Sehr teuer. Das Essen ist lediglich durchschnittlich. Getränkebestellung zu Beginn dauerte sehr lang. Vorspeisen wurden zusammen mit dem Hauptgang serviert. Pizza war lauwarm. Preis-/Leistung überhaupt nicht zu rechtfertigen.

The food was okay and the portion size was sufficient. Unfortunately, there wasn't much of the expensive truffle in all four dishes. The service staff seemed to be understaffed as orders were forgotten several times.

Price performance was perfect, we had the Parmesan spaghetti and a chic pizza.

Wir waren gestern Abend im Santa Lucia zu 6 essen. Unsere Freunde warteten schon auf uns und wir setzten uns nieder. Es kam auch gleich mal ein Kellner und nahm unsere Bestellung auf. Darauf hin wurden wir auch nach dem Essen gefragt. Und jetzt ging es los, die Vorspeisen kamen vor dem letzten Getränk. Was für die Küche spricht aber nicht für den Service. Es waren keine ausgefallenen Getränke dabei ein paar Schorlen und 2 Bier. Naja die Vorspeisen waren auch zugegebenermaßen ganz gut. (Carpaccio, Vitello tornato) Wir saßen dann sage und schreibe mind. 20 Minuten vor unseren leeren Tellern bis diese endlich abgeräumt wurden. Auf neues Besteck für die Hauptspeisen warteten wir vergeblich. Das mussten wir dann selber holen. Dazu muss man sagen das zu diesen Zeitpunkt max. 5 Tische besetzt waren und mind. 3 Kellner im Restaurant. In der Zwischenzeit fragt ich, ob ich eventuell meine Hauptspeise ändern könnte. Von Pasta mit Ragu zu Pasta mit Meeresfrüchten. Also nur eine andere Sauce. Dies war anscheinend nicht möglich da unsere Essen ja angeblich schon fertig waren. Zu diesen Zeitpunkt standen die Vorspeisenteller wohlgemerkt immer noch am Tisch. 15 Minuten später kam dann das Essen. So, ist mein Essen jetzt 15 Minuten fertig in der Küche rumgestanden oder wie darf man das verstehen?! Die Pasta mit Ragu war dann naja und die Pasta aus dem Käselaib war trocken und langweilig. Nach dem wir fertig gegessen hatten warteten wir wieder locker mind. 20 Min. bis sich jemand erbarmte unsere Teller abzuräumen. Der Kellner fragte zwar obs geschmeckt hat, alls ich allerdings mit „naja es geht“ antwortete nahm er schnell die Teller und ging. War ihm anscheinend egal. Während unseres Aufenthaltes wurden wir kein einziges Mal gefragt ob wir noch was trinken wollen obwohl der Kellner (Mohammed glaub ich) mindesten 25 Mal am Tisch vorbei ging. Wir hätten gerne noch mehr konsumiert aber irgendwann hatten wir keine Lust mehr. Die Gläser waren einfach 1 Stunde leer und niemanden hat’s interessiert. Auch wenn die Kellner was gebracht oder abegräumt haben keine Nachfrage. Während dem Essen kann man in so einer Location schon erwarten das man gefragt wird obs schmeckt. Achja und wir hatten alle Pasta aber nicht mal da wurde gefragt ob wir vielleicht gerne Parmesan dazu hätten. Fazit: nettes Ambiente, miserabeler Service und durchschnittliches Essen. Da ich selber aus der Gastronomie komme ärgert es mich wenn ich mit Freunden einen schönen Abend verbringen möchte und es an so einfachen Dingen wie dem Service hapert. Kurz mal nachfragen ob noch jemand etwas trinken will oder ob alles in Ordnung ist, ist sicher nicht zu viel verlangt. In jeder Dorfkneipe ist der Service aufmerksamer.

We went here for lunch with the family. The food was delicious and the service was super friendly and accommodating. Especially with 3 children, we are happy when the waiting times in the restaurant are manageable and everything went pretty quickly here :) We'll be back soon!

We stopped in for lunch and found the service and food excellent! The menu is extensive and Mario our waiter and his support staff attentive to our every need. Try it you will love Trattoria!

A classic Italian restaurant in the city. Easy to reach on foot. The lunch menu with the business lunch is ideal for the lunch break. Both in terms of price and portions. However, the drinks are priced very high and the menu selection is not that big and the waiting time is too long. Nevertheless, the pizza is of the highest quality and the portions of the food are satisfactory, as is the friendly staff

I had a wonderful experience in this restaurant. Food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Pasta, lamb, fish everything top notch. Pizza and focaccia are my personal favorite! Just bear in mind that if you order choco soufflé dessert (as we did), you will need to wait around 20 min. I would definitely recommend visiting this place. And I personally would come back with my family.

