The food is delicious and the location very attractive, but unfortunately, the staff is not very competent. I was served the wrong side dish with my main course. Instead of correcting it, they simply offered to bring me the correct side dish. In the end, however, I was presented with the incorrect bill, which I had to pay additionally, despite the waiter's clear error and his unfriendly response. In my opinion, this is unacceptable.

Four of us, plus a small baby, were there for an early dinner. We were given hot water for the baby food. Thanks to the highchair, we were able to feed our baby in a relaxed manner before our meal was served. The food is super delicious and beautifully presented. We wanted to try every dish on the menu, but unfortunately, we had to choose :) The garden is great for sitting. You can sit in the shade under the trees or on the terrace, even in high temperatures. We'd love to come back.

We were a group of 11 people. I was a bit disappointed with the chicken terian bowl. It was too much rice, and the "grilled vegetables" weren't really grilled, but drenched in oil. There's a large back area for groups. However, it's very sparsely decorated and poorly divided, so the noise level is almost unbearable for multiple groups. In nice weather, it's better to sit outside as a group. We were a bit unlucky that day. Otherwise, nothing to complain about. The other dishes all looked quite tasty. I'd describe the prices as slightly high, but the portion sizes were okay overall.

The food was tasty but not exceptionally good. The staff was friendly, but they were busy that day, so they didn't pay much attention to individual tables. We'll visit Tomasa again when the weather is nice and try to sit in the courtyard.

I've had dinner twice at Tomasa, once outdoors and once indoors. It's a large restaurant which can accommodate a large group of people or just couples. The menu has a wide variety of dishes, and the service is very good.

Absolutely top recommendation! There were 16 of us there, and they immediately found a solution so we could all sit at the same table. Even our numerous special requests for food were accommodated, and the service was attentive and incredibly communicative. It was a fantastic evening, especially because of the excellent food, which you could hardly wish for better. The excellent food was almost secondary.

Unfortunately, a huge disappointment... in a city like Potsdam, there are many places with a great atmosphere, so the rest has to be just right - and with the ambitious prices, you expect the whole package. The wide selection on the menu already gave me a hint of where it would end... The food was completely unseasoned (the tofu skewers with vegetables & the chanterelle tagliatelle without tagliatelle but with a mix of found pasta...) and a total lackluster disappointment. The two different types of pasta on one plate also left me puzzled...?! The veal in the pasta was unfortunately still quite hard, the chanterelles were full of water, and the sauce was as thin as the sauce itself - unfortunate when they also don't provide spoons for the pasta. The service was very friendly. However, being asked every few minutes by different employees whether you've ordered this or that while you're looking for the right table definitely leaves you feeling uneasy... It's also a shame that the first review about it has already been deleted by the company. So, two stars became one more...

Very crowded, very loud. The food was good but expensive. A juice costing €0.40-€9 is outrageous.

I've always been very pleased with Tomasa. Today, however, I was very disappointed and sad. My asparagus dish contained an incredible four asparagus spears. At €21, that's almost €5 per spear. Very sad. Then I had the Kaiserschmarren, which was usually very good. Today it was soaked with oil and fat and was therefore unfortunately inedible. The Kaiserschmarren was served after eight minutes. Faster than the coffee. There was no restaurant manager to announce this.

Great, varied food, cooked to perfection. Very friendly and prompt staff. Reservations required. Breakfast in the summer is absolutely wonderful in the small garden. A little oasis in the middle of the city.

It was an absolutely successful visit. The ambience was impressive, well-kept and romantic in the backyard. Our waiter was also very attentive and really nice service. The menu reads great and the food was delicious.

The house and ambience are really nice. You can sit outside in the garden and the location offers a lot of space, which makes it inviting to linger. Unfortunately, two waitresses were absent on our day and the remaining staff were obviously overwhelmed. It seemed as if there was no clear division and waiting times for orders and drinks/food were 30-45 minutes - unfortunately a no go. Many tables already had empty drinks (and couldn't order new ones) or generally had to be cleared away and yet every employee went back to the kitchen empty-handed. The food was okay, but overall there could have been a little more love.

The ambience is beautiful, a very nice garden to linger in, unfortunately you have to linger because you have to wait an hour for the menu, drinks and food. Some guests left because they weren't served at all, plates weren't cleared away, and you had to beg for an hour for the bill. Sorry, but I know something different from Tomasa Zehlendorf. The waitress apparently doesn't care about the guests. Shame about the tip. But the ambience is really very nice.

Food was quite nice, but the service was pretty bad

The menu is not large, but you can be sure that every meal is as fresh, crispy, juicy and delicious as you could wish for. The vegan dishes are also very convincing. My tip: ask for freshly squeezed orange juice! Reservations are recommended, or feel free to come outside of peak times, for example around 2-3 p.m. It's a very large room inside, so it gets quite loud when the restaurant is full.

