It was very tasty. The restaurant was quite busy on a normal weekday. The service was prompt and friendly!

We found a cockroach in my salad. They didnt apologize, we even paid for the salad. Disgusting. Dot recommend, and learn English for god sake

Delicious, traditional Italian food – and it's been that way for many years. The quality is consistently high – just as the service is always friendly and competent. The continuity of the staff certainly helps and should be seen as a good sign – the business runs like a well-oiled machine. The food is absolutely worth the price, you rarely have to wait long, and we've never been disappointed.

We've been visiting this restaurant with its pleasant atmosphere at more or less frequent intervals for many years. Over all these years (about 30!), the food here has been consistently good to very good quality. Be it pizza or salads, or even the upscale Italian cuisine, such as tagliatelle in green peppercorn sauce with fillet tips: always very tasty and affordable. Once, quite some time ago now, the visit was marred by a waiter's apparently forgotten change of shirt – this didn't fit into the overall picture and, due to his frequent proximity to our table that day, left us with a lasting nasal sniff.... Update: ...but everyone is entitled to correction: We were there again: The welcome from the kitchen came quickly: some slightly sour, very white cream, not a Yummy product. There was a hint of onion in it, certainly unintentional, and other unsuitable off-flavors. The accompanying bread had a good crust, but too compact in the crumb. We left it alone. For my main course, I had carpaccio di manzo, with arugula (unannounced) and without celery (announced). It was delicious, the olive oil went perfectly with the olive oil, and the lemon spritzes and salt and pepper I added to the meat perfectly complemented it. It's possible!

Solid pizzeria in the center of Bad Godesberg. Unfortunately, our pizza was in the oven too long. The crust was burnt all around. The fries were very small and chunky, making them too dry. But otherwise, it was tasty. The staff is attentive and accommodates special requests.

The food is highly recommended, although not cheap. Attentive and friendly service. Drink prices are quite high: €5.50 for a bottle of wheat beer. Card payments are accepted. In any case, you won't experience a disappointment here.

Mediocre and a bit too expensive. There were four of us there, so we tried something vegetarian, a pizza, something from the daily menu and fresh black pasta. If you only take the standard dishes from the menu, then I think the price-performance ratio is OK, but the fish from the daily menu alone cost over €30 and I thought that was a bit overpriced. What we also noticed was that the pizza didn't have a fluffy edge. The sauce was a bit too dominant for the vegetarian tortellini. The fish in the daily special was delicious, but the pasta was a bit too simple. My fresh black pasta and shrimp dish was also, in my opinion, the best out of the 4 dishes we tried. Great noodles and delicious sauce, actually it would have been just as good without shrimp. The ambience is nice and cozy. However, it was a bit too loud, which was due to the many guests. The staff is super nice, quick and confident. The food was also brought to the table at the same time, which I thought was really great. In summary, you can go there, it's delicious. But the dishes on the daily menu were too expensive for my taste.

I would rate both the quality of the pizza as well as the location and the friendliness of the staff during my visit as average. Not a disappointment, but nothing exciting either. They seem to have a lot of regulars though.

We were seated at a table with a partition in front of us, where we sat almost next to each other rather than across from each other. When we asked if we could have sat somewhere else, the answer was simply NO. The meal wasn't anything special. The first waiter simply brought us to a table and placed our cards on the table as soon as we were seated. The other one came to take our order and left, and from that point on, no one paid any attention to us. I've been greeted and served better at Haus des Döners. Never again and not recommended. The ladies were definitely friendlier than the men in the restaurant. And the only one who said goodbye to us was the bartender.

Relatively large, located in a 70s building. Some have high ceilings and the predominant color is green. There are a number of asparagus dishes and taglierini with summer truffles on the menu. Unfortunately a very manageable portion - see photo and not that intense in taste. The Rosata was also not typical of the variety.

I ordered the spinach pizza, which ultimately turned out to be a frozen pizza with a little spinach and egg added on top. Very disappointing considering the pizza cost €12 and you're at an Italian restaurant. So I wouldn't recommend the pizzas!

We always enjoy being in Valtellina - whether as a couple or in company, whether for dinner or a glass of wine on the cozy terrace. You always feel comfortable here and are truly welcome as a guest. One of the few remaining real Italians with great, very attentive staff. We always like to come back. ❤️

Very warm service, good food at reasonable prices

We have been here many times and always receive friendly service. Delicious soups and salads, as well as the pasta dishes. It was once again very tasty, as a starter the ginger carrot soup with a potato nest, followed by black spaghetti with shrimps, garlic and a little spiciness, ordered separately! Super! Once again, as always, very tasty!

