The kebab in Hamburg is just as bad as the one in Göttingen. Apparently the company policy at Tunnel Döner.

‼️not recommended‼️ I ordered a kebab today and was unfortunately very disappointed. The bread was not at all suitable for a kebab, it looked big, but the taste was inferior and inappropriate. The filling was also unsatisfactory and didn't hold what I expected. For the price I expect at least reasonable quality. It seems as if they are trying to deceive customers with a large portion without actually delivering good quality. Please consider your ingredients and make sure the quality matches the price.

There were two of us there. The seller asked if we wanted veal or chicken, we had never had a choice before. We decided on 1 kebab and 1 dürum with chicken to take away. Plenty of meat (well seasoned), crunchy vegetables and lots of sauce, delicious 😋 It was so full that we were able to eat two of our dishes. Definitely again when I'm there again. The only drawback is that there is no seating, so no rating for Ambiete is possible.

I’m not sure why such an overall low rating. Maybe because it’s probably highly trafficked. I had the Lehmucun w salad. Very good and cheap and a lighter option than döner but just about as big. I specifically chose this place because it was easy to approach and that’s a huge compliment.

At 12:00 I got a chicken dürüm. Unfortunately, after a few bites I realized that the meat inside was completely raw, red and wobbly. For this reason I had to throw away the Dürüm immediately. Such an experience is not only disappointing, but also dangerous to your health.

Pomm kebab box was delicious and filling. Very quick service, 10 minutes transfer time was enough. The location is of course not a feast for the eyes but what should you expect from a passage.

Doner kebab tastes good, too little meat, too much coleslaw. 30% for the ton.

Worst kebab ever! Completely cold, fries rock hard, staff can't speak German. You'd rather burn your money there than pay for a kebab there.

Great falafel sandwich €5.50, cheap for the top location. The chili sauce is homemade and excellent.

Tunnel kebab - the name seems to say it all. Dark, underground, creepy. You did it. This was by far the worst Dürüm kebab of our lives. My son threw the Dürüm in the trash after 2 bites. The tzatziki must have had a bite, it tasted cheesy and sour. The flatbread was oily and also tasted strange. The hot sauce tasted like a ready-made Asian sauce. Do you actually try your own food? Apparently not. We almost got it out again. Never again… Staff was nice, but that doesn't help anymore.

Once one of the best kebabs in the city, now just ok. But at the main train station, there are always customers here. At least a highlight for the eye; the kebab is cut with the device.

Unfortunately only two stars in the falafel sky. The falafel balls are not bad, not to mention convincing in terms of taste. The rest, however, is more like a loveless compilation of classic kebab components (tomato, white cabbage, onions, nothing more) in a bread ship that unfortunately falls apart when eating due to the very generously distributed sauce and ends in a complete disaster. #ZerfledderterDönerImZug... So in summary, the taste is okay, but we can work on putting it together again. Bread looks homemade after all!

We really enjoy eating kebab and we have often been satisfied here too. Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated extremely even when we gave it a second chance. Only the operator understands that mixed meat costs extra, but given the prices it would still be manageable if the meat was of good quality. But it's not. Lots of gristle, totally over-seasoned and dry. So a lot of sauce to hide the whole thing, which unfortunately doesn't taste that great anymore. The service is totally stressed. It's just not fun anymore and we'll look for another store. The shop used to be good, but now it has slipped into the top 10 worst kebabs.

Tasty döner Dürüm with some funny sweet sauce. And I asked for a cocktail. The sauce destroyed the already weak durum. The meat was even ok, that's why the second star.

Coked-up and unfriendly machos. The women are the opposite, but only sell baked goods that are good and that's the only reason they came. Everything the Talahons do is bad. Unfortunately the nice ladies weren't there today and one of the Talahons arranged for my last visit.

Worst Döner I’ve had in Hamburg… tasteless, not fresh at all.

Just no. My companion and I arrived at the main station completely hungry after attending a concert and were happy to be able to have some warm food. Conclusion: We should have taken a look at the online review. This is probably one of the top 3 worst kebabs I have ever eaten. The bread was rubbery, the meat was dry, and the distribution of components in the bread was, shall we say, interesting. The staff was stressed, which is completely legitimate at this time of day and after a long day at work... BUT despite repeated repetitions, the correct order was not served. That was an experience that will go down in my memories

Simply completely disrespectful. First they obviously deliberately ignored a dark-skinned woman who had been waiting next to us for a long time and therefore only noticed and reluctantly served her when something was said. Then I was insulted in a sexist way: "Why wouldn't I rather cook for my husband today..." then people made fun of what kind of person my husband was and that we pay separately..... I'm really wondering this visit, what's wrong with the people there... apparently a lot of things are wrong! We'll never come here again! Just pathetic stuff like that

The bread is way too hard, there is hardly any sauce, No cucumbers in the salad, the meat was ok. Overall quite disappointing. Not the worst kebab I've ever had but close.

