riverside is the main plus. Otherwise it's quite lackluster.

The only good thing about this place is the location. The drinks are very very expensive - €5.10 for a small bottle of Coke and we were given less beer than the menu stated for a pitcher - €21.90 and poured out just 3 glasses. The staff were brusque and not friendly. The food was 100% mediocre.

Schlimmer gehts nicht. Jeder Stand der Pizzastückchen to go anbietet hat bessere Qualität. Keine Steinofenpizza. Oben nochmal Öl drauf gemacht. Haare auf der Pizza. Schlechter Geschmack. Sehr kleine Pizza für den Preis. Schmutziges Besteck. Bier vom Fass hatten auch 3 von uns, durchweg zu warm. Zimmertemperatur. Lange Wartezeit auf das Essen. Bei einem Fehler wird nichts zur Wiedergutmachung angeboten, beispielsweise ein Aperitif oder Tiramisu etc. aufs Haus. Wir werden dort nie wieder hingehen. Einzigst die Lage ist toll, direkt an der Spree.
