Delicious food, great service, great waiter who exuded professional calm. We sat outside and could watch the promenade. Ate the fish platter and it was damn tasty. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, the three of us didn't like the food (fish dishes) at all.

We had the fish menu of the day, very tasty and quickly prepared. The service was friendly and quick. From our table on the terrace we had a great view of the hustle and bustle on the promenade at the Alter Strom.

We were here for the Hanse Sail and ended up here by chance. We only drank something and didn't eat, but we really enjoyed it. Attentive, friendly staff, the long drinks tasted great and it's really comfortable to sit here. We can only recommend it.

After 20 minutes there was still no service at the table, even though the restaurant wasn't overly full. Then they left.

0.4 Pils for 6.20 or 6.70...guys...that's what I call a rip-off. We left again. Fortunately, there are plenty of alternatives in the immediate vicinity.

Ich bin jedes Jahr mit meiner Frau in Warnemünde und da auch am Alten Strom bei Twee Linden. Die Preise sind gehoben und eigentlich die Qualität immer gut gewesen. Doch heute wurde ich eines Besseren belehrt: als ich allein da war, war plötzlich alles anders. Der arrogant wirkende, wortarme Kellner war kurz da und dann wieder weg. Er lies sich draußen kaum sehen, da er drinnen wohl Tische bediente. Seine Kolleginnen wollten jedoch mich auch nicht bedienen und ich sollte warten bis der Kollege wieder mich bedient. Dann bestellte ich das Hamburger Schnitzel und erhielt ein vor Fett tropfendes Etwas. Hat man mit der Gabel das Schnitzel zum Zerschneiden angestochen, lief links und rechts das Fett auf den Teller heraus. Die dazu gereichten Bratkartoffeln waren ebenfalls im Fett gebaden und so knusprig, dass man sie kaum Anspiesen konnte. Ich habe das Schnitzel mir gerade so rein gequält und die Bratkartoffeln liegen lassen. Das Schnitzel war auch geschmacklos. Auf dem Tisch stand nur Salz und Zucker, Pfeffer hatte ich erbeten, jedoch kam dieser nicht. Nachdem ich dann etwa 20 Minuten vor meinem halbvollen Teller saß, kam wieder eine Kellnerin zum Abräumen. Ich monierte das Schnitzel und die Bratkartoffeln und sie entschuldigte sich und wollte in der Küche und im Service Bescheid geben. Eine weitere Reaktion kam nicht. Nach weiteren 20 Minuten kam der Kellner mal wieder vorbei und ich bat um die Rechnung. Er hat sie mir wortlos überreicht, keinen Nachlass, keine kleine Widergutmachung, keine Entschuldigung - nichts. Ich komme nun nicht mehr wieder...

A very nice little restaurant with an outside area, we sat outside and enjoyed the wonderful view of the ships. The staff was very friendly, elegant and flexible when it came to putting together the food. Everything was explained to us very well when we brought our food which fish was which. Our food was damn tasty. A very successful day

Great restaurant, good location if you want to watch the hustle and bustle up close

We were regular guests here, but the store won't see us again. We were there at the beginning of May and were looking forward to our obligatory visit. But this joy was very disappointed, initially as usual, a bit of a wait for a free table is normal. Then came the comment that if we want something to eat, we should hurry up because the table was reserved from 7 p.m. So we had 1 1/4 hours, which was okay for us. We ordered our drinks without looking at the drinks menu, we should have done better. A glass of still water = 0.5l = 5 euros and 1 non-alcoholic wheat beer 6.80 euros. Then comes the top banger, schnitzel, boiled potatoes and 300g of asparagus with a hint of hollandaise sauce 26.50, but since I don't like potatoes, I wanted fries, which makes 1.50 more. So we're talking about a schnitzel that came out of the deep fryer, 300g of asparagus with hollandaise sauce and fries for 28.00 euros. Sorry dear operator, these prices are not justified by the increase in VAT. My wife's fried plaice was well-done and dry. In the past, instead of this strange sauce that tasted and looked more like roux, there was a mustard cream. The raw vegetable side dish wasn't worth mentioning, something out of the bucket, delivered ready-made by the wholesaler. The service was friendly as always. All in all we paid 65.90 and for us it was the last time we threw our MONEY down this restaurant's throat. It's a shame that it's actually a tradition to stop here about 4-5 times a year when we're in Warnemünde.

