Tobagi in Leipzig

I were there at 7 p.m today and I wanted to oder to take a way but you or your chef who cooked in the kitchen said that : doesn't want any oder more because she has many things to do , and I should come back tomorrow!!!! Why ??? If you don't like no more customers come , you should write sth outside or sth in google to everyone to know ! Because I drove 5km to you to heard that

Fantastic! I had the Dakgalbi and it was absolutely delicious. The staff ist very friendly and the open kitchen is an unusual experience as well. Food as well as drinks were served quickly.

I visited this restaurant while on a business trip and it was a great restaurant with great food, service, and friendliness^^

Because we visited during opening hours, we were able to eat comfortably in a quiet atmosphere. The female staff member who took our orders was very, very, very friendly, and the tofu bibimbap and seasoned dakgalbi we ate were also very delicious. Since it's close to my house, I think I'll visit often.

Located a little away from the restaurant mile and rather inconspicuous. But the food was simply first class with the best price-performance ratio, we will happily come back. 😊

We looked for the old Tobagi from the 2000s and unfortunately couldn't find it. The new owners are also super nice; If there's such a thing as Korean home cooking, you'll probably find it here.

We were seated for two on a Sunday evening without a reservation. The first floor has an open kitchen, so it may be a little hot, but I liked the cleanliness and lively atmosphere. The basement seemed to be cooler than the first floor. The owner and staff were all friendly and the food was delicious. It was a meal where I could feel the warmth of Korea in Germany for the first time in a long time. If I come to Leipzig again, I will definitely visit again 🙂

A native who came back after a year~ The owner is always friendly~ The service was excellent and I had a delicious meal. I have respect for you both after seeing them work so hard. I hope you are always healthy and prosperous ~ We offer soy sauce dakgalbi. I ate soft tofu stew ^^ The seasoned cucumber and seasoned perilla leaves that were provided as a service were also very delicious. Be sure to try them.

An absolutely fantastic experience! We ate very well here - everything was fresh and of excellent quality. The team was extremely warm and made us feel welcome. The price-performance ratio was perfect and we really enjoyed the authentic cuisine. We'll definitely be back!

I had dinner on the last day of my business trip. It's really delicious. The owner and staff are very friendly and great. When I come to Leipzig, I vomit when I go to sushi, Vietnamese, or other Korean restaurants. Just come here :)

I was hungry for Korean food after a business trip, so I looked around and found the best reviews so I went there. I was a little worried because there were few Korean reviews, but it was really delicious. The owners are friendly and Korean, so communication is easy and I feel at ease. I recommend it if you are visiting nearby and miss Korean food. (It looks like you need to make a reservation in advance. I was lucky enough to be able to eat right away because there was still a table available without a reservation. If you are planning to visit, you will be able to visit more easily if you make a reservation!) May you prosper!

Smaller shop. Make a reservation and sit upstairs. It's a bit warm and uncozy downstairs. The service is great and the food came super quickly. Bibimbab Deluxe and Mandus very sexy. Dessert was a dream. Come back 🫰🏻🤎

Super nice and attentive service. If you sit upstairs, your clothes may smell a lot like food, so it's better to sit down. Otherwise the food is super tasty at a reasonable price.

The waiters are super friendly and pleasant. The normal food. The place is small and old, even the humble cutlery and crockery. If you are people who talk loudly, don't go because they will tell you to lower the volume all the time. I would not go back.

On a rainy day we called ahead and wanted to reserve a table. The staff said there was a table available for us after 7pm, but when we arrived we were irresponsibly told there was no table available for us. Will you come next time? next time??? never because I feel cheated.

Ein authentisches koreanisches Restaurant. Nette Bedienung. Mein Eintopf mit Kimchi war sehr lecker, Ei und Tofu perfekt. Bibimbap war auch sehr lecker, gut gewürzt.

Es handelt sich um ein kleines feines koreanisches Restaurant, welches uns in einem netten Gespräch in einem griechischen Restaurant empfohlen wurde. Mir wurde ganz klar empfohlen, hier Bulgogi zu essen. Das tat ich auch. Ich habe die Nummer 8 bestellt und war sehr zufrieden. Meine Freundin hat sich für Bibimbap entschieden (Nummer 2) und war ebenfalls sehr zufrieden. Lediglich das zusätzlich bestellte Kimchi und das koreanische Bier waren uns zu lasch. Für das Bier können die Betreiber selbstverständlich nichts, das Kimchi darf aber gern saurer und schärfer sein. 😉 Jeder einzelne der drei von uns wahrgenommenen Mitarbeiter war sehr sympathisch, menschlich und höflich. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen. 😊👍 Liebe Grüße

There used to be two Korean restaurants in Leipzig and I always used to prefer the other one (Meetfreude) which unfortunately closed down. However in the past year, the management of Tobagi seems to have changed and I can say definitely for the positive. For sure it's not the typical Korean restaurant café experience where you get all your sides as a bonus (i.e. included in the price of your meal), however the meals they serve here are really authentic and absolutely yummy. It's like getting a home cooked meal. The owners are also such lovely people, too. It's always a really great experience to come here and we do so with pleasure pretty often. A serious must try for any of you living in Germany and missing real Korean home cooked food!

