The reviews here convinced us to eat here. The food was good. However, the service left something to be desired. We didn't feel welcome, I imagine it would be different with an expensive meal. Maybe it was the children who weren't welcome, I don't know. In any case, it was a shame.

We waited an hour for the order to be taken. The staff constantly ignored us and were super unfriendly when talking to us. The food was average but totally overpriced.

Full marks from us. Already started with the online reservation. We changed the number of people twice and everything worked fine. Confirmation came within minutes. Food was perfect. My wife says it's the best Italian ever, and we've visited many Italian restaurants... Thank you for the very nice evening. Keep it up...

The staff wasn't really friendly and seemed annoyed. The starter is not recommended because it was absolutely not worth 22.50 for four small parts. The pizza was okay but nothing exceptional.

I ate an excellent pistachio-crusted lamb with roast potatoes on the side. A restaurant that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to eat Sicilian in Frankfurt. The manager is very kind and you can see that he works with passion. The environment is comfortable and welcoming, very homely. I will definitely return as soon as I'm in Frankfurt again.

Ambiance was OK, but service was very inattentive, we were often ignored even though the plates and glasses were empty. The food was OK, but in my opinion the P/L ratio isn't right here.

Amazing restaurants! They understand my preference and making great service. Most importantly, they know about their food! The food is prefectly prepared and tasty! The ingredients are well matched and the cooking techniques are quite good. The lasagna and truffle dumplings are both perfect! The waiters are also very considerate!

I Siciliani is one of the hirlstoric Italian restaurants of Frankfurt. The menu offers a variety of dishes inpsired by the Sizilian tradition. The service is very kind and the kitchen is well organised so that the wwiting time is generaly very low. Highly recommended!

The strong point is the food...all excellent...location and service need improvement, very friendly staff but a bit of organizing...if the opportunity arises I will definitely be back...recommended!!!

A great restaurant for dinner in Frankfurt. We were there for the first time and really liked it. The food was very tasty and fresh, and we didn’t have to wait long for our order to be taken or served. The service was excellent, and the waiter came by to ask about our impressions and more. The place is located not far from the center, in a quieter area. Highly recommended.

This time I came back with my family who loves Sicily. We took Antipasti to share ( fantastic carpaccio and goat cheese). The we took pasta with S. Pietro fish. Great meal. We sat outside.

The atmosphere was amazing, the service was on point and very knowledgeable staff. The food was great, possibly the best Mediterranean meal I have ever eaten outside Sicily. I will definitely will be coming back next time I'll fly to Europe again. I will definitely recommend it for anyone who is traveling and stopping to visit Frankfurt.

Quality pays off in Germany, if you want to try something different without looking at your wallet this is the right place. Fresh fish and 5 star service. Shared starter, second course and glass of wine 50 euros.

Excellent Italian with authentic Italian dishes

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Besuch bei der Trattoria. Der Kellner hat uns direkt richtig eingeschätzt und uns eine tolle Vorspeisenplatte zusammengestellt. Die Hauptgerichte waren durch die Bank weg sehr lecker! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Seltsam, das Restaurant war leer, wir beschlossen, zu Abend zu essen, weil wir im Internet gute Kritiken gelesen hatten. Lasagne und Pizza waren nicht sehr lecker, es war zu wenig Käse auf der Pizza. Der Garnelensalat war sehr einfach. Aber das Schlimmste ist, dass uns nach 2 Stunden schlecht wurde und wir die ganze Nacht gerülpst haben. 2 Tage Rausch nach einem Restaurantbesuch sind nicht sehr angenehm

Cross the gate and you are in Italy. It's loud, everyone is talking at once, and a waiter balancing food comes from each side. It's like a mini vacation! The food is freshly prepared, practically everything is homemade and varied, and the wine list is exquisite. However, you should have a larger wallet with you.

Cacio e pepe pasta made with cream (cacio not received). There were ten of us and we had to insist many times for a menu because the waiter insisted that he wanted to make some pasta for everyone to share (without saying the price). Wines recently sold at disproportionate prices (Chianti at €99). The pizza looked like the frozen ones (and it was also small). When we pointed out the prices of the wine we were told that it was because there was a fair in town. Dishonest, expensive and also poor in terms of cuisine.

Wir waren eigentlich als Gruppe von 10 eingeplant. Es kamen noch spontan vier Kollegen dazu. Der Salvatore hat schnell umorganisiert und alle platziert. Oben drauf hat er uns super 5 Gänge Menü empfohlen. Wein auch klasse- weißer aus Umbrien. Die Schwarzen Nudeln mit Trüffel und Zackenbarsch gefüllt mit Bufala Mozzarella waren verrückt lecker. During my last visit to Trattoria I Siciliani, I had the pleasure of enjoying two exceptional dishes that were both visually and taste-satisfying. The first dish I was served was seafood linguine. The artful presentation was immediately apparent: the linguine was cooked perfectly al dente and garnished with a generous amount of fresh seafood, including shrimp, mussels and squid. The colors of the tomato sauce and green herbs made for an appetizing sight. In terms of taste, the dish was a hit: the seafood was tender and juicy, and the sauce had just the right balance of spice and freshness. Each bite was a flavor explosion that perfectly captured the flavors of the sea. The second dish was squid with pistachio pesto. The squid was nice and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, which made the texture very pleasant. The breading with pistachio pesto complemented the taste of the squid excellently and ensured a harmonious overall picture. Here too, the presentation was excellent, with an even breading and an attractive presentation on the plate. The pistachio pesto gave the dish a nutty touch and took the flavors of the squid to a new level. Both dishes impressed not only with their high-quality preparation, but also with their careful presentation. The attention to detail and freshness of the ingredients was reflected in every bite. Overall, my visit to Trattoria I Siciliani was an unforgettable culinary experience. The quality of the food and the aesthetic presentation made the day very special. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The starters were of good quality. The wine recommendation really suited our taste. As a group, we had pasta and pizzas for the main course, although from our point of view this unfortunately did not correspond to an upscale restaurant (some oily, smaller pizzas and tasteless pasta). The seats were on the street.

