Come here, you will not regret it. Anybody who ordered the chicken and didn't like it is a fool. Not only your tummy will be exhilarated, your ears will be massaged gently by ethereal sounds creating a ubiquitous ambience of taste.

My favourite place in this area, delicious Japanese specialties! Your tuna onigiris really bring me back to Japan every time I try it, great variety of Japanese drinks - yuzu sodas, green tea etc. The place is tiny and gets really crowded during the lunch time on weekdays between 12 and 2 pm. The personnel is very welcoming and friendly.

Ordered the chicken bowl through Neo taste. Decent portion of chicken, overall very well balanced proportions. The chicken was juicy and full of umami, the vegetables were delicious and the potato salad was a very tasty surprise. ごちそうさまでした！

Very tasty food, but very long waiting times. Orders placed through delivery services are likely to be given priority. We have over 40 Waited minutes even though we were there and eating.

The BEST Japanese in Berlin! The chicken is cooked fresh every order so it comes out hot and juicy! The atmosphere is nice (good music) and the staff are very friendly! They often have specials, when I last visited I tried the chicken vegetable soup and it was so good!! I also recommend the chicken namban! There is a good choice of drinks, Japanese beer, Japanese sake, and really nice lemonade. Also a vegan chicken option!

Vegan Fried Chicken is delicious but quite fatty. The portions are quite small for the price. Sauces are something new, which I think is good. Employees were always friendly!

Amazing! Delicious food and super kind service. I was allowed to take the ramen in its bowl with me and give it back after finishing, because I wasn’t planning on staying to eat since my father works right next to this store. The prices are perfect.

We ordered this online so cannot comment on the customer service or atmosphere. The potato salad was a 10/10 for me, I looove Japanese potato salads and this totally hit the spot for me. The chicken was okay. The batter was a little wet and also powdery, but the chicken was decently moist. Perhaps it wasn’t fried long enough for the batter to get really good and crispy, or perhaps it was because I couldn’t eat it fresh as it was delivered. Loved the little garnish of pickled radish, and also enjoyed the sauces paired with the chicken.

The Karaage is a revelation - ignore Goldies opposite, the taste discovery is waiting right here.

I live in the area so I see this place all the time when walking through the street. It looks nice and cozy and the reviews are good so I thought I’d give it a try, using a discount from the neotaste app. Even with this app, it was a waste of money. First of all you have to wait because they only have one cook and making the chicken can take a while if it’s full. But now we come to the main issue, which is the food itself. You pay ~ eight euros for a few small pieces of chicken and the worst part is that this chicken is extremely fatty and squishy, with barely any actual meat on it. Most of it was just squishy breading. The money is better spent at a local kebab or plain KFC.

I love karaage. This one was good but I found another place that suits my taste of karaage better. I accidently ordered them with rice as a force of habit. They didn't have rice as a side on the menu but gave it to me anyway

Food was amazing, we had the karaage and vegan karaage bowls. Vegan option tasted great, one of the best meat substitutes I've had. Also the taru taru mayo was amazing. Cute vibe although the benches were a little unstable

If anyone in Berlin has not yet tried the Nanban Chicken dish, you indeed are missing something. Delicious fried chicken too, if you don't want rice.

KFC in better Very hospitable service and authentic. I'm not a fan of onigri but the tuna sesame is extremely tasty and, above all, very fresh. Safe best onigri in Germany

Vegan karaage is good but best to be shared given its heavily fried. Wait time is around 15-20 min. Staff can be a bit more friendly.

Small bistro type gastro with few inside and outside seatings. Had the Chicken Karaage with unfortunately french fries. Onigiri was sold out. Fries were store bought but it was okay. But this rating is mainly for the chicken Karaage which was truly exceptional + the Taru Taru sauce (mayo-egg) maybe cuz it was made by true Japanese? 😌

Amazing karaage which has vegan and chicken as an option, nice seating outside if the weather is good and limited (maybe 5) indoor spots if not, but you can get take away as well, and many do! Good timing on the food, wasnt too much of a wait at all despite the fact we werent the only ones waiting. highly recommend if you are in the area!

Small business with amazing food, cross thin cut fries, vegan chicken is maybe the best in town, sauces are on point and the miso soup is sooo tasty. They also have a bunch of very tasty onigiri (rice and filling are 10/10). All comes in cute little baskets. The owners are super friendly and welcoming! Always a recommended visit!

I eat here regularly and am a real fan. The chicken is consistently delicious and miraculously (and compared to other fried chicken places) not greasy at all. I think the portion size is ideal for filling you up and I particularly like that there is onigiri as a side dish option. When you order, you can't choose which type you get, but they're all delicious, so it's not that bad. The vegan Taru Taru is also a hit and I can also only recommend the potato salad. All in all, an absolute gain in the Berlin food cosmos! 🏆

Me encanta este local porque es bueno, bonito, asequible y delicioso. El local en si es pequeñito, pero en verano ponen mesas afuera! Mi favorito es el bowl (arroz, verduras, pollo frito....). El pollo frito tiene un adobado delicioso, está muy bien hecho, el oniguiri también es imperdible. En invierno lo mejor es acompañar tu comida con un Sake caliente 🍶, también ofrecen cervezas japonesas como Asahi. Destaco al staff y sobretodo la chica que atiende en caja. Excelente y rápido servicio y además siempre tienen buena música, jeje💕

Honestly, (I only had the chicken) the best fried chicken spot in Berlin! Chicken is always freshly battered and friend, juicy dark meat... delicious sauces. The batter is flaky and light, making for a perfect bite. Could not recommend more to come and try it out. What more can you ask for!

