Azzam Restaurant in Berlin

The portions are large, but the food doesn't taste good at all. Too much stress in the store with microphones and shouting. The store isn't clean. The employees are unfriendly and don't want to work. What a shame. I'm not going to eat here. I'm not going to eat here anymore.

The burgers were pretty tasty, the fries super crispy, and the dip was amazing, too. The next time we ordered crispy chicken and a shawarma, which unfortunately didn't appeal to us.

As of: July 2023 When we visited the shop at 2:00 p.m., the interior was empty; outside (with three benches), two tables were occupied, but they were already being served. Taking our order and paying went quickly and smoothly. We ordered one Manakish Za'atar for €2.00 and one 1/2 chicken meal including French fries (because the rice was unfortunately sold out, which was a shame), salad, sauces, and Arabic bread for €9.90, and one Coke for €1.70. Once the food was ready, you had to pick it up from the counter yourself, and you took your own cutlery from the drinks fridge. I personally enjoyed the Manakish Za'atar, so I couldn't complain. The 1/2 chicken was okay; it was marinated in a spice we couldn't identify—it was a matter of taste. The sauces, consisting of hummus, garlic paste, and acili ezme (?), were okay, although I'm not familiar with the acili ezme and garlic paste sauces from Turkish dishes. The salad consisted of white cabbage, corn, and mayonnaise. Unfortunately, we didn't find it that tasty because (1) it was sweet and (2) it already tasted sour, so we suspected the mayonnaise had already spoiled it. Therefore, I ask the owners and staff to ensure that such dishes containing mayonnaise or yogurt (and dairy products in general) MUST BE KEEPED IN THE REFRIGERATOR. So, the price-performance ratio isn't very good. I would come back just for the manakish 😊

Of my favorite Lebanese place in Berlin

Wenn man Öl und Bratfett nach Hause bestellt bekommen möchte ist das eine gute Adresse. Die zwei Gerichte, wovon eins nach gesendet werden musste, für etwa 30€ wurden vermutlich am Tage zuvor bereits gemacht und bis zur Lieferung im Öl liegen gelassen. Schöne Enttäuschung für nen Cheatday. Das Öl hätte allerdings für 3 solcher Tage gereicht. Nicht nochmal

Sehr leckeres arabisches Essen. Für jeden was dabei. Aufjedenfall empfehle ich dieses Lokal weiter.

Super lecker kann ich empfehlen

Ordered for delivery through food panda. Been to the azzam on sonnenallee before and always enjoyed the food and portions you get. Paid 4 euros for a falafel and to honest I wouldnt pay more than 1.50 for it. Same for the shawarma which cost 4.50 but was more like a 1.50e wrap from libanon falafel. Foods ok but really not worth the money given the options close by.

Freundlich Gutes Essen !! Preiswert

We took the family platter + Tabouleh + Babaghanoush and it was such a great experience. Everything was freshly made. They even said 'We ran out of Tabouleh, but we can make new one if you want'. The spicy sauce was perfect. I can't even believe we could finish everything. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is really friendly. You should give it a try!

Food is cheap but not really tasty.

Ich kenne Azzam von der Sonnenallee. Da ich vermutete, dass das eine Filiale ist sind wir hin. Leider war ich enttäuscht. Die Qualität war relativ schlecht. Wenig essen altes Brot und nicht alle Zutaten wie sonst! Wie shade!
