Super delicious ramen, friendly staff: )

Truly delicious, from the broth to every single ingredient, especially the chicken and pork belly. Service was also excellent and very fast, and the decor and atmosphere were great. We'll be back!

BEST RAMEN I’VE EVER TRIED IN MI WHOLE LIFE, I ALMOST CRIED. It does deserve the name “umami” it’s for sure a great comfort food, I really thank the chef for this masterpiece (tonkotsu ramen is the bestt)

The atmosphere is good, but the queue is very long. It was Sunday when I went there, and many restaurants were closed, but there was a long queue in front of this store. We also queued out of curiosity, and later we ate the ramen and found that it tasted really good! The atmosphere in the store is also very good, with a Japanese style.

The chicken ramen with fried chicken was delicious, and the prices are reasonable. The place is rather small, with close seating, so it's not ideal for long conversations, first dates, or eating with children. But for a quick, good meal in the middle of the city, it's just right. I can imagine going back, even though there are definitely more authentic Japanese restaurants.

The ramen was amazing, the broths really exquisite. But the yakitori was a real surprise, the most tender skewered chicken I've ever had, the kids loved it.

Very tasty food and good music that isn't too loud. The ventilation isn't great. Service is good. I'd be happy to go again.

We ordered chicken ramen and a chicken and rice bowl. Delicious. We waited in line for about 15-30 minutes before entering, and the kitchen was about to close, so it was pretty quick. The service was very friendly.

Fantastic experience. The Kara Miso Ramen was spicy and delicious, possibly one of the best bowls I've had. The service was very quick and friendly, despite being completely filled with patrons. Kimchi was on point and the gyoza slapped pretty hard. Would absolutely recommend if you're looking for some high quality ramen 👌

After traveling around Europe, I missed Japanese food and came here. I enjoyed the fried gyoza, fried chicken, and miso ramen. Also, the waiter spoke to me in Japanese for the first time in a long time, which revived both my body and mind. Thank you very much!

What a shame. Really a shame. I was looking forward to trying your restaurant. I came here hungry and ordered karaage and ramen. The food itself was delicious, too. Unfortunately, I suffered from food poisoning in bed and in the bathroom the next day. What a shame. I won't be back; my health is too important to me.

Very good ramen! I had the vegetarian spicy miso ramen which was delicious 🤤 We also ordered the vegetarian bowl and some other ramen options with meat and all the options were very good. The matcha ice cream in the end was a perfect way to end the meal :)

This place teleports you to the streets of Tokyo with the first taste of the Ramen. Everything is top and the highest quality satisfaction with food and the lovely restaurant experience. Although you might have to be in queue to get seated but completely worth the wait.

I drove to Stuttgart specifically to eat here. According to Google Maps, the restaurant closes at 10:00 a.m. and the kitchen opens at 9:30 a.m. I arrived at the restaurant at 9:10 a.m. and was turned away because they had fewer customers than usual. Even after referring me to the time information on Google, they just shook their heads and told me to find another restaurant. That was the last time I wanted to eat here.

The ramen broth is flavourful and portions are great. However, the chicken had some weird bits and felt too fatty. Tables were full when we got there and we sat one of the tables outside which was a bit cramped. The service can be a little slow but it is understandable considering the busyness. Apart from these it is worth visiting. 👍

The ingredients are fresh, the noodles have the perfect bite, and every bowl is a true taste experience. Yes, the line is often long, but the wait is worth it **every time**. If you love authentic, flavorful ramen, you can't miss this place!

A very pleasant surprise at Unamido in Stuttgart. When we arrived, we were a little hesitant seeing the line outside, but in the end, everything went very quickly: the organization is top-notch. Special mention goes to the service, which is truly efficient. The waitress who looked after us was extremely dynamic and at the same time super cheerful; we felt she handled everything with energy and good humor. The food was a delight. The ramen was truly delicious, with a rich and aromatic broth. A personal downside: I would have liked a little more variety in the vegetables. The corn made it a bit too industrial for my taste, but that's a minor detail. We also tried the karaagé, crispy and well-seasoned, very successful. An excellent place for quick, tasty ramen, served with a smile.

Absolutely the best in town. Very authentic stuff and the prices are great. I always have the Chicken Tan Tan Men soup and its sooo good! Gotta be there as soon as they open for lunch because they fill up quite quickly.

Why did you come all the way to Germany to eat ramen? But it's delicious...

