What a mess we had here! Tuna residue on our pasta, dry and unfriendly service, and when we asked for more water, we just got an annoyed "yes." And all this at a completely exorbitant price. Honestly, I don't know how this place got such good reviews.

Dear Pasta Workshop, I wanted to leave you my review, even though I was a bit disappointed. We ordered the ravioli with panna cotta and spinach, as well as the ones with truffles. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the truffle ravioli, despite my aversion to truffles. However, the ravioli with panna cotta and spinach were disappointing. The filling tasted burnt and earthy. We ate here for the first time today. It was absolutely delicious! We had the spaghetti carbonara and aglio e olio. We haven't had such good pasta in ages! For dessert, we had the lava cake and an affogato. It was fantastic. We'll definitely be back!

Pasta La Norma... I'd recommend bringing your own spices to give it a taste. The sauce came straight from the bottle, nothing in it, no onions, absolutely nothing. Fried eggplant... I'd guess about 50g. Tiramisu consists of lots of whipped cream and a sponge base. Congratulations! Two pasta dishes, water for two, tiramisu split, €50 gone. What a shame, what a waste!

First and foremost, pasta is the order of the day! The food is truly excellent, very high quality, beautifully presented, and delicious. Service was very friendly, although they could have been a bit more attentive when asking for drinks. The atmosphere is very cozy, a little cramped. We'll be back!

Service was very friendly and accommodating. I found the menu a bit difficult to understand. We ended up wanting pasta with ham, Parmesan, and truffle and they overlooked the fact that we pointed for "Pinza" or something similar. Instead, it was pizza bread with the aforementioned topping. It tasted okay, but nothing special despite the ingredients. What really annoyed us was that the dish and price were listed on the right, and the recommended toppings were listed on the left. We thought they would be included in the price, but there are no prices listed for the toppings. They really hit you hard. It was very expensive for what you got, and the way they were set up was total price-fishing, which I find pretty cheeky :/ We really wanted to try some good homemade pasta and walked quite a bit for it, but in the end, we left with a pretty bad, cheated feeling and a light wallet :/ I won't be coming back for the pasta, I can't recommend it.

⚠️ Extremely Disappointing Experience – Vegetarians Beware ⚠️ We specifically asked for vegetarian pasta. Based on the waitress’s assurance, I ordered the Amalfi Pesto (which she promised would be vegetarian) along with a Zucchini Pasta. The zucchini pasta was average, but they mistakenly brought two portions instead of one, and in both dishes the penne was undercooked. The biggest issue: the Amalfi Pesto pasta was served with meat, which we only realized after eating part of it. For vegetarians—or anyone with a meat allergy—this is unacceptable and potentially dangerous. To make matters worse, the waitress who took our order disappeared and was unavailable when we raised the complaint. Although they corrected the bill and did not charge for the wrong dish, the damage was already done. For someone who is vegetarian or allergic to meat, this kind of mistake is not just careless—it is alarming. Overall, a very disappointing and untrustworthy experience.

As always, the food was delicious, but that was about it. The glasses weren't clean, and the service was very inattentive. We asked several times for dessert...after half an hour, we finally gave up and paid.

I went to the Pasta Werkstatt today based on a recommendation. We were the only ones in the place, and yet the service was poor. The portions are very, very small, and we paid €65 for two people. The price-performance ratio is absolutely not right. We each ordered a portion of pasta, a Coke each, and shared bruschetta for starters. If the portions were reasonable and the taste was decent, then the €65 would be fair, but not under these circumstances. The pasta is homemade, hence one star, but it's still absolutely not worth a visit.

One large table for good communication, a great concept. The excellent Italian food is served with a smile. It's often packed with partygoers. A perfect restaurant all around. The fried gnocchi appetizer is highly recommended. Crispy, yet super juicy and delicious on the inside.

The food was delicious, but the service and atmosphere were disastrous due to the street festival taking place right outside. If we had been told beforehand that there was a festival going on that day, we wouldn't have come. As we were coming from out of town, we had no idea about the street festival. The toilets were filthy as everyone from outside went to the toilet there. It was so loud that you couldn't understand anyone at the table. We waited 20 minutes before we were even asked for a drink. There were no starters or desserts that day either. We found that very disappointing. Half the menu simply wasn't available. Half the dishes were already sold out by 6 p.m. Bread wasn't available until after we had finished eating. All in all, very disappointing considering the food was delicious. We just ate everything quickly and left again.

