Super Location, sher gutes Essen und dazu sehr freundliches und gut gelauntes Team

Wir wollten eigentlich nur mal kurz zusehen, wie die Mannschaft des FC Bayern München landet, kamen jedoch zu spät. Dazu wollten wir uns auf die Terrasse des Restaurants setzen, da man von hier einen tollen Blick auf das gesamte Vorfeld hat, kamen ja nun aber zu spät. Umso freundlicher mit einer herrlich lockeren Einstellung wurden wir begrüßt, wir waren von so viel Freundlichkeit fast überwältigt! Wir blieben also um etwas zu trinken und eine Spargelsuppe zu genießen. Diese war hervorragend! Vielen Dank für diese Bewirtung! Wir kommen wieder!

Wow! Tolle Location direkt an der Landebahn mit einer einzigartigen Atmosphäre. Der Service war außergewöhnlich freundlich und aufmerksam, das Essen qualitativ hochwertig und sehr lecker. Die Preise sind zwar etwas höher, dafür bekommt man aber auch wirklich viel geboten. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder! ;)

Wir waren heute das erste Mal im Tower Restaurant. Es war so schön. Die Herzlichkeit einmalig, das Essen sooo lecker und besonders liebevoll angerichtet. Wir wurden unglaublich nett empfangen..wir sind sehr gerührt und kommen wieder. Danke.

Heute den Sonntag mit einem Cockpit Frühstück begonnen. Es hat sich mehr als gelohnt. Es war alles sehr lecker und dazu das Ambiente. Schwer zu toppen. Kommen bestimmt wieder.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ich war in diesem Restaurant und hatte ein tolles Erlebnis. Das Essen war hervorragend und offensichtlich mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Auch der Service war erstklassig – besonders unsere Kellnerin Filippa, die sehr freundlich und aufmerksam war und meinen Besuch noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen und werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. ✈️

Zwar etwas teurer, dafür aber sau lecker und natürlich eine super Location mit direktem Blick auf die Start- und Landebahn des Flughafens.

Ich war im Rahmen eines Theorielehrgangs für eine Woche in Schönhagen und hatte während der Zeit in der Tower Lodge genächtigt. Frühstücken und auch Mittagessen konnte ich im Tower Restaurant Cockpit und schon am ersten Morgen war ich recht begeistert! Gekocht und gebacken wird frisch und mit regionalen Produkten und das wirklich richtig lecker. Auf der Speisekarte findet jeder etwas, ob mit Fleisch, vegetarisch oder auch vegan. Der Service ist super freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam und auch das Ambiente im Restaurant ist modern und einladend. - Nicht zu vergessen: mit Blick auf das Rollfeld des Flugplatzes Schönhagen inklusive. Wer also in Schönhagen in der Nähe ist, sollte dem Tower Restaurant Cockpit auf jeden Fall einen Besuch abstatten.

Gleich um die Ecke und trotzdem noch nie da gewesen.Zum Weihnachtsessen war ich mit meiner besten Freundin da und was soll ich sagen,mega Ambiente,tolles Essen und super freundlicher Service.Das Essen war einfach hervorragend und reichlich.Für nicht als Fleischliebhaber,war das Rindertatar ein Traum und der Burger rundete das ganze ab.Und was soll ich sagen 14 Tage später war ich wieder vor Ort,weil es mir sooooo gut gefallen hat.Danke und p.s.ich komme wieder weil ist ja gleich um die Ecke und als Flugzeugliebhaber ein tolles Flecken um beide Leidenschaften Essen und Flugzeuge beobachten zu vereinen.