Food is alright. Service is middle. Atmosphere is 1 because the whole restaurant is filled with small flies that are bothering you while you are eating. They even lay on your plates. For me personally it’s disgusting and unacceptable. 🤮 If it was in some shitty area and the prices were cheap, I guess that would be acceptable. But it’s city centre and we payed 50 euros for our 2 people dinner. P.s. I wrote the text above right after a visit. Now it’s 6 hours past and I have food poisoning from it.

By far the best ramen in Stuttgart. Incredibly intense broth and very fresh and good ingredients. Unfortunately there are a few places and therefore often very full. Plan for waiting time!

Order was recorded incorrectly. The chicken ramen was lousy - chicken pieces gristly, with tendons and fat, a really gray egg, way too much corn in the soup. It was unbelievable what bad ramen we were served!! The restaurant came highly recommended to us - what a disappointment!

Umami Ramen, Stuttgart – Tantanmen Heaven Umami Ramen is a vibe! The chicken tantanmen is spicy, creamy perfection—easily the best noodle experience in Stuttgart. The peach drink is dangerously good, and the ambience makes you feel like you’ve teleported to Tokyo. Yes, there’s a bit of a wait, but hey—legendary ramen takes time. The staff are super friendly and always smiling, giving real Japanese hospitality vibes. Go hungry, leave happy (and maybe slightly emotional).

The best ramen I've had outside of Japan.

The miso ramen soup was delicious, but the noodles were a little powdery. Anyway, what was disappointing was the rice... There was a strange smell (I visited just as the store was opening, so it should have been freshly cooked, but it might have been from the day before...), and I think it would be better to change the rice, as there are other delicious foods that aren't Japanese rice. I couldn't eat it on its own, and I couldn't even eat it with soup. It's a waste because the ramen tastes good. Tonkotsu ramen was average. (The noodles are not thin, but medium thick like miso ramen) The restaurant fills up as soon as it opens, so we recommend going when it opens. There are Japanese staff and staff who can speak Japanese, so the service is good and you can eat with peace of mind.

Small ramen restaurant in Stuttgart. Reception very friendly and service too. You sit a bit cramped either on a bench or stools. Definitely OK for young people, it's not like that for me. The family had ramen and really enjoyed it. I had the Veggie Don. This is basically very good, but it's also a huge portion of rice, which is a bit dry overall. But the tempura was very tasty.

Second visit 2025: Had again ramen #2 with pork and addition of extra spicy. Still very nice and filling and very nice also that I don't think the price changed! Followed by a nice sesame and matcha ice cream that they say it's home made. Would do the job to attenuate the spicy and perhaps could be made also as a sorbet (this one was milk, I asked). And cool angry samurai cat pillow! -- where can I get one? Original 2022: You cannot reserve a table, so I dropped by spontaneously. I ordered a vegetables Gyoza as appetizer, the Kara Miso ramen and the standard Kirin Ichiban Japanese lager. The waitress was very kind and efficient as she showed me the pictures of all the ramens to help me decide, although she couldn't describe what kind of beer the Ichiban is. The appetizer arrived very quickly and I found it very delicate and with a crunchy side. Before I could even finish it (not sure whether this was intentional) the ramen arrived. I left the last Gyoza for later but the ramen was so piping hot and I could have finished my appetizer without rush. The ramen itself was very warming and spicy enough. Every component of it was at the right level of cooking to my taste and very filling. All together, out of there in less than one hour with happy mood, belly and taste buds ;)

Very authentic Rahmen local in the heart of Stuttgart. There are several pork, chicken and vegetarian combinations. I recommend the options that have chili as they are tastier and not too spicy. I ordered the Tan Tan Men and highly recommended. Very friendly staff.

100% worth wait in the queue outside. Tasty Japanese beer, starters were also well seasoned. The main attraction was of course the ramen which is indeed VERY good. The broth was incredibly rich, well seasoned and hot! Staff were attentive and fast. The ingredients were fresh, this is definitely the best ramen in Stuttgart, without a question. I will be back, no question about it!

Unfortunately, our review was deleted ‼️ not very professional The staff was super friendly, and despite the queue, we were served within 15 minutes. The food arrived quickly, but unfortunately, the taste was not at all convincing and some of it was very bland. The rude awakening came relatively quickly: within an hour, my husband and I developed stomach aches. Shortly after, severe cramps and diarrhea. Unfortunately, that ruined our day, and we spent the entire evening on the toilet. We can't recommend it ‼️

Visit again February 26, 2025 Unfortunately we have to downgrade to 3 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟. This time we each had the chicken miso. The soup was extremely "cooked down" and completely covered up all the other products in the dish. Too bad🤔. My partner didn't eat everything. Me, yes. Although we were identical in our assessment. The service was very, very friendly. 01/29/25: After we tried several times to get a table (very long queues) it worked today. We received a very friendly welcome. The menu was already on the table. The service was there within a short time. We ordered Chicken Miso and Chicken Tan Tan Men. Each was an excellent choice😁. Both soups were very tasty. The Tan Tan Men is spicy💪, but still tolerable. We'll go back when there's no more queue 😉 and we'll give our recommendation 👍. Just try it out yourself.

