TSG Gaststätte in Augsburg

In terms of location, this would actually be the best beer garden in Augsburg. Unfortunately, there isn't much on offer in terms of quality. The so-called Aperol Spritz is mixed using an original Aperol bottle. But it tastes like a juice and champagne spritz. That's pretty bold. I hope for new tenants or a rethinking of the existing tenants.

A lovely beer garden in the heart of town. We sat inside this time, though. While it's quaint, it's very echoey, making conversation difficult. The service has been better, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend the Kässpatzen (cheese spaetzle).

We were here last Sunday. The BBQ ribs were incredibly delicious, and the pork roast was simply melt-in-the-mouth! To finish off, we had some truly delicious desserts. The atmosphere was relaxed and cozy. The service was super friendly. We'll definitely be back and would happily recommend it!

This was my third time at Rheingold in Augsburg this year and it remains my favorite stop when traveling from Dortmund to Augsburg or Munich. The service is always outstanding, the staff is very friendly, attentive and makes you immediately feel at home and want to come back again and again. The ambience is cozy and inviting, perfect for a pleasant break. I particularly appreciate the fair prices, which are simply convincing in combination with the high quality of the food and drinks. I can only warmly recommend the Rheingold and am already looking forward to my next visit!

To be honest, today was a disaster. Only junk food like currywurst with fries with the cheapest sausage and terrible sauce, fries that become tough when eaten, sausage salad... that has been sitting around in the packaging for ages, bad HB beer (we would have such good Augsburger beer or Zusmarshausener, regional ones ) and white wine spritzer from the bottle with rosemary aroma, it couldn't be worse, but prices are like in the restaurant. It's a shame that Mr. Fischer has let the beer garden deteriorate so badly.
