Family dinner, spent a lot of money in the store, but the wait staff still made silly comments about tattoos. Yes, it's not everyone's cup of tea, but as a customer, I don't care about that opinion. The food was also rather mediocre. What bothered me most were the clichéd and sexist images in the men's restroom. It's uncool to pee while looking at a group of men ogling a good-looking woman with a lot of cleavage. Is that supposed to represent "Bella Italia"? Then I'll take my daughters somewhere else next time. Educate your son, even on the toilet.

Great restaurant! You can enjoy delicious food in a lovely atmosphere. The waiters are very friendly, helpful, and personable, yet politely distant.

We came here for the first time on the recommendation of a friend – and unfortunately, also for the last time. Upon entering, we were greeted unfriendly: My polite request for a quieter seat was met with a brusque comment like, "See for yourself, there's nothing available." We were then able to find a table ourselves and later move to a quieter seat, which made the unfriendly greeting all the more incomprehensible. We ordered white champagne and were served rosé. The friendliness and attentiveness of the staff remained at a minimum throughout the evening. Despite our polite and friendly demeanor, we didn't feel welcome or appreciated. My wife's fish soup contained a spoiled piece of fish. Our suggestion was dismissed by the waiter, accompanied by an inappropriate remark. The food itself was fine, as was the value for money, but the service was far below the level one would expect in a restaurant of this category. There was no apology or a small greeting from the house, nor were we given our goodbyes as we left. Even our tip was accepted without comment. All in all: the food was solid, but the service and hospitality were disappointing. For us, this was our first and last visit.

I ate here yesterday for the first, but not the last, time. We had a lovely evening with perfectly friendly hosts. The restaurant is stylish, the food was exceptionally delicious, and everything was perfect. I had scallops on lamb's lettuce for starters, veal liver with sage butter for main course, and almond parfait for dessert. I highly recommend the restaurant.

I popped in spontaneously and wasn't disappointed. The fact that the restaurant has been around since my birth year appealed to me. The service was very friendly and the food excellent. I felt a bit awkward in the Marienburg-style setting, but that was also because I was the only one dining alone...

I visited this restaurant for the first time in a while. It's a very nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The service has become friendlier, although this still hasn't reached all the employees. Unfortunately, I experienced some very noticeable kitchen glitches during my meal that day, which prevented me from finishing my meal. When I complained about my problems with the food, I was once again met with the less than welcoming service I remembered from before.

Fantastic Italian restaurant in the best district of Cologne. Food is made of fresh high quality ingredients and it is very tasteful. My recommendation goes for the fish soup, grilled scampi and tiramisu. Prices are correct. Make a reservation!

We ate there last month and can't say anything negative about the food. However, we do have strong complaints about the manners of the two female waitresses, who were extremely unprofessional in their demeanor, friendliness, and service. This made us feel increasingly uncomfortable and still don't fully understand where the very good reviews come from. Perhaps both of them should undergo training in the future to learn/maintain proper customer service. Disappointed, we will pass this on to friends and acquaintances and won't recommend it to anyone, which is a shame.

I recently visited Tillio Ristorante, which presents itself as relatively upscale, and I have to say I was very disappointed. The impression that the restaurant wanted to give was primarily influenced by the crowd that frequents it - they obviously want to create an upscale atmosphere. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not convince me on several points. What I found particularly annoying was that water was sold that was obviously bottled from the tap. This water was offered at a completely exorbitant price of eight euros per bottle. I find this to be outrageous, especially in Cologne, where the tap water is known not to be of the best quality. It is simply not acceptable to charge such a high price for simple tap water. The food itself tasted quite good, but it wasn't nearly as outstanding as you would expect in a restaurant of this price range. The portion size was disappointing: the dishes were tiny and seemed more like works of art than filling meals. For example, there was only a quarter of a potato - that's just too little and seems excessive. One gets the impression that more emphasis is placed on appearance than on taste or satiety. On top of that, the tablecloth was dirty, which absolutely shouldn't happen in a restaurant that claims to be upscale. Such details significantly spoil the overall impression. Overall, I cannot recommend the restaurant. The high price is disproportionate to the service offered - neither in terms of water, nor food, nor cleanliness. There are definitely better alternatives in this price range.

