"Es tut uns leid, es ist Winterpause da es Regnet" - im Juni.... Eigentlich ein sehr tolles Restaurant mit leckerem Essen und tollem Service ABER die Begründung mit "Es regnet also haben wir Mittagspause" ist der größte Schwachsinn den ich je gehört habe.... Also kleiner Tipp, wunderbares Reataurant aber nur solange es nicht regnet.

Super leckeres Essen und noch leckereres Eis. Auch die Bedienung ist locker und sehr freundlich. Hier komme ich garantiert wieder.

Wir waren dort zu zweit essen und es hat uns beiden sehr gut geschmeckt! Die Kellner waren sehr aufmerksam und höflich. Einzig die Handyspielerei und -telefonieren der anderen Gäste hat uns ziemlich gestört, Aber das gehört wohl zum heutigen Zeitgeist miteinander essen zu gehen, aber am Handy zu spielen! DAFÜR kann aber das Restaurant überhaupt nichts 😉 Wir kommen gerne wieder- vielen Dank ‼️

Auf Empfehlung mal besucht. Wir waren so zufrieden mit Essen und Service, dass es schon eine Wiederholung. Und wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal, obwohl wir eine längere Anfahrt haben.

Mondänes italienisches Restaurant am Dom in Zwickau. Hochfeine Speisen und exzellenter Service zu fairen Preisen. Pizza wird zum Festschmaus und alles andere auch. Immer wieder. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Ich war dort Pizza essen und es war wirklich sehr lecker. Das Personal war super freundlich . Außerdem hat das Restaurant ein tolles Ambiente – mitten in Zwickau. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Ich komme auf jeden Fall gerne wieder! Vielen lieben Dank.

Hat sehr gut geschmeckt und freundlicher Service

Wir waren für einen Besuch über Nacht in Zwickau. Dabei stießen wir auf den Italiener. Wir waren sofort begeistert! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und gab uns sofort einen Tisch, obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten. Das Essen kam zügig und war einfach köstlich. Echte italienische Pizza und ein klasse Carpaccio. Ebenfalls zu empfehlen ist die hausgemachte Limonade! Wenn wir das nächste Mal aus Berlin anreisen sind wir definitiv wieder bei euch! Macht weiter so!

Typisches italienisches Restaurant direkt am Hauptmarkt und dem Dom. Sehr gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken, nettes Personal. Es gibt auch eigenes Eis im Straßenverkauf. Empfehlenswert.

Ambiente war schön. Wir saßen bequem und hatten genug Platz um uns herum. Die Pizza war gut. Bedienung war freundlich, flott und aufmerksam. Alles in allem zu empfehlen!

Wir waren eigentlich immer gern hier, beim letzten Besuch wurden wir enttäuscht. Die Kellner waren unfreundlich. Es kam das falsche Essen, der Umtausch wurde erst abgelehnt, es wäre doch dieselbe Soße. Dabei hatte ich Lasagne bestellt und Rigatoni bekommen. Als ich kein Trinkgeld gegeben habe, hat sich der Kellner wortlos vom Tisch entfernt. Es geht besser.

Wir waren im "Restaurant zum sprintenden Kellner" mit dem Essen zufrieden. Die Portionen sind groß und schmecken wirklich gut. Die Preise sind in Ordnung und der Service ist freundlich. Einzig die "Rennerei" der Kellner ist mit der Zeit echt nervig und bringt erhebliche Unruhe ins Restaurant. Die Kellner rennen nicht nur, sie sprinten regelrecht. Dies ist uns nicht zum ersten Mal aufgefallen und trübt den Eindruck etwas. Alles in Allem kann man sagen, was die Kellner zu schnell sind ist die Küche zu langsam... Aber es war auch Samstag... 😉

Dieses mediterrane Restaurant im Zentrum Zwickaus ist die beste Empfehlung für schmackhaftes Essen, moderate Preise und sehr freundlichen Service. Immerwieder gern!