Santa Lucia wants to play in the top league and they do that in an unsympathetic manner. The service is neither warm nor professional. You sacrificially take care of one table while forgetting three others. The food is good and you would like to eat it in a good atmosphere, even if there is still room for it in the top league. A lot went wrong during our visit and we agreed in the end. There are plenty of good, friendly Italian restaurants in the Stuttgart area and the Santa Lucia is more likely to convince people who need the fuss and have no idea about good quality. And if you're going to breathe while eating, at least be friendly. That would help

The two of us were there at lunchtime. The food was really very tasty (I had octopus as a starter and grilled squid as my main course). The portions are good. The service was nice, but you shouldn't be in a hurry as a lot of time passed between the starter and the main course. Would come again if I am in Stuttgart.

They brought rotten fish, it's just a shame

They brought spoiled fish in a dish, the fish stank to everyone sitting at the table, after we pointed out that the fish was not fresh, the senior waiter came and said that you will not pay for this dish... We waited about 40 minutes for the order, despite the fact that there were not many people, the impression after that was not pleasant for everyone, they left hungry :(, and there was no compensation at all I do not advise :(

I had to take a deep breath, verbally expressed my anger because the American couple at the next table had sugar blown into their bottoms, and we (couple aged 60) were not given any food recommendations at our repeated request. So we didn't order anything, the service was subpar, we were in the wrong place at the wrong time. 🙈

Today we went to the trattoria for lunch for the first, but not the last, time! Absolute recommendation for this great restaurant. The food was a dream and the staff was more than friendly! You also feel very welcome with a small child! A high chair was immediately provided, the porridge we had brought with us was made warm and there was also free pizza bread for the little one. Thank you for the great lunch with Italian flair right in Stuttgart!

Freundlich wurden wir vom herzlichen Service empfangen. In schönem Ambiente haben wir lecker gegessen (Rindertartar, Pasta mit Rinderfilet und Kalbskotelett milanese), perfekt zubereitet und zum Abschluss eine traumhafte Reise durch die Dessertküche, einfach köstlich. Und dazu immer wieder vom tollen Service gut unterhalten, gerne wieder.

Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant was a total failure for us. First we had to wait over an hour until we got our drinks after we asked again. Unfortunately, some of these were still wrong... There was bread for the starter at the tables next to us, but we didn't get any despite the long wait. The pizzas and the pasta tasted good at first glance, but both people who ate the pasta developed severe stomach pains shortly afterwards. So there was almost certainly something wrong with the pasta, which is quite an achievement when it comes to pasta with just parmesan. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio was in no way justified due to the lack of service and the intolerability of the food.

The food was okay, but I hoped for more. Unfortunately we didn't feel welcome. Absolutely not. The boss makes a nice impression, but nothing more comes of it. There was a plate for the typical bread with oil, we didn't get any bread, although the neighboring tables got some. My husband didn't get any parmesan with his pasta, although all the other tables got some. When we wanted to pay, we weren't offered limoncello and the same thing happened again. When we finished the main course, we were not offered any dessert, another drink or anything else. All in all, we had the feeling that we should get out of there as quickly as we came. We remember it negatively.

We have eaten here very often. This Italian is simply fantastic, very good food and staff is friendly, attentive. The thin-crust pizzas taste incredibly delicious. However, there is always something going on, so it makes sense to reserve in advance.

One of our regular restaurants for years. We'd love to come back too. However, probably not as often anymore. We were a little surprised at the significant increase in prices during our last visit. Compared to our other favorite Italian, which is in no way inferior to Santa Lucia in terms of quality and service, there is a clear difference.

We were four, the manager looked at us while talking to others. We waited at the entrance for 10min and didnt come to talk to us. So we just walked out and went to the next restaurant. We were at the restaurant two days ago for dinner. Dont know why he acted this way, The manager with the blazer and beard. Sorry but you just lost customers and i use to tell my friends to come here for dinner.. no more..

I must say our visit to this restaurant was simply fantastic. First of all, I would like to praise the operations manager, Tomaso, who not only does a great job but also takes exceptionally warm care of the guests. His attentiveness and kindness really made our evening special. The food was excellent. Every bite was a delight, and the variety on the menu was incredible. The quality of the dishes was really top and also something to behold. The wine selection matched our dishes perfectly. The ambience of the restaurant was cozy and inviting. The feel-good factor was really great and we felt very comfortable throughout the entire evening. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. We liked it so much that we will definitely come back. What an absolutely lovely evening! We went to the Trattoria Santa Lucia with nine people and we all loved the different dishes. The starters and the primi and secondi piatti were excellent, beautifully presented, well put together and, above all, super tasty. The selection of wines was also very extensive and good. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant and the service was courteous and friendly. A very big compliment to the operations manager Tomaso for his warm manner! We will all definitely be back.