The first time I walked into the Tunnel Döner kebab shop, it felt like I had entered the kebab capital of the world. The portions here are so huge that even Hulk would give up after just one kebab. I'm not exaggerating - it was an avalanche of meat on a flatbread! The highlight of my visit, however, was "the device" - the state-of-the-art, precision-controlled machine for cutting the meat. It was like I was in a futuristic kebab opera with the device as the conductor conducting the meat symphony. A real feast for the eyes and believe me, I enjoyed every second. The taste? Heavenly! The meat was so tender that it literally melted in your mouth, and the sauce combination was perfect. I felt like a gourmet enjoying the best fast food in the world. The amount of flesh was so overwhelming that I wondered if I might have an invisible blackhead on my side. Conclusion: If you haven't visited Tunnel Döner yet, you've definitely missed something. Huge portions, the device in action and a taste experience that is second to none.

Even this one star doesn't do justice to this disgusting thing that is called "doner kebab in bread" - it doesn't describe the disgust I felt while eating the kebab. Never, really never, has a kebab tasted and smelled so mangy of rats. In addition, the staff is extremely unfriendly - they shout around and think they can lighten the mood with jokes ("fun, don't you know fun or something"). Conclusion: The store should rename itself to Waste Bin!

I say kebab without spicy without onions and they throw in more onions than kebab and spicy on top. To the right of the kebab was a thin dish and to the left was just sauce. My toilet will easily explode later.

Since the kebab was eaten at four o'clock at night and not completely sober, the test is unfortunately not entirely objective. But what I can say with certainty is that you will NOT get a bad kebab here. The price of €6.90 is totally appropriate these days. But you get a decent amount of meat in an almost oval bread. It was almost a little too crispy due to the late time, but it still tasted good. The sauces were totally fine and the hot sauce pops well! I didn't have any stomach problems the next day, as some people have reported here.

At first glance it looks a little sketchy, especially given the reviews. However, I can't understand the bad reviews at all. The kebab box was quite large, completely fine for €6.70, and tasted great. The hot sauce is very good and quite spicy :) Service is very friendly and food is ready quickly.

They have 4 large skewers but the employees are too slow in sales. They talk more to each other than to serve the guests.

Firstly, incredible taste. The doner is fresh, thinly cut and absolutely delicious. To add to the taste, you get the fast preparation time and the cheap cost. And you can eat with a view of the Rathaus which is probably the most beautiful building in Hamburg. What more could you genuinely want? As a Turkish person I would 100% recommend. Better döner dürüm than most restaurants in Turkey itself. Absolutely class, friendly and fast service, incredible food - a must try if you’re coming to Hamburg!

This shop at the Rathaus is the best food I’ve ever had, I cannot recommend it more, the service is extremely quick and the guy constantly makes jokes and laughs with you, the food is cheap (a massive pomm dönner box filled with chips salad and meat filled to the brim almost overflowing for only €6) and the flavour is amazing with so much sauce and juicy beef. If you go to one place in Hamburg go to the Rathaus Tunnel Döner

Digga, I was eating there with 2 friends. One has chills and has puked 4 times, the other is currently screaming and has puked 3 times. I'm sitting in bed and I feel nauseous. The two friends didn't even eat half the kebab. Not recommended Update: Me and my friends stopped counting when we vomited 7 times and unfortunately had food poisoning too late to report it and didn't get a receipt

Hey, the store used to be so cool and just as I was there the salesman tried to tease me, which was funny at first. But when he completely messed up my order and I pointed it out to him, he was pretty angry and one of my kebab boxes was completely cold. I asked him about it and all he got was a shrug of his shoulders, so no, never again

Pigeons in the goods window, goods are still resold, despite requests/notices - it doesn't work at all.

The Gözleme are a dream. Absolutely recommended, the service is always nice and the prices are more than fair. All Turkish baked goods are made fresh on site.

Lovelessly expensive rolls, e.g. grain rolls with egg. Without butter or something like tartar sauce, an egg was slapped between two halves of bread rolls and it wasn't even salted.

What’s up with these bad reviews? Makes no sense. I just received an amazing Döner box. I paid 6,70 for a Döner box that was filled to the edge with the box open. Not only was the portion generous, but the food was amazing as well. The sauces were great, the yellow sauce was fresh and tasty. Their chili was nice and the white sauce was also very tasty. All three were definitely homemade. The box had fresh lettuce, tomato, cabbage and cucumber. The meat was amazing! Paper thin cut, very tender, large amount and had a fatty and nutty flavor. Some pieces even had crispy caramelized edges, I mean how does this place have a 2.6 rating? The fries were all crispy. All of them. Even the ones in the bottom. Usually when you get Döner boxes the fries in the bottom are soggy when you get that far, not in this case. They opted for thin fries and I think they give them a bit extra time so they can maintain the crispyness throughout your meal. I would’ve loved to try their breads too because that also looked very nice. Honestly I have no idea about these bad reviews. Only negative thing was salt. The fries and the meat needed some salt, they could take it to the next level if they salted everything while assembling the box. In general it was a bit underseasoned, but that’s abou it.