We are canceling this vacation in Twee Linden immediately. Apart from that, we don't want to have to keep staring at the wall of the house opposite, which blocks out the light at a distance of just one meter. A feeling like being in prison. The little room is a joke. Was shown well in the picture! The worst thing is the musty smell. We don’t want to have to continue breathing in mold spores. Our health is important to us. So we leave this place as quickly as possible. The price for this accommodation is outrageously high.

It's been a while, but I just now noticed that my comment wasn't published. Very strange, maybe the owners didn't like it. So here's the 2nd attempt: "Would like to leave a review if I was let in. I had already called a few hours in advance and was told that there would be no problem for one person around 5-5:30 p.m. and that I could be accommodated at a table. When I arrived at 4:50 p.m. it said: we are fully booked. But there were a lot of free tables in the back area, all of which were supposedly reserved. And the waiter said several times that he was alone and couldn't do anything. What I find very strange, however, is that the couple who came after me apparently received different information. Because first she went in and then after a short while she waved her husband in. It's strange when the poor waiter was alone, but he handled the two of us as one person. It also takes less work. 🤔 In any case, people here try to earn as much as possible. 2 people just bring in more money. 🥴 Conclusion: As a single you have the A.card.😡"

Super happy with the service, ambience and the food, really cheap for the location. I'd love to come back there

The Twee Linden is clearly recommended to those visitors to Warnemünde who are looking for an excellent fish restaurant. In terms of price, of course in the segment of upscale, tourist-appealing gastronomy, the Twee Linden impresses with its very good service, delicious food and cozy ambience. My recommendation: the Warnemünder fish platter and a Staropramen Dark Lager from a half-liter bottle. Bon appetit!

Nice to sit on the terrace but the service is not attentive. The boiled potatoes with the fish taste like a cheap convenience food, not even tossed in butter to give them a bit of flavor. They are just about to fall apart and have no potato taste. The white wine sauce was too spicy and too viscous. The fish was okay. Too many bones on the fish platter. Price performance is quite expensive for what is offered.

It was a new experience for us. We've never had salmon au four before, it was just great. Staff very nice, thank you.

We came to this inn by chance and it was a very pleasant stay. The food was very good. The pricing has already increased. For a small beer 0.3L €5.10, 0.4L €6.20 is a blast. Not even hotel restaurants take this.

Fish platter was delicious, €26.50 quite nice, drinks were overly expensive, 0.4l beer for €6.20. Often that doesn't work.

The three of us were just eating with a child...everything was ok until the drinks came...the waitress Franzi wanted to put the drinks down as it says on the receipt and it happened that the alcohol + glass landed on my child and that was the only saying Oh, that hasn't happened to me in a long time...it's all human, but cleaning up afterwards and wiping the table was a bit ignored and a kitchen roll was left on the table and not taken away again!!!Child soaking wet, no real excuse and also sometimes no ice cream to make up for it or something like that, well that's what I call service!!!!!!

Habe vor Jahren dort immer gut gegessen. Leider war der letzte Besuch enttäuschend. Preise rauf, Qualität der Speisen runter. Hatten reserviert. Hätte mich über einen eingedeckten Tisch gefreut, leider Fehlanzeige. Geschmacklich waren alle Gerichte eher Imbissqualität und auch lieblos angerichtet. Die Schnitzel waren Fertigschnitzel und haben auch so geschmeckt. Als einziges hat das Würzfleisch gepunktet. Waren uns alle einig, dort zukünftig nicht mehr einzukehren. Schade.

