Ein sehr schöner und insbesondere schmackhafter Abend für 9 Gäste in der Trattoria Villa Toscana. Superfreundlicher Inhaber, der auch mal zu einem Scherz aufgelegt war. Viel gab es nicht zu kritisieren - egal ob Vorspeise Hauptgang oder auch Dessert - alles bestens. Kleiner Kritikpunkt: 10 Gäste in dem kleinen "Separee" war nicht die ideale Wahl - dafür ist die Akustik dort zu schlecht und die Unterhaltung untereinander leidet doch sehr.

We (three of us) were at the restaurant for the first time. Our pre-booked table was free, but the food took an hour to arrive! Okay, we expected a wait at 7:00 PM on a Sunday, but an hour is definitely too much. The food was decent, if a bit bland (spaghetti/tagliatelle with salmon + bruschetta/goat cheese salad) – the "Greetings from the kitchen" + grappa at the end are now standard. The noise level in the tent = outside area just about bearable.

We visited this restaurant again yesterday after a long absence because the outdoor area was being completely renovated. We spent a very pleasant evening there with friends. The pizza was delicious, as the dough was crispy and not soggy as is often the case. The other two chicken dishes were good, but the portions could have been a bit more generous for the price. Otherwise, everything was very good. From a small greeting from the kitchen to the attentive service. The house schnapps served at the end rounded off the whole experience on a positive note. We will definitely be back, at least in the outdoor area if the weather is nice, as the acoustics inside are extremely loud. See you next time!

In my opinion, the food is okay. But nothing more. My pizza was thin, and the toppings were just as thin. A few sliced mushrooms, as well as artichoke pieces, were scattered across it. The ham and salami were arranged neatly. I found €14.50 a bit steep for that. The value for money isn't right here. An espresso for €3... how much is the material used here? As I said, it's okay. That's it, from my perspective. I'm not going back.

We were there for the second time and unfortunately, this time we were a bit disappointed. The food wasn't particularly special. The asparagus was extremely thick, there was only a third of the fish on the plate, and the truffle sauce had a hint of truffle flavor, but you couldn't really see any real truffles. The quality isn't really justified for the price. Unfortunately, we won't be going back. Italian???

A superb restaurant. The food was exceptional. I've rarely eaten such fresh and delicious food. So 5 stars ONLY because I can't give more 😂 Eating here is really worth it, whether as a couple or with the whole family. Very hospitable and a great team. Thank you for everything 😍

I was here last week with friends, and I have to say, it was outstanding. We received a warm welcome, and the food was excellent. Even my small special requests were accommodated and perfectly executed by the chef. We had pizza, chicken with asparagus and rosemary potatoes, prawns with salmon, tiramisu, and hot figs with vanilla ice cream. Everything was delicious and very attractively presented. We were more than satisfied and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Never again! The food is completely overpriced for the quality. We both had tomato soup as a starter, then gorgonzola pasta and rump steak and dessert. The food seemed like it was bought ready-made/not homemade. The vegetables were frozen food, the pasta in Gorgonzola sauce seemed bland and not very inviting. There was also a piece of ham in the vegetarian dish. We asked the waiter about it and he wanted to ask in the kitchen. Nothing more came of it. No apology, just nothing. After that, only one other waitress came to us. The rum steak was ok, but the desired cooking point (really well done) was not reached even after improvements, it was still slightly pink. For the hefty price, a different quality should be offered here. The dessert (Sicilian ice cream with candied fruits) was not homemade, but a finished product and tasted chemical. Far too expensive for that too. In the middle of eating on the covered terrace, the roof was raised, everyone looked puzzled because it was getting significantly cooler (mid-May). Almost as if you were slowly inviting the guests home. The waiting times until someone came to the table or until the food came were also far too long. We're never coming back. For us the worst Italian in Erkelenz.

I don't even know where to begin with this exceptional restaurant: the delicious and high-quality food, the warm and friendly atmosphere, the outstanding service, and the excellent hospitality. We are extremely pleased with the birthday we celebrated there, and our guests were very pleased too. Freunde hatten uns zum Essen eingeladen. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 8 Personen und hatten für 18.00 Uhr reserviert. Der Service ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig, obwohl die Kellner ständig an unserem Tisch vorbei kamen und auch gesehen haben, dass die Getränke leer waren, wurde kein Service angeboten. Um kurz nach 20 Uhr fragten wir höflich, wann denn unsere Hauptspeise serviert würde - unhöflich wurde uns erklärt, dass noch 2 Tische vor uns dran wären! Keine Entschuldigung und auch keine Erklärung :- ( Die gleiche Antwort hörten wir dann auch als ein Nebentisch nach dem Essen fragt...... So geht man nicht mit Gästen um. Wir werden dort nicht mehr essen gehen.

