What? Only four stars…?!? When the five-star reviews are soaring…? Okay, OK – the food is indeed top-notch. The ambiance could be really nice if there were perhaps one or two fewer tables in the restaurant… The service is absolutely prompt, but at the expense of a certain warmth and possible problem-solving. Example – the maguro sashimi was half frozen. Solution? “I’ll ask, but that can’t be right…” I asked the manager – “No, it’s fresh and our fridge is probably a bit too cold…” So I waited 15 minutes, and then it was delicious. Unfortunately, my table was avoided from then on… No matter – a solid four, which certainly had the potential to be a solid five…

We sat outside in glorious weather. A DJ played light house music from the neighboring "barn." We were already thrilled with the food before the main course: the freshly made passion fruit juice and the appetizers filled us with anticipation for our main courses. Unfortunately, I have to deduct one star for the food, as the duck was too fatty for me. I've had much better. The red curry and vegetables were really good, though. So it's more like 4.5 stars than 4. But unfortunately, not 5 stars for me. But that's complaining at a high level. The service was unfortunately significantly worse, and when we wanted to order drinks after dinner, it was obviously not wanted. We had the feeling they were desperate to give the table to new guests, and since it was very busy, it wasn't particularly friendly. But hey, everyone has a bad day sometimes, and it wasn't unfriendly or unpleasant. Hence, only 3 stars for the service. But all in all, we thought it was good and can recommend it. I will upload photos of the main courses.

Unfortunately, Tokymon isn't a true addition to the restaurant scene. The food unfortunately resembles frozen food à la Go Asia. While they try to present the dishes attractively, that's all they do.

Delicious food, that's all. The waiters were completely overwhelmed with a full house and simply left us sitting with empty glasses. Empty plates weren't even cleared away. Plus, a 20-minute wait before we could pay... That was our first visit, we'll see if there's a second one...

In short: Fantastic! I've rarely eaten such good duck!

The duck was a 12/10, and the tagliatelle with vegetables and the duck was the best Vietnamese dish I've ever eaten. Amazing. Sushi also a 12/10, perfectly fluffy, perfectly seasoned rice, and all the ingredients were of excellent quality. The appetizer platter is also highly recommended; it was very good, 10/10. Another main course with shrimp also a 12/10. The pho soup also a 12/10. In conclusion, I can say that I've never had such good Vietnamese food, and I've eaten a lot of specifically Vietnamese food, even cooking a lot myself. We'll be back 🤝🫶🏻

I would like to share my experience at this restaurant. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my visit. The food had an artificial taste and left an unpleasant aftertaste reminiscent of perfume. Furthermore, the service was unacceptable. The waitress was rude and slammed the plates down on the table, forcing us to place the plates ourselves. Overall, it was an unsatisfactory visit that I cannot recommend.

We had crunchy rolls, tempura rolls, and red curry pho with duck. Everything was beautifully presented, made with fresh ingredients, and well-seasoned and authentic. The duck, which is often overcooked and dry in other Asian restaurants, was perfect. We had chosen sushi rolls without sesame due to an intolerance. Unfortunately, they added a generous amount of sesame, so the food had to be prepared a second time. The whole thing was handled expertly and quickly, and since we didn't mention the intolerance beforehand, it can't be blamed on the service or the kitchen. Beautiful ambiance in the old town. Highly recommended; we'll be back when we're in the area.

I'd like to give this place 5 stars again. It has a lovely ambiance, with the option of outdoor seating. Very friendly service. The food was delicious. The extensive menu is accompanied by a few pictures... making it easier to choose 🤣 Everything our group ordered was very good. Parking... a bit difficult in the immediate vicinity. But you can always find a spot on Parkstrasse. Enjoy!

First of all, I'd like to say that the interior is truly a dream. A lot of effort has gone into it. And as far as Asian food goes, I'd say it's easily the best in the area, just the decor and the way the food is presented. The waiters are all very friendly and leave you with a welcoming, familial feeling.

I've been to many sushi restaurants, but this one really stands out! The quality of the fish is outstanding – super fresh and delicious. The selection is also impressive: from classic nigiri to creative specialty rolls, they have everything. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and quick. The ambiance is modern yet cozy – you immediately feel at home. The value for money is also absolutely perfect. I'll definitely be back – for me, it's the best sushi place in the area!

Delicious food with friendly service

We were very impressed with the food and the selection there. We had reserved a table for Saturday evening, which turned out to be a good idea. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service is excellent. However, the prices aren't exactly cheap.

