Mensa in Mönchengladbach

This winter semester, the Düsseldorf Student Union has made some changes for the worse: no more cash, and meat is only available on limited days! A real intrusion into privacy! Nevertheless, I still enjoy coming to the cafeteria, which was practically deserted when I was a student. The facilities here are very spacious and truly pleasant, as is the selection of food. The highlight is the stew soup. Some of the other dishes are lacking in both quality and quantity. Since the pandemic, there's no longer any vinegar or oil at the salad bar. The staff are truly customer-oriented, excellent.

The staff is great, but the fact that there is no consistently hot vegan dish available other than soup is outdated.

I've always enjoyed coming here for dinner over the past three years. Since this semester, someone else seems to have taken over. There hasn't been a meat dish for weeks. The delicious stew has disappeared from the menu. Additionally, the food has become even more expensive, and cash payments have been abolished.

Food and service is friendly and satisfactory.

Hey guys, nothing against the indoor area... But outside, someone could at least take out the trash... and sweep it - it could be so beautiful there.

Always good food!!! The stews and the jumbo fish fingers are highly recommended!! Although the kipplings are good too!

For a cafeteria, the selection of dishes is perfectly acceptable. The prices are also very reasonable. Vegetarian dishes are also available.

It's just cafeteria food but the price-performance ratio, especially for the students, is awesome! Very cheap so ideal for students 😂👍

The food is ohlalala. I personally recommend the jumbo fish fingers, savoy cabbage rolls and, in such weather, any stews with a filling. The staff is incredibly friendly and kind.

Es ist nicht das leckerste essen, jedoch sehr preisgünstig. Finde ich dann fair für die Chancengleicheit. Vegane Alternativen vorhanden

Das Essen hat für die Preileistung eine echt gute Qualität.

Super günstig und je nach Angebot mehr oder weniger gut. Salat Buffet ist aber immer gut aber auch deutlich teurer. Kaffee ist gut.

Ist halt eine Mensa...das Essen schmeckt eigentlich immer. Toll ist auch dass es immer eine vegetarische Variante gibt und man sich die Beilagen selbst wählen kann oder auch einzeln holen kann; so findet jeder was. Die Preise sind gerade für Studenten super! Kleine Kritik: die Suppen sind fast immer zu salzig, die salatbar mir persönlich zu teuer und die Auswahl könnte größer sein ist aber ok

Ich liebe die Mensa. Günstiges aber qualitativ hochwertiges Essen und stets gut gelauntes Personal.

In der Mensa der Hochschule Niederrhein gehe ich seit 6 Semestern essen und war bis jetzt noch nicht einmal unzufrieden mit dem Essen. Für eine Mensa sehr hohe Qualität an essen und man hat jeden Tag die Möglichkeit sich Bewusst zu ernähren. Für jeden der an der Hochschule studiert oder in der Nähe arbeitet und Mittags hunger hat kann ich die Mensa empfehlen für Preiswertes und gutes Essen 5/5

Tolles Essen, auch 'Nicht Studenten' dürfen die Kantine benutzen. Auch für Vegetarier sehr gutes Angebot.