We lived in Bad Godesberg for a long time and were never really interested. Then we gave it a try and I have to say: really good! We primarily ate from the seasonal or daily menu, which was always very good! My daughter ordered pizza - it was 4/5. Ambiance inside was nice, service was also okay (here and there we had to wait). We now enjoy going there, even if only 2 or 3 times a year. Priced slightly higher.

Super tasty, price performance is right and the staff is very nice

We have been there 2 times, food is really very delicious and service is quick. I can highly recommend black pasta with shrimps and curry sauce. Despite of booking the table in advance, two times we supposed to sit 3 persons at the table for 2, which make experience not very pleasant and uncomfortable. When you go to the restaurant, you want to relax and enjoy the food, without feeling a pressure and sited squeezed like at the fast food restaurant. Food 5+, general experience 4-

I won't be here to list the dishes on the menu, nor to publish photos of the dishes or to discuss the prices. I just want to share my experience, which was truly noteworthy! We arrived without a reservation and the place was packed. Despite this, they welcomed us with extreme kindness and managed to find us a place to eat. Throughout the meal, I noticed that the service at the other tables was exactly the same: smiles, kindness and surprising speed A big THANK YOU and congratulations to the team! Really good!

Unfortunately, Bad Godesberg no longer has that much culinary to offer. The Valtellina is a great restaurant. Very good Italian dishes. Reservations are advantageous during peak times. The staff is very attentive and committed. Satisfied faces appear at the tables.

Were there on a Wednesday evening. We couldn't get a seat without booking in advance. Nevertheless, everything went quickly and the staff was very attentive!!

The ambience has the charm of the 80s, dark green, concrete, Christmas fairy lights and quite noisy. The food - lamb fillet on beetroot carpaccio with goat cheese mousse - was reasonably good, but the portion was very manageable. The service was already standing next to the table when I put the last bite in my mouth but didn't chew it yet. It doesn't work at all!! The water glasses and the wine decanter were hit several times. That doesn't work either!!

With all my love, as a Godesberg resident I can't say anything good. The waitress is not interested in his work and is constantly stressed. Guests at the table are simply ignored for every order (starter, drinks, main course, dessert). That's because you sat with your back to the service. Definitely missed job!!! The starters are just blatant rip-offs. Charging 13 € for a tomato and mozzarella plate and serving unripe, cheap tomatoes (at most 1.5 pieces) with cheap mozzarella and filling the plate even more with rocket salad is shabby. The anti pasta plate had three slices of different, partly tasteless ham and some pulp, which is also quite expensive and cannot be justified at €16. The main courses were rated differently. We were 10 people. Lasagna is a 5 out of 10, pizzas a 2 out of 10 with fries and schnitzel, the chefs have hardly done anything wrong. However, there are positive things to report. Dogs are welcome in the restaurant. The toilets are clean and you don't have to wait long for payment. The dessert was good.

Nice restaurant with a really good and cozy atmosphere. The food was good so far, but both the mixed starter plate (without vegetables, olives, artichokes, etc.) and the salad with scampi were more than disappointing. In the latter, iceberg lettuce was the main ingredient, which shouldn't be the case at a price of 17.90 euros.

Yesterday was probably my last visit of about five visits. What bothered me on every visit was that you were literally dismissed at the beginning. Yesterday was the best example of this. We had just sat down and still had our jackets on when the card was handed to us and we were asked what we would like to drink. That's good in itself, but I would like to get to the restaurant first before I get attacked. Then we were toasting our reunion with our champagne glasses and were just about to take the first sip when we were interrupted by the waitress who asked us what we wanted to eat. I would have liked her to wait until we had finished toasting and at least taken the first sip. For me, going out to eat doesn't just mean satisfying hunger, but also celebrating going out together and spending time together. The food was brought to us quite quickly, without even wishing us a bon appetit, and we weren't asked if everything was okay either. As soon as the food was finished we were no longer noticed. Ordering another round of drinks was only possible after several attempts. The food was delicious, the prices were okay.

Very cozy place, super friendly staff and good service. Received a sandwich beforehand and a bowl of parmesan cheese with dinner, which was nice. Unfortunately, we thought the pizza was seriously substandard (too much cheese, no tasty base and crust, looked like a supermarket pizza). The pastas were also disappointing, not tasty enough.