Die Pizza war superlecker. Wir hatten Diavola und Salami, und beide waren hervorragend.

Sehr gute Italienische Küche, die Kellner haben immer einen lockeren Spruch drauf. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Essen war sehr gut, der Wein ebenfalls und der Kellner war sehr emphatisch. Absolut empfehlenswert.

The pizza diavola's spicy sausage was quite salty, but the sppagetti bolongese was especially delicious, with a rich cheesy tomato sauce and Parma cheese chunks.

Trattoria Da Mert in Zwickau is highly recommended! The food is authentically Italian, freshly prepared, and simply delicious. I'd especially like to highlight the outstanding service: the entire team is exceptionally friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. You can tell that they put their heart and soul into their work. I will definitely be back and can recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Italian food in Zwickau! Parking is available directly in front of the restaurant, however, I recommend parking in the underground garage at Kornmarkt.

Six of us spontaneously visited the trattoria on a Friday evening and got a table without any problems. We were served very quickly and didn't have to wait long for our drinks and food. The bruschetta and pizzas were delicious and freshly prepared. Unfortunately, the pasta was soft and reminded us more of cafeteria food than Italian cuisine. A shame. The staff were quick to clear up and pay, but I didn't find them particularly friendly. Bottom line: Getting a table spontaneously seems to work well, and the pizzas are great. If you like pasta al dente, you probably shouldn't order pasta here.

We celebrated our wedding at this restaurant; everything was lovingly designed and prepared down to the smallest detail. The food was very, very good and delicious. Our guests were served at the same time, so no one had to wait, even though the rest of the restaurant was packed. Kudos to the waiters, who always had a smile ready for us... that's what makes celebrating fun! Best wishes and thank you for everything... The Schmucker family

My request to have the child's meal served at the starter time was ignored, as was my request to order new drinks. But the food is very tasty.

A great Italian restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. Prices are typical for the area. Card payments are accepted. Parking is limited due to the city center location.

Initially, a very good impression with high prices. The bruschetta was also good. But the spaghetti in three dishes unfortunately ruined the whole thing. It was a thick carbonara with cream, and everything was rather tasteless. The aglio olio was similar. It wasn't spicy at all. We told two waiters. Unfortunately, they didn't respond at all. A shame. Spaghetti is free. It's a shame they neglect it so much.

Charging €1.00 for an empty plate so my little one can eat pizza is extremely cheeky! It wasn't even signposted! They didn't even mention it when I asked! The food was great, and so was the waiter! But the plate thing is a disgrace.

I won't judge the food. I'll just say that the pizzas need at least five minutes in the oven. But the drinks. I don't know if they think we're in the galleries of Milan. Where have you ever ordered a liter of Lambrusco without seeing the bottle, but instead coming in a pitcher, and charged €30, or four glasses of wine? I don't know to what extent that's legal. Because I didn't order four glasses. I ordered a liter of Lambrusco in a pitcher. And one more observation. Are we going crazy and now think it's normal to pay more for a liter of water than for gasoline? €7.10 for a bottle of water that's not even a liter? I've been going to this restaurant since it opened; last year I felt it had lost a lot of ground. After what happened yesterday, I assure you I won't be back. I won't judge the food. Just make the pizzas in a minimum of 5 minutes. Pero, las bebidas. You can't see what you're looking for in the galleries of Milan. You can see that you have a glass of lambrusco, you don't have to drink the bottle, it is served in jarra, and the cobren is 30€, plus 4 copas of wine. This doesn't mean it's legal. Porque yo no pedí 4 copas. Pedí a litro de Lambrusco in jarra. Y otra observation. Nos estamos volviendo locos y ya vemos normal pagar más caro el litro de agua que la gasolina? 7'1€ for a bottle of water that isn't lit? Llevo visitando éste restaurante desde de su inauguración, la el año pasado me pareció que había perdido mucho. Con ésto de ayer les aseguro que no voy a volver.

