The food here is delicious, the atmosphere is very pleasant, and the service is very friendly. The price/performance ratio is also good.

Today was my first visit to the Farina di Nonna restaurant. I loved the ambiance, the excellent and friendly service, and, above all, the extremely tasty vegan pizza I chose for dinner. I'd be happy to return and recommend this place.

Probably due to the limited staff, we unfortunately had to wait a long time before we even got the menu. It took over an hour from our arrival to our meal. The pizzas are delicious, though, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. What might be important for some of you to know: they offer gluten-free pasta.

First of all, the staff was super friendly. Unfortunately, the spaghetti carbonara wasn't that great, just a simple cream sauce. For €16.50, I expected the original, which was a shame. The Lambrusco was warm and stale. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant.

We were there on Saturday evening shortly before 9 p.m. Although the kitchen officially closes at 9 p.m., a young waitress immediately and kindly informed us and even quickly let the kitchen know that we still wanted to order. This alone demonstrated how attentive and warm the service is here. The children's special requests were accommodated without hesitation, and we felt in good hands from the very beginning. We were served fresh, warm bread and an incredibly delicious chili oil at our table. The food arrived very quickly, was freshly prepared, and tasted excellent. The pizzas, in particular, were a real highlight. We usually visit the branch in Kiel, but this evening in Neumünster was also highly recommended. The service was outstanding. Every member of staff was friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Even when we were the last guests, the lead waiter in the red shirt calmly assured us that we could take our time because the team would be busy cleaning up anyway. Great hospitality! The atmosphere is very inviting and relaxed. For us, it was an evening that demonstrated how great service and great food can go together. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend the Neumünster branch.

Family-friendly with changing tables in all restrooms, clean, friendly staff, and delicious food. The only issue is the somewhat complicated access with a stroller, but it's manageable.

Very friendly service. We had pizza. Mine with anchovies was delicious. My mango one with thimblefish was a bit dry and needed more seasoning. Had we known they were so large, we would have shared one and ordered an appetizer.

Great atmosphere, excellent food, and excellent staff. It was fantastic that for a birthday (which wasn't announced), everyone at the table received a glass of Prosecco, plus a tiramisu with a tabletop fireworks display/fountain for the birthday child. Exceptional! We'll be back and highly recommend it. Our pet companion wasn't a problem either.

The Diavolo pizza and burrata are absolutely amazing. It tastes at least as good as the Italian food. The service is always super friendly, and the price is absolutely reasonable. I'll be back again and again.

We ate there on July 20, 2025: The menu for two was amazing! The service was fast, and the drinks were brought promptly (it was very warm and oppressive, so we needed a quick refreshment). The food was not only delicious, it was also beautifully presented. We felt well looked after and will definitely be back.

First of all: You guys are truly amazing! The pizzas are always delicious, everything is fresh, and your waiters are always friendly, attentive, and dedicated. This really sets you apart from the rest – thank you so much! On our last visit, we ate outside. Unfortunately, our enjoyment was somewhat dampened by several guests smoking on either side of us – without any regard for the fact that others were eating. Perhaps you could consider banning smoking at the outdoor tables or at least creating a smoke-free area. That would certainly be welcome for many guests. I highly recommend this restaurant; the service is always extremely friendly, the quality and taste of the food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. Farina di Nonna will continue to be a regular guest.

What we were offered on this visit was unfortunately disappointing and unacceptable. The portion of Bolognese this time was so small that the price of almost €18 was disproportionate – a real outrage compared to previous visits. Added to that was an unusually long wait, even though the place wasn't overly busy. The wait staff seemed unfocused and generally distracted. It was clearly noticeable that the manager wasn't there. My polite complaint about the small portion was met with only a laconic comment that it would be "passed on." No apology, no offer of a small compensation – nothing. This is not how you treat paying guests who come regularly. We've made it clear: We won't be back.

Great service, great food 10/10

My friend saw a €15 voucher for Farina Di Nonna on Instagram and redeemed it. I, who have lived in the Nms area all my life and had never been to Farina Di Nonna, thought: okay, I can give it a try. My friends had positive things to say about it too. So, we made a reservation for 7 p.m. on a Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. We got there at 7 p.m. and the place was packed. Understandable on a Friday evening; there was probably a party going on. Anyway, we got a seat after waiting 5 or 6 minutes. Two other couples came in behind us. We were seated at the first table; there was an empty tiramisu and other bowls on it. That's why they probably thought we didn't want anything or had already eaten. Then a table for two became free in a corner at the back and my friend asked if we could have that table because it was really loud and we'd like it a bit quieter. This wasn't a problem. The waiter assured us he would take care of us now, since we didn't even have tickets yet. Other couples who arrived after us already had tickets, and about half an hour had passed. 7:30 p.m. Well, the next table we sat at was still completely dirty. (Picture attached). After another 20 minutes of waiting, at 7:50 p.m., I said to my friend: we'll leave at 8 p.m. There was a menu on the table next to us, so I took it, and we could look at the menu and decide. We thought it might save time, but oh boy, how wrong we were. At 7:58 p.m., a young lady came over to us, who had spoken to my friend when she returned from the restroom, and said that the waiter who had greeted us and seated us earlier had disappeared. A celebration. At least our table was cleaned, cutlery was placed for us, and we were able to order drinks – great. The timer was extended to 8:10 p.m. After a good hour, we had ordered drinks. The evening could only get better. Our orders were taken at 8:10 p.m. sharp. I had a simple salami pizza and my friend had porcini mushroom ravioli in truffle sauce. Our food arrived at 8:45 p.m., and my friend also ordered bread. Other tables just got it. You can guess three times whether the bread ever arrived. That's right, no, it didn't. Well, at 9:20 p.m. we had finished eating and wanted to pay quickly and leave. The waiter from the beginning had reappeared. I have to say, he was a really nice guy. He gave us free drinks so we paid less than €20 with the voucher. That was the only reason we would come back and give the restaurant another chance, since it usually only gets 4-5 star reviews. At first we thought it was only because of the voucher that it was so crowded, but no, according to the waiter, that was probably normal. The shortage of skilled workers is noticeable here too. Still, it's a terrible shame that things (customers) were simply forgotten. To the bosses, please hire more people and stop reprimanding Ray for giving us a drink discount. Well, unfortunately, it won't get more than two stars. Maybe next time.

It's original but too expensive

We can recommend this restaurant without reservation. We were spontaneously looking for a delicious pizza and were not disappointed. We really enjoyed the menu for 2 people. We let ourselves be surprised. Extremely delicious. The service was very courteous, friendly, attentive. Price performance is right. Ambiance is very successful. We'll remember that for our next visit to the city.

The pizza was really delicious, it could only have been hotter. We also told the service lady this, but unfortunately they only responded with a shrug of the shoulders. We thought that was a shame, at least a small “sorry” would have been nice 😞

We and I ate here for the first time today. From the super nice/funny and open young man who served us (Erol) to the food, everything was perfect!

As always, the pizzas were very tasty - I can especially recommend the Truffle Bianco pizza. Service was good even though it was busy throughout. Saif was very personable. Because there was so much going on, it was unfortunately quite loud. Otherwise it would be good if you could order the pizzas half/half. With so many delicious pizzas, we always have trouble making decisions. Either way - we'll be back. P.s. A restaurant in Würzburg would be even better!
