The kebab was anything but good. Cheap meat carelessly cobbled together without any finesse. Unfortunately, a bad product doesn't get better with a celebrity name. Employees seemed rather disinterested. There are much better kebab shops in Berlin (and to be honest, just a few minutes' walk down Kottbusser Damm).

Never eaten such a juicy kebab (vegetarian) and highly recommended!!!!!

Kebab very good. I ate two variants: roll and cake. Both of them tasted delicious, although I would prefer at least the roll. Order quickly, nice and pleasant! The only drawback is that there are few places to sit and eat comfortably on the spot.

Nice atmosphere, in the local! I am a native of Neukreull and know that the kotti is an area to avoid... but I still wanted to try the kebab from Podolski and his team. I got to the restaurant easily and was served my kebab super quickly. The bread was very tasty and the spicy sauce went very well with the crispy meat and fresh salad. Overall it was very tasty, but... When I left the restaurant, I was attacked by 3 drug addicts a few meters in front of the restaurant, just before the entrance to the subway, and sprayed with pepper spray. Even though I defended myself, they were able to take my wallet out of my pocket.

Unfortunately, my visit to *Mangal Döner x Lukas Podolski* was anything but positive. I had high expectations since the name Lukas Podolski was supposed to stand for quality, but the experience was disappointing. Let's start with the food: Unfortunately, the kebab bread wasn't baked through at all. Instead of being crispy and airy, it was soggy and soft - almost as if it hadn't been baked properly. That made the whole kebab less appetizing. In addition, the meat, which only consisted of simple minced meat, was of very poor quality. You expect juicy, well-seasoned meat, but the minced meat was tough, bland and tasted anything but fresh. The salad, which was supposed to provide freshness, was also far too sour. It seemed as if the sauce had been completely overdosed, which made the taste even more unbalanced. Instead of a harmonious composition of ingredients, everything just tasted too sour. The ambience in the store also didn't help to improve the mood. Overall, the store seemed very unkempt - dirty tables, leftover food on the floor and generally uninviting. You would expect a clean and pleasant environment from a restaurant that advertises with a prominent name like Lukas Podolski - unfortunately I was disappointed here. Finally, a word about the staff: Unfortunately, the behavior of the staff was completely inappropriate. Unfriendly, disrespectful and disinterested - you felt more annoying than welcome. All in all, my visit here was really disappointing and unfortunately I cannot recommend the store. I expected much more from the big name. 1 star because it fills you up, but definitely not because of the quality.

We ordered there once and were thrilled, then went there today and were shocked. The two young men were totally high and couldn't get anything done. After we tried in vain to tell them how we like to eat our kebab, we left. It's a shame but we won't go here again.

Since I was visiting Berlin and like eating kebab and dürüm, I wanted to try Mangal but it's not worth mentioning! Just have Poldi’s name on it and that’s it! Dürüm dough from the package - not homemade - otherwise it was ok! Staff not exactly the friendliest!

The kebab tasted great. If you ask, the guys will put more sauce on it. The bread could clearly be bigger. The fries for our little mouse were also great. The staff was very nice and we could also pay by card. Only the ambience isn't that great. If you come from very far away, there are no toilets. I personally didn't like the location and didn't feel comfortable there either. In any case, we would definitely come back to eat kebab there again.

For the best kebab after a party, really tasty even without meat, aubergine or whatever that was with the sauces really 10/10, I tore it up like I hadn't had anything to eat in weeks, the price was absolutely great, I'm so thrilled that I came here straight away I have to write a review but maybe it's the Russian cooking water that's talking about it. My grandma once told me: "You come here immediately you little sun of a gun, and listen to what your grand mother has to say! There is only one important thing it the world aside from money, and that thing is a proper Donner kebab" I'll never forget her words. I followed her advice and got one at Mangal.

It’s tasty, but there’s a very hot sauce in the sandwich, which we didn’t warn you about, but overall it’s delicious. They also have their own lemonades. There is very little place to sit and there are a lot of wasps flying around that make it difficult to eat. I came only because this place was opened by Lukas Podolski, if you’re a fan then it’s worth going. There are places where they make something tastier, but this one is also excellent.

Tastes strange. I ordered the Podolski sandwich with garlic and hot sauce. Everything seemed quite professional and clean, the bread came from a warming cabinet. At the first bite I just thought: “What is that??”. The sauce wasn't spicy, but rather sweet. The bread was warm but not at all crispy, rather firm and chewy. The overall consistency and taste are somehow not right here. It's a shame - I was full of positive expectations and was looking forward to the most expensive kebab I've ever eaten. Maybe you'll enjoy this sweet combination if you don't know the many other excellent kebabs in Berlin? A very big disappointment for me.

It didn't taste good to me: the meat was good, the salad wasn't much, but ok, but the Dürüm flatbread was totally flabby and strangely sweet (shudder), and it stuck to your teeth. Garlic sauce was seriously nasty (like a ready-made sauce with I don't know what additives) - no, no.

So you can't really talk about ambience. But we got one of the scarce seats on the street and all is well. But the kebab: honest and without any celebrity bonus, it was the tastiest kebab in a long time. Crispy kebab bread and the finest meat and salad. We ended up here by chance after visiting the Turkish market and were just hungry. It was only during traffic that we noticed Poldi's name. If we use the U8 again, we will get off here and treat ourselves to a kebab.

Great atmosphere and delicious Döner! We had a great time, the meat and bread were delicious and the raw vegetables helped keep things fresh. The sauces are not too strong but still have a little character. Chef HACI wished me a happy birthday with music and chatted with us. We recommend.

The kebab met my expectations. Everything was well seasoned, the bun was unlike any other (supposedly home-made). For me, the best kebeb in Germany. This is the kebab I would come back for again.

Didn't try the kebab, the lahmacun with vegetables was ok, but a bit low for €5. The guys working there seemed a little disorganized. And while I was waiting for my food, I noticed all the cobwebs everywhere :( but it's like that everywhere these days.

The employee was very nice, had a bit of small talk but the kebab was amazing, the homemade bread was so delicious and the meat poah lemon Lili tasted like uludag, still tasty but a bit expensive 1 kebab and a drink 10€

Haven’t had a kebab sandwich that has made me moan more than the lukas podolski x mangal one. It’s one of the only kebab sandwiches that leaves me wanting more …… btw a toilet would be good.

Since I had already had kebab at Mangal in Düsseldorf at the beginning of the year, I was excited to see what the Berlin branch had to offer. Seen from this point of view, the kebab is okay, but not a highlight in the area and not quite as excellent compared to the Düsseldorfer. There is a skewer (D. jibbet three) and what was actually a bit annoying was the sauce was quite tough and the taste of the meat is not close to the Düsseldorf version.

A lot of fatty meat, few vegetables, just an ordinary, unbaked tortilla. Very average kebab.

So, the sandwich was very good and the bread alone was extremely special and had such a sweet taste. When you bite into it, it's a little crispy at first, but then it breaks and then it's so incredibly fluffy and soft and it tastes very sweet. The sandwich was very juicy and well filled.