Had to wait an hour to get food today; the server promised us a ‘gift’ for making us wait then never gave us anything when we left and paid full price; food was mid and there was a piece of plastic from their sponge in the meat, very disappointed

Simply wow...a very, very nice owner who personally looked after us, gave us recommendations, and even said goodbye to us personally. Now for the food...it was amazing. A very tasty starter and the pasta was also fantastic. The tiramisu was perfect. We'll definitely be back and I can only recommend everyone to go there.

The menu is clear and concise, which I find very pleasant - no overloaded pages, but a well-thought-out selection of dishes. A real highlight for me is the carbonara - by far the best I've ever eaten! Authentic, creamy, perfectly seasoned and a real taste experience. Another plus: For a fair price you can also buy fresh pasta to take away so you can bring a piece of Pasta Workshop home. For me it's an absolutely deserved 5 stars - and a clear recommendation for all pasta lovers! A reservation is recommended as the pasta workshop is busy at certain times!

I was also confused because others were ordering coffee and the reviews here also mention desserts, but there was none of that on the menu we received. Oh well. The atmosphere was cozy, but unfortunately the music wasn't my thing.

I visited the pasta workshop for the second time. The ambience is really great. Unfortunately, on both the first and second visits it was noticeable that the service was not particularly friendly. On our last visit, a third person came later (after dinner). This was simply completely ignored. The food was okay but that could be better. Pasta itself was cooked very well, but both dishes lacked seasoning or taste. Very unfortunate.

Yesterday we walked past the pasta workshop, after a coffee at lunchtime the workshop came back to our memories. We were greeted warmly and easily got a table by the window. The ambience looks very inviting from the outside. The staff was very friendly and personable. The pasta was very tasty and was also well prepared. Price-performance ratio was perfectly fine. What I personally think is great is that the Pasta Workshop makes its own pasta and also sells it at the counter. Another positive aspect that I noticed at the checkout is that they participate in Too good to Go and sell excess food instead of throwing it away. Conclusion: great restaurant with good dishes and a relaxed atmosphere

The service was TOP because we ordered through Wolt and got our money back. We waited almost 2 hours for our food and then of course the pasta was cold and really bad, so I've never seen such a heartless portion of pasta with salmon before. My trash can was happy and so was the store we had to order from.

It was very delicious however take into consideration that the toppings are expensive and not in price included! You have to pay extra even though it isn’t shown on the menu. Be extra careful of the truffle‼️⚠️ Otherwise the staff was really really nice and kind. The portion were not too much but also not too small it was perfect size and it was served fast. So overall 4,5 stars

We tried the ravioli with truffle (burrata topping) and the rigatoni with salmon in a lemon-dill sauce - and it was simply delicious! We were particularly impressed by the truffle ravioli. The combination of truffle and burrata was perfect. You can tell straight away that the noodles are homemade. The rigatoni was also very tasty, with the fresh lemon dill sauce, which brought a pleasant freshness and lightness. Highly recommended! Another highlight was the service – super friendly and attentive.

I gave the Pastawerkstadt a second chance, I have to say the price is absolutely not justified. The portion is too small, everything costs extra, the taste is ok. As for the service, I have to say like last time, too loud, too rude. They were just talking too loudly behind the counter and I couldn't enjoy my food. The waitress took the plate away from me while I was still dipping my bread into it.

Seven of us spontaneously ate here. Service was very friendly, we didn't wait long for the food. We all had bread as a starter which was served with olive oil and olives. For the main course we all had pasta and for dessert the lava cake and tiramisu. Everything was very, very tasty and everything else that was on the counter looked delicious. At the end there was limoncello on the house for everyone. We can't say anything bad and go home satisfied and full.

The pasta tastes extremely good. The service was quick and friendly despite the restaurant being full. I ordered a veggie carbonara, which was with me a few minutes later. It was nicely presented, but without any unnecessary frills. I also drank an Italian beer (Peroni), which I also liked. I also have nothing to complain about in terms of price. Not super cheap, but also far from expensive. To end the evening I drank the house white wine. Well what can I say, exactly... I also liked it very much. Definitely one and worth more visits 😁 Big praise to the whole team, including the boss.

My daughter chose the restaurant. We were in Cologne for the first time. Great ambience and very, very good food. Very friendly staff. The starter...(gambas in mango chili sauce was a hit). The price/performance ratio is also very good. When I'm back in Cologne, I'll come back.
