Generally, a highly recommended restaurant with a great view of the lake and Reichenau. The server was very polite and accommodating. The food was fresh, delicious, and plentiful. Allergens and other ingredients are clearly listed on the menu. One star deducted for: - Some dishes are prepared with flavor enhancers, which I find really unfortunate given the proximity to Pfiffikus on Reichenau. - Bruschetta was unfortunately served with bread instead of the classic baguette.

Good reviews: Good food, friendly service... that's where we (6 people) are going! It's best to make a reservation, of course! Unfortunately, no one was available at the number listed on the website for over 30 hours; three people tried about 15 times at different times of the day. Well, maybe it was busy, maybe the phone system was down, everything happens. So, just to be on the safe side, I sent an email, but unfortunately, no response within 20 hours. OK, maybe it's closed, we'll just go somewhere else. The next day, I happened to be nearby, everything was open, and it was busy. I politely pointed out the situation to the manager, and his response was: Oh, you know, we work with guests, we're not an office. Aha, I see! Email (delivered before closing time and reopening the next day)? Didn't read it. Why not? Oh yes, right: you're not an office! After being reminded twice that this restaurant is a catering establishment and not an office, even I understood.

Allensbach Platter - the meal was simply a plate of fries with a pork chop on top, a very small piece of chicken, and an even smaller piece of beef. Everything was very dry, unfortunately, it didn't seem fresh! Perhaps reheated from yesterday? 🫤 It's quite rare that you're not offered a second drink? What a shame, the service was far too slow!

I was in Allensbach with my granddaughters (14 and 16 years old) for a short four-day trip to Lake Constance. We really liked your restaurant; the food, service, and atmosphere were just perfect. Because we like it so much and the food is so delicious, we came here every evening for dinner. We highly recommend the restaurant. Maxi, Mia, and Joy👍🤩

Hier kann man sehr gut sitzen. Direkt am See gelegen versüßt es einem den Urlaub. Das Cordon bleu war leider es im zweiten Anlauf warm, aber die Spätzle waren einwandfrei.

A wine spritzer at sunset is great. Ambiente (actually a beautiful garden terrace) only gets three stars. I appeal to the restaurateurs here again, if not through politics, that smoking is a nuisance, even outdoors. Furthermore, disgusting ashtrays should only be provided upon request. I recommend the Spanish model... People enjoy sitting on the terraces there; a high table with an ashtray is available at the edge. Thank you for your attention.

I highly recommend this restaurant. We absolutely loved the food. The view of the lake is fantastic. There's also an open-air stage there where performances often take place. It's simply wonderful by the lake with an open-air stage and good food and drinks.

The view was great. The service was terrible. The food was terrible. Rotten. My son got a salad, and there was no apology or anything. We were completely ignored. The food took ages to heat up before it was served, the fish was twice killed, and the ham was so dry that it couldn't be cut.

As a long-time guest, I have to speak up. The location on the lake is unbeatable, and the staff are all very friendly and accommodating. But the quality of the food has unfortunately noticeably declined. There were four of us dining. The fish crisps were very dark and hard-fried and tasted of old grease. The onions in the cheese spaetzle were baked together in a lump. The sausage salad was chopped very finely and definitely tasted better in the old days. It's a shame.

Disappointing The only positive thing about this restaurant was the view. The fish crisps were served on a carelessly arranged leaf salad with a teaspoon of potato salad. The first piece of fish tasted good, but the rest was very fishy. The waitress then told me they'd tried a different fish. I didn't enjoy it, but the unfriendly waitress didn't seem to care. A shame for a restaurant with such a view.

Warum gehen wir in ein Restaurant? Dort möchten wir Speisen erleben, die wir nicht selber so einfach zubereiten können. Beim Seegarten fehlt uns die Leidenschaft der Küche dazu. Das Cordon bleu war Convenience mit Fertigpanade. Wir möchten, dass das Fleisch in der Küche geklopft, die Panade frisch mit Ei zubereitet und das Cordon bleu in der Pfanne mit reichlich Butterschmalz wellig und luftig gebraten wird. So können wir das Fleisch auch für 2-3 € beim Metzger kaufen und 10 Minuten zuhause braten. Wenn man Sauce dazu möchte, soll man noch 1,50 € extra bezahlen. Vermutlich für Fertigsauce. Das Fleisch auf dem Grillteller war recht trocken - eigentlich sollte man da nicht viel falsch machen können. Ein selbst zubereitete Sauce béarnaise würde bestimmt das alles schmackhafter machen. Aber die gibt es auch nicht für Geld. Der Zander ist vermutlich TK-Ware - schade so direkt am See. Auf der Reichenau gäbe es ein paar Fischer, die Hecht, Felchen aus dem See und z. T. auch Zuchtfische frisch anbieten. Das wäre eine Bereicherung. Die gibt es übrigens auch im REWE zu kaufen (Fischer Koch). Also ab in die eigene Pfanne. Die Entenbrust sah auch nach TK-Ware aus. Schade! Wo sind die Köche, die mit Leidenschaft morgens früh frischen Fisch, frisches Fleisch, frisches Gemüse... einkaufen und dann selbst zubereiten? Ein selbst hergestellter Fond wäre die Grundlage für perfekt sämige Saucen. So bleibt halt nur der direkte Seeblick, weshalb das Restaurant wohl auch hauptsächlich besucht wird. Kulinarische Höhenflüge durften wir nicht erleben.

