Overall, our visit to Tomasa in Potsdam was a pleasant experience that had both positive aspects and some small areas for improvement. Right from the start we were greeted by the very nice and attentive staff who gave us a friendly welcome and looked after us well throughout the morning. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and welcoming, which made the stay comfortable. However, there was a small downer at the beginning: our first seat was quite drafty and a bit cold, which wasn't ideal. However, the staff responded quickly and easily to our request to move us and so we were able to move to a warmer and more comfortable place without any problems. This demonstrated the team's flexibility and service orientation, which we really appreciated. A small disadvantage is that the restaurant does not offer its own parking spaces. This can be a bit inconvenient, especially on a busy evening or in bad weather. So it's worth looking for parking options in the area early on. Overall, the food was tasty and well prepared, although we felt that the quality could be a little better in some places. For example, the avocado cream that was served with our dish didn't seem to be homemade, which left us a little disappointed. Nevertheless, most of the dishes tasted convincing and provided a satisfying eating experience. In summary, Tomasa is a nice restaurant with friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. Minor weaknesses such as the draft at the first seat and the lack of parking spaces only marred the visit minimally. Even if the quality of the food could still be improved in some places, overall it was a successful evening that we would like to repeat.

Unfortunately not recommended, overpriced, it felt like the leftovers were served here. With a breakfast of just under 20 euros you expect more than 1 slice of salami and 1 slice of cheese and 2 rolls.

Phew, one thing or another wasn't right here. My steak was quite tough and relatively unseasoned. Four slices of bruschetta come with enough tomatoes in a small jar for two thin slices of bread. The waitress then shot the bird down, who, when asked about the bruschetta, replied bluntly that that was just the way it was. The boss had to come first to deal with it more professionally. Too bad. The Tomasa in the Villa Kreuzberg in Berlin is on a slightly different level.

We had breakfast here. The breakfast was very good, the service was great! One star deducted because it is very loud there, you can hardly have a conversation.

Tik Tok Kitchen. Small map but everything mixed up. Food looked fancy but it's not just what the eye eats. Steak was dry. Sauce was practically soybean water. Cocktail was completely wrong and the blame was placed on me?? Service was also unfriendly. Said we should wait because so many were coming. Even though we had reserved well in advance. The volume in the room was almost unbearable. You couldn't even hear your own thoughts. The table was much too small. There were 12 of us and the table would have been too small for 10. At that time it felt like 30 degrees in the room but that was just my feeling. A

On the occasion of a small Christmas brunch with my colleague, we chose Tomasa on Kurfürstenstraße. Because we were there at 9 a.m., it was naturally and fortunately almost empty. Thanks to the very nice ambience, delightful service and delicious food on the plate, we had a wonderful and relaxed morning break :)

On December 23rd, my wife and I wanted to enjoy the hidden but wonderful ambience of the restaurant. The service was extremely friendly and tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Unfortunately, the mood changed when a person who apparently ran the restaurant stood out for his dominant and negative demeanor. She distracted the waitress and reprimanded her in front of all the guests because it was supposedly about to be “overcrowded”. This behavior in the dining room created an oppressive and unpleasant atmosphere. We really appreciate the excellent food and the cozy atmosphere, but when the guest room is converted into an office, loud phone calls are made, bookings are questioned and reservations are stressed, while the team is bossed around, a negative and unprofessional image of the restaurant management is created. Especially during the Christmas season, which is associated with particular anticipation for many, a visit to the restaurant should contribute to the festive atmosphere and not give you the feeling that you are sitting in the management's office. I understand that the Christmas season is associated with stress and challenges, especially in the catering industry. But this requires good and professional planning - not such an appearance.

Staff are without exception very nice, friendly and accommodating! The selection was made from the Christmas card: Excellent starter Dessert very good The main course could be better: the venison goulash had a lot of fat on it, I found there was very little spaetzle and the red cabbage covered a third of the plate, so more than too much. The acoustics aren't that great, the high room and the bare walls don't absorb the noise. In addition, the restaurant seems too crowded with tables and chairs and therefore too narrow, with little privacy. Repeat factor 4 out of 10

We were there on December 20th. with 9 people for dinner (4 children). Good cuisine, excellent friendly service despite the very high number of guests. Very positively surprised, 6 stars for the friendly and patient staff. We'd love to come back! Clear recommendation.

The ambience is very nice, the service is nice, but unfortunately there are long waiting times, even though it wasn't even half full this lunchtime. What we were really annoyed about today was the food. The mustard with spinach and mashed potatoes were delicious, even if the pü was a bit too salty. The beef roulade, on the other hand, didn't work at all. The roulade was tough, quite tasteless, definitely not fresh and not made with the best meat, together with the sauce it was just cafeteria level. And that's not an exaggeration. We were really looking forward to getting to know Tomasa in Potsdam, but we will definitely continue to eat at Tomasa in Grunewald, we have never been disappointed.

