The food is okay, especially the lunch special, which is great value for money. Almost all the staff have been very friendly so far. However, the tables aren't clean, even if you arrive at 12:00 when the restaurant has just opened. The middle tray is covered in dust, stains, and crumbs, even though it's supposedly cleaned every evening. In the kitchen, they're working without gloves while preparing the pasta and eating and drinking in between. That shouldn't be the standard, should it?

I've always loved this restaurant because of the speed and quality of service. But the receptionist in Gladbach desperately needs to be reconsidered, as the wait to get a payment card was as long as the meal itself. There was no apology either; they were incredibly unfriendly. In stark contrast, the chefs were very pleasant. A real shame.

Outrageously expensive for what you get. The pasta is very tough... When asked if I enjoyed it, I mentioned it, and the answer was that they're usually cooked quite hard, so you should let them know and they'll cook it longer. Great, how would you know if you've never been there? Just throwing away 16 euros for a dish with a few pieces of salmon. There will definitely be no next time.

Very bad additude of the man with the tunnels in his ears. My girlfriend needed to the the toilet and ask the person at the bar politely if she can go to the toilet, he said yeah sure its around the corner. On the way to the toilet this man with the tunnels in his ears intercepted! It was not allowed to go to the toilet unless you pay 1 euro. So I said yeah sure no problem I will pay with card. He nods his head in disbelief and let's out a big *sigh* He was really annoyed with me willing to pay? I can't pay with card only with cash , sadly i had no cash so my girlfriend can't go to the toilet.. this man was being so unwelcome to us. What a horrible guy that was.

The chefs are great, always with a relaxed attitude 👌 the young man at the cash register is great! The staff when ordering drinks 🙈 don't look like they're not in the mood... three chefs give it their all and the drinks 🙈🤬

The food (spaghetti with shrimp, cream sauce, and spinach) tasted great, but the pasta was unfortunately much too soft. I politely mentioned this when paying, but was dismissed with a "can't be right." Very unprofessional – a shame, as despite the good taste, the service leaves a negative impression.

Today I went to Vapiano for the first time in years because I was very disappointed in Cologne. Today, Vapiano Mönchengladbach convinced me to go back to Vapiano. The food was delicious and the portions were filling. I also think it's great that pizza is back on the menu. Bottom line: Vapiano in Mönchengladbach is really great and I enjoyed going there years ago.

I've ordered from there quite often, mostly for takeaway. Personally, I mostly order pasta and salad; the dishes are good, and I can customize them to my liking. For me, the pasta and salad are nothing special, but they're exactly what I'm happy with. Today, a bitter disappointment... Coronavirus has likely changed restaurants permanently. What used to be a Caesar salad is now (Cesare - intentionally misleading) a very slimmed-down version of what it used to be. The salad, which costs over €11, consists of just a few green leaves. Now that's what I call profit optimization! Never again! I'm extremely angry!

The dishes are tasty, especially the pasta. Unfortunately, the prices are now beyond good and bad. In a normal Italian restaurant, table service is included for similar money, which Vapiano never had due to the concept. If you don't have enough money and don't necessarily invite several friends, you'll have a good time here.

That was the first and last time in the Vapiano, especially in the minto.

Die Köche waren super freundlich und lustig ,beim zubereiten der Speisen. (das einzig positive!) Pasta war für den Preis echt zu teuer und war geschmacklich geht so. Der " freundliche" Herr H. An der Kasse war so herablassend und arrogant, dass habe ich selten erlebt. Es war fast leer im Vapiano, an Stress kann es nicht gelegen haben. Das war das erste und letzte Mal im Vapiano, erst Recht im minto.

I didn't like it. I had spaghetti funghi. And my daughter penne with prawns. Of course it takes a while for the dishes to be ready, but we found the wait to be long. You stand there like a fool and wait. Unfortunately the dishes were not ready at the same time. Mine first and was directly sprinkled with cheese. When we got the dishes, my spaghetti had melted into a lump with the cheese. It also tasted very soapy, as if the pan hadn't been rinsed properly. I also think €4.20 is steep for a 0.33 liter bottle of cola. The only positive thing was the staff, they were really nice.

Vapiano Mönchengladbach is simply a great team! Whether at the wine bar or if you want a special salad, you will receive unique and courteous service. Yesterday I visited the Vapiano in Mönchengladbach with my wife and we ordered pasta. However, what was supposed to be a pleasant visit to the restaurant turned into an extremely disappointing experience. After placing our order we had to wait 45 minutes without our food being prepared. During this time, we noticed that the employee in charge was constantly engrossed in conversation instead of processing the orders - neither ours nor those of other guests. It is absolutely incomprehensible and disrespectful that during this entire time we were not even informed that our order was not being processed. It was only after 45 minutes that we found out that we had simply been ignored. Such behavior is completely unacceptable in a restaurant that presents itself as respectable. I understand that catering establishments can experience overloads or other internal challenges. But this in no way justifies treating guests so disrespectfully and leaving them in the dark.

The three of us went out to eat two days ago and have all been struggling with nausea and diarrhea since then. There were problems with the order. In my dish (Gamberetti e Spinaci) the scampi was burnt, which the chef noticed but apparently ignored. In addition, the pine nuts were simply left out. Given the high prices, we would definitely have expected more. The service was friendly, but unfortunately we won't be coming here again.

Since there are 3 categories here that can be evaluated, I'll rattle them off. Food: FYI, I only had a cappuccino there. I wouldn't have gotten anything else under any circumstances. €4.20 for a cappuccino that isn't even mediocre... I don't know what the €4.20 is used for, but definitely not for good taste, nice presentation or quantity. Service: I would be even less dissatisfied with good service, but there is neither good service nor any service at all! With a chain like this that costs millions, you have to go to the counter yourself and order your coffee. For the price I find that outrageous. I just hope it's stress-free at least for the waiters. Ambience: The only good thing about the store. It would have been nice if the lamp at my table had worked. In addition, the floor was dirty. So I ask myself: where does all the money go for the overpriced things? Are the employees paid so little that they don't clean? Or even wipe the tables??? (It wasn't even full, that wasn't the problem!!) Conclusion: There are so many better cafés and restaurants in Mönchengladbach where the price-performance ratio is also right. Vapiano is not recommended. Given the prices and the (overrated!) reputation, I'm really outraged. You could walk down an alley and visit an unfamiliar café and that would convince you more than the shop here. I'm really disappointed.

This is by far one of the cleaner Vapiano locations I've ever visited. The toilet is huge, quite impressive! The food was made with lots of care, and the pizzachef added some extra bread with garlic oil upon request to accompany the salad and soup. Food was made quickly. Drinks were quite expensive compared to the food.

We eat there more often when we're in town. The food is very tasty, the portions could be a bit larger for the price. The play areas for the children (available on both floors) are positive, even if the things are pretty worn out, but still better than no play area at all. This means we can eat in peace with small children.

For the next Minto visits we will definitely choose a different fooder... Toilets can only be reached via a large staircase, so a complete fail for people who need barrier-free access.
