Union Table and Tap in Aschaffenburg

Simply my favourite restaurant in Aschaffenburg! Starting from the international atmosphere (sitting at the bar is a vibe), thousands of beers (you can also do beer tasting), staff is super nice (a family business). Now, I have to mention the food, the spices are incredible mixed and everything you order tastes amazing! They have a weekly menu with special dishes and today I had the best Ramen I ever tasted. I can also recommend the shrimp tacos and the burritos, but honestly I would just close my eyes and try anything from the menu, it’s always a delicious surprise!

A wonderful first experience! This was our first time at this restaurant and we were absolutely thrilled! We received a warm welcome as soon as we entered and immediately felt at home. The atmosphere is both cozy and stylish. The food was an absolute highlight – fresh, creatively presented, and delicious. The service was also first-class: attentive, friendly, and with a smile. An all-around successful evening! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for this wonderful culinary experience!

We had dinner at Union yesterday. Starter: shrimp tacos Main courses: Southern Fried Chicken & Chicken Parma with hot honey. It's hard to say which impressed us more. The different flavors and ingredients of the shrimp tacos have everything that makes a perfect appetizer. The main courses were a delight. I would particularly like to highlight the southern fried chicken with waffles. An unusual but still very convincing combination of hearty and sweet. You have to try it! For me personally a 10/10. Service as always impeccable and courteous. In my opinion by far the best restaurant in Aschaffenburg. PS: If you like to drink a cocktail, you should definitely try the dark & ​​stormy. This was the best drink I've had in a long time! We'll be back.

Lots of different beers, delicious food

That was the most disgusting experience ever. Unidentifiable flesh and cartilage spoil the experience. We wanted to have a nice evening for the two of us...unfortunately it ended with nausea, a more than just queasy stomach and a feeling of dimness. If I could, I would prefer to give ZERO stars. The waitresses were nice, which is why we didn't make a big deal, but just pointed out the inconvenience, but unfortunately there was no response from the restaurant. Frankly a disgrace, especially given the price. If you walk through Aschaffenburg hungry and this is the only restaurant open, you should still give it a wide berth and stay hungry until the next morning.

Excellent food and delicious beers. Five of us were there for a few weeks without a reservation, it was bumpy at the beginning but then we got a table. The waitress had her first day...but everything was done with confidence 🤗

I can only recommend this restaurant as the range of dishes is very diverse and changes seasonally. There is also a fine selection of drinks. The ambience is inviting and stylish. In terms of price, I would classify this place as a bit upmarket, but in my opinion a visit is definitely worth every cent.

Always excellent food, the daily menu always offers new dishes that you haven't had before. Imaginatively and perfectly prepared by the boss himself. We have never been disappointed here. Service was friendly and, like everywhere else, even friendlier if you come here regularly. Reservations are strongly recommended, especially with several people. Nice outdoor area in summer.

If you like beer, you have a very large selection there. Otherwise, great value for money. Interior very good. Were received very politely. Unfortunately, in the past it wasn't so easy to get through by phone. I gave it up at some point. Don't know what it looks like now. This time we reserved the table online.

Came in the restaurant to try some beers in this little town, surprisingly the recommended drinks by the service crew is good. This drink is suits those want to try beer in lower alcohol level. It had little of the beer kick ends with fruity flavour

Spent a great evening here with colleagues. With a delicious selection of starters for every taste and a great main course (Chicken Parma & Hot Honey). The friendly and attentive service staff took great care of us. I'd love to come back.

Food was good, but not outstanding. The price-performance ratio is a bit high. Otherwise nice location with a good, special beer selection.

All in all quite good. The landlady was a bit too bossy for my taste and the anchovies a bit too soggy and expensive. There were larger and crispier portions for the money in hotter locations. But the drinks were great. Large selection of very good quality draft and bottled beers that are worth the money.

