Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, man merkt, dass der Koch mit Leidenschaft dabei ist, seinen Gästen ausschließlich die besten und frischesten Zutaten auf den Tisch zu bringen. Alles war absolut perfekt zubereitet und angerichtet. Jetzt kommt der traurige Teil. Das Personal war absolut unfreundlich, kein einziges Lächeln von irgendjemandem. Wir mussten gut 15 Minuten warten, bis der ältere Herr endlich unsere Bestellung aufnahm, nachdem er einige Tische verschoben und uns etwa viermal passiert hatte. Die Vorspeise kam 12 Minuten später, unsere Getränke trafen erst weitere 6 Minuten danach ein. Der Hauptgang kam einigermaßen zeitnah. Wir hatten vor, ein Dessert zu bestellen, wollten aber ehrlich gesagt nicht noch einmal 20 Minuten warten. Die junge Dame räumte unsere Teller ab, und ich fragte, ob wir bitte zahlen könnten. Sie hat Blickkontakt gehalten, aber keine Reaktion, kein Lächeln, nichts. 5 Minuten später kam eine ältere Dame heraus, endlich jemand mit einem Lächeln, aber zu wenig, zu spät. Insgesamt kann ich dieses Restaurant nur zum Mitnehmen empfehlen. Wer echte italienische Gastfreundschaft sucht, sollte woanders hingehen. Wirklich schade, denn nochmal: Das Essen war das beste, das wir seit langem gegessen haben.

Das Essen war in Perfektion und mit Liebe gekocht, der Service aufmerksam und professionell.. . Pasta auf den Punkt al Dente gegart, Pizzateig fluffig innen, aussen knusprig. Pizza ausgezeichnet belegt.. . Die Muscheln und der Tintenfisch in den Gerichten waren ebenfalls extrem lecker und in diesem Restaurant scheint man wirklich Wert auf frisches Kochen zu legen - und nicht auf Fertigkomponenten und Tiefkühlware zurückzugreifen.. . Wirklich herausragend. Ein großes Lob an Küche und Service.

Alles sehr gut und empfehlenswert

Wirklich lecker, geradezu fantastisch. Das Essen ist wirklich spitze, die Pizza ist hervorragend. Mein Tipp wäre sich mal auf eine weiße Pizza einzulassen, hat mir überraschenderweise noch besser geschmeckt als die klassischen Sorten. Der Service ist herzlich und wie ein kleiner Trip nach Italien. Die Preise sind absolut fair, wir waren nun schon zweimal dort und werden wieder hingehen!

Sehr nette Kellner, ein junger Kolumbianer und ein weiterer Mann, haben uns heute bedient. Pizza, Salat und Bruschetta waren sehr gut und preiswert. Bier und Wein waren ebenfalls günstig, und das Team ist wirklich authentisch italienisch. Auch der Käse war lecker!

Die Trattoria Da Pietro ist ein hervorragendes Restaurant, in dem man mit viel Liebe und Verantwortungsbewusstsein isst. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Ambiente exquisit, die Küche hervorragend und die Pizzeria fantastisch.

Wer wirklich gut italienisch essen will und sich dabei wie in Italien fühlen, der ist hier richtig! Ich komme sehr gerne dorthin, weil für mich dort alles stimmig ist.

Das letzte Mal das ich so eine gute „einfache“ Pizza gegessen habe war in Italien. Meiner Meinung beste Pizza in der Region.

Italienische Küche in deutscher Schnelligkeit. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Ich esse seit über 5 Jahren bei Da Pietro in Esslingen und kann sagen, dass es für mich die Nummer 1 im Raum Stuttgart ist. Ich habe viele italienische Restaurants ausprobiert, aber diese Qualität habe ich so noch nirgends erlebt. Besonders stark ist, dass die Qualität seit Jahren konstant auf diesem hohen Niveau bleibt. Auch die große und gut ausgewählte Weinkarte rundet das Ganze perfekt ab. Es kann manchmal etwas länger dauern, aber wer Qualität will, muss auch bereit sein zu warten. Ich habe viele Freunde dorthin mitgenommen – alle waren begeistert. Es ist jedes Mal ein besonderes Erlebnis. Klare Empfehlung!

