Tokymon - Sushi & Asian Cuisine in Bad Nauheim

I've been to many sushi restaurants, but this one really stands out! The quality of the fish is outstanding – super fresh and delicious. The selection is also impressive: from classic nigiri to creative specialty rolls, they have everything. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and quick. The ambiance is modern yet cozy – you immediately feel at home. The value for money is also absolutely perfect. I'll definitely be back – for me, it's the best sushi place in the area!

Highly recommended. The curries are generous portions and deliciously seasoned. The sushi is excellent quality and incredibly tasty. I'd be happy to go again.

Delicious food with friendly service

We were very impressed with the food and the selection there. We had reserved a table for Saturday evening, which turned out to be a good idea. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service is excellent. However, the prices aren't exactly cheap.

ENCORE REVIEW: WEDNESDAY MAY 14, 2025 EXACTLY THE SAME SAVOURY CRUNCHY TASTE AS WHEN MY WIFE CHRISTINE AND I DINED @ TOKYMON IN FEBRUARY, THE GYOZAS AND SPRING ROLLS WERE SCRUMPTIOUSLY OUT OF THIS WORLD. THE PHO BO BROTH WAS EVEN BETTER THIS TIME ~ IF THAT COULD BE POSSIBLE. IT WAS SO DELICIOUS, THAT I WAS READY TO ORDER ANOTHER BOWL OF PHO BO, UNTIL THE TENDER SLICES OF FILET MIGNON AND AL DENTE NOODLES FINALLY KICKED IN. AND THEN I WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED LIKE A BEAR EATING SALMON. IT WAS THE 1ST TIME EVER THAT I LAPPED-UP THE ENTIRE BROTH, AND THERE WAS NO NEED FOR A DISHWASHER. THE GORGEOUS OUTDOOR SPRING AMBIANCE COMPLEMENTED THE AFFABLE AND ATTENTIVE CARE OF THE SERVERS. BOTTOM LINE______________THE CHEF IS AN EPICUREAN ARTIST! AGAIN, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TOKYMON TO ALL CITIZENS LIVING WITHIN 100 KILOMETERS OF FRANKFURT.

Food and service is great. I eat here often. There is always a lot going on here and you have to be patient when ordering. The decor is nice but everything is cramped.

The service was friendly and the sushi was fresh and tasty. The Pho was made with tough beef. There were still Christmas decorations hanging on the outside. We sat at a very dirty window with a "Happy Birthday" sign hanging on it. The tables were very close together, so in order to sit down you had to push the chairs of the other table towards them. If both tables had been used it would have been very uncomfortable for the guests. Our visit was shortly after the Easter holidays.

I've been looking for a decent Asian restaurant for a long time. There's no such thing as Chinese where everything is baked in the same fat. I was thrilled from the appetizer to the dessert. Food is very tasty and good value for money. The waiter was there quickly to take the order and bring drinks. Unfortunately it took some time until the food was on the table. Everything looks very attractive and tastes very tasty. The interior is well-kept and has a nice design, a good place for meeting friends and acquaintances.

Hi, Yesterday I had dinner here with someone. The ambience and the decoration are really successful. We were taken straight to a table that was worn out again. Drink orders were also taken directly. The starters came quite quickly and were really tasty. The main course was also very tasty, but the chicken was a bit too dry. The vegetables, sauce and salad were very good. The staff was very friendly and personable. We would be happy to come back.

It feels more like an Asian fusion restaurant than authentic Vietnamese food. There are always a lot of customers, so reservations are essential during busy times. The food came out quickly, tasted good, and the portion size was reasonable. However, when paying, the female employee said that only cash was accepted, even though she brought a credit card counter. I still don't know why.

Lovers of Vietnamese cuisine, yesterday we enjoyed the very best in all of Germany! Hoang Phuoc, Tran and his beautiful colleague, blessed us with a window table in their elegantly comfortable dining room. Starting our lunch adventure with crispy gyozas and spring rolls, we had to order some more, because their crunch and homemade flavors were out of this world. Christine's delicately battered shrimp tempura was accompanied by a sumptuous salad, featuring an ethereal dressing that was an epicurean delight. My Pho Bo was the very, very best that I have enjoyed since the 1970's, when our Vietnamese brothers and sisters joined us in San Francisco. The soup's broth was rich and delectable, the consommé cradle for extremely tender beef and al dente noodles. Even though Christine and I reside in 45 minutes away Frankfurt, we look forward to enjoying Hoang Phuoc's culinary delights for many years to come. We highly recommend Tokymon that lives up to their slogan: "Where the art of sushi meets the heart of Vietnamese cuisine ~ a symphony of flavors waiting to be discovered.“

We reserved 1 week in advance. When we arrived the atmosphere looked very nice and cozy but it was extremely crowded. We waited a long time for staff only to be told that unfortunately there was no space. I pointed out that we had reserved but they ignored it and turned directly to new guests. Very unfortunate!

