The food there was very tasty and was one of the best I have ever eaten. I can only warmly recommend the spaghetti carbonara. The service was also very nice. Especially the student and waiter Laurin likes to come here again and again.

If you really want to eat good pasta, then the pasta workshop is most likely your first choice. We didn't have to wait long and the food was very tasty. It is advisable to reserve.

Best handmade noodles! Incomparably delicious!

I've already given the pasta workshop a chance three times because I've only heard good things. But it's just not worth going there. 70% of the staff are unfriendly and mostly stay at “friends” tables, so there is mostly no service at all. The pasta was good though. These are my experiences from previous visits. Today was the highlight. We came to lunch. At first we weren't told about the existing lunch offer and we had to explicitly ask about it. After we ordered we waited 45 minutes for our pasta, even though there were hardly any tables occupied. Definitely not feasible for those who only have a short lunch break. And then the pasta tasted just average and wasn't even the pasta that was pictured on the menu (e.g. we ordered the charcoal Tagliatte Bolo-Red - was normal, and not a charcoal/black tagliatelle like pictured?!). Very very unfortunate…

Because of the very different reviews here, I was excited about the pasta workshop. I really liked the atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed. With our beautifully presented aperitif, we both received a bowl of peanuts. Great thing. Then there was some bread and olive oil. Unfortunately we couldn't try the fried gnocchi because the deep fryer was broken. We then ordered two pasta dishes, which we really enjoyed. Great noodles with a delicious sauce. Simply delicious - without a lot of frills. I don't need a huge plate with unnecessary decorations. Simple, simply delicious, a good portion at a fair price. We had a lovely evening in the pasta workshop, which I can really recommend.

Absolutely average, food okay, service okay, definitely not worth the price. Ravioli were hard, which is not what you would expect from fresh pasta. It doesn't seem to live up to its own standards and the dishes seem unimaginative. We would have liked to drink more if we could have ordered drinks. The only thing that is above average is the prices.

My go-to restaurant in the Südstadt!! If I'm looking for a highlight of the day, the pasta workshop is always the right place for me. Great ambience (fresh, modern & yet somehow “workshop style”) and absolutely delicious food. So far I have enjoyed every dish on the regularly changing menu, you can feel the fresh ingredients. The pasta is freshly made and is simply delicious! I come regularly and will continue to do so! Very nice staff, with whom we have often “chatted” for a long time 😉

A great restaurant, we come often and have never had a bad meal 😍 there are many vegetarian and vegan alternatives on the menu and the waiters and waitresses are always available for a little chat. Just always beautiful 😍😍

Unfortunately we have to agree with the negative reviews. Service is less than standard. For 2 people, starter, pasta + normal wine 120€ - the pasta was ok, but by no means better than a good Italian restaurant in the city for that price. Restaurant less than half full but it is always complicated, you are asked if you have a reservation, you have to check whether there is a table available. Sorry, but for a good Italian “pasta bar” the price/performance and staff are not nearly right. What is noticeable is the lack of hygiene with the products; an employee sneezes into her hand and then sorts the pasta in front of the guests. Buon appetite!

It's too expensive for what you receive. ○ The menu is too difficult to understand ○ Do not ask for the zucchini carbonara, the spaghetti came in a dish full of sauce made of egg and something else, really strange flavour and very little "zuchinni". Super heavy to eat. ○ A bottle of Ice Tee (0.33) costs 4.5 eur, and you can even find it in a supermarket. ○ When you ask for bread, they bring some slides in a dish full of olive oil. In my opinion, they should inform first that they serve it in oil...or bring the oil separately. The service was very good.

A place where you can still get really tasty homemade noodles. At prices that are more than fair. A family business that still stands for quality. The owner himself took extra time for us and explained where the pasta and flour come from. Even with a gluten intolerance I can eat these noodles. We even got a small free dessert, we can't say what it was, but one thing is for sure, it was super tasty. Thank you. Peter and Natalie

I don't know where all the good reviews come from. Ordinary pasta that tastes even better at Losteria for an overpriced price. Staff unfriendly. Had asked for bread. Waiter comes and says bread is coming soon. After that it was said bread takes time. After that the bread needs to be cut. Then the waitress comes and says I forgot to tell you there is no bread today. After our pasta was completely cold we were able to eat it without bread :) super bad service. The store is simply hyped unnecessarily and the pasta is sold at far too high a price.

The salad for €17.90 is absolutely not worth its price! And the “service” is a disaster! I was the only guest and they didn't manage to come to me a second time to check on everything! Instead, the two “working” ladies preferred to chat and turned their backs on me! I really had to look in their direction for over 10 minutes to hope that they would notice me so that I could finally ask for the bill. I just wanted to get out of there! When I asked for salt and pepper when serving this half-hearted salad, the waitress looked at me annoyed. Never again!