Restaurant overlooking Constance. The service is pretty good. But the food doesn't get more than 3 stars. The meat was a bit dry, ketchup and mayonnaise were served in store-bought packets, there were very few vegetables and did not look fresh. Parking problems. We left there disappointed.

Typical tourist restaurants, you can have a drink here, but please don't eat if you like good food. Bistro level. The large salad plate was bland, partly from a can and mixed with dressing. The grilled zander fillet with grilled vegetables came with a sauce over everything, which everything tasted like and left none of the fish flavor. The canned champions should have been a clue to me right from the start... Service staff was friendly, at least. The beautiful ambience right on the lake naturally allows tourists to continue to fill the shop, which is why the poor quality of both the taste and the products is unlikely to change any time soon.

We'll definitely be back! I was here with my girlfriend for our anniversary and a table was set up especially for us. As you can see from the countless pictures, the location and atmosphere are fantastic, the service is excellent and the food is good.

Schön gelegenes Lokal mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung. Leider mittlerweile ein Preisniveau erreicht welches nicht gerechtfertigt ist. Für Schweineschnitzel mit Pommes und ein Bier 25 Euro ist schon sehr grenzwertig. Schade um dieses Restaurant.

You cannot beat the setting right on Bodensee. We've been here several times over the course of many years while visiting family near Konstanz. My dad has spent entire days starting with a beer then lunch then a beer then dinner just chatting with friends and soaking in the amazing views. My wife and I both got Schnitzel And Spaetzle and they were great. We could have easily shared one portion and been full but of course we both finished our plates 🍻

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The grill plate, the fries were completely burnt and the meat was obviously old and dry, the quiche with salmon, where was the salmon? Definitely not there. The salad was ordered without peppers because the service said that wasn't a problem and when the salad came I thought there had been extra peppers on it. In terms of taste, these dishes get a grade 6 from me. When the service came at some point and I complained, the service was very angry and I asked the boss. He brushed me off by saying I should have called in earlier, even though he saw that the plates weren't empty, the bill was over €70 and, at my insistence, we got an ice cream sundae on the house so that at least my child was happy. Big cockiness and arrogance are never a good companion. The place is really nice but that's about it. That is my experience in this restaurant

Very nice terrace, recommended in the evening to enjoy the sunset. Conditions are very friendly, the food is average. Meat a bit tough, the salad plate is recommended. Reservations only possible inside, if there is space on the terrace you can change. We were there around 5 p.m. and there is still a good selection of places. The view of the sunset is priceless.

If you want to enjoy the great view outside when the weather is good, you may have to wait. This means waiting in front of the restaurant until a table becomes available. The ambience was great, as was the service. Unfortunately, the food was anything but great. Far too expensive for too little quality/quantity. Therefore, I can unfortunately only recommend the restaurant to anyone who wants to end the evening comfortably with a glass of wine.

This restaurant is located in a wonderfully beautiful spot with a view over the Untersee to Reichenau and over the Markelfinger Winkel to the Hegaubergen. The service here is excellent, I can't rate the food yet because I only had a butter pretzel for breakfast.

Thank you! Seven of us came spontaneously on Sunday evening and were greeted warmly. Tables were set up for us in a great location and the service was quick, friendly and, above all, attentive. This is exactly how you like to end your Sunday. We were there for the first, but not the last, time.

The restaurant is located directly on the lake and is almost a winter garden and offers a great view in an attractive ambience. The service is friendly and good. The menu is very appealing. Unfortunately my steak was "well done" and not "medium" and almost as tough as the sole of a shoe. I know the chef isn't in the flesh.
