Food was very tasty, the staff was nice, but unfortunately overwhelmed, the waiting time for the food was too long (about 45 minutes on Sunday lunchtime)

First-class dining experience in Göttingen. Very generously laid out. Friendly service and very good food. The food and drink menu is extensive, so you definitely have to go there more often to try everything ;-)

We were more than satisfied, from the super nice and courteous waiters, to the delicious food and the great service at Cassandra Steen's Unplugged concert. You're really great, keep it up, we'll be happy to come back.

Unfortunately, the food has deteriorated in recent years. Ambiance is great, even if the huge TV can sometimes be annoying. It should show a very bright picture. Unfortunately the prices are too high.

Had a blast when I went for dinner. Took their rib eye steak and death by bacon burger along with fried and grilled prawn. The steak was fantastic and the best thing was the burger. The combination of the burger was really good. Best steak place for sure in Goettingen but surprisingly great burger place too. Everyone was really friendly and Ali who served us was really friendly, top notch guy.

Worlds better than Kassel. Gladly again

Timberjack: friendly staff, great rustic atmosphere, good American, Latin American cuisine. Anyone who loves burgers must have been there at least once. Vegetarians will also quickly find what they are looking for. And last but not least, a huge selection of cakes, waffles, ice cream and desserts. I already know what I have to try next time. And when are you coming?

Restaurant: Timberjacks Restaurant: Today I went to Timberjacks for the first time and the first thing we noticed was the look of the restaurant and the nice waiter. The waiting time was 20 minutes. The friendliness of the staff is very good. The menu is clear and you can quickly find what you want to eat. the atmosphere in the restaurant is pretty good and the comfort too. It's a very inexpensive restaurant. It's good that the restaurant staff asks at regular intervals whether we're doing well. Eat: First we noticed the presentation of the food, but also the taste was convincing. It's convincing, but the French Fries still need to be improved because they aren't crispy. Consistency between the burger brings America to us. The burger was equally juicy and delicious with the burger bread and toasted. Inattentive and slow service. None of the steaks we ordered came with the right degree of doneness. Not a single order was executed without errors. The quality of the dishes and cocktails is below average. A lot of work is done with convenience food. Empty glasses and plates were only cleared away upon request. Price and performance are not in a good relationship.

This meat! Sensational! To the point medium-well, side orders served in hot pans, giant screens behind the bar... it felt like a trip to the Midwest of the USA - and that's how it tasted. Yummy!

Entered Timberjacks Göttingen at 10pm to have a drink and dessert. Unfortunately we were turned away on the grounds that the restaurant was about to close and no longer taking orders. So far we have always enjoyed visiting Timberjacks and have always been satisfied with the food and service. Too bad...

We visited the restaurant on Dead Sunday with 35 people. I ordered my steak medium rear with the request for more rear than medium when it came it was cooked a little more than medium, you could say it's not that bad hmm but not when the plate costs €50 (steak and side dishes) the waiter said confirm that my steak is not cooked the way I ordered it! He said he would order me a new one. So, everyone had eaten by now, after 40 minutes I asked where my steak was and was told that I wouldn't get anything new. ABSOLUTE RUDE AND UNACCEPTABLE! With 35 people, we spent a good amount of money in this restaurant this lunchtime and I'm very disappointed that they weren't able to fry me a new steak! Even the waitress was very uncomfortable! Sorry but that doesn't work at all! I can't recommend this restaurant, lots of Tam Tam but terrible service!

I wanted to have a great meal! But apparently I paid for the great ambience and it wasn't really cheap either. It's a shame never again

Yesterday it was a real "Black Friday" for Timberjack's in Göttingen... 6 people, 3 out of 5 degrees of doneness completely missed, food came in stages with sometimes a minute difference, shrimps were fried for too long, sauces and types of butter were mixed up, forgotten or completely wrong delivered, burn ends were swimming in a greasy sauce that we initially thought was a soup, ordered 4 desserts, 3 came back with a long delay, one didn't come at all. When asked, they only said that if they ordered dessert they would get it. Complaints were sometimes ignored, steaks were fried and then almost impossible to eat. It was offered to discuss the messed up dishes with the boss, but he wasn't "found"... So everything was paid for, except for the missing dessert. This then showed the common thread of this evening, that the service staff were COMPLETELY overwhelmed. It wasn't our first time in Göttingen, but we're considering whether another visit and 100km drive is worth it again. Actually, we know it completely differently. VERY Pity!!!

