The atmosphere is really cozy and you immediately feel at home. However, the food disappointed us. The rice was cooked far too soft and sticky, almost like porridge, which was particularly noticeable with the sushi. We weren't impressed with the taste, and unfortunately overall it wasn't recommended. There are definitely other, nicer places with better food that we would prefer in the future.

Very tasty Vietnamese cuisine and a great team. We are warmly welcomed because we eat there often ;o). When you order sushi, it comes to the table extravagantly decorated...great fun for all the other guests too.

We have been weekly customers at Toshi Sushi & Asian Kitchen for years. The quality of the food is consistently good and the taste always impresses us. The moderate price adjustments last year are understandable given inflation. Unfortunately, there are often mix-ups with our orders. For example, the miso soup in the King Set is significantly smaller than the version ordered individually. In addition, the Tom Kha Gai  was less than half the usual size when I last ordered it. These discrepancies increasingly cloud our experience and we are disappointed by the declining reliability.

Best sushi ever!! And above all the best staff!! I was recently in the restaurant with work colleagues, the ambience is a dream, as is the best quality sushi ever! The presentation of the food is above and beyond! Everything is topped by the incredibly nice and courteous staff and management. After I was so convinced, I ordered online today for home delivery. Everything went wonderfully from ordering to payment to delivery. The food has exactly the same outstanding quality and taste as if you eat in a restaurant. Anyone who loves sushi and Asian cuisine should definitely try it there, especially since it is not run-of-the-mill sushi or Asian cuisine but really selected, put together and prepared with love. Many people can learn a lesson from this! Always my pleasure!

Small but nice sushi restaurant. After having regular deliveries, we ate in the restaurant at lunchtime. Very nice atmosphere, super nice service and of course, as usual, very good food.

The service is top and so is the food. At lunchtime there is a 20% discount, which is really great given the already low prices. Ordered vegetarian gyoza once, but only half was vegetarian, the other half actually had meat. Curry was okay, but there was a lack of salt.

I drove by tired and late from work and wanted to ask if the kitchen was still open and even though it was actually closed, a warm meal was still prepared for me with even some advice and a little extra. The food is absolutely great. Absolutely lovely and caring staff and great atmosphere. I feel totally comfortable there and really enjoy it there.

We used the delivery service so I can't actually rate the atmosphere. The food was delivered on time, it was packaged properly and nothing leaked. Unfortunately it was a bit cold, but that was probably due to the outside temperatures. The noodles tasted very tasty, well seasoned and plentiful. The sushi was delicious. We'll be happy to order again, thank you

It was really tasty, we ordered sushi in the holiday apartment in the evening and at lunchtime we went to the local restaurant, delicious!!!

Great restaurant! Great selection of sushi, soups, pasta and rice dishes! The eye eats is definitely true here...the sushi platters were beautifully prepared and tasted fantastic. The starters (edamame, kimchi, chili coconut soup) are also highly recommended. Reservation is recommended as there are not too many places. We'll be back :)

Exceptionally good Asian cuisine! My wife and I were there for lunch on Sunday, November 10, 2024 and were absolutely thrilled. We enjoyed excellent sushi, delicious gyoza, crispy spring rolls and an aromatic Tom Yam Gung soup. As drinks we chose a refreshing lychee drink and Vietnamese green tea - both wonderfully suitable. Every dish was a hit. In the end we asked ourselves the question: As Michelin testers, would we have given this three stars? Our honest conclusion: Yes, absolutely! Fresh, high-quality ingredients and perfectly coordinated preparation made this visit unforgettable. For us it is the best Asian restaurant in Dresden - even if we haven't tried them all yet. We will definitely be coming back regularly!

You're really great, there's no other way to get in. Sushi – service – ambience, all in all a smooth 5/5. You can tell that you are passionate about what you do and have a lot of creativity. The sushi was extremely tasty and the platter was beautifully presented; In short, it pleased the eyes and the palate. :) For what you get, the price and performance are really top. We'll definitely be back.

We ordered the Chef Set and the Toshi Set - the price is a little higher, but definitely worth every cent! The best sushi we've ever had. Rounded off by an inviting ambience and a harmonious playlist with The Weeknd, Sam Smith, Doja Cat and SZA. We'll definitely be back!

Top sushi shop. It tastes super delicious and is also of very good quality! The sushi plates are beautifully prepared, a feast for the eyes every time! Super friendly staff and a really cool boss. Always up for some fun. The atmosphere is very nice and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to eat sushi! However, you should definitely reserve seats as they are very busy and not too big (small but nice and cozy) See you next time!

I had something delivered to me by Toshi. Firstly, mango curry with chicken, summer rolls and wakame. Of these three dishes, the wakame was the most tolerable, although it also had a very bland aftertaste. The mango curry was without any trace of chicken and the summer rolls tasted similar to wilted lettuce and wrapped in newspaper. I can't recommend this shop, I get the feeling "it doesn't matter how it tastes, as long as the customer pays" Never order from there again.

I ate and ordered several times there. Everything always tasted great and was delivered quickly. Even with a call shortly beforehand, the supplier will be there sooner than stated. As always, everything in the store was beautifully presented and the waiter was super friendly. Are always up for fun.

The taste was actually good to very good BUT: late delivery & one of the dishes was not delivered. No refund of the price for the missing dish because it is difficult to reach by phone and the email address does not seem to be available. Too bad.

The best Asian cuisine I have ever eaten in Dresden. I can only recommend the Pho soup alone. Tastes like my Vietnamese restaurant. As always, I will only order Asian cuisine there.

Ordered for 6 p.m. - delivered promptly and friendly. The request for no soup and gyoza instead was fulfilled. Thanks! The sushi menu for 2 is sufficient and tasty. The salmon and tuna were cooked, probably from the warm tempura. Both should not be in the same container. Surimi instead of crab meat, without it being excellent for the tempura. It's also a shame that the tempura and the inside-out had the same filling as the main components. Variety would be more exciting. Still, it was a great sushi meal!

A charmingly furnished restaurant. Food was solid, but nothing special. There was a lack of pizzazz and possibly spiciness. But who is special is the service staff. The gentleman is the best service I have experienced in a long time. Courteous, attentive, super polite.