Wir waren heute morgen das erste Mal zu dritt mit unserem kleinen Sohn hier Frühstücken. Essen war fabelhaft und mehr als ausreichend. Es gab auch überhaupt an keinen Punkt etwas auszusetzen! Heute waren wir das erste Mal zum "normalen" Frühstück hier. Schon der Anblick beim Eintreffen war ein Erlebnis. Das selbstgebackene: Brot, Hefezopf, Zimtschnecken, Croissant war einfach nur super lecker. Die Auswahl von Obst, Salat, Käse, Wurst, selbstgemachten Marmeladen und Honig einfach super😋. Schade das wir nicht alles geschafft haben. Noch zum Schluss der frische O-Saft und das selbstgemachte Joghurt.... da schmeckt man den Unterschied. Fazit: einmal und sehr gerne wieder. Preis-Leistung 1+ Heute, 10.12.2025 20:⁰⁰ Uhr, habe ich eine Rezension gelesen welche eine Zusammenfassung durch die KI gelesen. Dort wird berichtet das der Service bei volleren Restaurant unaufmerksam und überfordert sei. Bis auf einmal wo eine neue Kraft eingearbeitet wurde kann ich diese Erfahrung NICHT bestätigen oder teilen. Die "Anfängerin" hat von Anfang an mit offenen Karten gespielt und war sehr bemüht. Hey Leute ward Ihr am ersten Tag Eurer Ausbildung zu 100% perfekt? Warum ward Ihr dann Auszubildende. Sollte eine solche Erfahrung zu den Kommentaren führen überforderter Service, dann schämt Euch. Freut Euch doch das Menschen eine Chance auf Arbeit erhalten. Auch ein Beweis das KI nicht bedingungslos vertraut werden kann (aber das ist meine persönliche Meinung) Ich bleibe dabei ALLES wirklicht gut und Fair

kleines und gemütliches Restaurant mit einen schönen Blick auf den Flugplatz. Man kann sein Essen und/oder Getränk genießen und dabei den kleinen Flugzeugen beim Starten/Landen beobachten. Im Sommer kann man das ganze auch auf einer schönen Terrasse genießen. Wir waren jetzt bereits mehrmals dort und immer wieder begeistert. Es finden auch immer regelmäßige Events statt. (BBQ, Weihnachtsessen, Adventsfrühstück, etc.) Das letzte Mal waren wir zu einem Frühstück dort. Das muss man in der Woche vorbestellen. Dafür bekommt man dann einen reichhaltig gedeckten Tisch, mit lauter leckeren Sachen (Wurst, Käse, Lachs) Frisches Brot und Brötchen (vor Ort gebacken), selbstgemachten Jogurt und Müsli. Auf Wunsch werden auch Eierspeisen (Rührei oder Spiegelei) frisch zubereitet und am Tisch serviert. Abgerundet wird das Frühstück mit einen frisch gepressten Orangensaft. Preis pro Person 26,50 € ist mehr als gerechtfertigt. Man sollte sich aber auch Zeit mitbringen, das ist nichts für ein schnelles Frühstück. Das einzige was man dann noch zusätzlich bezahlen muss sind die Heiß- oder Kaltgetränke zum Frühstück. Wir werden das auf jeden Fall mal wiederholen. Jetzt freuen wir uns schon auf das Weihnachtsessen am 1. Feiertag.

Ein absoluter Geheimtipp im südlichen Berliner Umland! Tolles Ambiente direkt im Tower mit tollem Ausblick aufs Flugfeld. Sehr freundliche und angenehme Bedienung und der Hammer ist die Küche …die Gerichte sind fast auf Sterne-Niveau…von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert, ein rundum-gelungenes Vergnügen…wir kommen sehr gerne wieder ! Danke und danke an Koch, dass wir die neue leckere Dessert-Variation probieren dürften …

Super Location, hervorragende Bewirtung, unbedingt hin und genießen! … Mehr als ein Jahr später: weiterhin schwer zu übertreffen, saisonale Gerichte, inhabergeführt, wunderbar! Wir schreiben das Jahr 2025: alles stabil auf sehr hohem Niveau, die Küche und der Service sind schwer zu toppen! Weiter so, ich bin zu selten aber immer mit großer Freude hier.

Das Gericht war optisch ansprechend angerichtet, besonders das bunte Gemüse und die Sauce machten auf den ersten Blick einen guten Eindruck. Geschmacklich konnte das Hirschgulasch jedoch nicht ganz überzeugen: Das Fleisch wirkte stellenweise etwas trocken, und die Aromen hätten insgesamt kräftiger und harmonischer ausfallen können. Die Beilagen waren solide, aber insgesamt blieb das Gericht hinter den Erwartungen zurück. Der Service war nett und auf der Terrasse sitzt man natürlich traumhaft. Aber insgesamt passt die Preis-Leistung zum eigentlichen Essen nicht.

