Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt, sogar den Kindern hat es gefallen.

Sehr authentisch, echt feine italienische Gerichte mit viel Raffinesse zubereitet und vor allem qualitativ hochwertigen Produkten. Am besten man lässt den Padrone einfach ein Menü zusammenstellen.

Sehr leckeres traditionelles italienisches Essen

Das Restaurant war abends voll, aber wir haben noch einen Platz gefunden. Der Service ist auf Englisch sehr schlecht, Deutsch oder Italienisch funktionieren besser. Das Essen musste etwas warten, war aber gut. Die Preise waren recht günstig.

Eine wunderbare Überraschung, trotz einiger weniger begeisterter Kritiken. Man muss wirklich mit dem Wissen hingehen, dass man in familiärer Atmosphäre speist, dann bekommt das Ganze eine ganz neue Dimension. Ich empfehle den Weißwein in der Karaffe als Aperitif (ich habe leider vergessen zu fragen, welche Rebsorte es war, wahrscheinlich Vermentino). Die hausgemachte Pasta ist einfach perfekt. Kurz gesagt: ein rundum gelungener Abend!

Ich komme seit 20 Jahren hierher, mindestens einmal bei jedem Berlinbesuch. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, legen Wert auf regionale Produkte und deren Qualität und sind dabei immer zugänglich und sorgen dafür, dass man sich sofort wie zu Hause fühlt. Vielen Dank, dass ich mich bei jedem Besuch so wohlfühle, obwohl ich nicht in Berlin wohne.

Besondere hausgemachte frische italienische Küche, reizendes Personal, wir hatten das Menü für zwei Personen

Köstliche und authentische italienische Spezialitäten werden in einem Restaurant serviert, das so überfüllt und chaotisch ist wie in einer kleinen italienischen Stadt – ein charmanter Ort mit gutem Essen.

Bin ziemlich enttäuscht. Wir hatten einige Zeit vorher angerufen und einen Tisch für etwa 10 Personen reserviert. Dieser wurde uns bestätigt. Leider war als wir ankamen nichts frei und kurzerhand wurde für uns draußen ein Tisch zusammengebaut. Leider war es draußen sehr kalt und windig, da hat auch der "naja es gibt da ja einen Heizstrahler" der ca 5 Meter entfernt montiert war, nichts gebracht. Das Essen war recht zügig da und auch in Ordnung aber für einen doch recht hohen Preis habe ich etwas mehr erwartet. Alles in allem hätte der Abend deutlich schöner und gemütlicher sein können. Wir hätten sicher auch noch mehr bestellt, wenn wir nicht draußen in der Kälte hätten sitzen müssen Leider war die Organisation an diesem Tag mangelhaft.

Wir waren zu fünft zum Abendessen dort und der Service war exzellent und aufmerksam. Die Angestellten waren hilfsbereit und überaus freundlich. Pino ist unglaublich zuvorkommend. Das Personal gab sich alle Mühe, uns tadellos und auf die bestmögliche Weise zu bedienen. Wir wählten das Menü so, dass wir von allem etwas probieren konnten. Die Vorspeisen waren köstlich und raffiniert, ein wahrer Genuss. Die ersten Gänge waren einfach himmlisch. Zarte und köstliche Gnocchi, Ravioli und Pasta waren alle hausgemacht. Die Desserts waren alle noch köstlicher als das vorherige. Es ist schwer, ein Gericht als das beste zu bezeichnen, denn alles war wirklich köstlich! Es gibt eine große Auswahl an exzellenten Weinen, darunter auch die Möglichkeit, Weine in größeren Mengen zu bestellen; wir hatten einen wirklich köstlichen Aglianico. Liebe zum Detail. Hausgemachter Limoncello. Das Wasser wird in Flaschen serviert, die mit Amethyst-, Quarz- und Bergkristallkristallen gefüllt sind, die bei jedem Vollmond energetisch aufgeladen werden – eine besondere Aufmerksamkeit für die Gäste. Mutter Angelina (91) ist eine wahre Naturgewalt. Sie kam vor dem Schlafengehen noch einmal vorbei, um sich zu verabschieden. Eine Geste, die wir sehr zu schätzen wussten. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und rundum verwöhnt. Wir fühlten uns wie zu Hause. Wir verließen das Restaurant zufrieden, satt und voller Energie.