Both the ice cream and pizza here are very, very delicious. On our last visit, the service was beyond disappointing. During every interaction (no, we had no questions or special requests), the waiter sighed and groaned in annoyance. Getting him back to the table to pay proved to be a real challenge, even though there were only four other tables occupied.

The food was good, but not particularly good. The fruit flies in the balsamic vinegar were a bit disgusting. Otherwise, the Italian was nice, but the staff member initially told me that card payments were only possible for €20 and over, and that I had to order something else. After a long discussion, it was finally okay.

So, it did decline considerably after opening, but now it's again highly recommended! Friendly, prices still manageable, and the atmosphere is especially recommendable in the evenings...

We wanted to reserve a table for Saturday evening. Since no one answered the phone, I sent an email. Unfortunately, there was no response, so we couldn't get a table. We stood there and no one responded. It's a shame; we would have liked to try your hot dishes.

We have always eaten here when we visit Zwickau and think this restaurant is one of the best.

I rarely have a WOW experience when we go out to eat. I had one here. The food was exceptionally good and the service very good.

Hey, Alleemann! I was very hungry. The starter was top-notch, but when I ordered tagliatelle with salmon, zucchini, and lobster cream sauce, I asked if it was a cream sauce. They confirmed this. I think it's simply a language barrier. Anyway, I had to try pasta with tomato sauce (I don't like tomato sauce). I told them right after the food arrived that I had specifically asked what kind of sauce it was. They said they couldn't do anything. I hope the waiter books a damn language course with the €70 he earned. I hate tomatoes. But the food is actually OK.

The food was delicious. Unfortunately, when we tried to pay by card, the waiter became a bit grumpy and said we could only pay with cash, even though there's a "Giro payment symbol" on the restaurant's entrance door.

We highly recommend this place. The pizza was excellent. The side salad was also excellent. The ice cream was delicious, and our request for just one scoop for dessert was easily accommodated. Friendly service, and the wait time was reasonable. We were there on a Sunday afternoon, and there were still a few tables available. It's very pleasantly quiet, at least on Sundays, and it's easy to have a conversation.

A very fine meal, and one that lasted a long time. The only thing that bothered me a little was that the tablecloths and chairs were occasionally stained or dirty. Hence, no 5 stars.

The food was excellent and very plentiful. The seating, which we previously criticized, is very comfortable and stable. So, all in all, very good.

Today I was only in Zwickau for a short time and ended up in the Trattoria da Mert, which looks unassuming from the outside, quite by chance. The service started a bit slow, but then became very friendly and attentive. My Spaghetti Mare Monte was absolutely delicious. Many thanks to the kitchen, I'll be back.

It was actually quite pleasant until it came to the tip. Unfortunately my husband couldn't give one and from that moment on we were treated very rudely. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place.

Always a pleasure to eat there. Pizza and pasta are very good, at least to my taste. Price performance is completely right here. However, I can't say anything about the meat and fish dishes. One or two more vegetarian dishes or even a vegan dish on the menu would be the icing on the cake. The ice cream is also highly recommended. The red wine didn't completely convince me, but the Aperol Spritz was great. I would particularly like to mention the incredibly nice and hard-working waiters. Kudos, you're doing a great job!

I can highly recommend this Italian restaurant. The food tastes very good, the staff is extremely friendly, helpful and always there when you need someone. The music is appropriate and at a pleasant volume. It is also clean and nice and bright thanks to the large windows. I really like the plants on the windows, so you have daylight but you don't feel like you're in a zoo.

Beautiful Italian restaurant in the middle of Zwickau. The ambience is beautifully designed, pretty and classy. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, the food was simply delicious! Bruscetta and tomato soup for the starter were excellent and the pizzas for the main course tasted very fresh and delicious. We came again and again and are always thrilled.

Had a scoop of cookies ice cream, rarely eaten such delicious ice cream!!!

The food was good, but there were a few deficiencies in the service that were due to the stress: the mushroom soup went down and I only got it after the main course.

