Wir waren als Mannschaft hier, das essen war top. Der Chef ist eine absolute legende und hat echt sehr guten Humor.

Diese Pizzeria ist einfach fantastisch! Die Pizza schmeckt unglaublich lecker – knuspriger Teig, frische Zutaten und große Auswahl. Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Highlight ist aber das Karaoke: super Stimmung, tolle Songauswahl und jede Menge Spaß. Perfekt für einen lustigen Abend mit Freunden. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Das Restauranterlebnis der besonderen Art. Der Service ist weltklasse. Der Kelllner ist super sympathisch und hat das Herz am rechten Fleck. Gegen Ende sangen wir sogar gemeinsam mit ihm Lieder und tanzten. Er fühlte dabei jede Strophe. Einen schöneren und lustigeren Abend, hatte ich noch nie an einem Montag in einer Pizzeria. Die Pizza Diavola war sehr fein. Die Größe sättigte auch Jungs mit großem Hunger, wie mich. Die Schärfe war perfekt, nicht tu scharf und nicht zu mild. Der Hugo Spritz und Limoncello Spritz waren sehr erfrischen und haben mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Hier passt einfach alles...eijooooo

Das Einzige, was mich gestört hat, war, dass meine Kreditkarte nicht funktionierte und ich bar bezahlen musste – Bargeld, das ich fast gar nicht dabei hatte. Das Essen war fantastisch, authentische italienische Küche. Am besten fand ich aber die Leute.

Hatten einen sehr schönen Abend mit Freunden. Essen war super lecker und Getränke und Essen wurde relativ schnell geliefert. Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und am Schluss gab es noch eine Karaoke Einlage wo wir alle mitsingen durften. War also ein sehr lustiger. Schöner Abend gerne wieder bis demnächst danke. Leckere Pizza und gute Stimmung!

Unsere Mädels hatten gestern ein Fußballspiel in St. Leon-Rot und wollten anschließend irgendwo essen gehen. Da wir nicht aus der Nähe sind (nähe München) haben wir mal Google gefragt und haben diese Restaurant gefunden. Da vorab bei der Abstimmung nicht alle mitgehen wollten wurde nur für 15 Personen reserviert. Als nach dem Spiel der Hunger doch bei allen sehr große wurde, waren wir auf einmal 30 Personen. Und hier zeigt sich woran man eine gute Wirtschaften erkennt: Obwohl das Lokal bis auf unsere 15 reservierten Plätze voll war, wurde sofort versucht Tische und Stühle zu organisieren um für alle Platz zu schaffen. Das Personal war zu keinem Zeitpunkt von unserem "Überfall" genervt, ganz im Gegenteil waren alle sehr fröhlich und höflich. Die Getränke wurden schnell serviert, und auch das Essen hat nicht lange auf sich warten lassen. Alles, von Salat über Nudeln und die Pizzen waren sehr sehr lecker. Wir bedanke uns nochmals das wir so nett aufgenommen wurden, und wenn wir mal wieder in der Nähe sind werden wir gerne nochmals vorbeischauen.

Hatte eine Pizza Diavola für 13,90€ Geschmacklich hat bei der Pizza meiner Meinung nach Salz gefehlt. Der Service war nett und höflich.Hat seine Pizza allerdings seeeeehr in den Himmel gelobt😅 Aber ich als Pizzaexperte kenne definitiv bessere.

Wir waren mit einem Team von fast 20 Personen dort. Wir hatten einen großen Tisch einen Monat im Voraus reserviert. Doch der Restaurantbesitzer hat unsere Reservierung verpatzt! Wir kamen pünktlich an und mussten feststellen, dass der große Tisch bereits besetzt war. Wir mussten eine halbe Stunde im Winter draußen warten. Währenddessen versuchte das Restaurant, Tische für uns zu organisieren. Einige von uns mussten sogar noch länger warten, bis sie einen Platz bekamen. Es sollte ein schönes Teamessen nach der Arbeit werden. Leider begann es so. Das Restaurant muss dringend an seiner Organisation arbeiten. Auch der Service ließ zu wünschen übrig; es dauerte ewig, bis wir die Speisekarte und unser Essen bekamen. Es war total Chaos…

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Abend mit sehr gutem Essen und einem tollem & aufmerksamen Service. Pizza und Pasta waren hervorragend und das Tiramisu ein Traum. Wir kommen wieder!