Die Trattoria liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend und hat auch eine schöne Terrasse um im Freien zu essen. Der Gastraum ist eher rustikal, aber gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Essen ist gut und hat allen geschmeckt. Der Service ist zwar freundlich und bemüht, aber es fehlt am Überblick. Wir waren 10 Personen die nicht alle zur gleichen Zeit eingetroffen sind. Die ersten drei Gäste konnten ihre Getränke bestellen und bekamen die auch. Alle anderen mussten warten bis wir vollzählig waren und auch bereit waren das Essen zu bestellen. Noch ein kleiner Hinweis. Es macht keinen Sinn wenn die Hauptspeise schon serviert wird wenn die Vorspeise noch nicht verzehrt ist. Auch dann nicht wenn nicht alle ein Vorspeise haben.

Herzlicher Service, leckeres Essen und eine tolle Atmosphäre. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Feeling wie in Basilicata ❣️

Hervorragende authentische italienische Küche! Sekten außerhalb von Italien so gut gegessen!

​Lecker, gemütlich, wie zu Hause. Schneller Service. Angemessene Preise. Aber das Essen war eindeutig aufgewärmt. Es ist klar, dass die Zubereitung viel länger dauern würde, aber frisches Essen wäre viel leckerer.

Wir wolten zu unserem Hochzeitstag was besonderes, mein Frau hatte viel gelesen und war begeistert deshalb reservierten wir einen Tisch. Vorspeise war gut Nachtisch war gut aber der Hauptgang war voll versalzen. Meine Frau reklamiert und bekam das gleiche nochmal. Der Nachtisch ließ den Salzigen Geschmack einen Moment vergessen aber nach einem kurzen Moment war der salzige Geschmack wieder im Mund. Schade so das wir Die Positiven Reaktionen nicht nachvollziehen können. Vielleicht hatten wir nur Pech und der Koch/Köchin war verliebt. Aber wirklich schade das dieser besondere Tag durch die falsche Wahl des Restaurant so versalzen wurde. Musik war leider auch nicht unsere Erwartung Franz. Rap und American Musik erwarte ich nicht in so einem Lokal.

Es ist ein seltenes Vergnügen, in Berlin ein italienisches Restaurant zu betreten und sich mit dem Personal auf Italienisch zu unterhalten, denn die Trattoria a Muntagnola ist ein familiengeführtes, authentisches italienisches Restaurant. Wir wurden von den freundlichen Mitarbeitern begrüßt und erhielten Speisekarten auf iPads – ein Segen für alle mit Brille oder Sehbehinderung (zum Vergrößern auf den Bildschirm zoomen). Ich wählte Cacio e Pepe, das direkt am Tisch zubereitet wird: Frisch gekochte, heiße Pasta wird in die ausgehöhlte Mitte eines großen Hartkäselaibs (meist Pecorino Romano oder Parmigiano Reggiano) gefüllt. Meine Begleitung entschied sich für die würzigen und köstlichen Tagliatelle alla Norma. Zusammen mit einem Glas Soave genossen wir ein wunderbares Esserlebnis.

Ein Stück authentisches Italien (genauer gesagt: Basilicata).

Für mich eines der besten Restaurants in Berlin. Der Salat war absolut köstlich und frisch. Wir hatten Pizza und Pasta, beides war hervorragend. Die Bedienung war stets aufmerksam und sehr hilfsbereit. Ein erstklassiger Service. Ich spreche zwar kein Deutsch, aber das Buch aus dem Restaurant hat mich total begeistert. Ich habe es gekauft und besitze nun ein wunderschönes, signiertes Exemplar. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Restaurant ist gut, aber der Service ließ zu wünschen übrig. Wir waren zu dritt, und als wir bestellten, ging der Kellner, ohne alle Bestellungen aufzunehmen. Daraufhin bestellte jemand anderes. Das Essen kam nur sporadisch, und bei zwei Gerichten mussten wir sogar nachfragen. Insgesamt war das Essen aber lecker, und ich würde wieder hingehen.

Ich habe dieses Restaurant sehr genossen! Ein besonderer Dank geht an Tina, die mir aufmerksam zuhörte und das Lamm empfahl: Es war wirklich köstlich. Ich habe ihre Freundlichkeit sehr geschätzt, denn obwohl sie schon Feierabend hatte, kam sie noch einmal vorbei, um zu fragen, ob mir das Gericht geschmeckt hat. Nur eine Anmerkung: Der Preis erschien mir etwas hoch, wenn man bedenkt, dass ich für ein Lammgericht, Hauswein (ohne Wasser) und einen Kaffee 41 € bezahlt habe. Insgesamt aber ein sehr positives Erlebnis!

