We had a delicious lunch today. We were served very friendly and attentively by a gentleman. (It wasn't that busy.) When his shift ended, he was replaced by a young woman. From then on, we were consistently ignored. Everyone who finished after us and arrived after us continued to be properly served around us. She frequently glanced at our table as she passed, but there was no reaction to my glances. After serving us for over half an hour, and there was almost nothing else to do outside except us, she took pity on us and cleared our dishes. By then, I hadn't even had any interest in an espresso, which I had actually wanted to order after dinner. I therefore hardly gave a tip because she acted as if she didn't know what I was talking about instead of apologizing when I pointed out her lack of interest. (This happens to me very rarely, as I myself worked in service as a young adult. Perhaps she simply didn't value me enough as a guest because I had my dark-skinned daughter with me... I hate to speculate like that, but otherwise I couldn't understand why we were the only ones receiving such poor service from her. (Unfortunately, this is an issue again these days...) My children both behaved very exemplary, so that couldn't be the reason. The next time we visit our relatives in Neumünster, we'll try a different restaurant... What a shame! The food actually wasn't bad.

It's great that this restaurant in Neumünster has managed to survive! The food is truly delicious. However, the portions are much too small for me, and I never leave feeling completely full. What I don't understand is why the quality drops at lunchtime! Are they cutting corners? I've had this experience a few times now, which is why it only gets 4 stars. However, when I went there with my family in the evening, the food was nothing but praiseworthy! The staff are also very friendly and attentive! There's nothing to complain about! I found some of the tables too small, and the noise level was sometimes too loud for me. Overall, though, it's a great restaurant where I look forward to going again!

We spontaneously went to Valentino for dinner after the thermal baths with our little son and were very impressed. The service was very friendly and the first thing they gave our son was a drawing board, which kept him busy. His drink was served with a straw, which we thought was very accommodating. The food was very good; I'm very picky about a Spinaci Gorgonzola, but it was really, really good. The wait was also very short, which is an absolute plus, especially with small children. At the end, there was a lollipop for the little one. We were very pleased. Next time we visit the thermal baths, we'll definitely go back to NMS and visit Valentino.

Today we took a trip to the outlet center in Neumünster and discovered this great Italian restaurant on Google. The entire team was super friendly and made an effort to reserve a table at short notice. The food was truly delicious; we'll definitely be back.

We've been living in Neumünster for a year, and Valentino has become our favorite restaurant. The service is always great, and so is the food! I love the tortelloni casserole, and the pizza is delicious too 👍 When the weather's nice, you can also sit outside in the shade.

We both had the fantastic truffle pasta with beef. I requested penne instead of tagliatelle because I simply prefer that to smothering myself with tagliatelle ;) We'll definitely be back; I highly recommend this restaurant!

We spontaneously ate lunch here on Saturday. There were plenty of places available. The rooms are stylishly furnished and exude cosiness. We received a very friendly welcome and chose a window seat. The tuna pizza was great. The base was thin and crispy. Priced a little higher, but commensurate with the food. We'd love to come back. Thank you very much

I was passing by, I arrived and I felt well taken care of. They speak English, maybe a little Spanish, they understand. The prices are not expensive, the four cheese pizza was good, although the dough was very thin in the center. It is preferable on a weekend to go with a reservation. The place feels very familiar.

When we were looking for an Italian restaurant, we came here quite by chance. Luckily we were able to get a table without a reservation. The restaurant made a neat and cozy impression. The staff were courteous and the pasta dishes chosen were extremely tasty. We will be very happy to come back.

This was my second time eating here and my pasta alla castellana was super tasty. As a starter I had a small salad plate, everything was super fresh and the dressing was really tasty. For dessert, enjoy Tiramissu. I can only recommend Valentino and would be happy to come back when I'm back in the north.

We went to this restaurant based on the reviews. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. Neither of us could tolerate the food. The antipasti were without a kick. The pizzas were undercooked. We didn't get that. However, the service was very friendly and responded immediately when we spoke to her. With a little more attention, for example when the glasses are empty, it would be great. The ambience is rather mediocre. A bit emotionless for an Italian. Please feel free to bring the southern spirit to this restaurant. Above all, you should work on the quality of your food for this money.

All in all, highly recommended! We had pasta pollo (a little too salty for my taste), tortellini and a small salami pizza. For dessert, the tiramisu was great, my panna cotta was rather sober...all in all, we definitely recommend the restaurant!

I got into a traffic jam coming from Norway and for this reason I went to eat in Neumünster. I "googled" this place and didn't regret it. Despite the very full restaurant, they tried to organize a table. Not to mention the food. Everything fit ☺️

As a stranger, I was looking for a restaurant for a festive and happy family meal. The choice fell on Valentino, and that was spot on! From the starters to various pasta and fish dishes to the dessert and final espresso, it was delicious, the service was attentive and seemed relaxed, even though there was a lot going on that day. Been there several times, mostly because of the atmosphere and the tables outside. Leisurely always disappointed 5 times. A little more seasoning would help. e.g. Add more salt to the pasta water. Once the food was very tasty - it was lunch. Will go back every now and then but with “stomach pain”. But give it a chance. The classic little Italian is missing in Neumünster. Only the Restaurant am Großflekken (chain restaurant) tries to be moderately successful.
