Turm Cafe in Weißwasser/O.L.

A very nice little restaurant with delicious food. We'd happily recommend it.

I find this place simply "bizarre." (1) Despite the apparently high demand, they can't manage to hire staff capable of handling the demand. Reservations à la USA are only known in Germany from high-quality restaurants, which isn't the case here. (2) The sole cook (I think the chef) tastes the food, which isn't a given in West Germany – but the result is some strange taste sensations. (3) Like almost everywhere in West Germany, they serve McCain-style French fries from the 1990s (aka the post-reunification era) – hard and hot on the outside (so they get cold quickly), raw on the inside. The year is 2025. The staff is friendly, the chic, rustic outdoor area could use a bit more daily cleaning. I find the price a bit too high for what's currently offered.

The food was delicious. The lady who served us was very helpful. Thanks for everything. The rum and apfelstrudel were great. The orange mustard soup is... try it for yourself. It's worth it.

We stopped here with colleagues and sat in the cozy beer garden. There's a nice selection of food and drinks. Very attentive service ensured a pleasant evening with delicious drinks and food. There was a very varied salad buffet and/or egg-flake soup, which was included in the meal order, really great...and the dressing was incredibly delicious. We were all full; they even packed "loser boxes." All the best to the team and thank you for the lovely evening.

Yes, if you like down-to-earth cuisine. Delicious dishes, large portions and acceptable prices, especially as there is an included salad and soup buffet. It was our first time there and we will be back!

Today I was at the Turm Café and I was absolutely thrilled! They have a generous salad buffet and a delicious soup as a starter – a great start. The menu is concise and offers something for every taste. The food itself was outstanding: super delicious, tasty, and generously portioned. The prices are completely reasonable. The ambiance may be small, but it's very cozy. The friendly staff and attentive service, in particular, made the visit perfect. I will definitely be back and can highly recommend the Turm Café!"

The food was very tasty and the plates were generously filled. The menu is manageable, but offers a variety of dishes, some of which are typical of the region. The atmosphere is rather rustic, but we immediately felt at home. The staff was friendly and attentive. Therefore, a clear recommendation for anyone who is hungry and prefers German cuisine.

We felt very comfortable. It was all very tasty and very plentiful. The nice young man who served us was very accommodating and friendly. I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

Small restaurant with good food. Inexpensive and delicious. Opening times and the way you treat guests shortly before closing time take some getting used to.

We went to dinner with friends on Friday at the Turm Cafe, which was delicious, from a generous salad buffet and soup to the main course. I was particularly impressed with the service. The restaurant actually closes at 9 p.m., but we didn't pay attention to the time and even though the four of us were the last ones and didn't realize what time it was until 9:45 p.m., we were served very nicely right up until the end. We would love to come back. Compliments to the entire team.

Eine wunderbare Gastronomie mit sehr leckerem Essen, günstigen Preisen und überaus nettem Service. Die Innenräume sind klimatisiert und das Essen wurde, trotz Schulanfangsfeierlichkeiten im Haus, schnell serviert. Die Cocktails, auch alkoholfrei, sind ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert.

Wunderschönen Biergarten in der Nähe zum Grillen mit Freunden treffen und so etwas zu essen finden wir noch ein bisschen Zeit

Ein tolles, uriges Restaurant in dem man erstklassig essen kann und sich dabei noch wie zuhause fühlt. Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr gutes und reichliche Essen. Am Wochenende gibt es ein Salat- uns Suppebuffett, das im Speisepreus inkludiert ist. Einfach Spitze.

Zum ersten Mal da gewesen. Tür auf eingetreten, ein Blick nach links nach rechts und Wow urgemütlich eingerichtet. Das muss man gesehen haben. Die Bedienung freundlich eine kompetente Beratung für die Weinkarte. 👍👍 Die Speisekarte lässt keine Wünsche offen. Habe selten su gut gefüllte Teller mit frischen Zutaten gesehen. Wir waren total zufrieden. Eins weiß ich, das war nicht das letzte Mal.

Alles soweit in Ordnung, gutes Essen, guter Service, Ambiente irgendwo in den 80er/90er Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts steckengeblieben.

Das Essen hier ist super. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Lausitzer Meerrettichschnitzel sucht seinesgleichen und ist definitiv für den großen Hunger. Auch der Camembert in Mandelkruste ist nicht nur auf dem Teller ein Hingucker. Von uns gibt's für das Turm-Cafe eine klare Empfehlung.

War enttäuscht vom Fisch es war sehr klanschick und vom Bierteig weit entfernt

Man sitz schön im Biergarten und das Essen schmeckt.

Wir waren zum Mittagessen hier. Nach langer Zeit wiedermal. Die Karte ist überschaubar, aber man findet immer etwas. Unser Essen war sehr sehr gut!!!

Eigentlich sind wir nur dem guten Geruch gefolgt, es hat aber auch gepasst, sehr leckeres Essen!

Haben spontan einen Tisch reserviert. Hat alles super geklappt, schnelle Bedienung und super Service. Das Essen kam für alle zur gleichen Zeit und hat super geschmeckt.