Wir waren heute ganz spontan und natürlich zur besten Sendezeit - mittags - im Cockpit und durften uns dennoch direkt über einen freien Tisch auf dem beliebten Balkon mit direkten Blick auf das Vorfeld und die Runway freuen! Der gesamte Service war absolut höflich und aufmerksam. Ganz großes Danke an die junge Frau die unseren Tisch herzlich bedient hat! Das Essen (ich hatte das Kalbsschnitzel mit Kartoffel-Gurken-Radieschen-Salat) war sehr schön angerichtet und entsprach definitiv gehobener Küche. Auch der Kuchen als Dessert war frisch und sehr schön zu genießen. Einzig über das angebotene Bier lässt sich sicher streiten: Ein regionales Pils spricht mich mehr an, als bayerisches Brauwasser aus Weihenstephan. ;- ) Alles in Allem kommen wir gerne wieder.

We were here for a special birthday. The coffee and cake were excellent, with a varied selection of cakes and very good quality. In the evening, there was a buffet with classic salads, green salads, and grilled food, which was equally varied and of the highest quality. In this gastronomically dull region, the cockpit stands out as a welcome relief. A top-notch breakfast with fresh ingredients, homemade jam, and crisp vegetables. Main meals are colorful, excellently prepared, and well worth the moderate price. The service is informal and welcoming, and the owners are simply fantastic. Great events are held throughout the year. And if you don't feel like going home, there are several rooms available. The airfield ambiance and the natural surroundings are simply divine!

An insider tip for all (racing) cyclists who want to take a quick coffee break (or more). The cake is super delicious and homemade. From the terrace, you have a great view of the runway.

Only God gets 5 stars... Otherwise, I'd be inclined to give the service 4.5 stars and the food 4.3 stars, based on my visit on the early evening of September 4, 2025. The restaurant's design is good and functional, and the terrace is very pleasant. I enjoyed two snacks with a glass of Pinot Gris – the excellent crispy tart with rosemary figs and the autumn leaf salad with seeds, herbs, and homemade bread. As usual, my special request regarding the salad was easily fulfilled. Reservations are recommended during the season and on weekends for lunch and dinner. This also speaks volumes about the hospitality and quality.

We were visiting Zossen and were looking for a nice destination in the area for an outing with our toddler. The little one was absolutely thrilled by the many planes taking off and landing, and we enjoyed the great food and the exceptionally friendly service. This is our third visit to the Tower Restaurant Cockpit, and we're thrilled every time. This time we made a reservation by phone for a birthday – it went smoothly, and right from the moment we arrived, we noticed how friendly and attentive the team is. The service is truly exceptional: super friendly, professional, and always with a smile. The food was an absolute highlight. Every plate was perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented, and of truly high quality – you can immediately tell the passion that goes into the cooking here. We also particularly liked the atmosphere: modern, cozy, and with a fantastic view of the airfield and the forests, which makes the visit even more special. All in all, a restaurant where everything just fits perfectly – service, cuisine, and ambiance. We definitely give it a 5-star rating, and it certainly won't be the last time we'll be here! The service and the view of the flight operations are absolutely first-class, the food is good, but in my opinion, doesn't quite live up to the prices. The cheeseburger was good, no question, but for over €20, I wasn't expecting a traditional pre-made patty. And the portion of fries was unfortunately a bit small considering the extra charge. But the view while eating is really beautiful, and the service is absolutely attentive.

A lovely destination that we've known and frequented for a long time. Super friendly and professional service, as well as creative and delicious food. Deducting one star because I found the portion of the main course (I had the schnitzel) to be too small. For €25.00, I expect more. The same goes for the homemade iced tea...nothing special, far too little for €6.60, and incredibly sweet and tasteless. There's still room for improvement!

A fantastic restaurant with a beautiful terrace overlooking the airfield. The ambiance and view are magnificent. The very friendly service is particularly noteworthy. The food is homemade, regional, and seasonal – the tarte flambée was particularly delicious and creative. An all-around wonderful experience that I highly recommend!