Eine tolle Atmosphäre, guter Service und fantastisches Essen. Entgegen der hier schlechten Bewertungen sei erwähnt: Das Essen war zügig da und das an einem Samstag Abend um 18.30 Uhr! Das Essen war heiß und einfach grandios lecker und besonderes. Und der Tisch wurde nach dem Essen abgeräumt. Lasst euch nicht von den schlechten Bewertungen abhalten. Wir haben heute Abend in diesem Restaurant gegessen, und was soll ich sagen? Die Atmosphäre war sehr einladend, das Personal ebenso, und das Essen war wirklich hervorragend. Durchweg authentische Qualität! Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen!

Die Calzone war sehr gut, die Pizzen waren gut, die Pasta war sehr schön angerichtet, aber nichts Besonderes. Einfach okay. Das Bier war gut.

Ein Stück Basilikata in Berlin. Traditionelle Gerichte aus der Basilikata, perfekt zubereitet, manchmal mit einer originellen Note, die dem Ganzen immer guttut. Alle Zutaten sind von höchster Qualität, und das Küchenpersonal ist wirklich erstklassig, darunter auch die charmante und kenntnisreiche Mutter der Inhaberin, die bereits über neunzig Jahre alt ist. Kein Gericht auf der abwechslungsreichen, aber dennoch traditionellen Speisekarte wird Sie enttäuschen. Im Gegenteil: Sie werden die Trattoria mit dem Gefühl verlassen, direkt in der Basilikata gegessen zu haben: exzellent, mit authentischen Aromen und rundum zufriedenstellend.

Leider war unser Besuch am 10. Februar 2026 enttäuschend. Meine Lasagne war kalt; wir mussten sie zurückgehen lassen, um sie aufwärmen zu lassen. Die beiden Gerichte, die wir zum Schluss bestellten, waren versalzen. Wir aßen nur, weil wir über 30 Minuten warten mussten. Wir waren aufgrund der Bewertungen dort, werden aber nicht wiederkommen. Ansonsten war alles ausgezeichnet: tolle Atmosphäre und guter Wein! Jeder sollte seine eigenen Erfahrungen machen.

Ich habe fünf Monate lang den Starken gespielt und immer wieder gesagt: „Ich vermisse Italien nicht, ich vermisse Italien nicht“, aber heute Abend haben sie mich zum Weinen gebracht, wie ein Kind, das sich nach seiner Mutter sehnt. In diesem Moment, wenn man einen Bissen nimmt und ihn hinunterschluckt, überkommt einen fast ein schlechtes Gewissen. ZWIEBELSUPPE Eine vollständige, altmodische Speisekarte aus Papier ist immer ein Pluspunkt.

Beim Trattoria a Muntagnola gewesen und rundum sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war wirklich gut – klassisch italienisch, ehrlich gekocht und geschmacklich überzeugend. Auch das Ambiente hat uns gefallen: gemütlich, lebendig und mit genau diesem Charme, den man aus alten italienischen Filmen kennt. Man fühlt sich fast wie in einer Szene aus einem Robert-De-Niro-Film. Service freundlich und aufmerksam, insgesamt eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, in der man gerne länger sitzen bleibt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

Really like this restaurant, the food is yummy, and the service has always been very friendly and quick. We always get the table without a reservation, but the place gets full in the evening.

Disappointing experience. I went there four days ago with some friends to try their homemade pasta. They ordered the amatriciana with ’nduja, but the spaghetti were clearly overcooked. I chose the special orecchiette with cime di rapa, which unfortunately turned out extremely bitter and unpleasant. Considering the price, around 22 euros for a single plate, the quality felt unjustifiably overpriced.

The food was very disappointing. All the pasta plates were overcooked, clearly also not home-made pasta and the menu was extremely overpriced considering the low quality of both the food and the service. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place, as it clearly a rip-off

We really messed up there. Lured in by the Tagesspiegel article, we were bitterly disappointed. The noise level in the restaurant was like a major train station. Conversations at the table were difficult; we were right in the middle of it. The service was an absolute disaster. They couldn't see anything, absolutely nothing. Empty drinks – no one even asked. You'd been sitting there for five minutes, and they already wanted to know everything. Appetizer, main course, dessert. Sorry, we're not ready yet. And then you're out, completely out of the running. No one came back. The beer was warm, the bottled beer... just about acceptable. Appetizer took about 25 minutes, main course 45 minutes. A complete flop. Lasagna – canned tomatoes without any seasoning in the top, overcooked lasagna sheets, and disgusting sausage mixed in. Pasta with salmon – lukewarm, sticky texture, and I've had much better. Spaghetti with lime and pesto – lukewarm and tasteless. With drinks, the bill came to €147.00. Sorry, I/we were there twice, once and never again.