Reception was friendly and accommodating. Very pleasant atmosphere, tasteful furnishings. Attentive, friendly, casual service. The selection of dishes is presented on a large board at the table and the daily recommendations are given. The dishes we ordered were excellently prepared and tasted excellent. Wine list on request, this time I decided not to. The waiter's recommendation was excellent. Prices are calculated fairly. A lovely evening. We went to the restaurant to eat the great rated truffle pasta. They were listed on the menu board, priced at EUR 26.50. We chose various starters that tasted okay or very good. Nice atmosphere, we had a nice evening. When the bill came we paid and of course gave a tip. Afterwards we noticed that the price for the noodles suddenly stood at EUR 28.50. We documented the status on the board against our receipt. We called the waiter to point out the mistake. He thought he had to inform us that this price on the board was wrong and that two EUR more per dish had already been programmed into the cash register. The fact that there was not just an apology but also an instruction really irritated us. When we protested, the waiter left briefly and came back with 2(!) EUR, as a small alms, so to speak. We then asked if they were kidding us, and they rudely handed us the missing 4 EUR. What a shame that it is worth EUR 6 to the restaurant to annoy happy guests until then. The evening was ruined for now. We can neither recommend the restaurant nor would we ever enter it again.

Wir waren im Tullio zum Abendessen. Obwohl das Restaurant geräumig ist, wird eine Reservierung empfohlen. Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich, italienisch. Für meinen Geschmack etwas zu viele Tische und Stühle. Die Speisekarte befindet sich auf einer Kreidetafel und variiert regelmäßig. Wir hatten eine Vorspeisenplatte und als Hauptgang den Fisch in Salzkruste. Beides schmeckte sehr lecker. Der Weißwein dazu passte perfekt. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Kartenzahlung war - wie zu erwarten - kein Problem. Fazit: Leckeres Essen in authentischer Atmosphäre!

The food was great but the local restaurant had no Italian flair at all. I also had the impression that the two waiters who served me were already at home with their thoughts. The reception in the restaurant wasn't sparkling either

The Tullio in Marienburg is one of those restaurants where you simply feel at home from the first moment. The menu offers a diverse selection of Italian dishes that taste great. There are always seasonal highlights. like the duck with masala sauce – simply delicious! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, ideal for spending a nice evening with friends/family or in a group. The staff are warm, attentive and make you feel completely welcome. For me, Tullio is one of the few Italian restaurants that I enjoy visiting again and again.

Here you are in a first-class house. From the reservation to the bill, there was nothing wrong with the absolutely flawless service. The ambience of this Italian restaurant is modern and sober, you immediately feel at home. This can also be seen in the strong influx of a very distinguished clientele. A diverse selection of dishes is offered on a table, and the wine list has a few surprises in store. The selection of open wines is rather limited. It's a shame: There are no half bottles, not even at Ferrari and Taittinger. After the Coperto bread with the Limoncello Spritz, the menu opened with a deliberately simple and therefore truly Mediterranean tuna carpaccio with a touch of oil as well as tomato concassé and capers. This was followed by a whole sea bream, grilled to perfection, with a side dish of fine cabbage and delicious peas, reminiscent of the Salzmünder Edelperle. The finale was an almond parfait, which was also served without much fuss, which of course doesn't detract from the real enjoyment. The friendliness of the staff and the feeling that they are only there for you make an evening here an event and almost make me want to come back.

Food is very good, service is mostly too, but sometimes too trying, sometimes intrusive and too pushy. A little more restraint and less forced effort would enrich the very good taste experience.

Strange location of the restaurant. it was sort of dumped and looked like it was hidden in a block of flats somewhere. A large display board was placed in front of the table as a menu😭?? There is no drinks menu, only for wines and alcoholic drinks. We sat outside on the terrace and it just looked uninviting because, for example, there was a broom in one corner. That sounds nitpicky, but the little things somehow make up the whole thing. But there are plus points for the food. It was fabulous and we really enjoyed it.