This was our second time eating here and it was delicious again! It's a shame we don't live nearby because then we would go to Tokymon regularly! There is a large selection of vegetarian dishes with lots of crunchy vegetables. The summer rolls with avocado and the edamame were also delicious! The service is friendly.

A highly recommended highlight in Bad Nauheim's gastronomic scene. Very friendly service, short waiting times, very good quality and absolutely fair prices. The online table reservation worked completely without any problems. The crispy duck on the curry tasted so great that we ordered an extra portion of it,🤣

We had a very good meal here. We shared the tapas platter with 4 people (2 adults and a child) and was sufficient as a starter. The main courses were also very good and a decent sized portion. Also very nice to look at.

Good restaurant. Enjoy your meal. No question. Unfortunately, going there spontaneously is almost impossible as it's always packed. Getting a place there on Saturdays is out of the question! (I've already tried it twice without success) ... unless reserved three to four days in advance. Then it could work. I'm happy for the operators when the restaurant is doing well. But if you have to beg for a table, I don't think that's great as a guest. And then in the end I prefer to go somewhere where I can eat just as well, but without significant resistance.

However, the service can still be improved, as you actually always have to make sure that someone comes to you and, for example, clears away the dirty plates after a long time. But the excellent sushi makes it easy to overlook that.

We have been to the restaurant several times now and have always received nice and friendly service. The food was always delicious and fresh. The sushi was always beautifully and attractively prepared. The main meals are well cooked and delicious. The waitresses are always nice and accommodating. Pay attention if you need anything and also look after the youngest ones. I always look forward to staying in the beautifully decorated ambience and enjoying the delicious food. The prices are also absolutely reasonable for the quality delivered. The Fairy Tail soda is a real eye-catcher and tastes really great. You should have tried it. The homemade lemonade and iced teas are delicious and refreshing. All in all, a clear recommendation. If you want to eat here, it would be advisable to reserve a table in advance. Update from 10/15/24: We've been there several times in the meantime and it's good every time. The portions of the main meals are really huge and great for the price. Everything just fits.

Die sehr freundliche Bedienung brachte uns zu unserem Tisch, nahm die Bestellung auf, und trotz vollem Lokal bekamen wir unser Essen nach gut 15 Minuten. Und es war extrem lecker, sowohl das vegetarische Tofu Gericht meiner Frau, als auch mein Curry mit Rindfleisch (butterzart). Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, das Preis /Leistungs Verhältnis absolut akzeptabel. Fazit : Wir werden wieder kommen.

Great, fresh, varied food! Always top quality and friendly, prompt service. Only... it's not comfortable and, above all, it's super loud, so the acoustics in the room with lots of people (and it's always full, so you should make a reservation, especially in the evening!) is very bad, and it's not really good to have a quiet conversation and that's a bit of a shame when you go out for such an expensive and delicious meal together.

The restaurant was quite good. There were many different dishes to choose from and it was easy to fill up. The miso soup was particularly good. The only thing I personally didn't like 100% was the balance between meat and vegetables, because some dishes had a lot of vegetables with little meat. But it's also a matter of taste. Otherwise a good shop with a great atmosphere, which is really stylish on the inside.

Very comfortable restaurant and delicious food

The presentation of the dishes was generally very successful. Your mouth waters when plates are carried past you. Unfortunately I was unlucky with my dish, vegetables and salad were well seasoned. The grilled beef came on top as a steak. I wasn't aware that I was getting a steak and I wasn't asked what degree of doneness I wanted. The meat looked good from the outside, but when cut it was wobbly and gray inside, as if it had once been fried until pink, frozen and then thawed and warmed up. The dish came to the table too quickly for a freshly grilled piece of meat. The meat, the most expensive part of my meal, was unfortunately inedible. My freshly squeezed passion fruit juice turned out to be a syrup with water and a few passion fruit seeds. Way too sweet for my taste and too expensive for syrup with water. The service was good and the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and cozy. Note to myself: I paid by card and can therefore provide proof of my visit