My dears, that was a complete disaster! Within 10 minutes, we had three different people at our table, all wanting our appetizers, main courses, etc. We just wanted to have a drink first and decide in peace. Speaking of peace, it was so loud that our friend had to leave the restaurant before the main course even arrived; he was at his wit's end. Half the drinks were warm, and the table was so cluttered that the four of us felt very uncomfortable (art supplies, books, etc., and all the dishes). Nothing was cleared away. The food was mediocre; anyone who eats out a lot will agree. The pasta was overcooked, and the lasagna was inedible. In short, I left hungry and stressed. If you're looking for a good conversation and delicious food, I wouldn't recommend this place. The staff are certainly friendly, but they're lacking in certain areas. I was asked if the food was good, but my embarrassed "no" was ignored.

I ate at an Italian pizzeria in Berlin. The prices seemed a bit high, though that's probably in line with the city. The quality of the pizza and pasta isn't quite what we're used to in Italy, which is understandable considering we're abroad and the ingredients are different. In any case, it was a pleasant dinner in a very nice restaurant in a truly beautiful part of the city. Overall, a good experience, with some room for improvement in the cuisine.

We arrived at the restaurant at a time when there were only a few guests. Unfortunately, we noticed the rather unfriendly service right from the start: The waiter didn't respond particularly warmly to our individual orders. The "Antipasti Misti" appetizer unfortunately turned out to be a poor choice – the bread was tough and dry, and overall, the plate, in our opinion, didn't reflect the price. We were also disappointed with the main courses ("Tagliatelle" and "Pappardelle"). While we don't want to question the fact that the pasta was handmade, we were not at all impressed with its taste. Therefore, we returned a half-full plate. Given the relatively high price, we found this particularly unsatisfying. So we left the restaurant unenthusiastic and with little desire to return. At home, we also discovered that instead of a proper bill, we had only received an "information printout." We have since requested a correct bill from the restaurant.

Here you'll find authentic Italian food, cooked by Italians. Highly recommended for authentic, artisanal food made from quality ingredients. You can sit outside, and it's also pleasant inside. The service is friendly, just like in Italy.

We've been to Trattoria a Muntagnola a number times during our visits to Berlin over the years and we've always enjoyed a good meal with friendly service. This family run restaurant has dishes that are regionally inspired (making them more interesting we think) with fresh and tasty ingredients. Berlin loves Italian food and there are plenty of choices but Trattoria a Muntagnola is the place we keep coming back to. This year was even better and we enjoyed several meals here once again. For this visit we enjoyed the burrata with caramelised lemon, prawns wrapped in cucumber with lemon, seafood pasta and chocolate cake with caramelised lemon for dessert. Food is always fresh, well prepared and more diverse than other Italian restaurants we've tried. A nice wine selection with quite a few options makes the meal complete. If you are looking for a casual Italian meal (inside and outside dining available) with local vibes than Trattoria a Muntagnola is worth a visit. We look forward to our next visit.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The quality of the food and drinks offered is exceptional. Extremely delicious, no matter what you order, it's always a highlight. The staff is very friendly and competent. The atmosphere is very Italian. It's as if your Italian mother is cooking, and that's certainly true here. You should really be able to give it 10 stars.

Dieses Restaurant ist einfach fabelhaft. Als geschäftliches Essen geplant hatten wir einen wunderbaren Abend mit Getränken, super leckerem Essen und hervorragender Bedienung. Mit 6 Personen hatten wir eine echte Vielfalt an verschiedenen Speisen und alles war einfach nur gut! Zum Schluss vergaßen wir noch eine Tasche mit Babykleidung und am nächsten Morgen sagte der Anrufbeantworter es sei erst ab 17h auf. Tatsächlich habe es prompt einen Rückruf und wir konnten die Tasche direkt abholen. Danke noch einmal dafür und den schönen Abend. Ich freue mich auf bald

The tablet menu is something special. The food is authentic Italian and good. The wait for drinks, food, and later the food itself was not good. They opened on Sunday at 5:00 PM, and we were seated at 5:20 PM. At 6:15 PM, our food arrived, even though there were three tables occupied by 2-4 people in front of us.

We've been eating there for years. We like it. Friendly service, good food, and OK prices. I don't understand the negative comments. But it's often the case that people have different tastes. Regardless, it remains one of our favorite restaurants run by Italians! Keep up the good work and don't let the bad reviews sway you.

Unfortunately, a very bad experience. The quality of the food was very disappointing: dull flavors, ingredients that did not taste fresh at all and a general feeling that nothing was prepared with care or passion. Nothing to do with real Italian cuisine. What made everything even worse were the prices: very high, absolutely unjustified compared to what is served. In Italy, a place like this would close within three hours. Highly discouraged.

