Wir waren rundum begeistert! Das Essen war super lecker und frisch zubereitet, man merkt sofort die hohe Qualität der Zutaten. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der freundliche und aufmerksame Service – man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Auch das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Insgesamt ein tolles Erlebnis, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können das Restaurant absolut weiterempfehlen!

Wir waren zweimal dort. Einmal an einem Samstagabend zu einem Event mit Essen. Das Essen war an diesem Abend vorgegeben und insgesamt gut. Allerdings gab es relativ viel Fleisch und leider keine Möglichkeit, die Menge oder eine Alternative auszuwählen. Die Musik war dafür sehr gut und die Stimmung insgesamt super, mit einer typisch bulgarischen Atmosphäre. Ein weiteres Mal waren wir unter der Woche ganz normal bulgarisch essen. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und sehr lecker. Insgesamt hatten wir eine sehr gute Erfahrung, besonders wenn man gut essen und eine typisch bulgarische Atmosphäre genießen möchte.

Sehr gut gegessen in einem gut-bürgerlichem Ambiente. Sehr große Auswahl, prima, frisch und für den kleinen Geldbeutel gut geeignet... Wir kommen wieder...👍💯🌹

Wunderbares bulgarisches Restaurant! Ich habe das Restaurant Cavo in Esslingen besucht und war restlos begeistert. Das Essen ist von sehr hoher Qualität – authentisch, köstlich und hervorragend angerichtet. Alles, was ich probiert habe, war frisch und mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Der Service ist mehr als perfekt – die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, zuvorkommend und stets hilfsbereit. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und einladend, man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Ich kann das Restaurant Cavo jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der in Esslingen hochwertige bulgarische Küche und exzellenten Service sucht!

Essen ist halbwegs lecker, aber absolut kalt. Nach dem "erwärmen" war fast genauso kalt. Vielleicht war zu wenig personal. Schade.ich war am 31 dezember hier, und nie wieder. Essen sollte man warm servieren, und nicht anders. Vielleicht gut genug für die pferde die nebenan hausen.

Ich verstehe, dass es für die Restaurantbetreiber schwierig ist, aber ich bin trotzdem ein Gast und habe meine Ansprüche. Es gibt nicht nur einen Stern, weil es ein bulgarisches Restaurant ist. Schon bei der Reservierung lief alles schief. Uns wurde gesagt, dass wir, ich zitiere: „10 Euro für den DJ, weil es nicht viele Reservierungen gibt“ …???? Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob es mein Problem ist, wenn es keine Reservierungen gibt, aber dem bulgarischen Restaurant zuliebe haben wir das in Kauf genommen. Das Restaurant befindet sich in einem Gebäude (im Dunkeln konnte ich es nicht genau erkennen), aber der Flur davor riecht wie eine Mischung aus Stall und Toilette. Drinnen riecht es nicht. Nun zum Service … Wir waren an fünf Tischen mit insgesamt maximal 25 Personen. Die Getränke kamen normal. Aber das Essen … es war schrecklich. Zunächst einmal: Auf der Speisekarte fehlten die Gewichtsangaben für die Gerichte. Da ich Fisch bestellt hatte und auch hier keine Angabe zum Gewicht zu finden war, ging ich davon aus, dass er wie üblich zwischen 250 und 300 Gramm wiegen würde. Ich kann es nicht mit Sicherheit sagen, aber es war wahrscheinlich nur die Hälfte von dem, was ich erwartet hatte, und er war komplett verbrannt. Das Essen ließ anfangs sehr lange auf sich warten. Der Salat beispielsweise brauchte eine halbe Stunde. Abgesehen vom Grill, den man eigentlich nicht vermasseln kann (obwohl der Typ, der die Steaks probiert hat, anscheinend schwarzen Pfeffer – und zwar in großen Mengen – als sein Lieblingsgewürz ansieht), war alles andere ziemlich schlecht. Kurz gesagt: Ich würde dort nicht wieder hingehen. Das Essen war nicht lecker, der DJ war die zehn Euro nicht wert, und die Bedienung (die Besitzer) war unhöflich.

Absolute insider tip The food is sensational and, for me as a Bulgarian, a particular highlight, especially the clay pots and clay platters. Homemade lemonades and Bulgarian wine. The bread is freshly baked and homemade. The atmosphere, both inside and outside in the summer, is very cozy; you can even watch the horses being ridden. This is a wonderful place to stop after a walk in the forest or a hike. Highly recommended!

Many of the dishes listed on the menu weren't available. The pizza oven wasn't turned on, so there was no pizza. Aside from cucumber soup, there were no appetizers. If you wanted anything else, you had to go to the waitress. There was a reason why there were hardly any customers. And in the end, the card payment suddenly didn't work. Just annoying and can ruin your Saturday evening.

The Cavo in Esslingen is located near the Jägerhaus, near the glider airfield, on a hill in the forest. The interior is rustically furnished, with a direct view of the adjacent riding arena, where you can watch the horses during training. Outside, there's a balcony with parasols offering a fantastic view of the horse training area. The food includes excellent schnitzel Civapacici, and the clay platter with chicken is also highly recommended. The prices are relatively reasonable for Esslingen, while the quality is very good. There is ample parking in front of the restaurant or next to the riding arena. An absolute insider tip for Esslingen.

I was absolutely thrilled with my visit to the Cavo restaurant in Esslingen! The atmosphere is modern and cozy at the same time - you immediately feel at home. The staff was very friendly, attentive and accommodating. I would particularly like to emphasize the quality of the food: fresh, lovingly prepared and tasted great! The Mediterranean dishes are authentic and prepared with great attention to detail. The wine selection also matched the food perfectly. I will definitely be back and can recommend Cavo to anyone who wants to eat well in Esslingen!

Staying in Cavo is 100% worth it! Mixed Bulgarian and Italian cuisine has something for every guest. The service is extremely friendly and tries to prepare everything perfectly. The ambience next to a horse farm offers a great view right next to the tables! We would love to come by again.

The owner is extremely friendly and a good conversationalist. The restaurant is extremely pleasant, warm and decorated in a simple but cozy country house style. The food is more than excellent. The Bulgarian kebabs are top notch and I particularly welcome the tradition of getting a free kebab with every beer you order! I was pleasantly surprised and thanks to the quick work in the kitchen we were served in about 10 minutes. The prices are rather cheap. For a few hours I felt like I was at home. A very cool view from inside the horse training hall. We will definitely visit this cozy place again. I can only recommend it. You will be satisfied 🫶👍🍀

The restaurant is located in a beautiful area high in Esslingen next to a wooded area and a horse stable! I could not list all the trophies and awards from horse racing. This is an example of business abroad, I'm just speechless! Everything is thought of and made with heart and soul! Can't wait to go again! Highly recommend to everyone!

The new restaurant directly in the Esslingen Riding Club building offers almost experience gastronomy. You either sit directly in the restaurant and look into the hall where riding lessons take place, or when the weather is really good on the excellently located terrace, where you have a direct view of the large riding arena... Totally interesting for young and old, especially For example, if you have caught a jumping lesson 😍... In addition to the visual experience, there are also the really delicious dishes. From hearty to light and healthy, from schnitzel to pizza to salad - the menu is varied and will keep young and old full and happy. We were there shortly after the reopening and will definitely come back, thank you!