We weren't happy with the food at all. Most of it was fried in the deep fryer. The sweet potato fries were too greasy and not seasoned at all. Too bad. Because the ambience is really very nice. Service was great. Of course everyone has to know this for themselves. It would just be good if the kitchen were reoriented.

High expectations that were unfortunately not met. We visited Tomasa for the first time with high expectations. The ambience is really lovely. Very tastefully decorated. Now for the food, which unfortunately did not live up to expectations. My wife's dish was unfortunately not what she ordered and it was also over-seasoned. My fig ravioli with goat's cheese was unfortunately too sweet. Almost sweeter than the Kaiserschmarren we had for dessert. That was quite okay. All in all, unfortunately, not what we imagined. We'll see if we give the restaurant another chance.

This establishment turns out to be a solid address even for the discerning gourmet. The cuisine is particularly characterized by the excellent preparation of salmon, whose depth of flavor and perfect texture make it a clear recommendation. Unfortunately, the dining experience is affected by the acoustic conditions of the dining area, as due to structural conditions it has a certain level of noise, which is particularly noticeable at peak times. The entrance area is also overshadowed by an unpleasant smell of cigarette smoke from the adjacent bar - a defect that cannot be blamed on the restaurant. In terms of price, the restaurant is in the upscale segment, which can be tolerated due to the quality of the food and the excellent service. The staff proves to be extremely courteous, friendly and extremely quick to serve. Overall, the restaurant is a recommendation for connoisseurs, although structural conditions and the immediate surroundings cloud the overall impression to a small extent.

We had a fantastic breakfast at Tomasa in Potsdam! The Eggs Benedict bagels were outstanding and we really enjoyed the entire selection. Particularly noteworthy is the exceptionally friendly service - we felt completely at home. Clear recommendation!

The restaurant was very crowded, and the seating was quite close together. Having your elbows against your body while eating, disturbing the person sitting next to you, is very uncomfortable. It was also very loud. The service was very nice and friendly. From brunch to breakfast, main courses, and desserts, everything was delicious and reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back.

The food was great, the salad was super tasty and fresh. The service was very friendly and quick. The atmosphere is very tasteful. It was very busy and therefore the noise level was very loud.

Great food, very friendly staff, in a beautiful villa, unfortunately now one but: the women's toilet was underground, one broken and the other dirty. We were here several times for breakfast. It's 5/5. lured by this, we came here in the evening. The restaurant was almost empty. The variety on offer is manageable at best. What was particularly noticeable, however, were the high prices for small portions. Despite elaborate descriptions, the dishes were rather ordinary. We're checking out the store for the evening. It was particularly unfortunate that we wanted to “fix” a guest. We'll have a hard time convincing him to come for breakfast in the future.

Great varied food with attention to detail. I've been there several times now. Whether for late-night Sunday brunch, a nice dinner with friends or a company party with colleagues. So far I have never been disappointed. The service is always helpful, friendly and attentive. The food is served quickly even when it is full. Drink selection good. The atmosphere fits in the old villa. Being able to eat in the garden in the middle of Pot is simply wonderful. Thank you for such a beautiful place with charm, taste and still down to earth. The Tomasa is a nice restaurant in a good location and with a great garden (especially for children). The menu is extensive and the food is okay. But unfortunately we had an experience that made us not go back to Tomasa. We were there in the evening with 4 small children and after ordering food it still took 1.5 hours for the food to arrive (despite repeated requests and admission that something had gone wrong in the kitchen). When we finally received our food, the kids were completely tired and we couldn't eat all of our food. Unfortunately, the staff reacted very rudely and unprofessionally and we didn't feel taken seriously or welcome at all. Too bad.

On Saturday, February 15th, 2025, we had dinner with friends and our dog at TOMASA Potsdam - and we were positively surprised in every respect! As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were impressed by the stylish and cozy atmosphere. The atmosphere was pleasantly relaxed and we immediately felt at home. The friendly and attentive staff gave us a warm welcome and provided first-class service throughout the evening. The food was just great! The menu offers a great selection and the dishes we ordered were of excellent quality, perfectly balanced in taste and beautifully presented. You can tell that the cooking here takes place with great attention to detail. We would particularly like to emphasize the freshness of the ingredients – a real culinary experience! Special praise goes to the restaurant's dog-friendliness: without us having to ask, we were immediately brought a water bowl for our four-legged friend. This shows that not only guests but also their dogs are welcome here - a real plus that is not a given these days! We had a wonderful evening and have fond memories of TOMASA Potsdam. It certainly wasn't our last visit - maybe we'll see each other again in the summer on the beautiful terrace. Thank you for your hospitality and see you soon! 😊🐾