We had pre-booked a table for 4 people. A fish soup as a starter. It was definitely not something to behold… sorry! It looked watery/milky and unfortunately had no taste. But there were a few pieces of fish fillet and herbs. A cup for €8.30 and not even lovingly prepared (with cream, for example)...👎🏻 For the main course I ordered hake with tomatoes and cheese gratin and wild rice. The fish was OK. I'm a rice fanatic and I maintain that the wild rice came from the bag. 🤷🏼‍♀️ After dessert and other drinks were ordered, the service asked: “Can I then bring the bill?” You felt compelled to leave… Only one of the ladies’ toilets was open. The second one was locked and a queue formed. Overall it was OK. But we won't come a second time!

Meine Frau bestellte sich frischen Brathering mit Bratkartoffeln.Sie wollte ihn ohne Senfsoße,geliefert Wurde mit Senfsoße,die Bratkartoffeln waren teils Verbrannt, teils ungebraten. Ich bestellte eingelegten Brathering,der hart war und Schmeckte nach Industrie.Die Bratkarffeln dito wie bei meiner Frau.Der" Salat"bestand zu 90% aus Rotkohl. NIE WIEDER. Joachim

Have been coming here for lunch for years and always fish 🐟 dishes and our grandson rice pudding with cinnamon and applesauce the food is super good 👍 and the restaurant is not that big the ambience and the service is always great. Can only be recommended.

We have enjoyed being guests in Warnemünde for many years and often stop at Twee Linden. Unfortunately, today's visit was sobering. The food was relatively tasteless and the beer was bland. Given the prices shown (0.4l beer €6.70) not a good combination! There was no music in the restaurant and the communication with the staff was cold in northern Germany! Social hospitality feels different. Even if the location and occupancy speak for themselves, a certain quality should be maintained.

A quaint restaurant, but very cozy. The average age is slightly older. The kitchen offers good German food. The service is friendly, the food is tasty and fresh.

Unter der Woche abends und außerhalb der Saison kann man hier gut Essen! Typisch nordische Gerichte und eine freundliche Bedienung garantierten einen guten Abend. She schmackhaft der Hering und das Ragout Fin.

Great restaurant and great staff

Fresh fish - and plentiful, service quick and top, with two young, attentive, friendly girls. One of the few restaurants on Alten Strom that was even open on this rainy Tuesday evening. If you are afraid of not being full, we recommend the delicious Warnemünder fish platter - or the pollock fillet au four: fish gratinated with ragout plus crispy French fries. It sounds like overkill in terms of style and calories, something even gourmands have to nibble on, but it tastes surprisingly very good. If you like something lighter and more digestible, we recommend the Florentine cod fillet - with wild rice.

Was our regular restaurant until our last visit on March 2nd, 2024. But with a price increase for zander, for example, €20.10 in December in January 25.50€ and smaller portion. Hello? It probably can't be due to VAT. And beer (0.4l!!!) from €5 to €6.50. For me that is greed at a high level. So you won't see us anymore. And there used to be no free tables between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Others probably noticed too. Oh well. Despite all this, the service was friendly as usual. So goodbye and keep raising your prices, it's definitely over for us. Crossed the border.

Wir kommen seit 17 Jahren hier her. Haben jetzt 3 Jahre ausgesetzt. Die Qualität der Speisen ist unserer Meinung nach, immer ausgezeichnet. Wir verstehen auch das der Unternehmer die Preise anheben muss. Hat er auch jedes Jahr gemacht. Immer in einem vernünftigen Rahmen. Leider müssen wir aber hier auch einmal Kritik üben. Es werden und wurden hier immer 0,4 er Biere ausgeschenkt. Aber die Preise dafür derart zu überteuern ist einfach Frech. 0,4er gezapftes Rostocker Dunkel oder auch Zwickel für 6,70€ ist einfach nicht in Ordnung. Auch die anderen Getränke haben Galoppsprünge hingelegt. Ansonsten war alles wie immer (fast, sehr wenig Gäste, woran das wohl liegt). Das Personal ist hier einfach immer Top. Allen voran Stefan. Einfach schön wieder zu kommen. Quasi wie zu Hause. Natürlich auch das Küchenteam. Einfach Klasse. Wir kommen wieder und hoffen auf Korrektur.

