Very friendly service and relaxed location in the colonnades. The food is very tasty so far, but unfortunately the salad (especially in the bowl) was very present in relation to the rest - almost overpowering. Homemade lemonade recommended.

Me and my brother went here, the staff is very nice and polite. The food was above our expectations. We ordered but it was duck, chicken and shrimp. I will post pictures. It's near Hamburg Rathaus. I recommend if you love Asian cooking. :)

Visitamos Hamburgo de nuevo. Decidimos visitar este restaurante para cenar. Era una noche muy lluviosa y no había mucha gente en las calles. Así que encontramos un buen lugar en el restaurante. El servicio fue amable y eficiente. El menú era grande, con un montón de fotos que muestran los platos que venden. Decidimos por una ensalada vietnamita y por arroz frito con carne de res. La comida estaba caliente y sabrosa. Todo estaba muy bien. La factura al final fue sorprendentemente baja, así que compensamos con una buena propina.

Great place with really good food. Sitting outside is recommended, a bit boringly located but close to water and other nice things.

A culinary journey to Vietnam I had the pleasure of visiting UKitchen Vietnamese Restaurant and I must say it was an absolutely outstanding experience. From the greeting to the last bite, everything was perfect. Here are the reasons why UKitchen deserves a 10/10 rating: Atmosphere: 10/10 As soon as I entered the restaurant I immediately felt welcome. The lighting is warm and inviting, creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Service: 10/10 The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. They were always on hand to make recommendations and ensure every need was met. Wait times were minimal, which made the entire visit even more enjoyable. Food: 10/10 The food is the highlight at UKitchen. Every dish was a flavor explosion and authentically Vietnamese. The fresh ingredients, the perfect spice combinations and the beautiful presentation made every meal a true delight. Drinks: 10/10 The drinks menu also leaves nothing to be desired. The drinks are prepared just as lovingly as the food and round off the culinary experience perfectly. Value for money: 10/10 Despite the high quality of the food and service, the prices at UKitchen are very fair. You really get excellent value for money here. Every dish and drink is absolutely worth the price. Conclusion UKitchen is more than just a restaurant - it's an experience. If you want to enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a beautiful ambience with excellent service, you should definitely visit this restaurant. UKitchen has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorite restaurants. I can only warmly recommend it and look forward to my next visit

The positive first: the food is good and tasty, not outstanding but not bad either. The service/friendliness is underground! We were there for lunch, the food came very quickly after maybe 5-8 minutes. Since the acoustics are quite strenuous, it doesn't invite you to linger for long. So we spoke little and ate at a normal pace. The first one of us had finished and she had barely put down her spoon before the plate was already cleared away. Same game the next time, even though others at the table were still eating! Very strange!! From then on, the waitress constantly sneaked around our table, asking whether we wanted to pay separately or together (even though you only pay at the exit anyway and she didn't pass on the information “separately”). When the last one was finished, we were told that we should please get up now because it was lunch time and others were waiting. When we sat there, irritated, in shock for another 5 seconds, she made wild gestures telling us to get up. We were in the store for a full 25 minutes, which seemed unreasonably long. Really terrible!!!

Very tasty food with high quality, we were able to coordinate the level of spiciness perfectly with the service staff, who are generally very friendly and accommodating. Ambience and location also great!

The two of us came by at around 5:00 p.m. without a reservation and still got a table straight away. The waitress was very friendly and was able to answer our questions about the food precisely, which made choosing from the large menu a little easier. I chose duck with peanut sauce and my companion chose chicken with a curry sauce. Both were served with rice as a side dish. The food was very, very tasty and was ready relatively quickly. We were allowed to remain seated after we paid, which meant that I remember the evening as a very relaxed and pleasant one. Highly recommended!

Delicious Vietnamese cuisine, fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned! I particularly enjoy sitting outside and watching the hustle and bustle on Jungfernstieg. The service is courteous and warm. I am looking forward to the next time! P.S. my favorite number 39 with tempura chicken 👌🏾

Unfortunately only 2 stars the boss is cool the boss doesn't work at all she spreads unrest is very strange first friendly then very rude.

A great location and the best Asian cuisine we've had in a long time. The soups in particular are highly recommended. Shopkeeper very nice and a nice atmosphere - clean and tidy. Unfortunately no toilet but otherwise wonderful

Food was very tasty and came quickly. Service seemed a bit overwhelmed. After no one showed up, we got up and paid directly at the cash register.

