Nice, cozy place, delicious food, pleasant service. However, I was a little shocked the other day. I arrived half an hour before opening and waited on a bench. I approached the door to the opening. An employee came and said that Vapiano was closed and wouldn't be opening. I waited half an hour and finally got this information. Was it really that difficult to put up a sign saying that Vapiano was temporarily closed? I wish they had more respect for customers' time. Three stars because of this incident; otherwise, a great place, no problems before.

With a party of around 70 people I was very pleasantly surprised by how well it all went. Most were kids, and we only had a minor delay due to a mixup with our pre-order. Kind staff and good food at only 15€ for a dish and drink!

The place is very good, like the entire chain. I give it one star for the lack of menu options suitable for people who cannot consume foods with certain restrictions.

“If you have seen one, you have seen them all” Waiting time from ordering (at the machine, like with the golden M) then quite a long waiting time, even though there wasn't actually that much going on (around 18 Unr)

They were very friendly and the staff were well trained. The food was a little late because it was a busy time, but it didn't matter because everything was good.

Incredibly big disappointment! A supposed Caesar salad, but only consists of leaf lettuce, a few croutons and a few strips of parmesan for an overpriced 12.50 euros. Caesar salad without chicken breast?!

Good for a quick meal. The ambience is good and the place is family friendly. All meals are customizable. The kitchen does close at 8pm so make your plans accordingly.

This is a quite nice Vapiano's. The food was lovely and quick, relatively cheap. The only problem we had was we tried to make a reservation (thinking it would be busy as it was on the Saturday) and they guy was a bit grump, went later and he was working on the bar and her was still grumpy Overall, quite a nice Vapiano's. Would recommend.

I went to Vapiano because I only had 45 minutes to eat. I ordered lasagna, thinking it would be the easiest and quickest, but after 25 minutes waiting, they didn't call my number. I went to ask and they told me that they still needed it, so I asked them to give it to me to take away. I kept waiting another 15 minutes, I went to ask them and they just tell me that it's not ready yet. I mean! 40 minutes for a portion of lasagna! The groups that arrived after me had their food delivered earlier.

Rarely have you received such poor standard service. They have a self-service system, which is actually quite nice. However, we were very doubtful whether our order had been received, because our drinks did not appear. Then we paid for the order thinking maybe it wasn't placed, but it was. Our food arrived before we got our two draft beers. There are maybe 30 guests in the restaurant in total, so they are not exactly under pressure. The food is nothing to write home about, it is mediocre at best. In return, they charge plenty for it and expect a tip despite self-service - you also pick up your food yourself at the kitchen! At the same time, dirty service abounds in the bar, which is not exactly inviting. With four staff in the restaurant itself, it is difficult to understand that it can sail so much. Would definitely not recommend this place. It's a tourist trap.

This place Is so beautiful, makes you feel wellcomed and pleasant. It's larve, bright, has different corners wether you like to injoy food and coffee by yourself, with a company, or with kids. Ford Is delicious, chefs very skilied and friendly. Way to the toilet brings you into another dimension :), like you're in a spy movie :).

Obviously we are not in Italy, but still good and at an acceptable price! Advised

Excellent. Fast service. Good portion for the price. The lunch deal is definitely worth it.

Unfortunately too little sauce and almost no mince in the Bolognese. Price performance is not quite matched. We have now tried it for the second time. I will try it again on site and eat fresh on site. Just expected more Italy. Otherwise a nice restaurant for Berlin.

Waiting time too long despite the restaurant being only moderately busy (waiting over 30 minutes for pasta at lunchtime during the week). It tasted good.

Nice atmosphere, the food was delicious, but really very weakly seasoned. The service was nice.

Delicious pizzas and pastas. You have to order yourself via a machine, which is quite convenient. Not a very large branch. Nice to have something to eat in an informal way.

Very nice, manageable and clean Vapiano branch with a small but well-equipped play area for children. Food good as always and very nice service.

I ordered a Caesar salad on take away only to realise when I got home that I paid 11,45€ for salad and croutons, I am thrilled. I really recommend the experience 👍

This is the first time I’ve come across the fact that the food on this chain is absolutely not tasty!

We sat down in the Vapiano at Checkpoint Charlie on a Sunday in January when hunger struck. We were really impressed by the chilled atmosphere and the delicious food. We enjoyed it and were extremely happy with our decision to dine there. Very relaxed atmosphere, clean and tasty at the same time. Thumbs up 👍🏻

The German VAPIANO (we tried several times) is a real disappointment. Anyone who knows VAPIANO from Switzerland will be bitterly disappointed here. Unfortunately the pizza is a disgrace. The mozzarella is “chewy” and forms a thick -greasy layer - not Italian at all. The dough is strangely tasteless. The tomato sauce too. The whole pizza is heavy and not worth the name. Anyone who knows VAPIANO in Switzerland and eats here with the expectations from there will be bitterly disappointed. The pasta is also not at all what you would hope for. There are some more vegan dishes, but since they are just as tasteless (e.g. the pumpkin soup), they are hardly worth mentioning. Unfortunately, the concept is also different, which loses a lot of its flair. We definitely won't be coming back and would advise against it for anyone who likes delicious Italian food. Ultimately, it is self-ordering and pick-up - so American fast food chain in Italian (just as unhealthy and just as culinary outstanding).

It's a good place and delicious food

We know the restaurant chain and eat there every now and then because my wife has gluten intolerance. Consequently, the choice fell on the gluten-free pinsa and the risotto. When we entered the shop we were kindly asked by a waiter behind the bar if we knew the principle. Orders are made either at terminals or at the table using a QR code. Which I personally think is a shame because the interpersonal relationship is completely lost. The drinks can be picked up at the bar or brought to the table by the waiter. When the food is ready, it is picked up at the counter. As always, it was good and you can pay at the bar or online using the card on file. We sat at the entrance where the door was ajar. It was not possible to close it because the door was locked after opening, so the latch prevented the door from falling into the lock. This meant that it was a little cool in the entrance area.