Das kleine japanische Streetfood-Restaurant hat schöne Athmosfer und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Allerdings war ich ein wenig enttäuscht von Chicken und Pommes, die ich mir bestellt habe. Das Hühnchen hatte nicht den besonderen Geschmack, den man von einem solchen Restaurant erwartet. Es fühlte sich an, als könnte man etwas Ähnliches bei KFC bekommen. Die Pommes waren leider sehr trocken und knusprig, obwohl ich normalerweise knusprige Pommes mag. Man kann dort essen, aber es ist wichtig zu wissen, dass es nicht besonders ist.

Mit WOLT bestellt: Wahrscheinlich das schlechteste und minderwertigste Fleisch, dass ich gesehen habe. Essen konnte ich es jedenfalls nicht.

Tsu tsu is an affordable yet amazing Japanese restaurant that has extremely hospitable staff serving halal Japanese food for the first time in Berlin. I loved the Karaage and can't wait to be back here. The miso soup was simple yet so enjoyable, it was like a warm hug. The portion size was adequate. The ramen was great as well. The only comment I can make is hopefully the ambience improves in the near future and they relocate to an address where they can have indoor seating.

Me and my friend like their Karaage that we come here for lunch quite often. :) I’ve tried chicken with “fries” or “Onigiri” (rice ball) as side. My favourite sauce is Taru Taru, it’s a mixture of Japanese mayonnaise with chopped onions and boiled eggs. Sometimes the fries could be a bit salty tho. The vibe in Tsu Tsu is quite chill, the staff are friendly, with some cool music being played. It’s a small place with a few seating inside, while there are some outdoor tables too.

Super nice small Japanese place with the best Onigiri I have tasted in town and the fried vegan chicken is just sooooo good! My friend even said it was better than the normal chicken. The spicy sauce (I guess gochugaru sauce) and the vegan ranch are super yum as well. People there are also extremely friendly.

Bei Wolt das Huhn bestellt und leider alle Stücke nahezu oder vollständig roh, was bei Huhn absolut garnicht geht! Hatte man sich auch denken können da fast kalt angekommen und demnach wohl nie heiß gewesen. In den Rezensionen gesehen das es kein Einzelfall war. Auf Nachfrage bei Wolt wenigstens das Geld erstattet bekommen. Ich Hoffe hier wird in Zukunft deutlich mehr drauf geachtet. An die Kunden bitte checken ob euer Hähnchen durch ist. Pommes waren immerhin Okay aber nichts dolles.

Hier gibt es sehr leckeres japanisches Karaage! Wir hatten das Chicken und die vegane Variante, mit Beilagen (Onigiri und Kartoffelsalat). Die Auswahl ist gut, aber klein genug, dass alles wirklich hohe Qualität hat. Der Laden ist klein, aber man kann auch draußen sitzen. Leider gibt es keine Toilette, aber wir kommen garantiert für das Essen wieder :)

El pollo crujiente pero un poco insípido, no estaba sabroso a pesar de su buena textura, las papas estaban bien, comimos el onigori y tambien pensamos que le faltaba algo de sal y sabor. El lugar muy lindo y buenas vibras.

Der Laden wurde uns von anderen Veganern empfohlen, weil es hier ziemlich leckeres, veganes Hühnchen geben soll. Mussten wir natürlich direkt ausprobieren und haben zweimal Kara Age in Vegan bestellt. Die Portionen waren nicht die größten, aber dem Preis entsprechend - wir sind satt & glücklich geworden und beim nächsten Mal würden wir vermutlich auch die vegane Bowl probieren :-)

I do not know how you can call this meal Karaage. To be honest, worst karaage I have ever eaten in my life. How is it possible to make this simple meal this bad? I am very disappointed with quality of the food and price. there are many Japanese restaurant in Berlin and they do sell karaage as side dish. those taste much better than Tsu Tsu karaage. It is not authentic at all. only restaurant design is appearing but thats all.

Only tried the vegan fried chicken and the chips. The chicken didn’t really taste of anything and was quite greasy. Chips were okay, nothing special. Quite pricey for the portion size and quality.

Ogoshi saimas! This is so excellent fried chicken like you always will remember. I also don't like KFC, but those here are different, tasty and low fat fried. The place to eat for me in Berlin. Never.had so good food outside of Japan. The chicken breading is perfect cross outside, well spiced,.. and the chicken meat is jucy but not fat inside. With French fries and yummiest home made sauce it costs currently € 11 while a good döner Costa €8 This Restaurant is driven by a very honourable friendly family. See you soon.

Habe das Fried Chicken probiert. Die Portion war klein, aber fein. Das Chicken war saftig und sehr leicht vom Geschmack. Keine starken Würzungen oder deftige Saucen. Einfach ein sehr leichtes Chicken. Die Sides haben sehr gut gepasst und insgesamt die Box sehr schmackhaft gemacht. Das Ambiente ist sehr einfach und "Streetfood"-mäßig gehalten, aber dennoch sehr charmant. Einfach authentisch und japanisches Karaage!

When they first opened, they mostly had kare-age. Since then menu has expanded (and ... I think the kare-age has gotten better!).

I had the food from Tsu Tsu P-berg delivered to my place but unfortunately the marinate of the chicken has a fishy taste and the batter isn’t as crispy as their branch in Kreuzberg. Although the texture of the chicken is great, the marinate does not seem right to me. Also there isn’t their menu options on wolt delivery.

I get the Nanban bowl for lunch at least once a week, it’s consistent and full of flavour, the chicken is juicy and not overpowering, the salad lightens everything up. I’ve tried getting the classic Karaage a few times and whenever I eat it there I love it, but when picking it up for take-away I find that the quality of both taste and consistency is not the same for some reason.