Es hat sich nichts gegenüber meinen früheren Besuchen geändert: Variantenreiches, qualitativ hochwertiges Essen und eine gute Bierauswahl (Craftbiere national und international) und nettes Ambiente, allerdings auch zu gehobenen Preisen. Mit einer Hauptspeise und zwei Bieren ist man mit gut €30 dabei. Bei mir wieder Mal Fish and Chips, weil man das sonst nirgendwo bekommt. Beinahe authentisch britisch, inklusive Mushy Peas. ;) Fast immer ausgebucht, am Sonntag auch schon am Nachmittag alles reserviert, deshalb: Für mehr als eine Person unbedingt reservieren.

I love coming to Union Table and Tap anytime I'm in AB. The owners are so nice, and they pour their heart and soul into every dish. There is so much thought put into the menu and preparation. Among all the fantastic restaurants in this area I still can't break the habit of ending up here. Don't make the mistake of missing it!

We were there on Saturday evening, of course there was a lot going on. Staff a bit overwhelmed. Ambience good. Food delicious. Large selection of beers also on tap.

By far the best restaurant in town. Fusion cuisine with excellent quality. Romana and Troy take their guests on a culinary journey. Among other things, the chicken sandwich is a short break. Plus a beer from Hawaii and finally a hot brownie with ice cream. Perfect. Life is Beautiful.

I once gave the Union 5 stars, but there were two of us there and the burger buns were just stale and didn't taste good at all! And especially the buns, even if they are made by a baker, shouldn't be like that!! And we were in New York just two weeks ago! There wouldn't be anything like that or it would already be bankrupt!!! It's a shame, otherwise it was always great. But the criticism wasn't really taken into account either; it was just justified, which I don't think is okay either!

Nice service, but the price-performance ratio hasn't been right for a while. The tempura fish with gnocchi won't fill you up even if you're slightly hungry, and it costs over €20. A corresponding comment about the service was simply laughed away. Even the traditional burgers taste good, but are prepared without love. It used to be better. You throw extra fries on it to justify the price. We've been there many times, but won't be going back in the future, especially since we have to leave our dog at home while the boss's friends' four-legged friends apparently have access. All in all, far too expensive for what you get (e.g. non-alcoholic gin and tonic €13!). You can find better things in the area.

An absolute great find. We ordered the Shrimp Tacos and Crispy Beef Strips as starters, the flavours and portion sizes were amazing. Next the main, BBQ Ribs with corn on the cob and Mac n Cheese, the ribs were cooked perfect and the meat was delicious. The other main was a chef special, Fish on rice with a Thai Green sauce, also fantastic, the flavours just bursting out. On a side note, there was a 3 beer taster option, 100ml per beer and allows you to try many of them.....3x3 of them later, I really enjoyed this option. I would say the prices were good for the portion sizes and the food

Hi everyone, seven of us had dinner today and it was just really good. Visited you for the first time today. We immediately felt comfortable. The children were also excited. If you are ever in Aschaffenburg Germany you'd be doing yourself a favor by stopping in at Union Table & Tap! Husband and wife duo that makes for a GREAT atmosphere and AMAZING food! Make sure you check out the specials. Also, learn from my mistake...make sure you eat everything on your plate! The first few times I was there I didn't try everything that was on my plate. I ordered the steak and there is an amazing compound butter that I didn't try the previous times....eat everything!!! It's a must if you're in Aschaffenburg!

The food is good. The prices are high, but the portions are small. Unfortunately, we have now experienced a very bad mood from the service several times. Same again today. You have the feeling that you are disturbing people with your mere presence as a customer. That was too much and we won't leave any more money there.

hallo wenn ich könnte würde ich 0 sterne geben, die ältere blonde bedienung war total unfreundlich und unzuvorkommmend, sie hat uns behandelt wie kinder die einmal einen trinken wollen, trotz korrektem verhalten. dies ist sehr unverschämt, da wir durchaus höflich waren. die cocktails sind auch sehr unverhältnismäßig gemischt, dass hochversprochene bier hat auch sehr schlecht geschmeckt. MfG

Hier gibt es geisteskrank gutes Essen, der Service ist super flott, professionell und aufmerksam und die Bierauswahl muss aus dem Paradies stammen. Zusätzlich wurden wir beim Verlassen des Restaurants ausnahmslos von allen Angestellten vor Ort unglaublich herzlich verabschiedet, an denen wir vorbeigelaufen sind. Es hat sich so angefühlt, als hätten wir an diesem Abend ein paar Freunde dazu gewonnen. Kann’s kaum erwarten, wieder vorbeizuschauen. Der Weg ins Union lohnt sich. 10/10, would recommend.