It depends on the day whether they have gluten-free dishes or not... 🤷‍♂️ The problem is that they told me that there were no gluten-free dishes (not even PINSA)…

Worst table service of my life. You have to use a confusing app to order, missing some things in the menu, and at the end you can't submit your order unless you give them your phone number 🤯

Super nice staff, very helpful and the food was also very good and ready very quickly.

There is thick dust on the table lamps and in the window frames. Our table was/wasn't wiped down. Nobody takes responsibility. Music way too loud. Pasta Bolognese tastes great.

Cesar salad without chicken and tongs! Don't expect Italians to serve you, but to eat something quick and good in the surrounding area I definitely recommend these two things.

Ve y ponte tú mismo, lo que pides se pone en una tarjeta , nada de papeleo por lo que cuando tu pedido está mal te dicen que lo vuelvas a comprar correctamente. No volveremos.

Excellent restaurant for an informal lunch or dinner. The dishes are prepared right in front of you and gives a certain elegance and pleasantness to the place. The first courses are really good as are the salads. Recommended for a hit and run in the city but also for a romantic dinner or with friends.

Very nice restaurant. Order the food from an order display and can also use the filter to select gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan, etc. You can either eat the food in or order it to take away. Then pay with the card and enter the number on the small device next to it - this vibrates when the food is ready and you can pick it up. You get the drinks immediately after ordering at the bar. I had a gluten free pinsa - was delicious.

Now I've been going to vapiano every once in a while for a few years now and I swear this was the best pizza I've ever had. Also the service was a slay, I thought all the low tables were occupied so as a wheelchair user I left, yet the worker walked out and called after us and gave us a seat. Honestly such a sweet guy, a great place.

I ordered pasta but not rice cake... but thanks to that, the other foods tasted delicious.

The self-service service at the entrance is easy and practical, we pay with Wise and Nomad. The food was great, we ordered pasta and beer. Clean, pleasant and modern environment.

Overcooked pasta. Not tasty. Dirty dishes are not removed from the table.

The pizza was 7/10. Since everything is based on electronic ordering, there is hardly any customer contact and if so, not particularly (cash). The decor is nice, but not exceptional. I always prefer an Italian restaurant as a classic restaurant. The selection of non-alcoholic drinks without sugar and/or tea is very limited.

They have a system to place orders through machines, which are somewhat complex to understand and without any type of digital help or any person.

The concept of online group ordering quickly became popular with everyone and we all had our food and drinks at the same time. For us it was very good here, the food was very tasty and freshly prepared, unfortunately we escalated the dolci and the espresso consumption was probably unusual. Thank you for a great evening and the cheerful staff.

If you would put attention in flavor and dish size, and your would not talk almost 17-18 euro for carbonara pasta ( that I even asked to take the pork out) like I paid last time, maybe it would be better. Good food and nicely sized portions, ok prices. With the screen ordering you can really adjust what you want. I was there when it was busy, and therefore it was a long wait... (around 25-30 minutes)

The food was good (ordering from the service machine was easy), but the pasta dish was missing the extra parmesan. It was rather cool in the restaurant, which didn't encourage a longer visit. A high chair for our daughter was available.

Nice and delicious food for the price. The portions were of a din size. What doesn't make my visit here the perfect visit is that you have to order food and drink via a QR code on the table. The only time I saw an employee was when my drinks were delivered to the table and dessert at the same time, before the main course was ready and when the table had to be cleared. When one's food is ready, an SMS came asking if I could pick up my food at the kitchen counter.

The worst branch of the chain I have ever been to. It took almost half an hour to get 2 and a half dishes of pasta and the place was not busy at all. Bad and rude service from the person in charge of the shift at the place. Pasta of the children's portion arrived bland and almost without sauce. Very disappointing. We will definitely not return to this branch.

Average place or something worse... The quality-price ratio is bad and the worst is that you pay in advance, tip included, which is a complete extortion. Regrettable.

Service: Complete self-service, the only contact with service staff was when our plates were cleared away. Although you have to order your food yourself at the terminal and then pick it up from the kitchen, when you pay at the terminal you will be asked if you want to leave a tip. In my opinion, a mess. Vapiano tiene probablemente el peor modelo de negocio que he encontrado. Esperé en la fila para que me dieran una tarjeta en la que poder pedir mis bebidas, luego tuve que subir 3 tramos de escaleras para pedir dichas bebidas. Tuve que llevar mis propias bebidas por 3 tramos de escaleras (era un ascensor pero imposible llevar bebidas por mi cuenta). Luego, cuando terminé de beber, tuve que entrar al restaurante y hacer cola para pagar. Cuando finalmente pude pagar, inexplicablemente me pidieron una propina después de haber hecho todas las partes de servicio de la visita yo mismo. Terrible experiencia, terrible modelo de negocio!

Great location, standard food options, simple way of ordering with multiple choices. Plenty of tables, kids corner available. But please, turn on the air conditioning - only after sitting down we realized why the indoor was mostly empty - it was extremley hot.

I had already been to the Vapiano restaurant in Prague and had a good time. As soon as I saw him here in Berlin I had to go in. As I imagined it was a pleasant experience. Nice guys. Beautiful location with olive trees in the middle and soft lights. You can choose the sauce you like best and make changes, you can also choose the type of pasta you like best.

Several nights dining here and very comfortable. Thanks to the kitchen staff and the waitress who prepares the drinks. All very nice.