Super Essen und ein rundum gelungener Mittag! Wir waren mit 20 Personen vor Ort und alles hat reibungslos funktioniert. Das Essen war frisch, sehr lecker und kam zügig – perfekt für die Mittagszeit. Sehr leckeres Essen, eines der besten Restaurants in Esslingen und Umgebung. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierher. Der Service ist freundlich und lustig. Auch für Kinder gut geeignet. Schönes Ambiente drinnen und draußen sowie eine große Auswahl an Speisen.

Das Essen ist gut, sowohl die Pizza als auch alles andere. Trotzdem geb ich nur einen Stern. Der Chef-Kellner oder wie auch immer man diesen Typen nennen soll, ist dermaßen schwierig, das kann einem den ganzen Abend vermiesen. Er hat nicht gecheckt, dass ich Italiener bin und die Kommentare verstehe, die er den ganzen Abend über rausgehauen hat. Ich hab mich echt vor meinen Kollegen geschämt. Junge, such dir einen Job, wo du nix mit anderen Menschen zu tun hast. Echt schade, war mal ein sympathisches Restaurant.

Authentische italienische Trattoria mit schönem Ambiente. Der Service ist größtenteils sehr freundlich, teilweise aber etwas überdreht. So rief der Kellner beim Servieren drei Mal „Pizza“, wurde dabei immer lauter - allerdings wusste niemand von uns, wer gemeint war, da mehrere Personen Pizza bestellt hatten und er nicht dazu sagte, welche. Apropos Pizza: Die war zwar sehr groß und reichlich belegt, aber leider etwas wässrig und geschmacklich eher neutral. Alle anderen Gerichte waren dafür geschmacklich sehr gut. Die Organisation war in meinen Augen leider auch verbesserungswürdig. Der Laden war brechend voll, daher rechnet man natürlich mit Wartezeiten. Das Essen hat auch tatsächlich sehr lange gedauert. Allerdings wurde uns vorab gesagt, dass wir den Tisch zu einer bestimmten Uhrzeit räumen müssen. Wenn das Essen dann erst kurz davor serviert wird, ist das eher ungünstig. Alles in allem kommen wir gerne wieder, vor allem für die Vorspeisen und die Pasta, idealerweise wenn etwas weniger los ist.

Wir haben versucht was zu bestellen was uns sehr viel Freude gemacht hat ! Sehr gut vorbereitete Gerichte und alles gut geschmeckt haben . Personal ist freundlich und nett und unkompliziert . Preise sind angemessen und in Ordnung . Ist sehr gut zu wissen , wenn sie die Adresse suchen unbedingt Termine vereinbaren und reservieren , ist sehr gefragt !

Tagliatelle mit Lachs war kein Genuss, sondern eine Pampe und mein extra bestellter Salat wurde nie serviert! Der Hauswein ist zu teuer!

Wir waren am Sonntagabend bei Pietro zum Abendessen. Es hat uns rundum gefallen: Der Fisch war von ausgezeichneter Qualität, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, und wir mussten kaum auf unser Essen und unsere Getränke warten. Die Atmosphäre war wunderschön, typisch für eine italienische Trattoria – etwas eng, aber alles war ordentlich und sauber. Einziger Wermutstropfen war, dass wir nach zwei Stunden gehen mussten, weil andere Gäste warteten, was aber verständlich war. Ein Pluspunkt ist der Parkplatz an der Tankstelle Aral in der Nähe des Friedhofs. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Als Italiener habe ich schon sehr viele Pizzen gegessen – sowohl in Deutschland als auch in Italien. Aber so eine gute Pizza habe ich noch nie gegessen. Wirklich sehr gut. Man kann es eigentlich nicht erklären, man muss sie probieren. Der Teig, der Geschmack, die Qualität – einfach auf einem ganz eigenen Niveau. Und es ist nicht nur die Pizza: vom Ambiente über das kompetente und herzliche Team bis hin zum Nachtisch ist hier einfach alles einmalig gut. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen, wie zu Hause in Italien. Für mich ganz klar: ein absolutes Highlight und nur zu empfehlen. Grazie mille – wir kommen definitiv wieder! 🇮🇹🍕

