If you want to enjoy the great view outside when the weather is good, you may have to wait. This means waiting in front of the restaurant until a table becomes available. The ambience was great, as was the service. Unfortunately, the food was anything but great. Far too expensive for too little quality/quantity. Therefore, I can unfortunately only recommend the restaurant to anyone who wants to end the evening comfortably with a glass of wine.

This restaurant is located in a wonderfully beautiful spot with a view over the Untersee to Reichenau and over the Markelfinger Winkel to the Hegaubergen. The service here is excellent, I can't rate the food yet because I only had a butter pretzel for breakfast.

Thank you! Seven of us came spontaneously on Sunday evening and were greeted warmly. Tables were set up for us in a great location and the service was quick, friendly and, above all, attentive. This is exactly how you like to end your Sunday. We were there for the first, but not the last, time.

Very friendly service. We only had something to drink, so I can't say much about the food. But the small warm chocolate cake (semi-liquid chocolate cake) with vanilla ice cream is awesome.

The food is already ready, it is warmed up so it is dry and not that tasty, the beer tastes nice, the ambience is nice, the service was friendly, but we had to wait a little longer even though there wasn't that much going on.

Das Essen war supet. Quiche mit Ziegenkäse und Blattspinat plus Salatbouquet. zip top. Der Service sehr aufmeksam un d total freundlich. Absulut emphfehlenswert.

10 of us came at 10:15 p.m. wanted a quick drink. They said the checkout had already been made, what a shame about the €70 waste in 15 minutes

The restaurant is located directly on the lake and is almost a winter garden and offers a great view in an attractive ambience. The service is friendly and good. The menu is very appealing. Unfortunately my steak was "well done" and not "medium" and almost as tough as the sole of a shoe. I know the chef isn't in the flesh.

Nice atmosphere right on the lake, the taste was okay. I ordered a salad that said “asparagus salad with salmon” for €16.50. I received a flat plate with 2 stalks of asparagus cut into small pieces, 1! Slice of smoked salmon, 3 olives and some green salad. I'm not a stingy person and I'm happy to pay for good food, but I would have preferred to return the salad. When I asked the waitress about it, they didn't even try to make up for it with an espresso on the house.

The telephone reservation went smoothly. Nice, courteous and super-fast service. Unfortunately it was raining, so we couldn't use the great RäTerrasse with a view of the lake. The food came just 5 minutes after ordering and was beautifully prepared. The spices were saved a bit, but it's better to have too little than too much... You can add more seasoning. The price-performance ratio is reasonable and I can recommend the Seegarten restaurant.

Due to the bad weather we were looking for a restaurant in the area. The food and summer drink were simply delicious. The service was very nice and the view of the lake was beautiful.

Wir waren sehr oft im Seegarten, da wir in der Nachbargemeinde Wohnen. Diesmal hat das dem berühmten Fass den Boden rausgehauen Nach dem wir 2 mal die Schnitzel, zurück gegeben haben, da sie nicht zu schneiden waren,steinhart. Schlichtweg ungenießbar,wollten wir nur noch bezahlen, die Bedienung berechnete auch nur der grünen Salat, danach wurden wir noch zurecht gewiesen, keine Entschuldigung. Sorry, so ein Verhalten,nie wieder.

Cappuccino and iced coffee made from filter coffee, really bad. Shameless answer: That's just how the machine is. If I don't like it, I should go somewhere else or to an Italian restaurant - unbelievable!!!

Beautiful to sit in, extremely nice staff and delicious food

We just had a coffee and were surprised by the nice service! From the terrace I have a wonderful view of the lake, today we were there again, I ate an asparagus salad with smoked salmon and it tasted really delicious and therefore got the last 5 stars, it is simply highly recommended!😊

Die Lage und der Ausblick sind einfach unbezahlbar. Beim Frühstück gibt es sogar eine vegane Variante . Leider keine vegane Milchalternative, das wäre noch schön! Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Einfach toll!

Despite the full house, a reservation was organized at short notice and was completely uncomplicated. Location is great, the Allens burger tastes great, service is super friendly and fast, the food and drinks came super quickly. We will be back!!!

Ein nettes Restaurant in schöner Lage am Bodensee. Speisekarte nicht groß, aber mit ungewohnten Alternativen. Auch zum draußen sitzen Viertele schlotzen und den See betrachten. Herrlich. Nur oft sehr voll.

Großes Lob an den netten Kellner

Wir haben dort Matjes gegessen und sind nicht satt geworden. Für den Preis zu kleine Portionen. Es war eher ein Imbiss. Aufpreis für Bratkartoffeln statt Salzkartoffeln für ein Essen das deutlich zu teuer war für das, was geboten wurde. Der Kartoffelsalat schmeckte eher fade. Aber die Aussicht auf den Bodensee war gut.

Herrliche Lage, gutes Essen, herrliche Terrasse, super Platz um Sonnenuntergänge am Bodensee zu beobachten.

Richtig schön gelegen direkt am see

Sehr schön direkt am Ufer gelegen. Leider meist sehr stark frequentiert. Vor allem mittags und abends muss man sich auf längere Wartezeiten auf einen Sitzplatz einstellen. Ein Versuch lohnt sich aber auf jeden Fall. Herrliche Sonnenuntergänge verkürzen dabei die Wartezeit.

Klasse Ambiente mit Blick auf den Untersee (Bodensee) und wirklich gute Speisen. Auch der Service ist top und sehr aufmerksam. Wir kommen wieder!!

Het was er erg druk en moesten wachten op een vrije plek, maar ondanks de drukte werden we heel vriendelijk ontvangen Verder was het eten heel lekker. Een echte aanrader!
