If you’re expecting these to be just like Brussels’ chips, you might be disappointed—they’re not quite the same. However, they’re still very good overall.

My wife and I were here on 11/25/24. That was a grab in the toilet. Fries half raw and not hot. Meat not crispy and cold. The fries in the middle, Drink with sauce and therefore just muddy. Tables and floor dirty. Simply not recommended the store. LG Andrea and Frank from Oldenburg.

It's always delicious, but unfortunately it's gotten worse. This time there was only a small amount of meat on it, which was a shame.

Food quality was okay but not exceptional, and a rather high price, especially for drinks (3,6€ for a Coke - you'd pay less at the airport). My Currywurst was a bit dry; perhaps it was too long on the grill. 1 additional star for the variety of the poutine. A couple of further critical points thought: First and foremost, when you pay at the self checkout machine, it asks you to add a tip. This is a fast food restaurant where guests take care of everything service related themselves (waiting for food, bringing to the table, cleanup), so tip for what? Moreover, it asks before you even get the food. This is a place where many tourists go, probably also well-meaning Americans, but we should not let this nonsense spill over here, and this suggestion borders on harassment. I'd suggest strongly to reprogramme the checkout machines. Second, there are no guest toilets. According to the Gaststättenverordnung Berlin Restaurants with more than 10 places seating need to offer toilets, so I wonder why this restaurant offers none. Last, current prices on the pictures attached, as other pictures here are outdated. Constructive reply to my feedback—thus add another star. Moreover, I forgot to mention before: The servers were friendly even though the queue was long.

You can do it, but you don't have to. The sauces are very tasty and, in my opinion, freshly made. The fries are just fries... potatoes in strips from the hairdresser🤷‍♂️. My garlic pomnes were pretty average. The garlic was rather musty and wasn't my cup of tea. The fact that the sauce is on the fries makes everything rather soggy. I find the prices rather high. 4 people with a drink €60 is a lot when you consider that at the end of the day it's just potatoes in strips from the hairdresser. The sauces are the plus point and rent also has to be paid in this exclusive place.

Great food, easy to order with plenty of indoor & outdoor seating

Nice detail that you don't get a collection number, but a name on your receipt that is announced :). Our order was called 'Superman'. Food was also fine. Perhaps the price/quantity is not entirely in proportion.

The food in this establishment is excellent. Furthermore, you can always find a place or you can take the food with you and eat in the area. Very tasty and lots of vegan dishes and nice employees. Always recommended, regardless of whether you are nearby or have a special trip there. The fries are very tasty and well made! The offer is constantly being expanded and refined!

Soggy fries with any toppings. Everything is poured into a cardboard box and, of course, best ordered on the order screen and paid for in advance by card. System catering at its worst. Of course, what has been said is just my feeling. Others probably see it differently, otherwise the store would probably go bankrupt.

Good loaded fries, and good churros.

Food was good and very tasty. No spoon for the sauces. I think the currywurst is cut too big. Cleanliness could be better.(tables) And in my opinion, the price for the portions is too expensive. This is my personal opinion.

Ordered a Coke Zero and got a regular Coke. Unfortunately I only noticed this after the first sip. I was then informed that this was now my problem. I don't think it's my responsibility to make sure I get what I ordered.

I had Mexican sweet potato fries and a curry wurst. The fries were heavenly satisfying and the curry wurst was ok. The curry sauce was not great. The system where the staff is screaming when an order is ready is not ideal. Also, the place was quite messy and dirty. But would come back for the loaded fries for sure!

If you’re a big fan of fries, this is one of the best place I would recommend. The fries are in quite a big portion so definitely enough for lunch.

I arrived on foot after the 2024 festival of light. Potato->sweet potato change + adding onion enhanced the texture and it was very delicious. Chicken avocado taste great

Decent meal, Prices could be a little lower.

If the food in the shop tasted the same as it smells when you walk past, it would be the craziest chip shop in all of Berlin. But the food is low. Almost bland. The ambience, however, is quite cool. But it just doesn't taste good. And the prices are also excessive.

Lots and lots of frites. But hardly any meat (ordered the chicken schawarma). Not bad for 10€ but I won’t be going back. The restaurant was very clean and friendly service. Nice outside tanles on this warm September night. I was in the Berlin Mitte location.