Ein wunderbares Erlebnis, wir wurden von Anfang bis Ende verwöhnt! „Wir waren in der Trattoria Ristorante Da Pietro und hätten uns nichts Besseres wünschen können. Das Essen war einfach köstlich! Wir begannen mit einer reichhaltigen und leckeren gemischten Antipasti-Platte, gefolgt von einer exzellenten Pizza und Spaghetti all'arrabbiata, perfekt zubereitet, genau so, wie es sein soll. Den krönenden Abschluss bildete das Limoncello-Tiramisu: eine wirklich wunderbare Interpretation des Klassikers, eine unglaubliche Balance der Aromen. Aber was den Unterschied wirklich ausmachte, war der herzliche Empfang: Der Inhaber und das gesamte Personal waren unglaublich freundlich und haben uns den ganzen Abend über verwöhnt. Es war ein wundervolles Erlebnis, das wir ganz sicher wiederholen werden. Absolut empfehlenswert!“

Leider ein sehr unangenehmer Besuch. Wir haben ganz normal auf Italienisch bestellt – und trotzdem wurde in der offenen Küche neben unserem Platz über uns gelästert. Das war nicht nur respektlos, sondern hat uns den Abend komplett verdorben. Dazu kam: Die Pizza war so klein, dass sie eher wie eine Vorspeise wirkte, und bei Sonderwünschen hatte man das Gefühl, man stört. Wünsche wurden direkt abgelehnt oder mit einem seltsamen Kommentar versehen. Preis-Leistung und Umgang mit Gästen passen für uns überhaupt nicht. Keine Empfehlung.

Leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Die Kellner waren unverschämt und haben sogar auf Italienisch über uns gelästert – offenbar in der Annahme, dass wir es nicht verstehen. Ein absolut respektloses Verhalten gegenüber Gästen. Während ich noch am Essen war, wurde mir einfach der Teller weggenommen und anschließend regelrecht wieder auf den Tisch „hingeknallt“. So etwas habe ich in einem Restaurant noch nie erlebt. Die Pizza war zudem extrem klein und stand in keinem Verhältnis zum Preis. Wir waren danach noch hungrig und mussten tatsächlich in ein anderes Restaurant gehen, um satt zu werden. Auf Wünsche wurde überhaupt nicht eingegangen. Stattdessen wurde mit mir diskutiert und der Kellner war mir gegenüber durchgehend unhöflich. Definitiv kein Ort, den ich weiterempfehlen kann.

Sehr Gastfreundlich, Wir schauten spontan nach einem schönen Restaurant und waren dort Mega zufrieden. Die Qualität der Speisen hat uns überzeugt und positiv überrascht. Das Servicepersonal war mega freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wenn wir nochmal in der Nähe sind kommen wir gerne wieder. Danke an den Chef der uns freundlich bedient hat.

Ein echtes Stück Neapel in Esslingen – Service der Extraklasse! Wir hatten einen absolut unvergesslichen Abend in der Trattoria da Pietro. Was man hier erlebt, findet man selbst in vielen High-Class-Restaurants heute kaum noch: Wahre Gastfreundschaft. Der Chef persönlich (ein echter Neapolitaner mit Herz!) hat sich Zeit für uns genommen und uns auf Wunsch ein Gericht komplett außerhalb der Karte kreiert. Dass so flexibel und persönlich auf Gäste eingegangen wird, ist absolut nicht selbstverständlich. Die Qualität des Essens war dabei absolute Spitzenklasse – authentischer kann italienische Küche nicht schmecken. Wer einen "richtigen" Italiener sucht, bei dem Qualität und menschlicher Kontakt an erster Stelle stehen, MUSS hierhin. Danke an das ganze Team für dieses Erlebnis!