Gemütliches Restaurant wo vor allem auf Burger ausgerichtet ist. Preis mit Pommes 18,90 Portionen könnten größer sein. Getränke sind teuer. Das billigste Bier 4,80. Bio Weizen 5,10. Spezial Biere liegen um die 7.- Personal sind sehr nett.

Eine Mega Bier Auswahl, frische leckere Burger, super gute Süsskartoffelpommes. Der Service schnell und zuvorkommend. Mega freundlich. Immer gerne wieder

Ich würde es zunächst mal als urige Kneipe oder Restaurant bezeichnen. 100 Biere stehen zur Auswahl, die allerdings auch ihren Preis haben. Aber da findet jeder was für seinen Geschmack. Das auf jeden Fall sehr lecker, Die verschiedenen Burger oder auch das Pulled Pork. Auch die Vorspeisen sind empfehlenswert. Mein Nachtisch war das Chocolate Bier, kann ich persönlich auch nur empfehlen. Wenn dir die Rezension gefällt oder geholfen hat, hinterlasse bitte ein Like dafür. Danke

Hier sollte man reservieren. Das Essen ist sehr zügig gekommen. Leider mussten wir dann doch lange auf unsere Getränke warten. Geschmacklich war es ok aber nichts besonderes. Das Preisleistungsverhältniss passt nicht ganz. Es wäre schön wenn die Servicekräfte auch ein Lächeln auf den Lippen hätten 😉

I’m American and let me tell you, there is not one single place I could think of from USA that beats this place. The food was incredibly delicious. Me and my friend loved it. If I ever come back to Aschaffenburg I’ll definitely visit again!

Weltklasse selbstgemachte Burger für alle Geschmacksrichtungen. Auch der Rest der Speisekarte ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Gestern kurzentschlossen vorm Kino noch was essen gehen..... Ohne Reservierung um 18 Uhr hat man uns netterweise ein Plätzchen für 2 zugewiesen, mit dem Hinweis, dass der Tisch später gebraucht wird. Um 19.30.... wir: an uns liegt es nicht 😆 Wir bekamen von der Bedienung, die freundlich, zuvorkommend und wortgewandt war eine Bierberatung. Entschieden uns dann für ein Beer flight mit noch einem zusätzlichen Restchen aus dem Fass. Das Essen war nach 20 min da und was soll ich sagen. Köstlich. Burrito mit gegrilltem Roastbeef und Reisfüllung, dazu ein taufrisch gemischter Salat mit leckerstem Dressing. Mein Begleiter hatte den Texmex Burger. Mega Qualität wie in der Karte beschrieben. Frisches Fleisch und Bun vom Bäcker. Rein informativ haben wir noch die Dessertkarte gesehen, uns dann aber für weitere Kalorien im Kino entschieden. Espresso von Kaffee Braun war auch klasse. Bitte mehr von Personal, welches Spaß bei der Arbeit hat, Köche, die ihr Handwerk verstehen und Zutaten, bei denen es eine Freude ist, sie zu konsumieren. Dann entschädigt das alles für einen etwas höheren Preis. 5sterne plus 😍

This has been a favorite place to eat while I am visiting on business. This was my 3rd time visiting Aschaffenburg and have made it a point to eat here every time. The food is awesome. Very creative and always well prepared. It has a nice balance of offering traditional German fare plus many other variations from all around the world. The scope of their menu is impressive. They also have snuck in the best burger in Germany. Troy is always pushing the menu in creative and tasty ways by offering specials above the normal menu. He and his wife are very friendly. Last time we ate there we had a nice conversation with them about their extensive travels and experience in the dining and hospitality services.