I'm sorry but the store is way over the top when it comes to prices. I can't charge 16 euros for a pepperoni sausage pizza. That simply does not work. I feel like I've been taken for a ride. It didn't taste particularly good either. Aperol Spritz was more of a glass with 3/4 ice. Rip-off to the power of three. The ambience is average. Service is ok but given the prices I have to ask for it. If you don't want to spend too much on your food, this is the place for you. If you need it for your ego, please.

Etwas durchwachsen. Insgesamt gut. Essen gut und authentisch, aber es fehlte etwas die Raffinesse. Service sehr freundlich, aber zu offensichtlich verkaufsorientiert. Es war ein Messetag in Frankfurt und das Restaurant bis auf den letzten Platz gefüllt, vielleicht lag es daran. Wir werden es nochmals probieren.

I got life poisoning from the carpaccio that was probably sitting there all day. The salad was old and outdated not appetizing and the prawns were fried in old oil. Very very overpriced, but the quality is not there.

Eine tolle Entdeckung! Sizilianische und italienische Spezialitäten im Herzen Frankfurt! Service wirklich schnell, kein leerer Teller blieb stehen. Kulinarisch top- vor allem pikante Linguine mit Kalbstreifen. Gut, dass wir reserviert haben. Es war voll!

Die Qualität des Essens ist gut und die Speise sind nicht 08/15. Eine recht überschaubare Karte mit wenig Auswahl. Leckere gefüllte Pasta. Die Preise sind einfach zu hoch. Ein Glas Wein kostet Euro 9,90. Auch die gefüllte Pasta war über Euro 25,- Es war interessant aber nicht um wiederholt zu werden. Ich bin vertraut mit der Sizilianische und auch Italienische Küche, aber die Preise entsprechen eher ein Gourmet Restaurant und nicht eine Trattoria.

The trattoria is located in beautiful Sachsenhausen in Frankfurt, the food was very good and of very high quality, the ambience is convincing with its classic Italian style, which the waiters implement perfectly and give you the feeling of being in the south of Italy, the wine selection is also excellent we were given very good advice. The restaurant also has a beautiful terrace which offers enough seating for events and celebrations.

Very poor quality of food, one of the worst value - money ratios i ve experienced in my life.

Yesterday evening I was at the trattoria “I siciliani”. The taste of the food was very good. But all standard things, nothing earth-shattering, just well decorated, as they say.... very, very expensive, antipasto with three standard things, almost €22.50. Standard pizza and size with a little Sicilian sausage and potato 17€. Standard wine Primitivo 0.2 glass 9€. S. Pellegrino water bottle 9€. As I said, the food was great, but the trattoria was pushed too high. I forgot one thing, I'm Sicilian myself, but I didn't see a single Sicilian in the trattoria or speak Sicilian. 😉

Very nice restaurant with absolutely great food. Very tasty and also nice to sit inside and outside, some tables are a bit small and narrow, better clarify here beforehand. The people are very attentive and friendly.

Miserable food and miserable service

Little Italian on the corner that can serve pizza, pasta and more. The restaurant in an old building is a bit narrow and winding, but the kitchen is really impressive. Everything from Italy is served, rolls and pizza made from homemade dough. I wasn't disappointed. We had veal medallions in a slightly lemony white wine sauce with pine nuts and cherry tomatoes and breaded lamb cutlets with grated pistachios with baked baked potatoes. Finally, a “pot” of orange tiramisu with espresso. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to taste a very good - unfortunately not cheap - gourmet Italian. Price/performance ratio is ok, around €45 p/p.

Cozy place...you eat normal, nothing special.....then comes the bill...a global blow....Italian tourists are the ones targeted by Mira.... It's really true you have to stay away from the locals of Italians when traveling 130 euros each and there were 3 of us....for a first course and a second course with 3 pieces of lamb

I went with my girlfriend. We sat outside and ordered a pizza and two beers to start. While we were eating it started to rain. We went inside with the pizza but since it was full inside, we stood eating while waiting for a table to free up. New people continued to enter the restaurant, who were made to sit down while we continued eating standing up, with our plates resting on a small piece of furniture. One of the waiters was going to give us a table and told another waiter (a bald one) that we were waiting, but he made a gesture that we had only ordered a pizza. It caused me a lot of indignation and helplessness. We were going to continue ordering, but even if we didn't, what was appropriate was that they offered us to sit down... but no, with waiters this rude and rude, it was impossible. I complained and left without paying, as appropriate. Never more!

We used The Fork to reserve a table here. Unfortunately there is about a 50% price difference between the menu shown on The Fork app and the real menu in-person. There is also a charge of 9 EUR extra for water and bread. They did ask if we want water, but you do not assume it would cost 9 EUR for a regular bottle (and no mention of bread being extra). Food was tasty, but definitely not worth the price and the sneaky behaviour of extra costs. Disappointing unfortunately.