My favorite ramen when in Stuttgart, especially during winter or spring. The ramen broth was perfect (not to thick nor light) the meat was perfect too!

On Sundays, you're hungry, but you don't want to have to eat burgers and pizza again, so you look at what's still open at 8 p.m. and is easily accessible, and you quickly end up here. We arrived from Remseck, which actually went quickly. At the Rathaus stop you walk for about 2 minutes and you're already there. I was surprised at how crowded it seemed for a Sunday and I was also a little afraid of how people would react to Dotty, but a waiter asked me if I wanted to go in and if I was eating alone, I agreed and Dotty and I were sitting here eating. The menu is not very big, which is good, I ordered the vegan ramen in the broth with onions without TOFU, 5 dough dumplings with soy sauce, Japanese croquettes and extra rice in a plastic cup for Dotty. The rice came first, Dotty immediately pounced on it, then the dumplings came and Dotty wanted to eat them too. Then came the croquettes, and I have to say that Japanese croquettes are much softer than ours, much more tender etc. Finally came the noodles and an extra portion which I also ordered. The broth smelled very good, the noodles were delicious, even Dotty felt like she ate a fifth of the food. The dumplings were so good that I ate them before I could take a photo... The ambience is really nothing special, but there are sturdy wooden benches and everything is well lit. so everything is fine. the staff is nice and very respectful, the lemon soda that was recommended to me was really good, I was even able to take the rice with me. In summary, I can say that you can eat well here, the portions are medium-sized, the prices are in the medium range, everyone is nice, so what more could you want?

The ramen are large and very tasty. We waited outside twice until a table was available, but it didn't take that long.

The ramen is super delicious! The staff are extremely friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant. The service is also quick and although it is always busy and the restaurant is quite small, we never had to wait longer than 15 minutes for a free table. I can only recommend it!

Food was super tasty. We had 3 starters, 1 vegetarian ramen, 1 pork belly ramen and the mochi ice cream. Also nice service and a nicely decorated shop. What more could you want?

We were there on Saturday evening. The store was very busy - all the seats outside and inside were full. We waited in line for about 15 minutes. After that everything happened quickly. The service was friendly and the food came in a timely manner. For starters we had edamame and kara-age, which I highly recommend. The chicken pieces were nice and crispy. For the main course we chose Umami Miso and Umami Kara Miso. The Kara Miso had a pleasant spiciness. Both ramens are highly recommended.

We were here right after Christmas (2024) and were lucky as we walked past a larger group was coming out and there was almost no one in line so we got a spot straight away, otherwise it's always a long one Snake in front of it. The atmosphere is dark and I find the wall decorations funny. The ramen tastes solid, although I don't understand the hype. I've had better ramen in Stuttgart What I personally didn't like was that the noodles weren't fresh (instant noodles) and the toppings were cold. The service is great, you can get bibs on request and special requests were also taken into account. There is also the delicious Japanese lemonade here

If you ever have the chance to come to this restaurant, you will find a wonderful ambience. The ramen can almost keep up with the original and certainly doesn't disappoint.

My colleague and I had an excellent meal here. We had karage as a starter. This chicken was first class. I had Tonkotsu Ramen, which was equally exquisite. The ambience complemented the food perfectly. Pleasant Japanese music with authentic decor. Lastly, the service was also flawless.

The place is always full and even during the week there is a queue outside. Due to the quick preparation of the food and the fast service, the waiting time is kept to a minimum. It's very tight in the restaurant and you can follow every conversation. It is correspondingly loud in the restaurant. The food was okay, but everyone has their preferences and mine weren't quite met. Overall recommended, but I wouldn't necessarily go there a second time.

You always have to expect to wait at least 30 minutes. There is always a queue. Unfortunately, you get the feeling that everything has to happen quickly. So it's not for sitting there for long. I am a Taiwanese who came to Germany to visit. I was not used to German food and just found this ramen shop! I ordered spicy miso ramen, dandan noodles (spicy) and tonkotsu ramen. Personally, I think the spicy miso ramen is better than the dandan noodles! A bowl of noodles costs about 10-15 euros