Despite the promising external circumstances, our visit was notable for a number of weaknesses in the service that marred the overall experience. Ambiance and first impression The Tullio impresses with its upscale furnishings and a welcoming atmosphere. Despite the impressive location directly on the Rhine, the restaurant was surprisingly empty when we visited. This contributed to a rather chilly atmosphere as one would expect a full house on a Saturday evening in this setting. An unusual detail: There was no classic menu. Instead, we were brought to the table with a sign listing all the dishes with prices. This seemed somewhat improvised and diminished the otherwise elegant overall impression of the restaurant. Service – friendly but poor execution The service was polite and friendly, but the implementation lacked the necessary attention. Everything went smoothly while we were taking our order, but afterwards we were left sitting with empty glasses without anyone asking for more drinks. The request for dessert came late, but we finally settled on a zabaglione. This was where the most serious weak point of the evening became apparent: After 40 minutes of waiting for dessert and several unsuccessful glances at the service staff, we decided to forego the dessert and ask for the bill instead. Food – good quality, but not a highlight Our meal consisted of chanterelles with bacon, veal fillet and veal liver in sage butter. The dishes were well prepared, tasted solid and the ingredients were fresh. Although the dishes offered a pleasant culinary experience, there was no exceptional taste experience. Given the prices, one might have expected a little more finesse and sophistication. Nevertheless, the food was the highlight of the evening. Conclusion – good food with clear weaknesses in the service Despite a lovely meal, the evening was marred by the obvious deficiencies in the service. The waiting times for drinks and especially for dessert were unacceptable. The concept with the sign instead of a classic menu also doesn't contribute to the restaurant's upscale standards. On a scale of 1 to 10, Tullio would be a 6 at best. It offers good food in a nice location, but unfortunately the service leaves too much room for improvement.

As always, perfect dishes, excellent wines and competent, friendly service. We'd love to come back.

Hier findet man Italiens Herz auf dem Teller. Eine authentische und gradezu familiäre Atmosphäre erfreut uns jedesmal wenn wir kommen. Michele und sein Team sorgen für ein rundum wohlfühl Paket. The tables outside appear to be a smoking area. You just have to like eating as a non-smoker. The service also responds to repeated requests. Unfortunately, sparkling water is non-carbonated. When asked, reference was also made to the label on the bottle, which said it should be carbonated. Unfortunately, the bread was very tough and hard and it was difficult to estimate its age. Apparently there is no menu on site. But available on the website if you search yourself. Unfortunately, starters classics are not even average. Oversalt main dishes. It would have been nice if there had at least been fresh pepper or parmesan. Unfortunately, confidence doesn't match quality or service. Price/performance is not right. Luckily there are plenty of good Italian restaurants.

As a long-time and satisfied guest of the original Tullio in Marienburg, I was excited to visit the new offshoot at the Am Alten Fliess Golf Club. Unfortunately, this anticipation was quickly disappointed. The experience in the new Tullio is in stark contrast to what I know and appreciate from Marienburg. As soon as I entered the restaurant I noticed the disinterested and bored staff. The look of the restaurant appears bland and uninviting - a big difference to the cozy and stylish ambience of the original. The quality of the food was particularly disappointing. The dishes were neither convincing in terms of taste nor appropriate for the price. Unfortunately, in relation to the quality offered and the high price level, there was little that was right here. It's a real shame that the new Tullio doesn't live up to the high standards of the original. I hope that management takes this feedback seriously and makes appropriate improvements. Because the Tullio in Marienburg impressively shows how it is done right.

There are few restaurants in Cologne that offer excellent, classic Italian cuisine. This is definitely one. So absolute recommendation. Even the Marienburg clientele is a spectacle. That's how it has to be. You go into stores like this and it's just a different world.

Also wer Lust hat auf vorzügliche klassische italienische Küche ist richtig gut aufgehoben. In Köln gibt es kaum Restaurants in diesem Segment. Also absolute Empfehlung.

After ordering, the starters came relatively quickly and tasted good, but cold. Unfortunately we had to wait 1 hour 20 for the main courses. The liver was fried and the noodles were tasteless and overcooked. What was much sadder, however, was that the service was poor and the staff was very unfriendly. All in all, a level is presented here that may only be made available to regular customers. Never again! Big disappointment.