THE PHO BO BROTH WAS EVEN BETTER THIS TIME ~ IF THAT COULD BE POSSIBLE. IT WAS SO DELICIOUS, THAT I WAS READY TO ORDER ANOTHER BOWL OF PHO BO, UNTIL THE TENDER SLICES OF FILET MIGNON AND AL DENTE NOODLES FINALLY KICKED IN. AND THEN I WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED LIKE A BEAR EATING SALMON. IT WAS THE 1ST TIME EVER THAT I LAPPED-UP THE ENTIRE BROTH, AND THERE WAS NO NEED FOR A DISHWASHER. The service was friendly and the sushi was fresh and tasty. The Pho was made with tough beef. There were still Christmas decorations hanging on the outside. We sat at a very dirty window with a "Happy Birthday" sign hanging on it. The tables were very close together, so in order to sit down you had to push the chairs of the other table towards them. If both tables had been used it would have been very uncomfortable for the guests. Our visit was shortly after the Easter holidays.

I've been looking for a decent Asian restaurant for a long time. There's no such thing as Chinese where everything is baked in the same fat. I was thrilled from the appetizer to the dessert. Everything beautifully prepared and fresh, crunchy vegetables. It was quick and the sushi was great too. Always my pleasure.

Food is very tasty and good value for money. The waiter was there quickly to take the order and bring drinks. Unfortunately it took some time until the food was on the table. Everything looks very attractive and tastes very tasty. The interior is well-kept and has a nice design, a good place for meeting friends and acquaintances.

Hi, Yesterday I had dinner here with someone. The ambience and the decoration are really successful. We were taken straight to a table that was worn out again. Drink orders were also taken directly. The starters came quite quickly and were really tasty. The main course was also very tasty, but the chicken was a bit too dry. The vegetables, sauce and salad were very good. The staff was very friendly and personable. We would be happy to come back.

The food came out quickly, tasted good, and the portion size was reasonable. However, when paying, the female employee said that only cash was accepted, even though she brought a credit card counter. Lovers of Vietnamese cuisine, yesterday we enjoyed the very best in all of Germany! Hoang Phuoc, Tran and his beautiful colleague, blessed us with a window table in their elegantly comfortable dining room. Starting our lunch adventure with crispy gyozas and spring rolls, we had to order some more, because their crunch and homemade flavors were out of this world. Christine's delicately battered shrimp tempura was accompanied by a sumptuous salad, featuring an ethereal dressing that was an epicurean delight. My Pho Bo was the very, very best that I have enjoyed since the 1970's, when our Vietnamese brothers and sisters joined us in San Francisco. The soup's broth was rich and delectable, the consommé cradle for extremely tender beef and al dente noodles. Even though Christine and I reside in 45 minutes away Frankfurt, we look forward to enjoying Hoang Phuoc's culinary delights for many years to come. We highly recommend Tokymon that lives up to their slogan: "Where the art of sushi meets the heart of Vietnamese cuisine ~ a symphony of flavors waiting to be discovered.“

We reserved 1 week in advance. When we arrived the atmosphere looked very nice and cozy but it was extremely crowded. We waited a long time for staff only to be told that unfortunately there was no space. I pointed out that we had reserved but they ignored it and turned directly to new guests. Very unfortunate!

This was our second time eating here and it was delicious again! It's a shame we don't live nearby because then we would go to Tokymon regularly! There is a large selection of vegetarian dishes with lots of crunchy vegetables. The summer rolls with avocado and the edamame were also delicious! The service is friendly.

We had a very good meal here. We shared the tapas platter with 4 people (2 adults and a child) and was sufficient as a starter. The main courses were also very good and a decent sized portion. Also very nice to look at.

Good restaurant. Enjoy your meal. No question. Unfortunately, going there spontaneously is almost impossible as it's always packed. Getting a place there on Saturdays is out of the question! (I've already tried it twice without success) ... unless reserved three to four days in advance. Then it could work. I'm happy for the operators when the restaurant is doing well. But if you have to beg for a table, I don't think that's great as a guest. And then in the end I prefer to go somewhere where I can eat just as well, but without significant resistance.

However, the service can still be improved, as you actually always have to make sure that someone comes to you and, for example, clears away the dirty plates after a long time. The sushi was always beautifully and attractively prepared. The main meals are well cooked and delicious. The waitresses are always nice and accommodating. Pay attention if you need anything and also look after the youngest ones. I always look forward to staying in the beautifully decorated ambience and enjoying the delicious food. The prices are also absolutely reasonable for the quality delivered. The Fairy Tail soda is a real eye-catcher and tastes really great. You should have tried it. The homemade lemonade and iced teas are delicious and refreshing. All in all, a clear recommendation. If you want to eat here, it would be advisable to reserve a table in advance. Update from 10/15/24: We've been there several times in the meantime and it's good every time. The portions of the main meals are really huge and great for the price. Everything just fits.

Und es war extrem lecker, sowohl das vegetarische Tofu Gericht meiner Frau, als auch mein Curry mit Rindfleisch (butterzart). Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, das Preis /Leistungs Verhältnis absolut akzeptabel. Fazit : Wir werden wieder kommen.