There were two of us in this restaurant. The ambience was good. Unfortunately the service is not! Our glasses remained empty for half an hour before someone asked if we would like anything else (the restaurant was not full and there were 5 waiters on site). We had rack of lamb. The quality of the lamb was very subpar. Too much fat and dry. For me it was more on the level of bad Greek food. Sorry, but for 33 euros per portion I expect better quality.

We were looking for a restaurant on Saturday evening. Since the selection of options seemed manageable, we were happy that we got a table in the trattoria without a reservation. But we happened to make a very good choice! Because hospitality is lived here. From the greeting to the service at the table and the farewell, we felt noticed and welcome at all times. The mango salad and the freshly made ravioli rounded off the very good impression. Our recommendation!

Great expectations were raised when we entered, but unfortunately they were not fully met. We often found out about this Italian restaurant when we visited Zwickau and went to try it out with great expectations. The images on Google were already appealing. We reserved a day in advance and even got a window seat. When you come in, you hand over your jackets, are greeted in a friendly manner and taken to the table. The atmosphere is very elegant and I found the chairs particularly beautiful. The toilets, on the other hand, need to be repaired. One of the women's toilet doors no longer had a lock and the keyhole was stuffed with toilet paper. I thought it was great that there were children's chairs and a children's menu. The choice of dishes was really very inspiring. I had a hard time deciding and chose the salmon tartare and then a pizza della casa. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in both. The pizza dough and the entire pizza literally tasted like nothing. The strawberry lemonade didn't really look appealing, but at least the passion fruit was a good combination with the salmon tartare. After I commented that I didn't like the main course, the staff's mood became quite reserved. We were literally ignored. We expressed our desire to pay twice. After half an hour my husband went to the counter himself to pay. Unfortunately, the restaurant as a whole did not live up to expectations.

Nice restaurant with nice service. Food could have been more seasoned, was a bit bland. We specifically emphasized to the waiter that one ingredient should be left out and it was served WITH it... That shouldn't happen. Unfortunately, toilets are from a different planet. Should urgently be renovated.

A very nice Italian restaurant in the middle of the city right next to the cathedral. Delicious food, great service and nicely decorated. We arrived shortly before the lunch break and still got our food in peace. There was no rush or stress and we really enjoyed it. Always my pleasure.

There were six of us that evening and we were all extremely happy with the service and the food. I personally love creme brulee and today I had the most delicious one!

It was a very nice evening in the trattoria. We came without pre-ordering and still got two seats. The restaurant was full on Saturday evening. Very very friendly waiters. Very sophisticated but not aloof restaurant. In addition to pizza and pasta, there is meat and fish. We had sea bass and sea bream just perfect. The plates are well filled and super tasty. We'd love to come back.

There were two of us and we went to the restaurant at 1 p.m. We ordered a pasta and a spaghetti. The food was good and the staff was friendly. However, the staff cleared our plates without asking, even though we hadn't finished yet. Two minutes later the bill was brought to us without asking. The restaurant was still busy and it doesn't close until 3pm. At this point it was only 2 p.m. The behavior was very disrespectful towards the guests.

Cold atmosphere for Italians..Staff tried hard..Food ok..but nothing special.. The chairs on the tiled floor are very loud and annoying...maybe just stick felt on the chair legs...and Hefeweizen in a beer glass doesn't work at all...

Great food, great service, very friendly staff. Unfortunately it was much too warm in the "Separee" (upper floor), certainly due to the adjacent pizza bakery. The unfavorable wall color combined with the light and this warmth made the air appear cloudy. The lower dining room seemed much friendlier! But all in all very satisfying and delicious delicious delicious!!!

This restaurant makes you forget that you live in a place like Zwickau. There is a lot of choice of food and the staff are professional. If you want to take a trip to Italy, just eat Mama Mia there

The wine and the starter as well as the advice on this were very good. Saltimbocca alla Romana was satisfying. The space is still working. Attached is a picture of the delicious appetizer. Overall, you can go here, but I would try something different next time in the area.