In a nice atmosphere with delicious food. A delight for the eyes and taste.

Starter (burrata) and main course (white bolognese and goat cheese ravioli) were very lightly seasoned, but were okay. Unfortunately our order was forgotten and we waited over an hour for the food, while guests who arrived later received their food very quickly (of course that can happen). I would still have expected a small gesture as an apology, but unfortunately nothing was offered or waived.

A pity! We were there today and I ordered a pasta with shrimps, octopus and bottarga together with a friend. A pasta with shrimp came, but without the remaining ingredients. But what's much worse is that it was simply served to us as if half of the dish wasn't missing. Unfortunately, it's not possible for me to pretend that the guest doesn't notice. When I asked the service about the missing ingredients, it became apparent that unfortunately they no longer had the ingredients for the dish in the house. Which wouldn't have been a problem if it had been communicated beforehand. Since we wanted to eat with the rest of the group, we declined the suggestion of getting another dish. All in all, the taste was good, but not what was ordered. In the end, reluctantly and only with discussion, the price of the dish was reduced by 10%. Well, I would have done it differently as a restaurateur. Unfortunately, this means that we will definitely not visit the store again.

Delicious and fresh pasta, something different!

I had already expected that the pasta in an Italian pasta factory would be al dente or fresh, especially given the prices (day ticket 18€) but unfortunately it was still tough in some places. The waitress said that was correct (al dente) and that next time I should let them know in advance that I would like softer noodles, i.e. more than al dente. It was definitely not al dente, but I warmed it up again. The other pasta was good al dente, the starter was very tasty, service on a Saturday lunch was otherwise very good and quick and the atmosphere was really very nice.

We recommend. Best pasta ever. If you care about good quality, then you've come to the right place!!

Extremely delicious pasta, cozy atmosphere thanks to high ceilings and very good service. The only drawback: when making the reservation and on the menu on the homepage, the old price for the lunch special was stated (11.50 vs 15.00 now). The food was definitely worth the money, but it was a bit awkward to see the direct comparison like that.

I wanted since long time to visit this restaurant and I did at the end but I was not so amazed. Carbonara was average, service ok, somehow I felt like client for recycling, to serve me fast so that they get the next client and then kind of unorganized. There was the menu of the day that is a blackboard brought here and there and sometimes was placed next to us making us feel very uncomfortable. There is room for improvement but I do believe that I will not try again.

I just had dinner there with my family. I have to honestly say the atmosphere looks very inviting. The staff very polite and accommodating. The food was very tasty. My son even said Vapiano can pack up.

Today I ate at the Pasta Workshop with a friend on a recommendation. Not only is the owner incredibly friendly and service-oriented, the food is also classic Italian and really delicious. Something I've never eaten before: fried gnocchi, is my absolute recommendation and has also been recommended to us. The price-performance ratio is great and we would love to come back! ✨

My girlfriend and I were there on April 5th, 2024. I had the Green Basilico dish with burrata, my friend had the Pomodoro alla mama with the parmesan chips (which ended up being just one big parmesan chip). I was thrilled with my food and would recommend it to anyone who likes basil. Unfortunately, my friend's dish was rather standard. The tomato sauce didn't contain any pieces or other highlights, it was just a flat tomato sauce. But the portions filled us up and the price-performance ratio was okay. However, having the opportunity to enhance your dish with toppings is something I would like to highlight as something really cool and positive. We didn't stay long because the waiters were stressed and short. Unfortunately, there was no feeling of being welcome. A little tip: If you come at rush hour (we were there around 8:30 p.m.) you should make a reservation.

Unfortunately I can't confirm the good reviews: food okay, service pure chaos. Instead of a nice greeting, the boss greeted us with “Reserved?” Afterwards she had an argument with the waitress (the waitress, by the way, was very nice and accommodating). Requests were ignored, food came before drinks, etc. The food was tasteless, parmesan and spices were only available upon request. The Aperol prices are good!

Good. Lunch menu (one out of four pasta + drink) is 15€. I had a pistachio pesto with gambas, tasty! Not super duper special though. Starters are pretty good! Service is friendly, maybe a little too chill, but all good here. Modern cosy atmosphere with chic interior. The concept of the fresh pasta in general is cool!

The best pasta I've ever eaten. The pasta is fresh and prepared with love. The restaurant is cute and really appropriately decorated. The staff is very friendly.