We sat there on the outside terrace. The pasta dishes were very good, only the pizza was baked too thin and didn't taste good.

Down-to-earth Italian cuisine, but the meat in the lasagne is not very aromatic and the toppings for the Vegetable Pizza are also a bit bland. There is room for improvement. Waiter very friendly. Kromacher Weizen doesn't taste as good as a real wheat beer from Bavaria or Bawü.

Surprise in Bad Godesberg - an airy spot shaded with canvas on a sultry Bonn summer day. The food - we just looked at the daily menu - was solid: the mezzelune filled with lemony ricotta were good, especially with the house-smoked salmon, which contrasted nicely with the richly sweet filling. The dessert, a tiramisu, was, as is so often the case, a caloric imposition even for two keen eaters (who eats something like that?? Is the food industry behind it or the pharmaceutical lobby who want to sell anti-diabetic drugs?) Therefore one star less. The Lugana went well and wasn't too floral - very okay.

The Valtellina is an institution in Bad Godesberg and has been a place to go for good Italian cuisine since the late 1980s and is often well attended. We are also regular guests in the restaurant in the evenings and can highly recommend some of the dishes in particular. However, for us subjectively, the pizza is not one of them. We've tried them a few times, but the dough just doesn't spark. It may also be a question of the oven. What always works, however, are the good salads as a shared starter thanks to the large portion with good dressing with salmon strips, prawns or fried veal liver. Olive oil and balsamic vinegar are conveniently served for seasoning. The pasta dishes here are usually very good. We can particularly recommend the black tagliatelle with salmon, the pasta with beef fillet tips in green pepper sauce and the Neroni alla Simone with broccoli and prawns in curry sauce. However, we have also had pasta dishes here that were a bit bland. It's amazing how heterogeneous things can be here. Trying out new dishes always follows the principle of no risk, no fun. The Valtellina can also offer fine dining. We have eaten good lamb fillet or excellent and tender monkfish medallions, especially from the season tickets. The atmosphere is cozy, but also a bit outdated, so some people may miss the ambience of the kitchen. But they can do it culinary-wise. The desserts are now €10 across the board. The Zabaione is always very good. The tiramisu also tastes good, but the portion size seems to vary a bit. Compared to our last visit in April 2024, there were price increases of between 10 and occasionally 20%. The pasta recommendations above are now between €15-18. The service is always prompt and responsive. What I praise is the option to pay by card. In summer there are some covered outdoor spaces. I generally recommend making a reservation here due to the good occupancy.

The best French fries in Bad Godesberg are available here. Great restaurant for parents with small children who can run around and be loud without any worries. Five additional stars for truly unique child-friendliness.

Unfortunately the pizza wasn't very good, the dough was rather unsalted, nothing special. The noodles were tasty, but also rather carelessly prepared. The service was a bit over-attempted, it wasn't really necessary to show up every 5 minutes.

Very courteous staff! Here you will find a small, fine menu. The two of us came here for lunch and decided on pasta dishes: - black pasta with salmon - black noodles with shrimps, broccoli in curry sauce. We recommend!!!

Die Pizza war wirklich schlecht. Plus Punkten für die Schnelligkeit. Wir haben vier Pizzen zum abholen bestellt, diese waren nach 10 Minuten fertig. So haben sie leider auch geschmeckt. Alt, poppig und aufgebacken. Dazu extrem klein. Nicht mal 30 cm. Für eine Pizza, ungewürzt mit 100gr Lachs und TK Blattspinat aber 16,50€. Absolut nicht gerechtfertigt. 2 Sterne für die Schnelligkeit und weil der Kellner nett war.

Nice “trash Italian”, as people said about such corner Italians in the early 2000s. It was there (in the early 2000s) that the restaurant stopped a bit. Both in terms of the audience, the food and the ambience. However, this should by no means be understood as (loud) criticism. It's a solid restaurant with good food (the starters a bit too cold) and nice service. A fitting Friday lunch Italian!

Absolute recommendation! I haven't eaten Italian food this good in a long time. We ended up here by chance as it was close to our hotel and we were all thrilled. Beautiful ambience, mega mega good food, TOP service. Despite 4 very different dishes, everything was served at the same time and the taste was simply great. Also the salads in advance. In general, the menu wasn't too big, but offers a really good selection of classic and special dishes! If we ever come to Bonn again, I would eat here again at any time. 👍🏻