Yesterday, we visited St. Leon-Rot for the first time because of the nearby Battle Kart track. We chose this restaurant. We were greeted warmly at the entrance (though in English) and immediately shown to our table. We waited about 15 minutes, but unfortunately, no one came to take our order, so we called the server ourselves. The drinks arrived after another 15 minutes or so. We finished our drinks relatively quickly, and no one thought to ask if we wanted anything else. We had a reservation for 7 pm, but the food arrived at 8:30 pm, only after we asked, as we had to leave quickly for the Battle Kart. Unfortunately, we then had to eat very quickly. The pizza, pasta, and salad were good and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, we were hardly ever asked if everything was alright or if we wanted more bread with our salad, etc. Therefore, we're deducting points for service and the wait time. With this review, we want to offer suggestions for improvement, as the restaurant definitely has potential. :) Best regards, Aleks

Last Sunday, we visited the trattoria with a large group of 40 people. As always, the food was fantastic, and the service was friendly and excellent. Despite the large number of guests, Fabio and his team had everything under control, remaining consistently friendly and attentive. His singing added to the special atmosphere – a thoroughly enjoyable evening and a clear recommendation for a very passionate host who lives and breathes what he does! Fabio, keep up the great work! ;-)

We had a wonderful meal... Appetizers were excellent Main course was great Drinks were fantastic Unfortunately, we didn't have room for dessert. We were so full! 🤪👍

We had dinner at L' ITALIANO yesterday and received a very warm welcome. The restaurant's ambiance is stylish and inviting. We immediately felt at home, and the Italian hospitality is evident throughout the entire team. All the dishes were delicious and freshly prepared, and the seasonal dishes are highly recommended! We are delighted and would gladly return!

We were on a short break nearby and happened upon this place on our first evening. The ambiance, the food, and especially the owner's warm manner made a positive impression. We returned the very next day. Everything was perfect on our second visit, too. Highly recommended; I'd happily give it more than 5*.

Top restaurant with authentic Italian and Sicilian dishes and attentive staff! For us personally, the best Italian restaurant we know of in the region! Reservations recommended! What just doesn't work is bringing Neapolitan flair to Rot in the form of karaoke singing. The Italian mentality of the German guests is simply missing... and it's rather annoying.

We spontaneously stopped by on a Sunday evening without a reservation. The food was very good, and I felt very comfortable. It's like a little Italian oasis in Germany. As soon as you walk through the door, you've arrived. I highly recommend a visit. Only parking could be a challenge.

This was (once again) nothing – unfortunately, we were once again very disappointed – starting with the truly poor service, which at times even seemed arrogant. The pizzas this time were extremely greasy (sometimes the previous ones were perfect, some were really bad; the quality fluctuates wildly). All in all, a very disappointing evening. We didn't feel like welcome guests. We waited a full 25 minutes to pay in a nearly empty restaurant. This was our last visit; we don't need to drive another 30 minutes for this experience.

We were here for dinner on Sunday evening. We had three pizzas and one pasta dish with Gorgonzola sauce. The food was excellent, and the ambiance was perfect. We couldn't fault the service, although there's still potential for improvement in some small details. All in all, we would come back and recommend a visit here without reservation.

The food was okay, but nothing more. I'd just about accept the value for money. Dirty glasses, with lipstick on them. Someone, not us, gave the glasses to the waiter, and not even an apology. Very unprofessional and rude. Today we had live music. I should demand compensation. It was ridiculously loud, the entire place was blasted with sound. In the beer garden, it was impossible to even have a conversation, let alone order food. If only it had sounded good...

The food was delicious, but not what I ordered... my pasta dish was supposed to come with fish, which was apparently empty. So, they made my dish with scampi (which was also delicious). Despite that, I didn't order it, and it was prepared and served without asking. The ambiance inside is normal, but very loud due to the space. At around 6:30 p.m., the owner started singing karaoke loudly while everyone was eating?