Das lokal Trattoria Da Pietro, ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Bedienungen freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Speisekarte bietet viel. De Pizzas schmecken hervorragend und es gibt sehr viele Varianten. Auch der Salatteller und die übrigen Speisen schmeckten. Das Lokal ist absolut empfehlenswert.

The best Italian restaurant for miles around. I drive all the way from Fellbach to Pietro's every time, and we always love coming back. A lovely atmosphere, excellent food, and a truly authentic and friendly host. I even celebrated my birthday there – highly recommended!

A highly recommended Italian restaurant in Esslingen that can brighten your evening with a great selection of delicious dishes. My personal recommendation is the pasta dishes. If you don't always want pizza at an Italian restaurant, this is the place to go. Besides good pizza, they also offer very tasty pasta dishes. The owner and all the staff are very friendly. If you're looking for a pleasant evening at a friendly Italian restaurant, this is the place to go. Of course, this is just my personal opinion of the restaurant and based on my own experience there.

For a starter, I had a tomato salad with basil. Six slices of tomato and one basil leaf – €9.50. I thought that was outrageous. The pizza was very good. Great base and really generous toppings. The service was okay. We sat at the table for a while with empty glasses without anyone asking if we wanted anything else. It's simply annoying to have to constantly get their attention.

I find the food to be above average compared to many other Italian restaurants. However, the seating in the restaurant is far too cramped, making it uncomfortable and noisy. Furthermore, the service has unfortunately become increasingly unfriendly in recent years. Especially when picking up food, you feel like you're bothering them. NO NO AND NO! NEVER AGAIN, RUDE STAFF!! We went to eat at this "restaurant/trattoria?" If you can call it that for a birthday and we left truly dissatisfied. Let's start with: - the potato croquettes weren't there - the croutons weren't there - We asked for a chicken cutlet and a breaded pork steak arrived - for a first course we waited almost 30 minutes only to find the pasta VERY al dente, which had to be recooked. And let's not kid ourselves, they only changed the dish because the pasta was exactly the same as the one sent back to the kitchen. We told the chef we didn't like it and were treated terribly. We left the place truly disappointed by this gentleman's behavior, so even if I paid for it, I will NEVER GO BACK AGAIN!

In 30 years, I've only eaten two excellent pizzas: one in Naples and one at Pietro's restaurant. Furthermore, during this dinner, I had the opportunity to order and savor many other delicacies, and everything was to my liking. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch and you can taste it, not to mention the skill of the kitchen staff. The service was also impeccable, with a never-ending stream of friendliness and smiles. Thanks to all the staff! I felt pampered and right at home! A dinner worthy of A+ ✨✨

We came here spontaneously on a Tuesday evening and, after a bit of a wait, got a table. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. The food was very good. My only criticism: It's a bit noisy in the restaurant, but that's due to its size and the tight seating.