It was so great with you at Tomasa Potsdam ~ we had two wonderful evenings last weekend! Our food was served very quickly, was incredibly tasty and beautifully prepared. First impression: beautifully decorated for Christmas, second impression: very loud background noise. You should only eat Flamkuchen there, you can't go wrong. More upscale cuisine doesn't work. Conclusion: Duck breast was tough and the skin was mushy, red cabbage was too sour and only moderately warm. Venison goulash lukewarm and not great in taste, just boring. We were 6 people. We had ordered and were warmly welcomed when we arrived. We were there at 5 p.m. and therefore had the choice of which table we wanted. The service was very friendly, always on hand and quick. The food tasted great and corresponded to the price/performance level. The portion was also large (venison goulash). However, due to the pre-Christmas period, it quickly became full. This meant that I found it a bit cramped and much too warm. The volume also became higher and higher. Nevertheless, a great evening in a restaurant that can only be recommended.

Good day,, We went to an experience at Thomasa in Berlin and then also ate in Potsdam. We had pre-ordered a St. Martin's goose. This was presented to us in advance. I remember she was lying on her chest and her back was nice and brown. The waiter asked us if we wanted these and we said yes. Then the sliced ​​goose came first, then the side dishes and then our plates. By then the pieces had cooled down properly. However, it wasn't an actual misfortune, as the goose was lying on its breast, we couldn't see that it wasn't crispy. In general, the condition was not optimal, but not as delicate as one would imagine. The staff was friendly and the ambience is nice. We'll try breakfast next time.

Good food in tomasa quality. Unfortunately, the acoustics in the room are very strenuous and the rooms cannot be changed for monument protection reasons. The parking situation in Potsdam is tense. It is therefore advisable to allow a few minutes more to search for a parking space.

The restaurant is located in a beautiful old villa next to the Dutch Quarter at Nauener Tor. Beautifully decorated and cozy interior in two large rooms. Therefore rather lively. Service was very nice and friendly, but sometimes seemed a bit overwhelmed because of the many guests. Food was very good. There were six of us here and everyone was super happy. In summer you can also sit on the terrace/garden at the back. So in any case a recommendation. We'll be back.

To be honest, the restaurant is just mediocre. There is no clear culinary concept, there is something of everyone. I had the avocado mushroom bruscetta appetizer (weird combo) and the curry. It was ok, but tasteless. The prices are too high for that. The restaurant is nicely decorated, but very noisy, it was about 3/4 full. The service was friendly, but at some point they probably forgot about us. We weren't asked for more than an hour after eating if we wanted to drink or pay for something else. Too bad. I would have expected something more.

What was supposed to be a relaxed dinner unfortunately turned out to be a disaster over the course of the evening. First of all, the positive: The furnishings are tasteful and modern. The lighting could be a little more subtle, but that's a matter of taste. The latter is the keyword for what followed: The starter was a plate of nachos from the bag, which were gratinated with grated cheese from the bag. Unfortunately it wasn't long enough for there to be unbaked cheese crumbs between the nachos. We continued with the two main courses: the vegetarian tarte flambée was completely unseasoned. Luckily there was a salt and pepper shaker on the table. What the food lacked in salt was made up for by a piece of packaging waste in the middle of the tarte flambée. However, this dish was topped by the spaetzle with strips of rump steak. These were so inedibly spicy that we had to quickly look at the menu to see whether we had perhaps missed a spiciness notice, such as a symbol with 3 fire-breathing dragons. This was not the case. Halfway through the meal (as we all know, hunger drives you in) the surrender took place. The waiter we flagged down was informed of the grievances and offered dessert to make up for it. I like to be adventurous and brave sometimes, but eating another dish after three failures seemed like a kind of suicide mission, even to me. When we received the bill, we found out that the chef had apparently confused cayenne pepper with paprika and that the waiter, after he ate some of it himself, also found the food to be quite spicy. At this point we asked ourselves why the chef had not tasted the food beforehand and the waiter had to do it instead. It probably isn't all that surprising that we had to pay the bill in full. Of course, everyone can have a bad day, but then you should at least try to offer appropriate compensation. There will be no reunion with Tomasa for us.

I had reserved a table. And when we arrived, we were told to take one of the tables that were still available. I had imagined it differently. The food was good, the portion was just big enough. And I'm not used to large portions. The room is well furnished. But the light in the evening was unusually bright. Almost bright, I found it uncomfortable. My wish to dim it was not fulfilled because “the boss wants it that way”. I thought the guests should feel comfortable. It's a shame actually.

I thought the plate was totally overpriced. Conclusion, breakfast at Tomasa Potsdam never again.

The ambience is really nice, but it is also very loud inside, especially when the restaurant is busy. We had a table inside and could hardly understand each other. This may also be due to the rather bare walls. The service was great and extremely committed, there was nothing to complain about. The service was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately the food wasn't tasty. Part of my order was missing and the rest was dry and carelessly prepared. I also had a piece of cartilage the size of a thumbnail on a chicken skewer with 4 pieces of chicken breast (approx. 2x2cm in size). The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities left a lot to be desired. It smelled like cat urine, the toilet was dirty with feces and the mirrors were so smeared that you couldn't look at yourself. We won't be coming back. Potsdam definitely has more to offer. Thanks to the waitress for the friendly service.