Meine Bewertung wie immer in kurzen Worten. Vorab wir kannten die Villa Toscana bereits durch vorherige Besuche. Diesmal waren wir am ersten Weimachttag dort und wurden wie immer nicht enttäuscht. Lokation: 7/10 Lage: 6/10 Speisen: 9/10 Getränke: 8/10 Service: 9/10 Preis/Leistung: 8/10 Kurzum: Auf der "abgespeckten" Weihnachtskarte war für jeden etwas dabei und die Speisen waren wirklich gut. Leider war der Lärmpagel im sehr vollen Vorzelt grenzwertig und die Parkplätze matschig, da sie nicht befestigt sind.

We came across this very nice Italian restaurant by chance and have to say that it is in a fantastic location. The staff very friendly and accommodating. The food was damn tasty and good. The dessert was also damn delicious. Dogs are welcome and are also provided with water. The toilets very clean. The inner courtyard is totally loving and certainly totally romantic in summer/autumn.

An diesem Freitagabend waren wir mit den Arbeitskollegen dort. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, schnell und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war schon nach kurzer Wartezeit bei allen gleichzeitig auf dem Tisch. Meine Pizza war lecker. Ich weiß auch das die armen Gastronomen sparen müssen aber für 14,50 € hätte ich einen vernünftigen Pizzaboden und vor allem viel mehr Belag erwartet.

First there was a greeting from the kitchen, a small bruschetta, then a mixed appetizer platter. Pork fillet tips were eaten with rosemary potatoes on a tomato pepper sauce. The meat was on point, rosemary potatoes were good and the beans too. Spaghetti aglio olio with pepperoncini was spicy as described on the menu (less would have been more so that you could still taste the rest of the ingredients). The tortelli with burrata on beef carpacho was very tasty. Unfortunately the panna cotta was still a bit frozen on the inside when it came to us but the chocolate cake was on point. The service was very friendly and accommodating. You can always criticize something, but for me mistakes are human. This is already in a higher price category so I say we'll come back and test it again so as not to judge too quickly 😉. I'm giving 4 stars (food) ahead of time with room for improvement. Top, the weekly menu with fresh dishes. * Everything tasted very good.

I drove past very often and said to myself that you have to eat here. Isolated in a forest. Yesterday on October 26th, 2024 the time had come. I have to say it was wonderful, great service and value for money were OK. The food was plentiful and super tasty 👍 I'll keep it up and we'll be happy to come back. 👍👍👍

Overall the experience was definitely okay. The pizzas were good to eat and there is a large parking lot right next door. What actually bothered us was the noise in the dining room and the significantly above-average waiting times. I think the prices for the food are absolutely reasonable, but I find €4.90 for a 0.4L cola very, very expensive. Maybe we were just unlucky today because there was a closed group outside. The food was definitely good.

I was very disappointed. Canned vegetables on the pizza. Cutting the pizza with knives on the porcelain plates was very difficult. The sauce for the pork medallions was a convenience product. The wine is too warm. The service polite but not friendly. Only one person was asked how it tasted. There was a smell of toilet cleaner in the air almost the entire time. The Pizzeria Toscana in Dremmen makes better pizzas. I don't know why I wanted to come again. I'd rather visit a Portuguese next time. I make THIS Italian cuisine better! No, non mi ha piacuto! Vegans not welcome! It's never happened to me before that I didn't get anything to eat (except a salad) at an Italian restaurant. Spaghetti prepared with egg, bread and tomato sauce with butter! Very disappointing!! However, everyone else I was in the restaurant with was satisfied with their respective dishes.