Unfortunately, the plate was poorly chosen (a long fish plate for a semicircular pizza fritta), so some sauce oozed out the side, which I had to repeatedly try to keep on the plate (unsuccessfully). Fortunately, the problem gradually improved the more I ate the pizza fritta. Also unfortunate was the poor distribution of the salami slices within the pizza fritta. There were a few spots without a salami slice, but one spot had four (!) slices stacked on top of each other. The apple juice was well chilled. # Service The owner of the establishment seems a bit brusque and taciturn, but generally friendly. The service takes its time; you should be patient for a few minutes, unfortunately, even if you're eating alone. My table had cutlery and a cloth on the other side, which I didn't want to sit on due to its proximity to the next table. I had to bring the cutlery and cloth over to my side myself, as no one from the waiting staff came. In general, there wasn't much interaction with me. There was no bread, no early request for a drink, no question about whether the meal was tasty (only at the end), and no offer of schnapps or cappuccino at the end. The waitress actually had time to do that in between meals, which I found a bit disappointing. # Ambience The restaurant seems clean, tidy, not loud, and pleasant – but unfortunately a bit "minimal." The atmosphere is very nice and corresponds to what you would expect from a rustic Italian restaurant with a personal charm in Germany, but it's still missing that certain something to truly feel like you're in Italy. # Conclusion I might eat here again with friends, but I'd probably order simpler dishes. I'll probably try to find something better elsewhere in the future, though – I won't be coming here alone again.

Last week, my family and I went out to dinner. Everything went really well. The pizza was delicious, and the pizza dough was absolutely the best!

The pizza was okay – the starter was poorly presented and tasted rather underwhelming. Cheap tables right on the street. The service couldn't be described as service. No one even asked if everything was okay. We had to wait forever for the menu, and we paid by leaving the money on the table because no one came for ages and we were simply ignored.

I waited an hour for the pizza this evening. Shortly before, 50 minutes after ordering, we asked what was happening with the pizza. Five minutes later, we were told it was in the oven. This means the order had been forgotten without our asking. The pizza arrived as quickly as it did and tasted delicious. The ingredients were carelessly thrown onto the good dough. The service was terrible. No waiter even asked if we wanted anything else to drink. I won't be coming back anytime soon.

We were there during the week, but the restaurant was still completely full – which speaks volumes about its popularity. Unfortunately, we had to wait a very, very long time for our food. The service left a lot to be desired. The waiters seemed a bit stressed. You had the feeling that you, as a guest, were more of a nuisance than a welcome... It's a real shame, because the food itself was really good quality and flavorful. If the service had been better and the wait times shorter, it could have been a really nice visit. Unfortunately, the overall impression is rather disappointing.

My family and I had a wonderful meal. It felt like we were at home in my beautiful Naples, and despite it being super crowded, the waiters did an excellent job. Slowness doesn't matter if it's professional and high-quality. I highly recommend it, and when we're homesick, I'll definitely be back. We waited over 15 minutes for a table even though there were tables available (not reserved). When we finally sat down (next to screaming children and a baby), we were not served. After half an hour, we got up (they repeatedly said they would be there).

A lovely restaurant with friendly staff, but there's one downside: The pizza was overloaded with ingredients. The fish frittura was actually just fried calamari, a small piece of squid, and three shrimp. I expected more variety. Other than that, it was still delicious.

A very, very good Italian restaurant. We've eaten here several times and have been impressed every time. The portions are just right, the pizza is excellent, and the pasta is perfect. The only thing that could be improved is the organization. The service sometimes seems very disorganized and chaotic to me. Don't get me wrong, they're always trying hard, friendly, and good, but they're disorganized, which somewhat dampens the overall impression. At some point the Esslingen 'ship' was hijacked by an Italian chef king named Pietro - and from then on it was on the road to success. Tasty cucina italiana and good wines with attentive service at fair prices. Particularly recommended on Wednesdays and Sundays: the unusual pizza fritta!

You receive a warm welcome as soon as you enter; the ambiance is stylish, cozy, and designed with great attention to detail. The service was exceptional – attentive, friendly, yet pleasantly unobtrusive. The food was simply fantastic. Each course was a work of art, perfectly balanced in flavor and prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I would particularly like to highlight the "Insalata di mare" and "Saltimbocca alla romana," which truly impressed me. The drinks were also excellently coordinated – you can tell the team brings a lot of experience and passion to the table. The value for money is absolutely fair for the quality offered. In conclusion: If you value excellent cuisine, great service, and an all-round harmonious experience, this is the place for you. I will definitely be back – a clear recommendation!

