As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the staff’s friendly, warm smiles , it set the tone for the amazing meal. The food was absolutely delicious, and I loved the flavors so much. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes next time!

I don't know about the taste of the food, but if a customer who came later says they are in a hurry, the customer who came earlier is put on the back burner. It's a shame that there are no rules in this restaurant.

Very friendly staff, relatively small. You can also sit outside, but then you're right on the street. The food was delicious.

I ordered mooping (pork satay) and pad kimao (spicy thai noodle) and it was definitely authentic and delicious. Spicy, the way I like it! Staff is really attentive and friendly. Recommended place!

If you want to eat Thai food in Leipzig, you will find excellent food and extremely friendly service in the Tuk-Tuk Thai Restaurant. We went here on a Saturday evening with 5 friends and everyone really enjoyed the authentic Thai dishes. Here again a big compliment to the kitchen! The price level is also completely acceptable despite the central location in the southern center. All in all, including the great exotic cocktails, a perfect evening! The Tuk-Tuk Thai Restaurant certainly hasn't seen the last of us.

Great selection of Thai food. Local wines, as a contrast, are a nice addition. The restaurant was busy on a Friday evening, so reservations are definitely recommended.

Es war nur eine Servicekraft da und wahrscheinlich auch nur ein Koch. Wir haben schnell unser Essen bekommen und es war wirklich lecker. Die Preise waren dementsprechend gerechtfertigt, es wurde sich wirklich viel Mühe gegeben, auch beim Anrichten.

Sehr freundliches und hilfbereites Personal. Sehr gutes und empfehlenswertes Essen zu moderaten Preisen. Einzig etwas störend abends die ständig ankommend und abfahrenden Lieferservice-Pkw's vom Pizzaservice gegenüber.

Im Tuk Tuk geht die Geschmacksfahrt richtig los. Die Speisen sind richtig lecker und frisch zubereitet. Die Bedienung ist freundlich geht auch auf Sonderwünsche ein.

Had here in Leipzig Thai restaurant Table reserved outside. We had us with good friends (from Munich) here in the evening have an appointment. Very friendly service and also had to after ordering not long for our drinks, Appetizer and food waiting We all had a very good time tasted, you can continue recommend. And that's why 5 Stars.

Hatten hier in Leipzig im Thailändischen Restaurant einen Tisch draußen reserviert. Wir hatten uns mit guten Freunden (aus München)am Abend dann hier verabredet. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und mussten nach der Bestellung auch nicht lange auf unsere Getränke, Vorspeise und Essen warten. Es hat uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt,kann man weiter empfehlen. Und deswegen auch 5 Sterne.

My Thai side was well taken care of👍 The duck salad is very tasty, just like my Thai mother would cook❤️ Looks like a family business (small staff). If it gets busy, the service might take a while, I would assume, but it's definitely worth it.

I chose a dish from the lunch menu (€8.50) and unfortunately I can only agree with the rating below. I studied in Thailand for 2 1/2 years and unfortunately I couldn't detect any Thai flavor in the dish. I would recommend a Vietnamese restaurant. Oh dear, what can I say? It's disappointing quite well, but based on other reviews it's probably good enough for Germans. I've spent half my life in Thailand and I can tell you: It has nothing to do with real Thai food. Thai food after a long time. I ordered tom yum soup with coconut milk, rice, and a lychee shake. My companion had the red curry duck meat from the lunch menu and a coconut shake. The shakes seemed to be made after receiving the order, so they were both very fresh and tasted light, not too sweet, but full of flavor. The soup includes two plump shrimp, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, etc. In addition to rice, it seems that you can order noodles, so it seems like Tom Yum Noodles will also be possible. By the way, the toilet was also very clean and safe to use. After paying the bill, he smiled and clasped hands with me, making me want to visit Thailand as well. I will come again 🇹🇭✨

I often went there with colleagues early on, despite the unfriendly service. It's a restaurant where you get your food thrown on the table if you accidentally spill the candle oil, even though we apologized several times. A restaurant where you feel like a beggar. Never a smile, vicious service. I have never had such an experience. Unfortunately, my young child witnessed this. Never again in life!

We had a delicious meal and had a pleasant time.

The ambience was inviting and cozy, the staff was extremely friendly and attentive and the food was simply phenomenal. Each dish was expertly prepared, with fresh ingredients and a perfect balance of flavor and texture. The dishes presented were not only a delight for the palate but also for the eyes.

Today was my first time at TUK TUK Thaifood and I was thrilled. The atmosphere was authentic, the service was friendly (nice) and very unobtrusive. I really enjoyed the food and, to me, it tasted like Thailand. For starters, I had the fresh summer rolls, very fresh, crispy, and delicious. For main course, I had the 34, chicken with garlic, chili, and vegetables. This dish was rated 3🌶️🌶️🌶️ and was, as I had hoped, pleasantly spicy 😅. Everything was nicely presented. The portions were generous, and the prices were completely reasonable. The ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ are well deserved. It's worth the trip here, even though it's only 500 meters from the center. I'll definitely be back.

This restaurant leaves a lot to be desired in terms of service and food quality. I don't really recommend a visit there. However, I have to say that I didn't give the restaurant a second chance.

Incredibly authentic Thai dishes. We went to TUK TUK for the first time today and were very impressed with the food. Would love to come back.

Bad service, the waitress looked at us badly for not ordering drinks, she was not friendly at all. The food was bad for us, everything was too spicy, we couldn't even eat it (we are used to eating spicy food). Very high prices. Something good to note is that they were fast with the orders but hey, we were alone in the store.