Unfortunately I have to revise my rating extremely. The service is underground. Despite telephone inquiries and verbal confirmation when reserving a table, the door to the street was not opened for me as a wheelchair user. I should eat outside. (All other customers ate inside) That was it for me with you. Of course, I will also make this known in my personal environment. We then had another delicious and wheelchair-friendly meal

The steaks were excellent and so were the stuffed pasta with chanterelles from the daily menu. The staff is very friendly. The online table reservation was confirmed directly by email and the reservation on site was prepared. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

Good food and nice staff. To Ms. Pruefert, I can't judge whether the squid rings were cooked, but I can vouch that the squid comes fresh from the Erkelenz Ziegelweiher and is served fresh. Despite the restaurant being full, excellent service and great food from A like starter to B intermediate course to Z main course. Keep it up. Yesterday August 10th We were there in the evening with 15 people. The place was packed. 1A service, everything went great even though there were more people than registered. The food was great. Despite making a reservation early, there was no table available for four people in our name. Totally overcrowded and crammed together. The cola tasted like water, we then complained and got new drinks, same effect. Our ordered food arrived after 1 1/2 hours. OK, it worked, but it wasn't exhilarating. If I hadn't been so hungry, I would have gotten up and left. Villa Toscana used to be very good, but today it's just satisfactory. Too bad

The food did not correspond to the menu description and was too salty; only desert was okay. All family members had gastrointestinal problems the next day. Unfortunately not recommended.

Great and again and again!! Yesterday I had a dinner here with the family for my birthday with 21 people. I, as well as everyone else, were completely thrilled. The whole process was professional and everything was coordinated. There was a champagne reception, a greeting from the kitchen, a great starter platter and a delicious main course. Then came another highlight, the dessert plates. Despite the delicious, sufficient food, all the dessert plates were empty in a flash. All participants were completely enthusiastic. I would also like to highlight the very friendly and attentive staff. Many, many thanks to the owner couple and the entire team. It was unique!!!!! If possible, I would give even more stars. We enjoyed a romantic dinner for two this evening. The good or very good first: The service is extremely friendly and attentive. You're more likely to be TOO attentive than anything else. We felt in good hands and always looked after. Special requests were always taken into account. The ambience is ok. The inner courtyard is certainly the place to be in summer weather. The food is ok and nothing more. The price is right for me, but not for what you get. I'm happy to pay €50-100 per person for a good meal, but then everything has to be right. You can easily tell from little things like the aioli (some kind of white sauce with a mixture of spices), or the pizza roll or pizza dough (almost like a milk roll and no real taste - more like cardboard). The pasta could have used a little more depth in its taste ( Salt, strong tomato note, fresh tomatoes, basil, ...). You get a stable overall picture here, but nothing more. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio isn't quite right here. Other reviews are much better here, but unfortunately we couldn't fully confirm that today. Many thanks to the hospitality and attention of the staff. There is still room for improvement in terms of the food itself.

Starting with the warm welcome Bruschetta, which was very tasty, to the Steak Toscana for me and the Penne Alla Pollo for my companion, which was of course also very good and it is not a given that it tasted the way it did. The staff are very polite and they always pay attention to the guests, but without being intrusive. Top atmosphere. So we can only recommend it and we will definitely be there more often to dine and enjoy.

The table f.d. I reserved 2.3.24 via email. Shortly afterwards we were informed by phone that a reservation for 6 p.m. was not possible but only from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. We were happy to accept that. We were there promptly at 5 p.m. Before we ordered the aperitif and drinks, the Amuse Gueule was in front of us. The appetizer immediately followed. We were always kept an eye on us and as soon as the last bite was eaten, the plate was taken away. In short: at 6:02 p.m. we were "fed up" and constantly watching to see whether we would finally set off. It should be noted that my husband was able to take a look at the reservation book when we arrived - we were the third ones who had reserved for the 2nd. The food was good, but to enjoy it we will have to look for another location in the future.

Service and food are great. We had a very nice evening. Edit: 03/2024 We were there again today. It was fantastic again. Both the service and the cuisine. Here's another greeting to the kitchen. It was great. Everything we had was perfect. I personally had the seafood salad and then shrimp and salmon in white wine lobster sauce as the main course. I have rarely eaten better. An all-round successful evening. We will be back definitely.

A pleasant visit to the restaurant here. We had a good comparison because we had already been to a not so good Italian restaurant a few days before. The service here is attentive and the food is extremely tasty. We only have to make significant deductions for the tables that are far too close together. People have to squeeze through, it's far too loud to have a pleasant conversation. Otherwise recommended.