In general, the food looks good, the images are striking, the combinations are strange and not at all tasty, many flavors piled up without meaning, the currywusrt sausages with ketchup, not good, the machine where you order the food asks for a tip!!! The place is very nice, with plants and well lit. The service was the worst, we asked about the bathroom and the guy who attends sent us to the shopping center next door, at the time it was already closed, then we saw a couple who came in and without buying they asked for the bathroom and yes there was a bathroom!!! The same person who denied us the bathroom accompanied them to the sink, it was in very bad taste! I don't recommend it

My friend was at Frittenwerk on Friedrichstr today. And want to complain. --- I was really disappointed with my visit to Frittenwerk on Friedrichstrasse. The store discriminated against me in a way that I find completely unacceptable in this day and age. As a man, I was denied access to the toilet even though I asked politely and the store is required by law to provide toilets. However, to my surprise, a woman right after me was granted access without any problems. Such sexist behavior is not acceptable and leaves a very bitter aftertaste. Frittenwerk should urgently work on its attitude and treat all guests equally, regardless of gender. I will avoid this store in the future. The responsible authorities must decide to what extent this corresponds to the legal requirements. ---

Very bad service, no sauce/ dip included with 5€ fries, that were not even tasty. Waitress with pink hair did decline water to little children after kindly asking. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE Neither fries nor churros to recommend.

Bro what is this, the wurst is so dry, it looks like cut up bread sticks. Nothing like the picture. Feels more like dog food. Be ashamed to serve this

The fries and sauce are good. The sausage in the currywurst has a strange crunchy layer like breading or pork rinds. I have had currywurst at several other places and none of them were like this.

Correct portion, fast service. The portion was perfect, approx. We waited 2 minutes after paying. The place is air-conditioned and cozy. 💕

had the turkey bbq fries. Too many sides on top of the fries making them soggy. Fries not freshly made, already not crunchy anymore and lacked salt. Too expensive for the quality. Approach of quantity over quality.

Fast food place that I've seen and people there always wanted to try. It seemed to me like a fast food chain that could get you out of trouble, but I didn't like the food itself. The food is based on French fries and you can accompany them with sausages, pulled pork,... and as a vegetarian option with falafel. There are quite a few options but in all of them the base is a lot of potatoes and a lot of sauce. Furthermore, this place does not have a sink.

On Friederichstrasse, not far from Checkpoint Charlie, it is suitable for a quick fried meal. They also have vegetarian dishes. Prices in line with those of similar restaurants in Berlin.

Be careful. There is no toilet inside but only for staff. You must pay public toilet far away and you don't know it after eating....super

The chili cheese fries were awesome. Pleasant spiciness and delicious sauces on top. Orders are placed via a terminal. Good service without long waiting times. Price is ok.

Ok, it’s true, the poutines don’t look crazy, I saw that straight away. So I had vegan sweet potato fries with avocado, white sauce and fresh tomatoes and it was very good!! A little expensive. The restaurant is very nice, the service fast and efficient. THANKS!

French fries are really delicious!!

We don't really like fatty food, so we preferred chicken bowls to potatoes. The menu here is very varied for potato lovers and some items look quite healthy. The portions are huge, the price-quality ratio is excellent. I highly recommend it! It would be great if there was a little more space to sit (maybe it seemed that way because of the unexpected flow of people) and we didn't find a restroom😅.

The food was very delicious and hygiene. The other best part of frittenwerk is staff which was very friendly and i will recommend to my friends to eat here.

We were repeatedly at the Frittenwerk in the Mall of Berlin and ordered Istanbul Street Fries. These are crispy fries with cross chicken kebab and salad. Everything was very tasty, well seasoned and delicious. On top there was an extra portion of chicken kebab, which is enough for two people. The order was placed at the terminal and everything was freshly prepared in about 7 minutes.

I was at the chip factory recently and it was just great! As soon as you walk in you feel at home because the atmosphere is really cozy and modern. The selection of different fries dishes is really great. I tried the classic poutine. It was super tasty – the fries were crispy and the toppings were really good. I would especially like to praise the manager, Mr. Singh. He was super friendly and really went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. He also helped me choose the right dish. His commitment and friendly manner make the experience there even better. I can only recommend Frittenwerk. If you're looking for delicious fries and good service, you've come to the right place. Interesting concept - a mix of McDonald's and street food. But instead of burgers there is a plate with meat salad, french fries and everything covered in sauce. It is good. The portions are large. The price is around 10 euros. There are cold drinks. You can also pay in cash at the checkout or with an online machine. They cook quickly, about five minutes. Cons - free revenge will have to wait, especially on weekends. No toilet.

Ordering was very easy. Staff were working extremely hard to fulfil orders as quickly as possible. Wait was good for how busy it was. The meal itself was good, probably a one off sort of thing. We had the chicken schwarma poutine which was good, but lacked chicken. Seating was limited inside so would definitely recommend getting there earlier for dinner.

Always worth a visit. We like to go there. Unfortunately the pulled pork variant has been taken off the menu. The staff on site is extremely friendly. If you don't know the Frittenwerk in principle, you should try it out. Is worth an experience.