Har tidligere besøgt denne restaurant med meget god succes. Vi ankom en aften, hvor der ikke var travlt. Da vi havde bestilt maden kom drikkevarenene ned samt forretstallerknen. Denne blev ikke præsenteret, og det var derfor ikke en helhedsoplevelse at spise denne. Pizzaen manglede smag og der samme med pastaretten. Betjeningen er meget fraværende. Ok besøg men kommer der ikke igen.

Super delicious food and great, very friendly service. Here you feel a bit like you are in a trattoria in a small, rustic village in Italy. We would eat here again and again. Unfortunately our stay in Berlin is already over tomorrow…

Wir waren zum zweiten Male hier. Haben vor kurzem hier meinen Geburtstag gefeiert. Essen und Atmosphäre sind nach wir vor gut. Aber, am Ende erhalte ich einen Beleg "Keine Rechnung". Dieses Vorgehen stößt mich ab und ist bei einigen Restaurants anscheinend unausrottbar! Dann diese Tablets; nein muß nicht sein, ich habe lieber eine klassiche Speisekarte. Beim Griechen bekomme ich zum Schluß etwas aufs Haus. Hier nicht. Ach nee, komme nicht wieder.

We are satisfied every time we come here to eat! All the food is always fresh and of good quality, whether it's the home-baked bread, the pasta dishes with home-made pasta or the saltimbocca, which we had on our last visit. The guest room is comfortably furnished and lovingly decorated with motifs from the Matera region... Service was quick as always and very nice and accommodating. The own still water with the inlaid crystals is an eye-catcher for new guests :) The only point deducted is that the portions are sometimes very different. Some dishes are very small, others are normal portions. The fact that an extra service charge is charged for business credit cards or credit cards from abroad could also be solved differently... Nevertheless, a recommendation, we would love to come back! Reservation is recommended!

A great restaurant with an Italian flair...great host who is very authentic and offers excellent food. Highly recommended!!!

We were fascinated by how warmly the host served us and how much passion he put into his work! There is a vegan pizza on the menu and the veggie starter platter was also recommended to us! Great atmosphere, we'll be back!

The food was very good. However, I found the pricing to be quite ambitious. Both drinks and food are noticeably expensive in comparison and yet of a manageable size. I would still like to emphasize again that I have nothing to complain about the quality of the food.

We were at Muntagnola for the first time today. The restaurant is authentically and comfortably furnished. We were immediately greeted wonderfully by the boss and the waitresses also took great care of us throughout the evening. The house starters, pizza, pasta and the mixed dessert were perfect, there was absolutely nothing to complain about. Special requests for drinks were accepted without hesitation. At the end there was a birthday serenade and a fountain for our birthday child. Very very attentive and a really great visit! Thanks for the nice evening :)

Sono andato qui perché spinto dal programma Little big Italy. Proprietario, Pino, impeccabile nella sua organizzazione. Il cibo era tutto sommato molto buono, per essere un ristorante italiano all’estero da 30 anni. L’unica cosa che stona è l’arredamento, che punta troppo sullo stereotipo italiano (e per il quale, in verità, veniamo più derisi che apprezzati). Ad ogni buon conto, ci tornerei. Rapporto qualità prezzo equilibrato. Un saluto.

We ate here for the first time on Valentine's Day. The shop is cozy and feels “real”. The staff was super friendly, the boss served and assisted. There was a really nice atmosphere in the store. And now about the food - we thought it was really incredibly good! We were looking for such an authentic Italian restaurant! 🥀

Cold atmosphere, we ordered one Daily special and canelloni, portions were small, cold, tasted very bad. Didn't finish our meal. Dissapointing and expensive. Wine,bread and olive oil were nothing special, with no rich flavours.

Tried, nothing more! We ordered a seafood plate and a lasagne, a white wine and a beer. The lasagna tasted noticeably sour, the seafood and loveless salad were dry and left in the deep fryer for far too long. The atmosphere is cozy, perhaps a bit too much seating. The idea of ​​presenting the menu on trays is incomprehensible. All in all, the only conclusion that remains is: Nice, but I don't have to have it again!

We had reserved a table for New Year's Eve and wanted to have something to eat and drink there until around 8:45 p.m. Despite a bill of 145.00 euros, we were complimented shortly before 8:30 p.m. because we needed the table. Never again!

Super delicious food. Bruschetta was delicious! Homemade lemonade was great too! Very friendly service. Immediately gave the children something to play with - very attentive. Gladly again!
