The very attentive owner prepares the food with passion. The miso soup is the best I've ever had. The sushi is diverse and flavorful compared to other sushi restaurants, especially the crab and unagi variations. The restaurant is very small and cozy; there's not much space, but it's all the more atmospheric. We've been here several times now and will continue to visit the Tokyo.

If you're looking for a special ambiance, a great atmosphere, or a place to sit outside in the summer, this is unfortunately not the place for you. The restaurant is located in the heart of Koblenz's city center on a busy street. However, if you want to eat very good sushi, this is the place for you! The dining room is small and more reminiscent of a fast food joint than a full-fledged restaurant. The view outside isn't particularly uplifting due to the street location. Nevertheless, you can sit comfortably at the small tables. The service is friendly and unobtrusive, which probably reflects the Asian mentality. The menu requires an experienced sushi eater, or you'll have to ask if you're not sure what the dish contains based on the name. You can put together a variety of sushi yourself or choose from a few pre-made sets. We tried the latter and weren't disappointed. The sushi is prepared live behind the small counter. You can practically watch your chosen dishes being prepared. This all happens quickly, yet calmly and without stress, which is very pleasant. The food is attractively served. There is plenty of soy sauce, as there is a bottle on each table. The wasabi could have been more, but that's certainly a matter of taste. I tend to go for more. The sushi tastes very good. In comparison, it's one of the best restaurants in Koblenz. The prices for sushi are rather moderate; there are other restaurants with more "in" factor in Koblenz that charge significantly more. In the end, this is a very good place, which certainly doesn't have the atmosphere for an extensive dinner evening, but the food, which is ultimately the most important thing, is convincing.

This small sushi restaurant is an absolute amazing. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and never rushed. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the quality of the sushi. Everything was incredibly fresh, and the diversity on the menu was amazing. There were plenty of options, from classic nigiri to unique specialty rolls, making it easy to try something new. One of the highlights was watching the owner behind the counter, personally rolling up each sushi roll with care and precision. You can tell there's real pride and passion in their craft, and it truly comes through in the taste. Every bite was delicious and beautifully presented. If you're looking for authentic, fresh sushi with a personal touch and great service, this place is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend!

Tiny little shop. I was there for the first time 10 years ago. For me, every sushi should be served with miso soup. Nowhere have I ever eaten something as good as here. Even after 10 years it's the best I've ever eaten. The sushi is fresh and to die for. Above all, crab meat here is real crab meat and not surimi. All in all the best sushi I have ever eaten. Others like the Mikado start well and become more expensive and of much poorer quality over the years and here in Tokyo the prices for this quality are unbeatable and the taste has still been amazing for 10 years.

By far the BEST sushi I have ever eaten. I've been living in Cologne for many years now, but whenever I come back to Koblenz, I get sushi here. My two favorites are the Spicy Sake Maki and the California Tekka Uramaki. No sushi in Cologne or Düsseldorf can keep up with this! The woman who makes the rolls fresh to order in front of you is super friendly and, after all these years, can still remember that we always used to eat at her place. I can really recommend this store to everyone.

Yesterday I felt like eating sushi and without further ado, following the reviews for sushi shops and since this place was practically on the way, I decided on Tokyo and ate there. Clean shop, nice welcome from the owner (she runs the shop as a “one-woman army”). Reception, taking orders, preparing food, serving... the nice woman does it all :) We ordered the Tokyo set twice with a few extra requests and it arrived, everything freshly prepared. Everything was very tasty. Definitely will visit the store again. Full recommendation!

Great sushi restaurant!!! Absolutely recommended - there is nothing better in Koblenz. There are only 5 tables there. Absolute mini store. But the sushi is world class. The taste is hard to beat. With four people we paid just €112 for an all-you-can-eat including drinks. Craziness!!!

Kleine aber fein Das Essen ist der Hammer 🤩 Wir kommen wieder weil es sehr klein und ruhig ist . Nicht mit anderen Restaurants zu vergleichen weil man einfach für sich ist . Preis Leistung stimmt . Familienunternehmen mit sehr viel Potential

Bedienung super freundlich, wurden herzlich empfangen und sofort bedient. Preise sind fair, das Essen wurde frisch vor unseren Augen zubereitet und war mehr als lecker! Sehr hochwertige Zutaten, das schmeckt man definitiv raus. Das einzige worüber man minimal meckern könnte, wären die wenigen Sitzplätze und im Sommer teilweise sehr drückende Luft im Restaurant. Wir haben jedoch einen Ventilator gestellt bekommen, damit ging es dann. Die Wartezeiten sind i.O. dafür dass die Dame alleine bedient, zubereitet, serviert und abkassiert.. wow! Wer sich von der äußeren Optik des Restaurants nicht abschrecken lässt wird innen ein Geschmacks Feuerwerk erleben und es nicht bereuen!