The restaurant is well located. I ordered the lunch menu and the food was served quickly and was fine. After eating, I wanted to enjoy my drink in peace when the waitress suddenly showed up with the bill, which surprised me. I politely explained that I hadn't finished my drink yet. It was disappointing that it was almost 3pm and the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. So there was no need to rush. I found the behavior to be rude and inappropriate.

Schneller und guter Service. Ich hatte Sommerrollen und Saté-Spieß. Die Soßen fand ich (für meinen Geschmack) etwas zu dick. Die Sommerrollen waren frisch und die Gurken-Minze-Limonade sehr lecker.

Super polite service and great service. The food is like Vietnamese. The prices for the central location are very, very cheap.

The food was pretty good and we got it quickly, but we were unlucky enough to go at 12 on a Thursday. It's supposed to open at 12pm, but we got there 5 minutes early, were the first and were served straight away. We got the food very quickly and by 12:05 p.m. the restaurant was already completely full. I was there with two friends, and as soon as the first of us finished eating, they took her plate, then mine when I was finished, and before my second friend was finished, they were hanging around, waiting for her to finish , and even asked us if we would pay together or separately. As soon as she put the fork down the waiter came to us and told us to get up and pay as there were people waiting for tables. We had only been sitting for 25 minutes at this point. She didn't ask us, just told us to leave, and even turned around in annoyance because we were taking "too long" to get up. I may order takeout in the future, but I will never eat at this restaurant again. Terrible service and just plain rude.

The food is not too bad for the price. There’s much to choose from. Alcohol prices are also okay.

The peanut sauce chicken is served with a thick sauce on top, and water from the steamed vegetables at the bottom. 4.5€ for water in a glass.

I went to Ukitchen for dinner with my wife about two days ago. The service staff wasn't exactly polite and when paying with an EC card we were advised to pay in cash. Original sound “I love cash”. That was quite surprising. However, about 2-3 hours later my wife started having quite severe stomach pains. For me it started at around 2 a.m. and we both had to vomit several times. It was food poisoning. We strongly suspect that the first dish - the prawns (with mango salad) - was the origin of the food poisoning. Even after about 2 days, we are both still struggling with upset stomachs. The health department should take a closer look at the kitchen. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not recommended at all!!

The food was okay, but nothing more. I ordered the 41 with beef, which I barely saw in my dish. Rather small meat "crumbs" in the water with lots of vegetables. And that for just under €18. The staff was also very rude. Same Vietnamese music repeating every 2 minutes cannot create a good ambience in my opinion. So I would never go there again.

Unfortunately I didn't like the food at all. It was as if it had been covered with a ready-made sauce. Very salty, like there was too much soy sauce in it or something similar. At least not seasoned. Furthermore, the homemade iced tea was far too sweet for my taste. Plates were already being cleared at our table, even though some were still eating. After the meal we were given the bill straight away without us asking for it. After we paid, a waiter came to our table and asked if we were ready. In other words, we were “polite” to max . 45 minutes in the restaurant (at lunch time). I won't go here again and can't recommend the restaurant.

Bland, expensive, questionable service! Asians are delicious everywhere else but unfortunately not this one!

The food was really not good and had the taste of a takeaway. We had the same dish twice and it was too salty and there was hardly any sauce in one dish and way too much sauce in the other dish. Very bland and salty in taste. Would never go there again. There are much better Vietnamese people in Hamburg. The store is not child friendly. They really wanted to give us a table just before the toilet corridor...of course we refused and the reasoning that everything was reserved wasn't true either, as many tables were still free by the time we left. Price/performance very bad… taste of a snack bar, but prices like a restaurant. In short… once and never again.

Small, cute restaurant in the “basement”. Right near the Jungfernstieg, this restaurant is located a few steps down from the street. The homemade lemonade is highly recommended! The main course was spicy duck, which wasn't really spicy for my taste, but I also eat spicy food. The second main course was chicken curry. Both were very, very tasty and we can only recommend them. The selection wasn't really that big, but I think there's something for everyone who likes Asian cuisine. So if you like delicious Vietnamese food, you're in good hands here!

Location is good. Is it place value or overall quality? It feels expensive compared to others. The taste is just so-so. I like that it’s open on Sundays too.

Food was oversalted and didn't really seem to be of high quality. The staff was nice but didn't know what was ordered by whom (there were only two of us with two dishes and drinks). The price is very high at €21 for duck with peanut sauce.