Meine Erfahrung im Döner Tunnel war bedauerlicherweise nicht zufriedenstellend, und daher vergebe ich nur einen Stern. Die Pommes wiesen erhebliche Mängel auf, da sie größtenteils nicht durchgegart waren, und einige sogar roh serviert wurden. Dies deutet auf Qualitätsprobleme in der Zubereitung hin. Die Hygiene im in der Dönerbude schien mangelhaft zu sein, und der Service erwies sich als katastrophal. Die Unzufriedenheit mit meiner Mahlzeit und dem insgesamt nachlässigen Eindruck des Betriebs hinterlassen den Wunsch nach deutlichen Verbesserungen in Bezug auf Speisequalität, Hygiene und Kundenservice.

Kann man essen, muss man aber nicht. Zuviel Salat, Fleisch nicht knusprig, dürüm Teig zu nass.

Nos atendieron con bastante rapidez y amabilidad, pero la verdad es que quedé un poco decepcionada con la comida. Estaba buena, y ponían bastante cantidad, pero para la calidad que tenía creo que era un poco cara. Las patatas estaban buenísimas.

Katmer, Pide und Börek dort ein Traum. Katmer mit Käse war noch heiß🔥 und einfach perfekt! Das Dönerfleisch hat nachgelassen, im September war es viel besser. Heute war der Hähnchen-Döner sehr sehr fettig, teilweise nicht genießbar deswegen. Schade. Die Soßen sind gut, Salat ist frisch und die Mitarbeiter sind nett.

Fleischbox mit Hühnchen bestellt 9€ für eine normale Portion… war aber reichlich Fleisch drinnen! Wurden zu zweit satt. Ich hatte mir zwei verschiedene Soßen gewünscht und das war kein Problem. Ambiente gibt’s hier unten natürlich keins ;-)

Ich teste hobbymäßig Döner und fand diesen nicht schlecht. Der Salat war frisch, die Arbeitsfläche sah sauber aus und der Verkäufer arbeitete mit Handschuhen (leider fasst er damit auch das Geld an, aber das hat man öfter). Das Fleisch war etwas zu fettig, aber die Saucen gut. Also insgesamt ok.

Dönerbox sehr gut, den Rest kann ich nicht beurteilen

Bester Döner in ganz Hamburg! Das ist mein einziger Grund zum Hauptbahnhof zu fahren. Fleisch ist Geschmack voll und Gemüse frisch. Das Brot ist sehr knusprig und die Cocktailsoße echt lecker. 11/10 :)

Immer zuviel Zwiebeln & Salat. Dazu unhygienisch weil drinnen ist voll mit fliegen und Tauben die am Mülleimer herum schwirren. Und genervt unfreundlich sind die Verkäufer hier leider auch schon am frühen Mittag 😕

Ich freue mich auf jede Fahrt nach Hamburg, denn hier gibt es guten Kaffee und einen leckeren Katmer. Angemessene Preise, nette und freundliche Bedienung! Kartenzahlung möglich. Ordentlicher Kassenbon mit allen notwendigen Angaben - meine Buchhaltung dankt! 👍

Ich war heute zum ersten Mal in Hamburg nur für wenige Stunden. Der vegetarische Döner war super, die Saucen sehr lecker (hatte alle 3, Knoblauch, die orangene war vermutlich Cocktail und scharfe Sauce), sehr gut gefüllt, vielleicht etwas zu voll zum reinbeißen aber trotzdem sehr gut. Nettes Personal und das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis war auch gut. Also ich kann persönlich nichts negatives sagen.

Ich finde hier gibts das leckerste Döner ganz Hamburg. Die Portionen sind perfekt. Man wird satt. Einen extra plus Punkt für die dürüm Brote, die sie selbst zubereiten. Ich habe bisher noch nie so lecker Döner gegessen, wie hier. Es wäre top, wenn man dort noch ein platz zum sitzen hätte…

Meiner Meinung nach einer der besten Döner Läden in dem ich gegessen habe. Wenn ichal in HH bin ist da ein Zwischenstopp für mich Pflicht weil ich persönlich den Döner mega lecker finde bzw mega gut ist 🤙💪

Essen schnell bekommen aber den Laden gibt es wahrscheinlich nur weil die Lage sehr gut ist. Fleisch sehr ekelhaft.
