Lewy Wein-Bistro in Potsdam

We stumbled upon this restaurant today and were absolutely thrilled! The service, the quality of the food, and the friendliness were all fantastic. It definitely won't be the last time! 😍

On our way back from Sanssouci Palace, we walked out of the gardens and had a meal in the Dutch Quarter. As expected, the carbonara was excellent, and the unpretentious, cheerful Italian service was very charming and friendly, especially for us, who had experienced some rather unpleasant waiters in Germany. When we didn't have any coins, they gave us a free gift, and they treated us well, even as Asians (Japanese people), so it felt like a great restaurant.

Catchy and friendly waiters, always easy going , starting a small talk. One of the unique and pleasant experience. Their food is authentic and delicious, carbonara spaghetti as a nice example. Check out their wine menu to accompany your food.

A small café in Potsdam's old town. You can sit comfortably outside or inside when the weather is bad. Friendly, quick-witted service. Delicious food! I had the wild garlic dumplings with asparagus wedges, a foamy sauce, and herb crumbs. So delicious! Highly recommended! If I lived in Potsdam, this would be my regular!

My wife and I, having just arrived in Potsdam and checked into the Hotel MAXX, wanted a drink and a bite to eat. No sooner said than done, we stopped here because the outdoor location looked inviting. We were promptly greeted by a very friendly waiter and each ordered a pasta dish. The tortellini with truffles and my carbonara were excellent. The service was super attentive and friendly. The food was excellent, and the wine list was good. We'll definitely be back.

This small but exquisite restaurant impresses with every quality. The very courteous and attentive service, the freshly prepared dishes with a largely unprepared approach, the cozy atmosphere, and all this at reasonable prices are 100% convincing.

We, Hannelore and Günther Witzorky, regularly travel to Potsdam from Brandenburg. Our first stop is always DORTU17 for lunch. We always feel truly at home in this small restaurant with its unique flair. The food is excellent. We particularly enjoy the fresh pasta and accompanying wine. What a wonderful little shop! They have a great selection of wines, the price is perfect, and the staff is amazing ❤️ I stumbled into this shop by chance and stayed for several hours. When the weather is nice, it's so nice to sit outside and watch the hustle and bustle on the streets. The menu promises a lot: varied, Mediterranean with regional ingredients. A wonderful place, I have rarely felt so comfortable in a restaurant straight away. Service, food and atmosphere were just right. If I lived in Potsdam this would definitely be my favorite restaurant.

Everything just fits. The service is extremely customer-oriented and hospitable. You almost feel like you are at home. After ordering spaghetti carbonara, the friendly man told me that it was a really good choice and described the dish with the expression "Epic!" What can you say, the good gentleman was by no means exaggerating. These were by far the best noodles I've eaten in a long time. The menu is manageable, but that shows quality, as all dishes are freshly prepared in the kitchen and therefore only limited variability is possible. The other visitors with me also highly praised the Qiche and the Vegetarian Maultaschen. All in all, a highly recommended place to relax and enjoy! Gladly again and again.

My favorite place to meet up with good people!

Popped in to Dortu17 after an hour or so mooching around one of the Potsdam Christmas markets. Initially, we were just going in for drinks, but the menu captivated us. The server apologised for only having the menu in German, but he helped us out by describing each dish for us. I can thoroughly recommend the Spaghetti Carbonara, cooked with a South German twist, while my wife fell in love with the 'Wildgoulash', a mix of venison and wild boar in a rich sauce. The whole experience was wonderful and we will go out of our way to visit there again.

The place is super cozy, my spaghetti carbonara Süd Tirol Style was splendid, and the service was basically the best I've seen in Germany ever since I came to live here 9 years ago. I highly recommend this place.

We found this small but nice restaurant while walking. Very nice and friendly service. Great atmosphere. We brightened our day with a good wine, olives with bread as a starter and the main course, fantastic tasting spaghetti. We can happily recommend it.

Delicious food, quality ingredients, and the service was EXCEPTIONAL. We tried different dishes. Homemade pasta with ricotta & truffle filling was my most favorite. Staff were attentive, kind, and very friendly. Overall, this place is by far one of the best on services & food in Germany. Stopped in for a quick lunch got the spaghetti carbonara with bacon & the variety of olives & 2 beers as well. The carbonara had a unique flavor & loaded with bacon & cheese. We sat outside & it was a great experience altogether.