Mein Freund und ich wollten dort spontan Abendessen gehen. Als wir angekommen sind kam eine ältere Kellnerin mit kurzen braunen Haaren auf uns zu. Als ich nur gefragt habe “haben sie noch einen…” wurde ich sofort von ihr unterbrochen und antwortete frech mit “nein!”. Geht einfach meiner Meinung nach überhaupt nicht potenzielle Kunden nicht aussprechen zu lassen! Dort werde ich nicht essen gehen und auch niemanden weiterempfehlen! Sehr schade!

Leider war es sehr voll (Freitag Abend) dadurch waren die Bedienungen sehr gestresst. ABER haben trotzdem versucht alles möglich zu machen und auf Wünsche einzugehen! Essen war super lecker! Besonders die Ingwer Kokus Suppe! Das Flat bread ähnelt einer Pinsa. Die Burger sahen auch sehr lecker aus! Ein Ort für jeden Bierliebhaber 😍🍻

Wir waren mit unsere Tochter (2 Jahre) dort und es war einfach super. Super freundliche Bedienung, uns wurde für die kleine was zum malen und als „Nachtisch“ Gummibärchen gebracht. Getränke und essen kamen super schnell (es war auch nicht sehr viel los). Wir hatten einen Burger und Pulled Lachs, beides sehr sehr lecker aber den Lachs würde ich nur empfehlen wenn man asiatische Gerichte mag. Kommen sehr gern wieder!

Gastfreundschaft wird hier wirklich sehr klein geschrieben. Ich bin nicht empfindlich, aber mein Essen war wirklich unglaublich versalzen und ungenießbar. Auf meine Reklamation hin durfte ich ein anderes Gericht bestellen und dieses war okay. Auf der Rechnung standen alle Gerichte mit der Aussage, der Chef fand es gut. Nie, wirklich nie würde ich einen Gast soetwas in der heutigen Zeit antun. Ich habe mir diesen Abend mit meinem Mann nach langer Zeit gegönnt und ich werde in Zukunft lieber zu Hause kochen. Ich wurde ganz selbverständlich gefragt, was ich denn gerne stattdessen essen möchte, hätte ich doch nur gewusst, dass es zusätzlich auf meiner Rechnung erscheinen wird. Ich bin traurig, enttäuscht und wir werden nie wieder hier essen. Für dieses Geld kaufe ich lieber meiner Tochter etwas schönes. Danke für den verdorbenen Abend!!!

Zweiter Besuch im "Union Table and Tap". Dieses Mal wollte ich keinen Burger, sondern bestellte "Fish & Chips" (€ 19,95). Wie nah kommt die unterfränkische Kopie dem Original? Ziemlich nah. Es gibt sogar Mushy Peas dazu, die außerhalb Englands eigentlich niemand essen will. Hier waren sie nicht schlecht, sogar mit Geschmack. Die Fisch-Portion war recht großzügig bemessen, nur leider nicht so knusprig wie das Original, sondern mit weicher Panade. Dafür waren die Pommes crunchiger als - zu oft - im Vereinigten Königreich. Die Tartarsauce hatte ebenfalls einen guten Geschmack. Also ingesamt mehr als ordentlich, aber auch teuer. Dazu erst ein großes Helles und dann das Bier Tasting Board mit drei Mal 0,1l Fassbier für €6,90. Gute Sache, um die Craftbiere erst einmal kennenzulernen. In dem um halb sechs bereits gut gefüllten Laden tranken jedoch fast alle das normal eingepreiste heimische Bier. Bei den Craftbierpreisen für 0,3l leider kein Wunder, und der Franke kennt eh nur Helles und Hefeweizen. Erstrezension: Schönes Restaurant mit großer Craftbierauswahl im Herzen Aschaffenburgs. Professionell freundliche, kompetente Bedienung, und mein BBQ Bacon Burger mit Pommes war ausgezeichnet, kaum noch unfallfrei auf der Hand zu essen (Besteck gibt's dazu). Wie gewünscht medium, also innen rosa. Saftig und lecker. Pommes und Bun knusprig. Der Preis (€18,90) ist recht hoch, aber durch die Qualität gerechtfertigt. Die Preise für Craftbiere aus dem In- und Ausland sind allerdings teilweise grenzwertig, dafür gibt es Biere wie Sierra Nevada IPA oder Crew Republic Drunken Sailor auch von FASS! Das sieht man ganz selten, und schon gar nicht in Unterfranken. €7,10 aufwärts für 0,3l sind gepfeffert. Normal eingepreiste, gehobene Biere aus der Umgebung findet man aber auch (0,5l für €4,80, z.B. Schwind naturtrüb hopfig). Daneben noch zahlreiche Craftbiere aus der Flasche, hier kann man sich pleite trinken. ;) - Nettes Ambiente mit stabilen Bänken draußen, teilweise überdacht bzw. mit Schirmen. Nach Öffnung um 17 Uhr füllte sich die Terrasse schnell, fast alle bestellten Burger. Es gibt aber auch Gerichte wie Pulled Lachs, diverse Nudelgerichte, etc. Hier findet jeder was. Kann man sehr gut mal machen, aber eben nicht jeden Tag.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5 Sterne) Ich habe eine fantastische Erfahrung mit der internationalen Küche in diesem Restaurant gemacht. Die Vielfalt der Gerichte ist beeindruckend und jedes einzelne davon war köstlich. Die Qualität der verwendeten Produkte ist außergewöhnlich hoch, was sich in jedem Bissen widerspiegelt. Der Service war überaus freundlich und äußerst schnell. Es ist erfrischend, in einem Restaurant zu sein, in dem das Personal so aufmerksam und effizient ist. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die umfangreiche Auswahl an Bieren, insbesondere für Liebhaber von Craft Beer. Die Auswahl ist wirklich empfehlenswert und bietet eine großartige Ergänzung zu den bereits exquisiten Speisen. Alles in allem bin ich begeistert von meiner Erfahrung hier. Die Kombination aus delikater internationaler Küche, erstklassiger Produktqualität, freundlichem Service und einer herausragenden Bierauswahl macht dieses Restaurant zu einem echten Juwel. Ich freue mich darauf, bald wiederzukommen und weitere kulinarische Entdeckungen zu machen.