Super netter und schneller Service, Atmosphäre auch familiär, mit ausreichend großen Tischen. Kann mich also den bemängelnden Kommentaren zur Atmosphäre nicht anschließen. :) Essen (Bibimbap, Chicken bites Nebenspeise, Jeyuk Bokkeum mit Kimchi) schmeckt nach Heimkost und macht einen authentischen Eindruck, wir waren super zufrieden.

Ich habe verschiedene Gerichte ausprobiert, alles war sehr lecker und das Personal ist auch sehr nett! Wenn man in Leipzig koreanisch essen möchte, dann sollte man zu Tobagi gehen. 👍🏼

its a bit pricey tho.... portions were too small …. I asked for spicy food but got something totally bland.. Nothing special here. Even if it is under new management is not fair to accuse me of lying and the fact is it the same google maps listing, you decided to benefit all the good reviews but with this one you have a problem. (It is your place just check the table background wall color me and a friend were the only ones served at that time, i willing to give it a second try but that is definitely at tobagi, Although this is an old review i heard the management has changed so I am willing to give it another try and update my review )

Ich schreibe nicht so oft Rezensionen aber dieses Restaurant hats mir echt angetan. Selten einen so freundlichen Service erlebt und gleichzeitig so wunderbar leckeres Essen. Ich habe eine empfindlichen Magen und vor allem nach Restaurantbesuchen oft Bauchweh. Nach Tobagi-Besuchen gibt es keinerlei Spur davon, das Essen ist so lecker, ausgewogen und hochwertig zubereitet. Zudem kommt die lockere Atmosphäre und die freundliche Art, vermutlich mein Lieblingsrestaurant in Leipzig und ein perfekter Ort für gute koreanische Küche.

Interessante kleines koreanischrs Restaurant im Familienbetrieb. Super Service und super Essen 👍

the atmosphere of this place is mediocre, the air was quite uncomfortably humid when we came down the stairs to the basement part. however, the food made up for it: it was one of the best Korean I ever had outside Korea! I would definitely recommend this place. the staff is really friendly and helpful.

Malá autentická restaurace, kterou nám ukázali kamarádi z Lipska, leží mimo centrum města, jen pár metrů od "Karli". Restaurace má jen pár stolečků, proto doporučuji udělat si rezervaci. Obsluha byla usměvavá a velmi milá. Jídlo bylo fantastické. Možnost platby kartou. Určitě stojí za návštěvu. Já se těším na příští večeři zde😋😋😋😋😋

Das kleine Restaurant besticht vor Allem durch sein unglaublich freundliches Personal und das wirklich gut schmeckende Essen. Hatte Sobulgogi und Mandu, beides war wirklich schmackhaft. Komme gerne wieder.

Meine Freundin und ich lieben Tobagi. Das Restaurant ist zwar klein aber grade deshalb ist es jedes Mal etwas besonderes, wenn wir dort essen können. Insbesonder die untere Etage des Restaurants ist zuckersüß eingerichtet. Gemütliches Licht und ruhige koreanische Musik sorgen für den Wohlfühlfaktor. Die Toiletten sind zudem sehr sauber. Bezüglich des Essen kann ich wirklich nur sagen, dass ausnahmslos jede Speise auf der Karte - ja, ich habe mittlerweile alles einmal gegessen - unfassbar lecker schmeckt. Ich könnte gar nicht genau sagen, was ich am liebsten bestelle. Bemerkenswert ist vor allem, dass das Tobagi Team anscheinend nur aus zwei Personen die sich gleichzeitig ums Kochen und den Service kümmern. Sowohl dem Essen als auch dem Service mangelt es dabei an nichts. Die zwei sind super liebenswert und wissen was sie tun. Für alle die in Leipzig sind und Koreanisch essen wollen ist das der Place to go (reserviert aber am besten). Tobagi - wir lieben euch.

Wir sind sehr begeistert und kommen wieder hierher. Es ist ein kleines Restaurant, wir hatten Spinatsalat und gebackene Hühnchen als Vorspeise und die Hauptspeisen jeweils Suppe und Reis mit Kimchi ... alles frisch zubereitet und schmackhaft. Super!👍👍👍

Wir waren schon öfters im Tobagi und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Das Essen wird immer frisch nach der Bestellung zubereitet.