Entspannter Ort für einen Aperol und Eiskaffee. Besonders letzter (ein 'Iced Cappucino' wenn ich mich recht erinnere) war lecker. Die Preise sind allerdings zwischenzeitlich auf ziemlich hohem Niveau. 8,50 für einen Aperol finde ich relativ viel.

Essen war gut, die Bedienung sehr bestimmt und nicht dem Niveau des recht guten Essens angepasst. Wir wurden um 22:00 rausgeschmissen, nachdem wir vorher bereits wenig subtil auf die Beendigung des Services hingewiesen wurden. Sehr schade.

It was a different experience of dining in Potsdam, with good local beer and plenty choices of wine. I tried salad appetizer though actually expecting more cheese as the title of the menu. For main course the duck was great. The portions were quite big. Looking forward visiting again...

Good address if you are looking for something between a restaurant and a bar. Cozy, small bistro with a focus on wine. Prices corresponding to Potsdam city center. Food and cake taste good. Unfortunately, the quiche was a bit lost in the salad. The service was once pleasant, other times a bit too brisk and unfortunately often outside, made you wait a bit and unfortunately smelled a lot of smoke. Therefore, in my opinion, the food is 4 stars, the ambience is 5 stars and the service is 3 stars.

Super nice service with humor in the right place. Very accommodating. We ate very well and sat outside, which is nice only with restrictions. Sometimes just too crowded and loud.

A very great restaurant!! I felt very comfortable on my first visit. The service is very nice and competent when it comes to recommending food and wine. The kitchen knows how to bring heart and soul to life in its dishes. The Lewy is set for me when I'm back in Potsdam at the Barberini or Sanssouci, to give a great end to a beautiful day.

I had a very good experience at this restaurant. Well located, in the city center, next to Brandenburgstrasse and close to the hotel where I stayed. The food was very delicious. I ordered a soup as a starter and a Südtirol-style spaghetti carbonara as a main course. The treatment and service were great, caring about you at every moment, and the type of customer there was very friendly and empathetic (based on a personal experience I had). Ich hoffe, das nächste mal , wenn ich nach Potsdam zurückkehre , wieder im Restaurant zu sein. Grüße aus Spanien!

I ended up there completely by accident - I was looking for a nice place where I could have dinner and bingo! That was it. A very nice, baroque tenement house. The selection of dishes on the menu will satisfy everyone. Good wines. Fast and nice service. And really good coffee! I recommend it :)

Like a Parisian bistro. Great. And the waiter, Oliver, on Tuesday evening was so thoughtful and quick. At the tables that were reserved from 7:30 p.m. you could safely drink a glass of wine beforehand, knowing that you would then have to vacate your place at the given time. Many other restaurants can follow an example! If I lived in Potsdam, it would be my favorite bar.

Landed here by chance, fortunately. There is very tasty wine here, including open wine, which is cheaper. And then there is only a small daily menu, which I think is great. Small but nice. My fish soup was terrific! Thanks to the Lewy team☺️

You have to love it! :) For me after 30 years of living in Potsdam: the friendliest and most attentive waiters in the whole city! Plus super delicious food and good drinks! You can sit wonderfully, watch the hustle and bustle of Brandenburger Straße and have a good time!

Cozy restaurant with a good selection of food and drinks. Even though we only had something to drink, we were served very friendly. The waiter (Oli) advises on both food and drinks and always has a nice saying ready for the guests. We can highly recommend the restaurant, regardless of whether you want to eat something or just have a drink.

A bicycle trip to Postdam along the Havel followed by lunch at Lewy's have been the high point of each of our Berlin holidays for the last 5 years. Their spaghetti carbonara are especially good, and so is their Blutsbruder white from Weingut Karl May.

We were passing through and so stopped for a bite to eat there. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented. The service is particularly noteworthy. He was very attentive, charming and had a pleasant sense of humor. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. If you don't pay in cash, you should definitely have some money in your wallet for tips. Unfortunately we didn't have any cash and therefore couldn't give a tip, which we found very unfortunate