Sehr sehr lecker. Eine große Bierauswahl

Sehr lecker gegessen und es gibt eine phänomenale Bierauswahl. Sehr interessante und außergewöhnliche Speisekarte!

Als Gast in Aschaffenburg mit ortsansässiger Familie dort gegessen und ich bin total begeistert: Das Restaurant macht einen modernen, sauberen und einladenden Eindruck! Der Service ist super: Alle sind freundlich und es herrscht eine harmonische Atmosphäre. Ganz besonders bin ich von der Auswahl an Biersorten begeistert. Es gibt auch einige regionale Biere. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, sich 3 Biere a 0,1 l vom Fass zu bestellen, um zu probieren. Bestellt haben wir 3 verschiedene Vorspeisen und Hauptspeisen. Darauf mussten wir auch nicht lang warten. Das Essen ist frisch und optisch ein echter Hingucker. Alles, was ich probiert habe, war sehr lecker. Ich kann das Union wärmstens empfehlen und habe nichts auszusetzen. Ich empfehle Gästen aber, den Tisch zu reservieren, da das Union (so habe ich das wahrgenommen) ein sehr beliebtes Restaurant in Aschaffenburg ist. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder!

Klasse Bierauswahl, auch an Alkoholfreien. Abwechslungsreich, immer mal wieder wechselnde Speisen. Sehr lecker und aromatisch. Mir fehlt nur manchmal eine Portion Gemüse. Ich bestelle deswegen einen Salat zusätzlich. Und ich trauere ein wenig der Fischsuppe hinterher (wurde von der Speisekarte genommen vor einer gewissen Zeit). Die war äußerst lecker.

War zum ersten Mal hier zu Besuch und bestellte eine Homemade Himbeere-Limonade und Fish and Chips. Die Limo war ein wenig zu süß aber im gesamten erfrischend. Die Fish and Chips: die beiden parlierten Fischfilets waren außen knusprig und innen saftig - absolut empfehlenswert. Die Pommes waren durchschnittlich. Die Saucen sehr gut abgestimmt. Als „Absacker“ habe ich noch ein Radler getrunken. Sehr belebter Spot im Herzen Aschaffenburges. Der Service war ein wenig gestresst ist aber in Ordnung