We had promised ourselves more. Unfortunately the food lacked taste. Seasoning was urgently needed. Unfortunately, we only discovered the daily recommendations after ordering. A note from service would have been nice. Bruschetta was really little for the price (2 small triangular pieces of bread), tasted ok. Overall it's not worth going there.

So it may taste good, but the portion was absolutely small. Because the boss was nice 2 stars, otherwise there would only be one! I wasn't expecting a holiday meal but after a minute the plate was empty and I watched the others eat. With pasta for around 15 euros, I expect something different. Unfortunately, this scared me off as a customer. A pity

The food on site was pleasant. At the time we visited, the restaurant was very empty, which is an advantage because the tables are very close to each other. We ordered carbonara and pasta with green pesto. Both were delicious, but we were missing something extra. Unfortunately, the guanciale in the carbonara was a bit burnt, but you could tell that the food was homemade, which is very important to us. The waitresses served us friendly at first, but we were ignored when we left (the cell phone was more interesting). The toilets were very clean. Overall a nice visit.

Aglio olio only salty and oily but no or low-quality olive oil, hardly any garlic, hardly any chili and parmesan costs extra. Carbonara wasn't bad though. Service is forgetful and slow. Waiter presents interim receipt, invoice receipt only upon request. Without words

We were at the Pasta Workshop last Tuesday and will definitely be back. Great pasta, delicious salad, especially the mango chili dressing and the olives beforehand. The salad could have been a little more lush and rich, but the really great pasta made up for it. At first glance, portions of the pasta were medium to small, but super filling (we even had to have some wrapped up) and prepared with high-quality ingredients and "Amore". The ambience and lighting concept are super stylish and harmonious with the concept. Our two male waitresses were very passionate about it, which made the spontaneous visit, combined with the right price-performance ratio, really perfect. Thank you for the lovely evening!

Food was okay, but not worth another visit for us. Unfortunately, the service that evening was very short, drinks/food were pushed onto the table without any further words. In general, the ambience and the behavior of the waitresses didn't exactly invite you to sit comfortably.

Finally had truffle ravioli again, which also deserves this name... And there are also antipasti and dolci - what more could you want?? 5 Stars

Bad carnival experience. The bar/pasta workshop sold us expensive tickets in advance, while entry on the day itself was free. Unfortunately, we were the only group and therefore completely alone in the store. The staff treated us unfriendly. I will no longer think positively of this store - especially of carnival - or in everyday life.

A reservation was booked a month in advance for Valentine's Day. On Valentine's Day itself, this appointment was canceled by the restaurant - the person was very abrupt, no real compensation or apology. Due to the cancellation on the day itself, there was no possibility of eating at another restaurant.

There was carnival and there was nothing going on. Nevertheless, we should leave our jackets at the cloakroom for 2 ocken. We thought it was stupid, but we accepted it. When I left I got my jacket and stood in front of the entrance to wait for my friends. The bouncer then attacked me so much that he pushed me halfway down the street and broke a friend's borrowed necklace in the process. I didn't do anything and de-escalated and the guy attacked me. It didn't work at all, I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone if they hired a bouncer like that.

I went today and took the Menu from the day. I felt like in the South...like in my Barcelona. Salad, pasta and an espresso. Top 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🎩

The pasta tastes extremely good. The service was quick and friendly despite the restaurant being full. I ordered a veggie carbonara, which was with me a few minutes later. It was nicely presented, but without any unnecessary frills. I also drank an Italian beer (Peroni), which I also liked. I also have nothing to complain about in terms of price. Not super cheap, but also far from expensive. To end the evening I drank the house white wine. Well what can I say, exactly... I also liked it very much. Definitely one and worth more visits 😁 Big praise to the whole team, including the boss.

Essen und Ambiente waren gut. Ihr solltet euch die Vorspeisen bestellen, die waren sehr lecker. Die Pasta fanden wir okay. Der Service war leider sehr enttäuschend. Wir hatten zwei Damen die uns bedient haben. Die eine war super freundlich und hilfsbereit, die andere hat schon genervt gewirkt als wir „Hallo“ gesagt haben. Dieses Gefühl hat sich später auch bestätigt. Zwar war sie nicht nur zu uns unfreundlich, aber sie arbeitet definitiv in der falschen Branche. Leider konnten wir der anderen kein Trinkgeld geben, da die „unfreundliche“ abkassiert hat.

Perfect Italian food. Home made pasta. We had the ravioli with truffle, carbonara and al olio. All of them very tasteful. Also the waiter was very friendly and helpful.

Sehr geschmacksvoll eingerichtetes Lokal. Bedienung war sehr freundlich, die Speisen waren sehr frisch (Teigwaren und Salate). Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir würden es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
