Topkapi in Recklinghausen

Were there today. There was a piece of meat in my daughter's vegetarian dish, and there were dried leftovers in the bread basket, which spoiled my appetite and as a result I had to return almost all of my food. A slice of lemon that came with the meal looked already squeezed. Because of my complaint, I was told that it would be passed on and that it would cost 20 euros. I paid dutifully and was annoyed by this choice of restaurant.

The buffet was really extremely meager for breakfast. Just one kind of sausage and one cheese. You might also have been happy with scrambled eggs like you know from the breakfast buffet. Otherwise everything was very chic and beautiful. The opening times on the website should perhaps be adjusted. If you are there at 8 as it says on the internet you feel very lost when everything is still dark. The prices are probably no longer correct either, since we paid €25 for two adults and it actually says €12 per person Wouldn't come for breakfast again. However, the lunch menu is top and absolutely recommended.

grill plate, Personally I didn't think it was a blast, I was a bit disappointed that for €18 they also included chicken wings Sad, almost only kebab meat, For me, a grill plate includes 1 piece of each meat, even if it would cost a few euros more, but then it's reasonable

Had dinner there a few days ago. I have to say it was great. We were there with children and a baby. Tables were pushed together. Everything was super friendly and uncomplicated. After sitting down, drinks were taken straight away. After ordering drinks and food, the drinks came quickly and shortly afterwards the food! Adana and Tavuk skewers were amazing! Super tender and well seasoned! Rice and fries are also great (but you can hardly go wrong with that). Service super friendly and accommodating. Everything as you imagine it! I was happy to be there and would also be happy to leave a tip there!

We were here for breakfast this morning. The selection of delicious specialties was very good, the dishes were freshly prepared and very appetizingly presented. I'm actually not a big fan of scrambled eggs but I even made up for it here. The creams, salads and sweet offerings were also completely to my taste. We were served and advised politely and courteously and we also enjoyed eating the baklava that was brought to the table. The Topkapi offers a great breakfast at an extremely good price-performance ratio. We'll definitely come back there again 👍

We ate at Topkapi in Recklinghausen yesterday and it was a complete disaster. My sister had ordered pide with minced meat. I also tried it. The meat was bad and tasted like vinegar. After we complained, they offered us pide with cheese. They simply topped the pide that we gave back with cheese. We also returned this because we noticed it. The waiter then politely served us fries with salad as an apology as an apology and a new pide with cheese. Even though it was crowded yesterday I don't really recommend this restaurant. But everyone has to decide for themselves.

Perfect! The food is always fresh and tasty and the staff is friendly and helpful. You can eat there with children.

Great place, super service and sooooo huge delicious portions

We ate there for the Ramadan menu. Even though we made a reservation for 5 people, we got a small table for 4 and were squeezed. Soup and salad, meze etc. tasted good. But unfortunately the main courses, in our case iskender and skewers, were bad. The kebab meat was burnt and the skewer meat was very hard, apparently not marinated. Service was poor and slow. Unfortunately we had to discuss everything, whether we could get drinks, whether our table could be cleaned etc. We were also looked at the whole time, probably whether we were going to pay. Was very unpleasant.

Caution: food poisoning We were there on Thursday for Iftar. The chop on my grill plate was still bloody, the two pieces of veal were very tough and the Adana was quite strongly seasoned. One of the chicken wings wasn't done yet either. For a grill plate for €20, the composition was poor. I had to vomit at night and was diagnosed with food poisoning. Since I hadn't eaten any food before because of the fast and only fruit after iftar, it's very likely that I caught it here. The restaurant should pay more attention to hygiene and prepare the meat much better.

Not recommended, the snooty Discopumper employee served us very disrespectfully and unprofessionally. If you want to be treated like animals just because you ordered a normal kebab then you've come to the right place. Juice shop.

I am full of praise for the party service for my big celebration with 65 friends. Perfect, timely service. Excellent food. My guests and I were happy!!!!!

You can be very satisfied with the service here. However, points are deducted for the food. I had a kebab plate that unfortunately had very dry veal and just way too much. And it should be said that, to my knowledge, I have never “complained” about a portion being too large. My companions were also not satisfied with the food. On the other hand, the fresh and super tasty Ayran is worth highlighting.

Shameless dames at the checkout!! I ordered it myself, picked it up myself and she complains in Turkish that I didn't give a tip... so never again, there are DÖNER everywhere. Outrageous is a nice way to put it!!!!

Eine schöne kleine Restaurant. Das Essen war lecker und die Bedienung war freundlich. Ruhige Atmosphäre. Einzige was ich bemängeln kann ist, daß das Dürüm-Brot etwas besser sein könnte. Kann ich durchaus weiterempfehlen.

Super Essen und toller Service. Der Koch gibt sich allerhöchste Mühe, dass sich die Gäste wohlfühlen. Absolut zu erzählen.

Sehr freundlich und sauber. Restaurant gut möbliert was auffällt. Essen gut.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort, da wir uns fleischlos ernähren, waren wir skeptisch. Doch es war unbegründet, wir haben das Mittagsmenue gewählt. Super Preis und auch für uns ausreichend Auswahl. Freundliches Personal, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr toller laden wurden sehr gut empfangen , die Auswahl des Essens passt alles was man für ein gutes Frühstück braucht weiter so Männers ihr macht alles richtig 👍🏻

Das ist der beste Laden. Ich gehe fast zwei mal in der Woche dort essen und es immer frisch und lecker. Das Personal ist auch super freundlich und lässt es einem an nichts fehlen.

Leider nicht so gut 😕 Wir waren mit 6 Personen dort. Der Döner war mit sehr wenig Soße und wenig Geschmack.... Satt wurde man auch nicht wirklich.. Der Falafel Döner sehr trocken.... Die Pommes waren okay.

Super Dönerladen. Es gibt eine sehr nette aufmerksame Bedienung und das Essen schmeckt klasse. Preise sind auch okay.

Insbesondere sei der hausgemachte Ayran zu erwähnen.

Ich gehe sehr gerne hier hin. Das Essen ist immer super und das Personal ist sehr freundlich als auch kompetent. Man kann hier auch mit Karte zahlen und das ist der erste Döner, wo das Schnitzel nicht labrig und matschig ist, sondern schön knackig trotz Soße und extrem lecker schmeckt, genauso wie ein Dönerteller!😋❤️❤️❤️ Die Atmosphäre ist anders aber sehr angenehm und man fühlt sich sehr schnell hier wohl. Dazu ist es ganz schön eingerichtet und man kann auch draußen essen👍 Ich wüsste nicht was hier auszusetzen ist. Einfach Top der Topkapi!✌️

Essen ist voll und ganz in Ordnung.Aber 1 Stern habe ich abgezogen.Weil die Preise mot der Verhältnismäßigkeit nicht stimmen.

Ich bewerte hier nur den Frühstück Es gab ein kleines Buffet mit Suppe und Tee und Saft Flat, was im vergleich zu anderen vielleicht etwas mager ausfällt, an Auswahl, dennoch in Ordnung ist. Die Linsensuppe war definitiv der Highlight, wo die Kinder dreimal nachgefüllt haben. Es wurde dann für die Kinder nur ein Teilbetrag berechnet, was ich sehr nett empfunden habe. Sowas kennt man bei uns im Norden fast nicht mehr!