Overall, our visit to Tomasa in Potsdam was a pleasant experience that had both positive aspects and some small areas for improvement. Right from the start we were greeted by the very nice and attentive staff who gave us a friendly welcome and looked after us well throughout the morning. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and welcoming, which made the stay comfortable. However, there was a small downer at the beginning: our first seat was quite drafty and a bit cold, which wasn't ideal. However, the staff responded quickly and easily to our request to move us and so we were able to move to a warmer and more comfortable place without any problems. This demonstrated the team's flexibility and service orientation, which we really appreciated. A small disadvantage is that the restaurant does not offer its own parking spaces. This can be a bit inconvenient, especially on a busy evening or in bad weather. So it's worth looking for parking options in the area early on. Overall, the food was tasty and well prepared, although we felt that the quality could be a little better in some places. For example, the avocado cream that was served with our dish didn't seem to be homemade, which left us a little disappointed. Nevertheless, most of the dishes tasted convincing and provided a satisfying eating experience. In summary, Tomasa is a nice restaurant with friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. Minor weaknesses such as the draft at the first seat and the lack of parking spaces only marred the visit minimally. Even if the quality of the food could still be improved in some places, overall it was a successful evening that we would like to repeat.

Unfortunately not recommended, overpriced, it felt like the leftovers were served here. With a breakfast of just under 20 euros you expect more than 1 slice of salami and 1 slice of cheese and 2 rolls.

Phew, one thing or another wasn't right here. My steak was quite tough and relatively unseasoned. Four slices of bruschetta come with enough tomatoes in a small jar for two thin slices of bread. The waitress then shot the bird down, who, when asked about the bruschetta, replied bluntly that that was just the way it was. The boss had to come first to deal with it more professionally. Too bad. The Tomasa in the Villa Kreuzberg in Berlin is on a slightly different level.

Tik Tok Kitchen. Small map but everything mixed up. Food looked fancy but it's not just what the eye eats. Steak was dry. Sauce was practically soybean water. Cocktail was completely wrong and the blame was placed on me?? Service was also unfriendly. Said we should wait because so many were coming. Even though we had reserved well in advance. The volume in the room was almost unbearable. You couldn't even hear your own thoughts. The table was much too small. There were 12 of us and the table would have been too small for 10. At that time it felt like 30 degrees in the room but that was just my feeling. A

On the occasion of a small Christmas brunch with my colleague, we chose Tomasa on Kurfürstenstraße. Because we were there at 9 a.m., it was naturally and fortunately almost empty. Thanks to the very nice ambience, delightful service and delicious food on the plate, we had a wonderful and relaxed morning break :)

On December 23rd, my wife and I wanted to enjoy the hidden but wonderful ambience of the restaurant. The service was extremely friendly and tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Unfortunately, the mood changed when a person who apparently ran the restaurant stood out for his dominant and negative demeanor. She distracted the waitress and reprimanded her in front of all the guests because it was supposedly about to be “overcrowded”. This behavior in the dining room created an oppressive and unpleasant atmosphere. We really appreciate the excellent food and the cozy atmosphere, but when the guest room is converted into an office, loud phone calls are made, bookings are questioned and reservations are stressed, while the team is bossed around, a negative and unprofessional image of the restaurant management is created. Especially during the Christmas season, which is associated with particular anticipation for many, a visit to the restaurant should contribute to the festive atmosphere and not give you the feeling that you are sitting in the management's office. I understand that the Christmas season is associated with stress and challenges, especially in the catering industry. But this requires good and professional planning - not such an appearance.

Staff are without exception very nice, friendly and accommodating! The selection was made from the Christmas card: Excellent starter Dessert very good The main course could be better: the venison goulash had a lot of fat on it, I found there was very little spaetzle and the red cabbage covered a third of the plate, so more than too much. The acoustics aren't that great, the high room and the bare walls don't absorb the noise. In addition, the restaurant seems too crowded with tables and chairs and therefore too narrow, with little privacy. Repeat factor 4 out of 10

The ambience is very nice, the service is nice, but unfortunately there are long waiting times, even though it wasn't even half full this lunchtime. What we were really annoyed about today was the food. The mustard with spinach and mashed potatoes were delicious, even if the pü was a bit too salty. The beef roulade, on the other hand, didn't work at all. The roulade was tough, quite tasteless, definitely not fresh and not made with the best meat, together with the sauce it was just cafeteria level. And that's not an exaggeration. We were really looking forward to getting to know Tomasa in Potsdam, but we will definitely continue to eat at Tomasa in Grunewald, we have never been disappointed.