Arrived spontaneously (1st time) and got a table for two. Very friendly staff and not intrusive either. There was even a little greeting from the kitchen (bruschetta) before the starter ☺️. Nice table neighbors and a nightcap from the boss round off the successful evening. Great restaurant with excellent service, in addition to the great food as always, we had very courteous service today. Why? I decided on one of the two dishes presented orally… Fettuccine (black) with truffle sauce, tomatoes…. And here I apparently stopped listening properly. The food came and there were scampi on the noodle. Unfortunately, because I have a fish protein allergy, my eyes widened. When I said, completely embarrassed, that I couldn't eat that, the plate was immediately cleared away... and with kind words that it wasn't a problem, I was allowed to choose something else. My friend's food also went back to the kitchen and was kept warm so we could eat together. That's what I call great service. Thank you very much, dear Villa Toscana team.

We were there on Christmas Eve (yes, that's right, the restaurant has its own Team decided to open ) in Villa Toscana. Since our eldest daughter had only moved the day before, we as a family really enjoyed being able to spend such a great and relaxing evening. There was also an extra menu, but you could also eat from the normal menu. We all had an excellent meal, it was extremely tasty. The service was very accommodating and super friendly. Thank you for the lovely evening and we will definitely come back!!!

Very beautiful there. The food is very tasty, but unfortunately not enough for full-grown men. The service is quick, friendly and communicative. I have rarely experienced anything like this and was thrilled. The ambience is not to be despised either. Unfortunately we were there at a cold time of year. I would like to go there again in the summer. The prices are perfectly reasonable for the dishes. We were there with 4 adults and one child and paid just under €130 for all of us. All in all, a nice location where you quickly forget time.

Pizza war super, nur die Kalamaris in "pikanter Tomatensauce" waren wie beim Thailänder mit Stufe 3 Chilis. Völlig ungenießbar und von der Zähigkeit der Gummiringe wollen wir garnicht mehr reden. Wir haben darauf hin den Leiter angesprochen, es gab keinerlei Einsicht. Es wäre halt so, und drehte sich weg. Wir werden dort nicht mehr einkehren und lieber den" Alten Kuhstall" in Tenholt bevorzugen

Gestern hatten wir (7 Personen) einen sehr schönen Abend in Trattoria Villa Toscana. Festlich und gemütlich eingerichtet. Service Top - groß geschrieben. Und das Essen... Alles, was wir bestellt hatten, einfach lecker!!! Ich habe Steak bestellt, das Fleisch war so zart, daß es auf der Zunge zergannen ist. Die Vorspeise war ein Hammer!!! - Eine Antipastiplatte, in der Mitte ein Sektglass mit Oliven, Melonenspalten und Fischspiese. Nicht umsonst sagt man, dass "das Auge isst mit" . Nachtisch in einem italienischen Restaurant - natürlich Tiramisu. Das war einfach köstlich und als Krönung hatte ich den echten italienischen Expeso. Ich war das erste Mal in diesem Restaurant und komme jetzt noch öfter, zum das Menü durchprobieren. 🙂Vielen Dank an die gesamte Mannschaft für tolle Leistung!!!!

Wir hatten einen phantastischen Abend in der Trattoria Villa Toscana. Es war unser erster Abend in Erkelenz. Das Angebot ist sehr gut und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Gerichte waren typisch italienisch zubereitet. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön und der Service excellent.

Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt ,unsere eingeladene Gäste waren auch begeistert obwohl dass Restaurant wirklich bis auf letzter Platz ausgebucht war und wir auf unseren Reservierten Tisch warten müssten,das die Gäste ihre vorgegebenen Zeit stark überzogen haben.Trotzdem Inhaber sehr freundlich und hatte alles super gelöst. Wir waren zum zweiten Mal da, und waren wieder sehr Zufrieden. Sehr gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen, nettes Personal und super Service. Man fühlt sich willkommen. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder.

Wir sind schon sehr oft hier gewesen und waren immer zufrieden! Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, das Essen immer frisch und sehr lecker. Im Sommer sitzt man draußen viel schöner als im Winter drinnen, aber man hat das Beste aus den alten Räumlichkeiten gemacht.

Ein leckeres und authentisches italienisches Restaurant. Waren jetzt dort einmal um die Mittagszeit und einmal in der „normalen“ Abendzeit. Die Speisen zeugte von Qualität und die Wartezeit war gering. Alles in allem ein sehr zu empfehlendes Restaurant.