You keep finding gems like this. A truly fantastic restaurant right next to Schönhagen Airport. Five of us (including two children) were there, and everyone loved it – delicious, freshly prepared food, a great view of the runway (two planes took off despite the strong wind), and very friendly staff. More expensive than average, but definitely worth every euro. A definite recommendation, even or especially for a family outing.

It was a delight to eat here: asparagus, veal schnitzel, cake, house lemonade, espresso. All the staff were very nice; it was a pleasure for me. When the weather is nice, the terrace with a view of the micro airfield is very pretty, but unfortunately, I wasn't that lucky. Please don't confuse "affordable" with "cheap."

I became aware of the place through a restaurant tester I follow on Instagram, so I looked at the website and immediately fell in love with the ambience, the food, the surroundings and the many positive reviews. Since we wanted to have a nice day today, we had a really good time. In addition to the delicious, high-quality food, the flight operations were also a highlight. It was a wonderful time and it won't be the last time we visit these friendly people.

Exceptionally good cuisine, with heart. My girlfriend gave me a visit to the Cockpit restaurant for Christmas. Yesterday the time had come, we sat on the terrace, were able to watch the flight operations and were first warmly welcomed and then treated to culinary delights. Sooo delicious and sooo a cool atmosphere. We love coming here and enjoying the view when the weather is nice! The food is incredibly tasty and beautifully/modernly prepared. Sure, it's a little more expensive, but it's still worth it if you're looking for a special dining experience. The currywurst is awesome because the homemade curry sauce is really fruity. The drink variations are also very cool and refreshing! The boss and his employees are very nice and friendly.

Restaurant with a direct view of the airfield.

Very nice destination, super nice staff, delicious cakes and dishes. You sit elevated and simply watch/follow the planes arriving and departing with coffee or wine. Whether you are a motorcyclist, car driver, cyclist or pedestrian... everyone is warmly welcomed here.

I understand that the combination of the view and the lack of gastronomic alternatives drives up the prices - but with prices of around 30 euros for a main course, the quality should be right. Our burgers and fries (vegetarian and with meat) were clearly made with old frying fat. The other dishes at the next table also looked questionable.

It was a super sunny day and it's a great view... watching the planes take off and land is really magical... the food is delicious and not for the small budget... but that's made up for by the view ...even if it's a bit windy...👍🏼definitely another point to stop... Two comments first: A basic requirement for visiting this restaurant is the willingness to pay a reasonable price for food❗ In addition, on the first page of the menu it is stated that in this restaurant the "you" is used. If you don't want that, you should stay away. Otherwise everything was excellent❗ No matter what it was about, whether cake, ice cream, drinks or dishes, everything was served in an extremely attractive manner. So successful that there were even short conversations with strangers at the neighboring tables and people laughed together. And this puts the statement I made in the first comment into perspective: Yes, if you want cheap, you have to go to a fast food chain! Here, high-quality goods are served in an attractive manner by attentive (but NOT intrusive) staff❗ When the weather is good, the terrace is a special feature: The name of the restaurant is based on the fact that it is located in the tower of Schönhagen airfield. With a bit of luck, which we had, you can even see historic aircraft taking off or landing. For calculation, if your interest has been aroused: We had a cheeseburger (should be called a tower burger, as high as it was), a veggie burger (made of sheep's cheese and grilled watermelon loaded with lots of greens), a portion of French fries (I couldn't finish them, luckily my companion helped and still some remained 😅), 0.5l beer and 0.33l draft soda (Rixdorfer / glass bottle, the only one I buy privately). The bill was €45.90 and in our opinion, considering the quality, portion size, environment and service, it was worth every cent! A fair price that only seems high at first glance❗ We were extremely satisfied, it couldn't have been better... Next time I'll order a meat dish, the ribs from the next table looked inviting (even though I was stuffed 😉) A question to the operators: There were no ashtrays, not even outside. Is smoking permitted? Since we only stopped for one stop, it wasn't important; I simply didn't smoke for a few minutes! However, it would be definitely relevant for future visits! And, because it wasn't asked for below: a drinking bowl was brought along with the menu without being asked for a dog at the next table.