First impression: beautifully decorated for Christmas, second impression: very loud background noise. You should only eat Flamkuchen there, you can't go wrong. More upscale cuisine doesn't work. Conclusion: Duck breast was tough and the skin was mushy, red cabbage was too sour and only moderately warm. Venison goulash lukewarm and not great in taste, just boring. We were 6 people. The manager apologized and offered a “platter” of kaiserschmarrn on the house. A plate with a moderate portion was served. We do not recommend the restaurant...

We had ordered and were warmly welcomed when we arrived. We were there at 5 p.m. and therefore had the choice of which table we wanted. The service was very friendly, always on hand and quick. The food tasted great and corresponded to the price/performance level. The portion was also large (venison goulash). However, due to the pre-Christmas period, it quickly became full. This meant that I found it a bit cramped and much too warm. The volume also became higher and higher. Nevertheless, a great evening in a restaurant that can only be recommended.

Good day,, We went to an experience at Thomasa in Berlin and then also ate in Potsdam. We had pre-ordered a St. Martin's goose. This was presented to us in advance. I remember she was lying on her chest and her back was nice and brown. The waiter asked us if we wanted these and we said yes. Then the sliced ​​goose came first, then the side dishes and then our plates. By then the pieces had cooled down properly. However, it wasn't an actual misfortune, as the goose was lying on its breast, we couldn't see that it wasn't crispy. In general, the condition was not optimal, but not as delicate as one would imagine. The staff was friendly and the ambience is nice. We'll try breakfast next time.

Good food in tomasa quality. Unfortunately, the acoustics in the room are very strenuous and the rooms cannot be changed for monument protection reasons. The parking situation in Potsdam is tense. It is therefore advisable to allow a few minutes more to search for a parking space.

The restaurant is located in a beautiful old villa next to the Dutch Quarter at Nauener Tor. Beautifully decorated and cozy interior in two large rooms. Therefore rather lively. Service was very nice and friendly, but sometimes seemed a bit overwhelmed because of the many guests. Food was very good. There were six of us here and everyone was super happy. In summer you can also sit on the terrace/garden at the back. So in any case a recommendation. We'll be back.

To be honest, the restaurant is just mediocre. There is no clear culinary concept, there is something of everyone. I had the avocado mushroom bruscetta appetizer (weird combo) and the curry. It was ok, but tasteless. The prices are too high for that. The restaurant is nicely decorated, but very noisy, it was about 3/4 full. The service was friendly, but at some point they probably forgot about us. We weren't asked for more than an hour after eating if we wanted to drink or pay for something else. Too bad. I would have expected something more.

What was supposed to be a relaxed dinner unfortunately turned out to be a disaster over the course of the evening. First of all, the positive: The furnishings are tasteful and modern. The lighting could be a little more subtle, but that's a matter of taste. The latter is the keyword for what followed: The starter was a plate of nachos from the bag, which were gratinated with grated cheese from the bag. Unfortunately it wasn't long enough for there to be unbaked cheese crumbs between the nachos. We continued with the two main courses: the vegetarian tarte flambée was completely unseasoned. Luckily there was a salt and pepper shaker on the table. What the food lacked in salt was made up for by a piece of packaging waste in the middle of the tarte flambée. However, this dish was topped by the spaetzle with strips of rump steak. These were so inedibly spicy that we had to quickly look at the menu to see whether we had perhaps missed a spiciness notice, such as a symbol with 3 fire-breathing dragons. This was not the case. Halfway through the meal (as we all know, hunger drives you in) the surrender took place. The waiter we flagged down was informed of the grievances and offered dessert to make up for it. I like to be adventurous and brave sometimes, but eating another dish after three failures seemed like a kind of suicide mission, even to me. When we received the bill, we found out that the chef had apparently confused cayenne pepper with paprika and that the waiter, after he ate some of it himself, also found the food to be quite spicy. At this point we asked ourselves why the chef had not tasted the food beforehand and the waiter had to do it instead. It probably isn't all that surprising that we had to pay the bill in full. Of course, everyone can have a bad day, but then you should at least try to offer appropriate compensation. There will be no reunion with Tomasa for us.

I had reserved a table. And when we arrived, we were told to take one of the tables that were still available. I had imagined it differently. The food was good, the portion was just big enough. And I'm not used to large portions. The room is well furnished. But the light in the evening was unusually bright. Almost bright, I found it uncomfortable. My wish to dim it was not fulfilled because “the boss wants it that way”. I thought the guests should feel comfortable. It's a shame actually.

Of course, the later the evening, the louder it was, but the restaurant can't help it, so a full five stars in all categories and a sixth for the service.