Dolce Vita pur. Mal wieder waren wir im Tullio, bei Michele, einem außergewöhnlichen Gastronom mit einem außergewöhnlichen Restaurant. Wir uns auch unsere Freunde waren begeistert. Die Symphonie aus delikaten Gerichten, entspannendem Ambiente und aufmerksam sympathischen Service sind immer wieder eine Sensation. Die Vorspeisen, der Lammrücken, die Tiramisu und dann der Grappa .....machen einfach nur glücklich. Wir kommen wieder, nicht bald, sondern schnell.

This is one of the few, if not the only, restaurant in Cologne's affluent Marienburg district. The ambiance looks quite good, and the diners as well. But the food? Humdrum is an understatement. And expensive as well. Drive a bit longer and go elsewhere.

Kann den hype nicht nachvollziehen. Die Spaghetti vongole schmeckten nach nichts. Auf die Frage was gefehlt hatte ist mir nichts eingefallen. Bin ich der Koch?? Wenn der es nicht weiß tut es mir leid. Das lammkarree war mit verbrannten Kräutern und harten frittierten Kräuter Stengel serviert. Ungenießbar die Kräuter und leider keine gute Fleisch Qualität etwas zäh und leider ranzig also nach Schafsbock schmeckenend. Da hatte ich mehr fürs Geld erwartet!

Leider ein absolut arrogantes Restaurant mit keinerlei Rücksicht. Meine schwangere Freundin hat einen alkoholfreien Hugo bestellt. Irgendwann sagte Sie, Sie würde sich „angetrunken“ fühlen. Auf mehrfaches nachfragen, ob das Getränk wirklich alkoholfrei war, sagte man uns Sie bilde sich dies nur ein. Als wir nicht locker gelassen haben, gestand man irgendwann ein, dass alkolhaltiger Sekt genutzt wurde. Ein „Entschuldigung“ ist keinem der Kellner noch der Restaurantleitung über die Lippen gekommen.

Feines Restaurant mit Blick auf den Rhein und sehr freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Service. Die Karte steht auf einer Kreidetafel und hört sich durchgängig gut an. Ein Punkt Abzug weil unsere Rumpsteaks/Filets in Soße schwommen. Die sehr gute Qualität konnte man dadurch nicht schmecken. Besser: Soße an der Seite bestellen.

Da ich Veganerin bin, eine sehr eingeschränkte Essenswahl. Eine Minestrone und Spaghetti Napoli. Alles Andere mit Fisch, Fleisch und Butter. Die beiden Gerichte waren sehr gut und lecker zubereitet.

Ein vorzügliches Restaurant mit einem gehobenem Ambiente und einem außerordentlich zuvorkommenden Personal. Selbst die Mäntel werden abgenommen und wieder angezogen, das ist Service vom Feinsten. Die Vorspeise und die Trüffelpasta waren köstlich. Kleiner Punktabzug gibt es aufgrund der Portionsgrößen, die ein klein wenig üppiger ausfallen könnten. Dennoch war dies mit Sicherheit nicht der letzte Besuch!

Die Vorspeisen und die Hauptspeisen waren echt sehr lecker. Die Atmosphäre ist gut. Preis Leistung ist Top. Reservierung ist Pflicht. Ich denke das wir öfter dahin gehen werden. Tolle Küche aber zwei mal reserviert, Reservierung vergessen. Zwei mal Essen zum Abholen bestellt, zwei mal Beilagen und eine Speise vergessen. Leider sehr enttäuscht.

Wir hatten heute einen wunderschönen Abend zu viert. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, charmant und amüsant! Das essen war perfekt. Der empfohlene Wein, ein Genuss! Was gibts zu meckern? Nichts! Gerne mehr davon!!!

The food was sufficient but the price too high for the quality; cannot shown on the menu "risotto with langoustines" and serve risotto with shrimps. I confirm there are better Italian Restaurant in Koln where you eat better and pay less. 5 friends........ we have 3 starters, 5 pasta dishes, 2 glasses of wine, 5 beers and 4 coffees for a total of 240 euro!!!