My favorite Thai in Leipzig ❤️ Very aromatic - you can taste the lemongrass. And at the same time a pleasant spiciness. Very cozy. Even with places outside in the summer and cozy and warm in the winter. The service was always friendly - I've been coming to TukTuk for over 5 years 🙏

Always tasty and nice service. That's how it has to be. Ambiete is not an immersion in the Far East, but everything fits.

At the time of our visit, there were still many tables free. But even when the tables were full, there was still enough space and you didn't feel cramped. It was neither too stuffy nor too loud. Conversation during dinner was possible at a normal volume. The service was attentive, but an occasional smile wouldn't have hurt. The food arrived quickly and was very tasty and authentic, although perhaps a bit too salty in places. Furthermore, it seemed as if the coconut milk and curry had been "extended" with regular cow's milk.

Bei unserem Besuch im TUK TUK Thaifood waren wir von der Authentizität und der Vielfalt der Speisen beeindruckt. Jedes Gericht war ein Geschmackserlebnis, und die Aromen der thailändischen Küche kamen perfekt zur Geltung. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und aufmerksam, und die Atmosphäre war eine gelungene Mischung aus traditionellem und modernem Design. Die Preise waren angemessen, und die Portionen großzügig. Manch negative Bewertung kann ich nicht verstehen. Das Essen schmeckt auch in Thailand in verschiedenen Regionen anders. Aber Papayasalt und Pad Thai waren geschmacklich top, auch die Schärfe im Salat 👌. Wir kommen gern wieder. Preislich auch alles ok.

Wer den Vergleich mit dem Original in Thailand machen kann dürfte es wohl schwer haben nachzuvollziehen, weshalb mehrere Vorrezensenten von Originalgeschmackserlebnissen sprachen, die sogar Expats anlocken sollen. Am Abend des Besuches wurden uns aufgewärmtes TK-Gemüse und schon deutlich vorher vorbereitetes, trockenes Fleisch vorgesetzt, welches mit Fertigsoßen ergänzt wurde. So blieb die Enttäuschung nicht aus. Es bleibt die Hoffnung, dass Leipzig das noch besser kann.

Wir waren spontan im TUK TUK essen. Die Bedienung war sehr schroff und nicht einladend freundlich. Man hat sich nicht willkommen gefühlt. Das Essen ist sehr einfach und kenne ich so aus Thailand nicht. Teilweise sehr vesalzen und die Suppe war eher nur ein Brühwürfel und sehr fad. Die Einrichtung ist traditionell und sehr persönlich. Daher könnte es eigentlich so schön sein, wenn das Essen und der Service auch so positiv wären. Wir werden hier nicht noch einmal essen.

Sehr lecker und der Milchshake ist einfach super :)

Das Pad Thai war ziemlich enttäuschend.. hat sehr an Würze gefehlt (vor allem die Säure der Tamarindensauce vergeblich gesucht) und es war recht trocken. Das andere Gericht (Pad Prik Geang?) war zufriedenstellend und empfehlenswert. Unsere Getränke (u.a. Thai Eistee) waren solide. Es gab eine Servicekraft, die nur das Allernötigste kommuniziert hat, kaum auf Nachfragen eingegangen ist und Blickkontakt fast vermieden hat - kam schroff rüber. Eine andere Servicekraft war hingegen sehr höflich.

Good Thai food in German style. I am Thai so my standard is higher.

Preislich lohnt sich die Mittagskarte auf jeden Fall (durchschnitt 7-8€ pro Gericht), aber auch ohne Mittagskarte sind die Preise vollkommen okay. Das rote Curry war leider (trotz Auszeichnung als scharf) gar nicht scharf und auch beim Phad Thai haben mir persönlich Geschmack, sowie die beiliegende Limette und Möglichkeit zum selbst nachwürzen gefehlt. Trotzdem eine schöne Location mit super freundlichen Personal, aber nicht mein liebstes Thai-Restaurant.

Tische sehr locker gestellt, dadurch ruhiges und sehr angenehmes Ambiente. Deko bissl wild zusammengewürfelt aber wirklich mit Charme. Bedienung dezent, sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich, wirklich super. Essen sehr lecker, Mengenverhältnis sehr gut. Preise wirklich mega, ein top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir hatten gestern spontan Lust auf Thai Food. Das Ambiente war eher schlicht aber mit netter Dekoration aus Thailand ausgestattet. Das Restaurant war relativ leer so erfolgte der freundliche Service schnell und aufs Essen musste auch nicht lange gewartet werden. Die Wan Tan als Vorspeise waren sehr lecker die Hauptspeisen waren auch gut aber nicht herausragend. Der scharfe Tofu war zwar schmackhaft aber weit entfernt von authentischer Thai Schärfe. Das Phad Thai war auch lecker aber hier fehlte der letzte Feimschliff. Grundsätzlich ist das Restaurant jedoch sehr zu empfehlen allerdings fehlte für eine 5 Sterne Bewertung noch ein bisschen was.

Mittlerweile unser Lieblingsthai. Auf Anfrage gibt es unser Phad Gra Pau auch gehackt und geschmacklich genau wie in Thailand. Über eine extra Karte mit 8-10 original Thaigerichten wäre super...vielleicht kommt das ja noch. 😉

Thai Restaurant mit schöner Einrichtung. Die Gerichte sind sehr ansprechend zubereitet und angerichtet. Geschmacklich sehr gut. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. 5 Sterne für diese Leistung.

Mein erster Besuch im Tuk Tuk und ich kann es vorweg nehmen ich komme gerne wieder. Sehr schmackhafte Küche dazu freundlicher Service und preiswert dazu!

Das Essen war wirklich ausgesprochen lecker! Zudem gab es ein großes vegetarisches Angebot, welches mir gut gefallen hat. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich und hat unsere Wünsche professionell umgesetzt. Die Einrichtung war zum Wohlfühlen und hat den Aufenthalt perfekt abgerundet. :)