Our new favorite pizzeria!!! Just like Italy. The buffalo mozzarella pizza was amazing. Great staff, and music outside too. We're thrilled 👌🏼🇮🇹🍕🎶

A fantastic evening. We had a great meal and were fantastically entertained by the staff. I've never experienced a service team singing while they work in Germany before. We had a fantastic time. We'd love to come back, but we live too far away. Definitely recommended. If you're in the area, go. It's worth it. Thanks to the whole team for the wonderful evening.

The restaurant was full upon arrival. Fabio asked to wait 20 minutes so something would become available. The atmosphere and interaction actually made me return after a walk. Absolutely worth it!! The staff is more than friendly. Friendly, welcoming, and perfectly present. The food… Who would have expected this little piece of Sicily in the middle of nowhere in Germany… sublime. Fantastic pizza and delicious pasta, all at a very reasonable price. Worth every euro. Fabio, keep up the good work!

Ein Abend, den ich am liebsten vergessen würde. Schon beim Betreten des Lokals hatte ich ein ungutes Gefühl – leider hat sich dieses im Laufe des Abends mehr als bestätigt. Ich hatte Rigatoni al Forno bestellt – ein Gericht, das ich eigentlich liebe. Was mir jedoch serviert wurde, war kaum wiederzuerkennen: lieblos angerichtet, völlig übergart, fade und geschmacklich eine Zumutung. Nach wenigen Bissen war für mich klar: Das kann und will ich nicht essen. Doch das war noch längst nicht der Tiefpunkt des Abends. Während wir versuchten, irgendwie in Ruhe zu essen, begann der Wirt plötzlich damit, Mikrofone an die Gäste zu verteilen. Was folgte, war eine bizarre Mischung aus Karaoke-Abend und Stammtisch-Stimmung – nur viel lauter. Sichtlich alkoholisierte Gäste versuchten, italienische Lieder mitzusingen, und statt einzuschreiten, mischten sich der Wirt und sein Kellner mit noch lauteren, völlig schiefen Gesängen ein. Der Geräuschpegel war unerträglich, von einer entspannten Atmosphäre keine Spur. Das Ganze wirkte eher wie eine Kirmesbude als ein italienisches Restaurant. Jeder Versuch, das Essen zu genießen, wurde von Gegröle, Lärm und Fremdscham zunichte gemacht. Doch am meisten hat mich die Gleichgültigkeit gegenüber den Gästen gestört: Beim Abräumen meines Tellers – der fast unangetastet war – stand der Wirt selbst am Tisch. Kein einziges Wort. Kein „Hat es Ihnen geschmeckt?“ oder „War alles in Ordnung?“. Nichts. Das sagt für mich alles. Ich habe selten ein Restaurant so enttäuscht und kopfschüttelnd verlassen. Für mich steht fest: Dieses "Lokal" werde ich nie wieder betreten – und ich kann es auch niemandem guten Gewissens empfehlen.

An evening I would rather forget. I had a bad feeling as soon as I entered the restaurant – unfortunately, this feeling was more than confirmed as the evening progressed. I had ordered Rigatoni al Forno – a dish I actually love. However, what was served to me was barely recognizable: carelessly presented, completely overcooked, bland, and tastefully atrocious. After a few bites, it was clear to me: I couldn't and wouldn't eat that. But that was far from the low point of the evening. While we were trying to eat in peace, the owner suddenly started handing out microphones to the guests. What followed was a bizarre mix of karaoke night and a bar atmosphere – only much louder. Visibly intoxicated guests tried to sing along to Italian songs, and instead of intervening, the owner and his waiter joined in with even louder, completely off-key singing. The noise level was unbearable, and there was no trace of a relaxed atmosphere. The whole thing felt more like a fairground stall than an Italian restaurant. Any attempt to enjoy the food was thwarted by shouting, noise, and second-hand embarrassment. But what bothered me most was the indifference toward the guests: While my plate – which was almost untouched – was being cleared, the proprietor himself was standing at the table. Not a single word. Not a single "Did you enjoy your meal?" or "Was everything okay?" Nothing. That says it all for me. I have rarely left a restaurant so disappointed and shaking my head. One thing is clear to me: I will never set foot in this "restaurant" again – and I can't in good conscience recommend it to anyone.