Das beste Sushi überhaupt. Wir sind schon seit 10 Jahren Stammgäste. Die Köchin ist super nett und lieb. Unsere Kinder dürfen sogar bei der Zubereitung ihres Sushis helfen. Die Speisen werden alle frisch zubereitet und man kann sogar zuschauen. Die Preise sind sehr angemessen. Also jeder der lecker essen möchte, muss dorthin gehen. Absoluter Geheimtipp. Mittlerweile seit fast 13 Jahren da. Und es ist immernoch das beste Sushi ever.

Definetely an underrated sushi place, doesn't seem like they've really getting customers since the inflation boom, but they're the cheapest sushi place in town, the quality at least a 9/10, great customer service and food. There's 2 or 3 pubs near-by so if you're hungry, low on money and still want good food, definitely pay a visit.

Tokyo Sushi ist ein kleiner Laden mitten in Koblenz. Die Inhaberin war sehr freundlich, die Zubereitung war schnell und das Essen sehr lecker. Außerdem sind die Preise sehr gut. Tagesgericht für 12.90 in üppiger Größe mit Miso Suppe.

Handgemachte Geheimtipp für preiswertes und sehr gutes sushi. Den grünen Tee hat mein Geschmack zwar nicht getroffen aber das sushi hat mich überzeugt. Für die Qualität und frische bekommt man kaum was vergleichbares. 🤌

Das beste Sushi in Koblenz. Ich bin schon seit vielen Jahren Stammkunde und meines Erachtens nach ist es das beste Sushi in Koblenz. Es wir immer frisch zubereitet, wenn viele Gäste da sind kann es etwas länger dauern aber das ist ja auch normal da die Köchin alleine ist. Die Preise sind absolut angemessen. Meine ganz klare Empfehlung und mein persönlicher Geheimtipp.

Unser Lieblingssushi-Laden. Wir gehen seit Jahren dahin und sind sehr zufrieden. Das Sushi ist sehr lecker und die Bedienung immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch das Bestellen läuft einwandfrei. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Der Laden ist gut gelegen, jedoch recht klein und von Außen eher unscheinbar. Das Sushi ist jedoch ausgenommen gut! Wir waren nun schon zum zweiten Mal dort und sind nach wie vor begeistert. Zur Auswahl stehen verschiedene Arten von Sushi, die auf einer Platte kombiniert werden können. Dazu gibt es Soja-Soße, Wasabi und Ingwer. Das Sushi wird nach der Bestellung frisch zubereitet!

Meiner Meinung nach das beste Sushi in Koblenz. Das Preis-Leistungsverhähltnis ist gut. Der Laden ist klein und gemütlich.

Auch wenn es eher klein und unscheinbar ist, gibt es für uns hier das beste Sushi von Koblenz und das sogar auch ohne Fisch, wenn gewünscht. Sowohl die Shiitake und Spargel Makis sind besonders lecker. In einem Sommer wie diesem ist aber auch die Miso-Suppe mit frischem Gemüse wärmstens zu empfehlen. Die Inhaberin zudem super freundlich.

Als Stammgast des fantastischen Tokyo in Mannheim musste ich auch das Koblenzer Tokyo ausprobieren. Der kleine Laden ist eher unscheinbar und schlicht, die Qualität des Fisches war aber erstklassig und steht dem Mannheimer Tokyo kaum nach. Auch hier in Koblenz gibt es erstklassiges Sushi! Und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Hier lohnt sich ein Besuch! Für mich das bisher zweitbeste Sushirestaurant, das ich in Deutschland kenne! Der Thunfisch ist herrlich zart, wie man ihn nur selten findet!

DAS Sushi-Restaurant in Koblenz! Eine gute Freundin, welche beruflich hauptsächlich in Japan und Düsseldorf (dem sprichwörtlichen "Little Tokyo") tätig ist, konstatierte nur hier eine Qualität, wie sie sie außerhalb der genannten Destinationen noch nicht vorgefunden hat.

Kleiner, sympathischer Laden mit tollem Sushi!

Wir sind eher zufällig drauf gestossen, Der Laden ist sehr klein (5 oder 6 Tische) und direkt an einer befahrenen Strasse. Als wir dort waren war die Tür auf und es deshalb recht laut. Nicht schlimm, weil wir einen 4-Jährigen dabei hatten und der Gute meist eher laut ist!;-) Allerdings waren wir als wir kamen die ersten Gäste. Wir wurden freundlich begrüsst und sehr schnell bedient. Das Sushi war grossartig. Auch nicht allzu teuer! Wir waren sehr zufrieden und empfehlen dieses Lokal wärmstens weiter!
