Umut Döner & Pizza Haus in Karlsruhe

We thought the food was absolutely delicious. We often go to Umut's.

Not recommended for vegetarians unless you're willing to pay €8.50 for a salad in bread. No falafel or halumi.

Dead kebab tastes really dry and bad

Please be careful at this kebab shop! 4 friends and I got a Yufka 2 days ago. All 4 people then had stomach pains and had to vomit. There's something wrong with the meat.

Today I picked up a kebab in a flatbread to take away at home and noticed that the gentleman had put a lot of lettuce in the kebab to distract from how little meat there was in it. There was almost no meat in the kebab !! outrageous, I really should have started again and made the kebab like that How he was supposed to give it back, that's audacious, all my friends were horrified

At umut I probably ate the best kebab not only are the culinary offerings good but also. The huge selection ranges from Nutella yufka to baklava, but what has to be praised most is the hygiene in the store because. Employees always wash their hands after using the toilet

I got a yufka today. Never or rarely have I been so disappointed 😞 it didn't taste good at all The lettuce was already brown and the red cabbage just tasted bitter and old. In general, there is far too little for 8 euros You get the feeling of being ripped off here No recommendations

My home kebab! Fast, uncomplicated and delicious!

Umut's wife always washes her hands and is very friendly. Umut herself has a great kebab and the pizza was improved with a mysterious lump

Solid kebab, enough meat and vegetables. The bread was heavenly, juicy and fluffy, not dry at all - great! Only the sauce is very bland and there was too much, so a lot got on my hands. Please adjust the quantity here and I will be satisfied. Nice operator and friendly. I don't know what some people expect from a takeaway/quick service restaurant, but you simply can't expect service like an a la carte restaurant. We were completely satisfied.

Incredibly only iceberg lettuce, onions and 3 tomatoes in the Yufka. The meat wasn't even cooked through. There is also red cabbage and white cabbage in the Yufka. Simply dumped. Basically you German. I'll never go there again. It's good that I can visit good Yufka stores and I'm happy to pay €8 there, even if I have to drive further. A no go for this Turkish 'Ressurant'. 👎👎👎👎

Very expensive, little choice and dry kebab.

The really expensive falafel bag and the kebab (€8 each) were very bland in taste, there is only one sauce (tasteless yogurt sauce with or without garlic) and the falafel were dry. The only thing that scored points was the homemade bread. Even the vegetables were tasteless. I wouldn't recommend the kebab...

The simple kebab shop is, Once and again, expired sauce, Dry meat full of salt, Very expensive in terms of price 8 € just to throw away for a short time😡🤮🤢😡

There was one decision after another I ordered my Yufka one onion and without tomatoes and it came with onions and with tomatoes. They are also unfriendly A bitter decision

Very tasty kebabs and yufkas. The pizzas are also very tasty 😋

8 euros for such a mediocre kebab is completely excessive.

edit: jetzt 8€ :) Schade, habe hier immer gerne Yufka gegessen. Hat auch gut geschmeckt. Nur mittlerweile 7€ zahle ich nicht, egal wie hoch die Inflation gerade ist. Das gilt auch für die anderen Dönerläden im direkten Umkreis :).

War unzufrieden mit der Hygiene und auch mit der Freundlichkeit. editiert nach Antwort des Ladens: Es wurden keine Hände gewaschen. Das Geld wurde kassiert und danach wurde der Yufka gerollt. Das Fleisch war bereits heruntergeschnitten und nicht frisch vom Spieß. Ich habe das Fleisch auch nicht gut vertragen. Die Bedienung war launisch.

It's a good Döner Store.. but the pizza could be better.

Eigentlich 5 Sterne aber alles ist teurer geworden früher hat döner und yufka 5:50€gekostet heute aber kostet der döner 7:50€ sonst sehr lecker würde ich empfehlen und pommes 4€ das ist echt teuer aber sonst gibt's sehr leckere 😋 sachen 😁

Restaurant leer. Große Portion Pommes bestellt und nach 3 Minuten fertig. Pommes innen leider matschig

7€ für einen Döner bin ich einfach nicht gewohnt. Bei uns kostet der teuerste 6.50€ in der selben größe. Man steht alleine am Verkaufsfenster und wird erst Mal 10 Minuten ignoriert, obwohl ständige einer durch den Läden läuft. Ich würde nicht wieder hin gehen. Aber das ist nur meine Meinung

Teig beim Yufka ganz frisch, Fleisch etwas knapp. Ist gut - geht besser.

Super lecker und sehr große Portionen.

Lezzet durağı ve nefis pizza,döner ve beyaz peynir ve ıspanaklı pidesiyle kaliteyi tutturmuş. Güleryüzü ve yardımseverlik ile herr ve frau Dalkaya çevrede tanınan bir kişiliktir. Hyjen ve temiz bir yedeir.

Meiner Meinung nach der beste Döner in Durlach. Leider ein Stern Abzug, da ich selbst für Karlsruher Verhältnisse, 5,50€ etwas überteuert finde.

Il pane del doner è buono e molto abbondante ma il panino risulta poco saporito e la carne è di scarsa qualità. Patatine fritte male. Inoltre prezzi alti rispetto alla qualità offerta, 5,5€ il doner e 3,5 per un pugnetto di patate.

der beste Döner in Städle... vor allem mit Geflügelfleisch ein Traum. Seid Jahre holen wir, nachdem andere gnadenlos durchgefallen sind, nur noch hier unseren Döner.

Der Döner-Teller war gut und reichlich. Man kann zwischen Pommes und Bulgur als Beilage wählen. Auch beim Fleisch hat man die Wahl zwischen Rind und Huhn. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Lediglich das Ambiente könnte verbessert werden. Auf meinem Tisch fanden sich z.B. Radiergummireste. Für einen Imbiss aber noch o.k.

Die Döner sind frisch, gute Ware, Nette Bedienung, allenfalls das Ambiente ist etwas sehr 'Plastik'.

Umut has been available in Durlach for many years, and i have eaten there several times. Even though i'm not aware that it is particularly remarkable in any way, you can always rely on getting tasty food of decent quality. The seating area is quite large for a Turkish fast food shop, and due to the large windows, it's always brightly lit and friendly. Besides, it's newly renovated. Service is always friendly and quick. Some prices are slightly above average; for example, i paid 5 Euros for Yufka Falafel. But many other prices are quite normal.