Pure Italian lifestyle! At L'Italiano, everything is just right: very, very good food in a stylish and cozy atmosphere. The owner is attentive, friendly, and always has great recommendations – you can tell there's real passion behind it. Especially nice in summer: the beer garden, which invites you to linger and makes the whole experience even more relaxing. It's simply fun to eat here. You feel welcome, comfortable, and well looked after. For us: always worth a visit!

I went here last weekend with my GF and my child and we had a fantastic time. The staff were friendly, joyful, and attentive and the food even impressed my Italian GF, who has normally been disappointed too often by other Italian restaurants in our area up until now. 😅 This will be our only choice for an Italian restaurant for the foreseeable future and we look forward to our next visit. 🙂

It was incredibly annoying. First, an ashtray at the next table was smoking without anyone coming to take it away. Then, you get dirty wine glasses. And the meat dishes are tough. The waitresses wander around listlessly. We won't be coming back. You don't get good quality for the money. What a shame.

The four of us spontaneously stopped by for dinner and didn't regret it. The pizzas and desserts were incredibly delicious. The Italian atmosphere was 100%.

We had to spontaneously find a restaurant because our reservation was canceled, and we ended up here. It was absolutely delicious: great pizza, pasta, and appetizers. But this place thrives on the service, which was so wonderfully Italian and extremely attentive. Was it because they were getting in the mood for the Champions League final? We think that's the soul of this place. Thank you, you saved our evening.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right at all! We ordered the mixed starter plate for €18.90. For such a hefty price, I expected a generous selection, and then came the shock... A small plate with really very little choice. The taste was great, but very little!!!!!! I expected more from the food in general. They skimp on ingredients, and instead of strips of beef, it's ordinary diced goulash with tendons! A no-go! The taste, for us, was "edible," but there are definitely better options! Top-notch service, the chef was a flop.

I was just here and would love to come back. Waiters are super nice and fast, pizza is a dream, big but crispy and thin base. Had a special pizza with salsicia, mozzarella di buffala, and eggplant cream, but the latter wasn't quite my taste, but the rest was great.. my friend's pizza quattro stagione was a poem, true to the original, everything was delicious. Also the tiramisu. The beer garden would have been nice, but it started to rain.

Really very nice and courteous staff, especially to our daughter. There was a small mini-portion of pasta on the house and she was simply provided with painting supplies without us explicitly asking for them. The pizza was delicious and the rest of the service was great too. We were on vacation in St. Leon-Rot and can definitely recommend this Italian! There is one star deduction for service simply because you can no longer pay with a Visa or Maestro card. Only EC card or cash payment is possible.

I absolutely love this wonderful Italian restaurant! The service was not only attentive, but also incredibly warm and personal. The highlight of my visit was that the kitchen created a new shrimp dish for me - something that wasn't even on the menu! The combination of fresh ingredients, authentic flavors and loving preparation was simply extraordinary. It's rare to feel so valued as a guest. For me, this restaurant is the epitome of hospitality and culinary creativity. I can highly recommend it to everyone and am already looking forward to my next visit!

Great food and perfect service!

We went to an event last night and then stopped at the Pizzeria L'Italiano. We had reserved a table in advance via the website, which was promptly confirmed. Praise for the quick processing. When we arrived at the pizzeria, we were greeted by an authentic Italian restaurateur who quickly took our order. We ordered two pizzas that were super tasty with very good toppings and crispy edges. We were completely satisfied and would love to come back!

The service was great, super friendly, especially with the children. Pizza and lasagna authentically Italian, salad fresh and delicious dressing. We were thrilled from start to finish. There was something for the kids to paint and a little Halloween surprise. Great!

I myself am also Sicilian, for me this evening is a piece of home. The food was really tasty, we ate pizza and we can only recommend it.