Quaint pub, old furnishings, guests all looked almost older, which was ok. Service was very nice. Lunch menu chosen, plaice with fried potatoes and cod with boiled potatoes and Dijon mustard sauce. Plaice was more than good. Visually and taste-wise. The cod, on the other hand, was a failure. Only the sauce and the side salad were good. Visually and in terms of consistency, the fish looked as if it had been baked more than once. Very unfortunate. Are often in Warnemünde and wanted to discover a new shop today 😞 unfortunately that wasn't a recommendation for another visit. A pity

We wanted to eat something on Friday at 8:15 p.m., unfortunately it wasn't possible here, even though it was advertised outside as "Hot food until 9 p.m." Statement from the service person: 9 p.m. is just a “guide time”. The prices in the menu are probably just “guide prices”. In the end, the restaurants in Warnemünde seem to be doing too well and money is dripping from the ceiling until 8 p.m.

Wenn wir in Warnemünde sind gehen wir gern hier zum Essen, es schmeckt immer sehr gut und auch die Bedienung ist sehr nett. Es ist angeraten vorher Plätze zu bestellen.

Wir sind nach 13:00 Uhr essen gegangen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Preise sind okay. Da wir am Fenster saßen hatten wir einen ganz tollen Blick auf den alten Strom. Ich kann diese Lokalität empfehlen.

Ich bin ja dafür das die Gastronomen auch leben sollen aber was hier praktiziert wird ist einfach nur dreist. Unter anderem kostet hier ein Rostocker Pils 0,3 l 5,10 Euro......ein Rostocker Pils!!! Macht ruhig weiter so und ihr vergrault euch noch mehr Kunden. Ich und meine Familie werden jedenfalls in Zukunft ihr Restaurant meiden und auch nicht weiterempfehlen.

Wir (Touries) waren Freitag Abend spontan dort zum essen. Es war natürlich kein Tisch mehr frei, aber wir wurden gefragt ob wir an der Bar sitzen möchten. Haben wir getan und erst einmal etwas zu trinken bestellt, was innerhalb von 2 Minuten gebracht wurde. Sobald ein Tisch frei wurde hat man uns diesen sofort angeboten. Wir haben jeweils die Fischplatte bestellt. Meine Freundin wollte weder die Senfsoße noch die Meerrettichsoße, was überhaupt kein Problem war. Der Chef (nehme ich an) hat sogar noch empfohlen stattdessen geschmolzene Butter und mehr Remoulade servieren zu können. Das Essen wurde in weniger als 10 Minuten gebracht und der Chef hat ausführlich und freundlich von sich aus erklärt welcher Fisch welcher ist. Portion und Gechmack waren absolut perfekt und wir hatten nichts auszusetzen. Es wurde auch nochmal nachgefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist. Wir hatten noch einen Apfelstrudel, der auch super und auch günstig war. Bezahlen ging auch schnell ohne ewig warten zu mussen bis jemand kommt. Wir waren einfach rundum zufrieden und wenn wir mal wieder in der Nähe sind werden wir definitiv nochmal kommen (dann aber mit Reservierung)

Unangenehmer Geruch im Restaurant

Wir waren am 27.12.2023 mal wieder im Twee Linden und es war wie immer super gut, das Essen war lecker, die Bedienung 👍 freundlich ! Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt ! Danke schön

Wir hatten eine tolle Aussicht beim Essen. Der Fisch war lecker und für Kinder gab es extra eine Karte. Sehr gerne wieder.

Freundlicher Empfang und schnelle Bedienung. Klein und gemütlich. Gute Portionen und lecker zubereitet. Einzig die Bierpreise sind aus meiner Sicht ganz schön teuer. Hochgerechnet auf die Oktoberfest Maß,ebenbürtig.