We've wanted to get a personal impression for a long time, yesterday we found time to have a late lunch. The creamy, less fruity consistency of the pumpkin soup was very convenient for us, as we found this to be very suitable for the slowly cooling temperatures. Accompanied by a bruschetta as a greeting from the kitchen, we were very pleased. Our main courses were also good and the scoop of chocolate ice cream was a nice finish. The ladies and gentlemen were very attentive and friendly in the process of ordering and serving. It would have been even nicer for us if our waiter had been happy to ask once in a while whether we liked the food. This could then also be combined with a request for more drinks. I would also like to encourage you to establish a more personal contact right from the start. Feel free to ask what you like and recommend dishes that go with it... that will surprise you and leave you with an even more positive memory. but only as a personal recommendation on the way to service excellence. It was a lovely afternoon and we would love to come back.

We were a group of 20 people, reservation for Saturday was no problem, the good menu offers something for every taste 👍 and the food was really good. The greatest praise goes to the service😍 our large, very thirsty group was saved from dying of thirst by very friendly waiters. Serving so many different dishes at the same time in a short time - be careful - not every restaurant can do that. Once again a big compliment and a thank you for a successful evening.

Too expensive for the amount. We made a reservation but no table was ready. They were only pushed together when we were there have come. A good restaurant with a very nice garden and friendly, helpful and considerate staff. It is difficult for people who come by car to find a parking space, but it is still worth a visit.

Unfortunately it's still a bit noisy in the afternoon due to the noisy children in the adjacent Helmholtz Gymnasium, but as I said, as soon as school is out it gets nicer and nicer in Tomasa. The food itself actually tastes pretty good, the quality is really undeniable, but the prices are quite impressive. For a "Tomasa lemonade" 4 euros 50 is a bit too much when you end up with sparkling water with syrup. Unfortunately that is not in proportion. Even though it may taste good, the portion sizes are unfortunately out of proportion. 19 euros for 5 small pieces of chicken, a curry sauce with peppers and a small mountain of rice is simply not enough. And the menu may look like a lot but the food itself is simply nothing special. By the way: If the store is full, there can easily be a wait of over an hour. But the waitress apologized and offered us a bottle of water on the house.

Unfortunately we were dissatisfied with the food. The burger and fries were tasteless even though we waited so long. Crepê wasn't freshly made, but like it came from the supermarket. Hard and tasted like rubber.

We came for breakfast on the weekend and had reserved a table. After a relatively long wait, our order was taken. To our surprise, nothing happened for a long time. Now, of course, you have to add that Tomasa is obviously a popular place on weekends. Which in turn doesn't explain why we had to wait an entire hour for the food to arrive and so far we haven't been served a single drink. The service seemed attentive, but visibly overwhelmed. The food and the ambience make up for some of the disappointment, but given the prices I expect a lot more despite the high crowds. The many wasps were also very annoying, but you can't blame the restaurant for that.

Unfortunately I can't award all the points for the food today. Ordered the same meal twice, once it came without the delicious sauce. When we complained to the unfriendly and really cheeky waiter, he said: That's how it is. I could still order more sauce. At first I thought he was joking, asked and he was serious! But the same meals were on the table twice. 1x with sauce and once dry. He would have eaten this meal 15,000 times and it would always be so dry. I answer: I've ordered it several times because the sauce is so delicious. Do you have to be so cheeky? I like to go there often and I hope that the blonde, short-haired waiter there won't be washing the customers' mouths for much longer!

'Wow what a shop' - that was exactly my thought as I walked through the inconspicuous entrance. Both inside and outside everything is coordinated with so much love and skill in terms of interior, colors, floristry and art, wow! The garden is a paradise, like a little vacation trip. Everything is so colorful and loving, from the dishes to the flowers on the table and the placemats. The service was present, super friendly without being intrusive. Finally the food: one last time Wow. I ordered the sweet potato gnocci with grilled beetroot and a piece of salmon. The combination of the individual flavors absolutely suited my taste. A really wonderful evening on my first visit to Tomasa. Thanks to the whole team. One thing is for sure, I'll be back ☀️

Today we had dinner in the beautiful Tomasa in Potsdam. The ambience of this restaurant is fantastic. It is the most beautiful Tomasa of all. Both the interior ambience and the outdoor area invite you to take a cozy break. The food was great, like in every other Tomasa. What we found great today was the service. A blonde young woman served us. She had a great charisma, was extremely attentive and served us with a smile and friendliness that we have rarely experienced. Thanks for that. It was a great experience and we would love to come back with such employees♥️

It was a really great evening. Not just the ambience, but also the food. Although the location is in the middle of Potsdam, you won't notice anything outside. Wonderfully blooming olianders frame the entire area. Our waiter Johann listened to our every wish, was super attentive and contributed a lot to our feeling of well-being.