The seating in the restaurant is very close together; we couldn't, or rather weren't allowed to, sit at a table with four people, but had to squeeze together so the waiter could get through. He was also stressed and not particularly friendly. Directly next to us sat a large group of Italians, presumably acquaintances/friends of the owners, who naturally spread out and were served a lot of things that weren't on the menu...and, who would have thought, didn't even wait as long as we had to wait for our food. My pizza was okay, but nothing more. My mother's pasta was a tiny portion (and she doesn't eat much anyway), and my father had the proverbial hair in his food. The restaurant was loud and uncomfortable. So after the main course, we wanted to get out of the restaurant quickly and without dessert, but of course we waited a while longer for the bill. As we were walking out the door, the waiter came over and wanted to offer us another limoncello...No thanks, thank you. I have no idea where all these good reviews come from. Sometimes I get the feeling that many people these days have no idea about good food and service, yet still post "expert" insights. Whatever. Our conclusion: Once and never again!

This is the second time we've been extremely annoyed by the service. We know that the restaurant operates very strictly in shifts and makes reservations in order to accommodate the maximum number of guests in one evening. This basic attitude often results in a very aggressive tone towards guests. Yesterday, we made a reservation for three people and a dog on the terrace and were given a very small table right next to an occupied table for two. Here, the dog could only lie in the 50 cm wide area between the two tables. The rest of the terrace, however, was almost completely empty. When we asked if we could get another table, we were told that everything was reserved and that three people certainly wouldn't be seated at a table for four. This table was reserved for five people with two dogs anyway. The fact is that until shortly before 9 p.m., NO other guests arrived on the terrace, and the guests who were there had to sit squashed together in one corner of the terrace. Sorry, Pietro, greed is leading to absolute dissatisfaction among your customers. And if it's in your interest for your waiter to explain this situation with blatant lies and impertinence instead of being cordial and asking for understanding, he's done a really good job. Up until now, we've overlooked the regular service glitches because the food was good. But even that was at a low yesterday. The much-praised pizza was just okay, but the pasta aglio e olio was extremely disappointing, and the saltimbocca was also boring/bland. What a shame. The fact that we were then made to wait forever to pay the bill (I then went inside to pay and saw the waiters there comfortably leaning against the counter) was a power play that a professional restaurateur shouldn't have to resort to. Very sad that you feel insulted and act up when guests politely request a comfortable seat.

This was by far the worst service and evening in a long time. Unfriendly, stressed-out waiters who gave a rude answer to every question. We waited an hour and a half for the food. Once, never again.

We've eaten something from there twice. The first time, the pizza was completely wet and soggy and simply disgusting. The second time, I thought maybe I was just having a bad day and tried it again, and it was exactly the same, just soggy and tasteless. Don't be fooled by the reviews. Of course, it's a matter of taste, but if you like that kind of thing, well...

Typical Italian restaurant with exquisite Italian-Neapolitan cuisine. The use of high quality products makes the difference in the flavour. Exquisite pizza, not to mention the record-breaking parmigiana 👌 I really appreciated the kindness and professionalism of the staff and a big thank you to Carlo who was able to advise us with kindness and professionalism. If you are in Esslingen I highly recommend making a refreshment stop at Pietro's!!

Top quality from every point of view. Extremely fresh ingredients, dishes with attention to the smallest details and a presentation that is an experience in itself. The staff are extremely friendly, attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere is elegant but relaxed, perfect for both a romantic dinner and a special occasion. The quality/price ratio is absolutely justified. I will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-level gastronomic experience.

We spent a lovely day in Esslingen. In the evening we were lucky to get a table at the trattoria because the restaurant was busy. We were very excited about the selection of food, especially pizzas. The food we ordered was delicious and the service was very friendly. Overall we were more than satisfied with the restaurant. Therefore we can only recommend it.