Label fraud as a business model: Pseudo-Italians with decent cuisine at high prices. Buongiorno, prego, grazie - you hear these and other phrases about the Italian way of life all the time in Santa Lucia, but not from people named Giovanni, Vittorio or Luca, but from Cem, Hüseyin or Ali. The Italian-style menu contains numerous spelling errors, but these are put into perspective by the decent cuisine, albeit at reasonable prices: pizza or pasta for 20 euros will take a long time to find elsewhere. A culinary Disneyland: nothing is real except the illusion. Can be done, does not have to be.

Were there again on January 12, 2024. A short-term reservation was definitely possible. However, sitting at the “tables for two” is a bit cramped. The service was always polite and courteous. It is definitely an upscale restaurant. Charging EUR 24.50 for a starter is a clear statement. However, we were disappointed with the other starter, a lobster bisque. It tasted bland and there was no sign of anything remotely close to a piece of “lobster meat”. The two main courses were good but overpriced. Nevertheless we will come back.

Authentic Italian food in the upper pricing end

Wir waren an einem Samstagabend (mit Reservation) da, eine Woche vor Weihnachten. Alles war ausgebucht, jedoch war es ein gelungener Abend. Wir haben alle ein alkoholisches Getränk bestellt und teils eine Vorspeise. Zum Hauptgang haben wir Pasta und Pizza bestellt. Das Essen kam sehr schnell und waren nahehin die besten Pasta welche wir jemals hatten. Somit war es grossartig und würden auf jedenfall wiederkommen. Wir hatten sehr freundliches Personal.

Auf unserem Tagestrip in Stuttgart sind wir zufällig auf dieses Restauraunt gestossen. Da wir nicht Reserviert hatten mussten wir kurz warten. Der Service war ausgezeichnet, das Essen war auch sehrgut allerdings waren die Nudeln einbisschen übersalzt. Man merkte dass der Besitzer mit Herzblut dabei ist und alles Perfekt machen will. Werden ganz bestimmt wieder kommen. Grüsse aus der Schweiz.

Die Trüffelpasta waren sehr lecker und die Portion war ausreichend. Freundliches Personal. Es war sehr voll. Schönes Ambiente. Einziges Manko war die etwas zu laute Musik, so dass man sich ebenfalls sehr lautstark unterhalten musste.

When we asked for wine, they didin’t specify we’d have to choose between two sizes, we realized they chose for us the most expensive one when we paid. It took lot of time to order food despite the place wasn’t very crowded. The meat of the tartare wasn’t of the best quality, considering the price, and the KETCHUP on it was nasty. The risotto was undercooked and poorly made, not a dish that reflected the price. The shrimps tartare was good! With a bill of almost €150 (for 2 people) you’d expect a higher quality and a better service.

Der Service von Caro ist einfach nur einzigartig! Sie treibt dort richtig die Atmosphäre ( Singt gerne Che Confusione mit wenn es läuft.) voran und hat ein tolles Händchen für Empfehlungen der Karte. Ich war schlichtweg sehr begeistert. Zudem punktet die gesamte Trattoria mit der Location und dem tollen essen auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. Der Salat mit den Sesam panierten Hänchenstreifen war unglaublich lecker. Auch der Inhaber selbst bedient des Öfteren und ist immer aktiv. Kein Wunder wurde das Lokal von der Redaktion GastroTipps als eines der 9. besten Restaurants im Raum Stuttgart ausgezeichnet. Einfach die Champions League !

Service war hervorragend! Was mich aber definitiv stört ist ein Italiener der Pinsa oder Pizzas auf der Karte hat und nicht mal den Teig selbst macht. Bin überzeugt das der Pizza Teig auf keinen Fall frisch ist. Ich weiss von was ich spreche und kenne daher convenience Produkte von Schiff aus. Diesen Teig kann man nämlich fix fertig gebacken kaufen, belegen und in den Ofen schieben.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich! Endlich mal Italienisches Essen genossen! Wow einfach 🤩 komme sehr gerne wieder! 🙌🙌

Having lived in Italy for over a decade, the food was of good quality. However, the portions were extremely small and therefore overpriced! Service was slow, it seemed the place was understaffed!

Everywhere in this crazily busy area of Stuttgart was full, and this was one of few places with empty tables (which always says something in itself). It wasn't awful, just very average and expensive for what it was. Waiter (who was very personable, and with whom we had quite a conversation) tried hard to drag us up the wine list to more expensive options, but I resisted. Just doing his job, but not appreciated. Fettuccini with truffle had a fair amount of shaved truffle on it, but the pasta was overcooked. Sea bass with vegetables was perfectly pleasant, but underwhelming for €32. I suspect there's better in the area, but you either need to book, or be here earlier!

Sehe gute Trattoria mit sehr guter Küche in sehr guter Qualität. Freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Ich hatte einen schönen Abend und kann das Santa Lucia empfehlen.