Wir waren unter der Woche da und das Lokal war sehr voll, dennoch haben wir spontan einen Tisch erhalten. Die Tische stehen relativ nah beieinander. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Wartezeit war kurz. Der Service war in Ordnung. Hätte nach unserem Geschmack freundlicher sein können. Als wir bezahlt hatten mussten wir direkt den Tisch verlassen und es war keine Minute mehr drin, um kurz auf Toilette zu gehen. Somit standen wir mit unseren Sachen mitten im Gang. Sollten wir nochmal hingehen, werden wir erst die Toilette aufsuchen und anschließend bezahlen.

Asiatische Küche nähe Jungfernstieg, das Lokal ist nicht barrierefrei, war gut Besuch dort unter der Woche. Essen war sehr lecker, Service gut und Ambiente gut. Etwas eng alles nah beieinander.

Schnell und unkompliziert einen Tisch erhalten. Gastgeber waren aufmerksam + Bestellungen wurden nicht nur zeitnah serviert, sondern waren super gut abgeschmeckt und heiß. Wir hatten folgendes: Cari Vang hausgemachte gelbe Kokos-Curry-Erdnussauce mit frischem Gemüse und Duftreis. Pho Suppe traditionelle vietnamesische Nudelsuppe mit einer 5-Kräuter-Brühe, Koriander, Minze und Frühlingszwiebeln. (Mit Tofu bestellt)

Wir waren vor einem Besuch in der Laeiszhalle in diesem Restaurant. Der Service war erstklassig und sehr herzlich! Das Essen war obendrauf noch spitzenmäßig! Die Karte war so vielfältig, das die Auswahl schwer viel. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Das Essen war lecker und wurde wunderschön präsentiert. Ein Punkt Abzug ergibt sich aufgrund des hektischen Personals und der Sprachbarriere, aber man erhält trotzdem alles, was man braucht :)

super nettes Lokal mit echt leckeren Speisen. Wir haben uns etwas durch die Karte probiert – alles top! Bedienung sehr sympathisch. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Die Bewertungen vom Restaurant waren sehr gut und daher waren wir dort am Samstag essen. In dem Reis war zu viel Geschmacksverstärker. Tut mir leid so kocht man nicht. Vielleicht hatte der Koch nur einen schlechten Tag, Abwerbung sieht nicht wieder .

Wir waren direkt zweimal in 4 Tagen dort, weil es so lecker war. Das Fleisch war okay-gut. Der Tofu war nicht so gut zubereitet (etwas glibberig). Der Service ist sehr freundlich und das Essen dauert nicht lange. Zwei Sterne Abzug gibt es, da die Soßen (auf Basis von Kokosmilch) bei unserem zweiten und dritten Besuch (da lag einige Zeit zwischen) zu dünn und mild waren und es uns verwehrt wurde, mit Curry oder ähnlichem nachzuwürzen. Da nur 1/3 Besuchen wirklich gut war, würden wir in Zukunft andere Restaurants vorziehen.

Leider eine riesen Enttäuschung. Von der Ente über das Gemüse bis zur Teriyka Soße war praktisch alles geschmacklos, die Ente und das Gemüse waren zudem viel zu durch. Ich habe bereits in vielen vietnamesischen Restaurants gegessen, das war bisher das Schwächste. Die Reisbandnudeln waren etwas besser, aber auch da fehlte jede Kreativität hinsichtlich Gewürzen etc. Preise sind auch hoch.

Walked around in Hamburg in pouring down rain and wanted lunch. Wanted soup so happy to find a Vietnamese restaurant and we both decided on the Pho soup. It came relatively quick and was really tasteful. Looking at what other guest had it also looked good so would recommend and come back.

Notiz an mich: Kein vietnamesisches Eiskaffee ohne vorher zu fragen… Sonst war das Essen ok aber dafür wenigstens überteuert.

Sehr zu empfehlen, für mich die beste Pho-Suppe in der Stadt! Die Suppe ist sehr umami/geschmackvoll, aber dennoch sehr leicht. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das sehr zart und leckere Rindfleisch.

Das Essen schmeckt wirklich gut, Ente war super, Soße auch. Jedoch muss ich sagen, dass es etwas teuer ist und die Portion nicht groß genug. Daher war es ok.

Sehr netter Service, super leckeres Essen. Ich war während der Woche abends dort zum Essen. Das Essen war super lecker. Die Kokosmilch Suppe war scharf, hat aber vorzüglich geschmeckt. Die Hauptspeise kam parallel zur Suppe. Das weiß ich beim nächsten Mal. Es war einfach lecker. Punktum.