What a great place! The North American interior is fascinating as soon as you enter. We only had a small lunch snack which was extremely delicious. The service was very attentive and well-rehearsed, so we were served super quickly considering the size. The menu really invites you to feast and the interior design invites you to linger.

Despite a reservation, we waited 45 minutes and had very poor service.

Excellent service and genuine hospitality! Four of us had reserved a table and were looking forward to turkey. Unfortunately it fell down in the kitchen - at first we thought the evening was over. But the Timberjack team surprised us: They prepared us a replacement meal that was not only incredibly tasty, but also prepared with a lot of love and dedication. We were really impressed by the warm manner and professional handling of the situation. Thank you very much for this great evening – we would love to come back!

We were there for the Thanksgiving special. Unfortunately we had a very small table and the waitress had to come back several times after 5 drinks to ask if it was correct. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. However, we didn't get any plates and so everyone had to choose a side pan that they had to use as a plate. When asked, they said it was normal. We only had 2 cutlery for 5 people and the lady wanted to bring some but after waiting 10 minutes I had to get some myself. We then ordered 3 more drinks and they repeated and asked incorrectly 3 times. Maybe the lady was new and we took it with humor. Unfortunately, the issue with the cutlery and plates was very annoying right up to the end and since I had also invited people, I was somewhat embarrassed by it.

The service was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately I can't think much of the food. The steak had a refrigerator taste and was otherwise quite tasteless and partly fibrous. The side dishes were quite greasy.

I've always been an advocate for Timberjacks since shortly after it opened, but things have gotten a little thin lately. Prices are constantly being increased or, especially for drinks, only small units are offered. The homemade iced teas are just bottles of Monin syrup thrown together with water for prices that are really cheeky. On the penultimate visit they no longer asked about the choice of sauces but simply brought them. On our last visit we sat at a table with a family and two other people. The family arrived first and ordered first. We came second and order second too. The two other people came to our table last. Those who came last got their food first. Then much later the family and right at the end, when the two people had already finished eating, our food arrived. That just doesn't work at all. Not for this price level. We're going to take a Timberjacks break for now.

Today I'm torn back and forth. The ambience and furnishings are something completely different and really appeal to me. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. But after ordering, it took quite a long time for my drink to arrive. After my food showed up, I was a little disappointed: the additional cheese sauce was a total failure. If you think about it all, it's like McDonald's, only more expensive. You find yourself in a fully scheduled restaurant. But in a beautiful building. I think: 1 time is enough. But thanks to the great service!!!

The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere that makes you feel really comfortable. It was just a shame that the food was a bit lukewarm. Our waiter Melik was great – super friendly and attentive! Overall, a great evening that I would happily recommend. We will definitely come again!

The service was very nice and the food also tasted very good. The ambience is also nice. However, we had to wait over an hour for our food. A tea (a cup of hot water with a tea bag next to it) would take half an hour. In my opinion, it's a little quicker given the price.

Yesterday the four of us went to Timberjacks! And it's outstanding! The atmosphere at Timberjacks is so warm and cozy and there is something to see everywhere. The waitresses are all so friendly and accommodating that you won't find this in every restaurant! The steaks are of great quality, and the side dishes were also so tasty that you would like to have a little more! Our dessert was an ice cream bomb, which the four of us shared and that was a good thing because after the rich meal we wouldn't have been able to manage the portion alone. And the ice cream bomb was really tasty, with some cheesecake in it, great idea! Thanks to the Timberjacks team, keep it up, you're great!

Unfortunately we didn't have such a nice stay... first we made a reservation and were seated at a huge table with other people, which is absolutely not nice when you have a date... Food was okay so far but I had some plastic in my mashed potatoes, of course I did I told the waiter. I know that if something is with the food, you get a new portion. They just took out the plastic and put the same porridge back in front of me. Now without plastic but cold Very bad experience and we won't come back!

The ambience was nice from the outside, decorated with fairy lights, and there was a nice outdoor patio, even with a little rodeo corner. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was served quickly, the burgers were really good – we had beef and pulled pork, both highly recommended. The fries with cheese sauce and garlic were also delicious, and the fried avocado was simply delicious. The menu is large, everyone will find something here. We would definitely eat here again.

Have been customers of the restaurant for years. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has decreased dramatically since this year. Had 2 burgers, burritos and fries yesterday. The burgers looked unappetizing, the bun was dripping with grease and the meat was dry. The burritos were okay, but nothing special. This was also the result of the meal on the 2 previous visits. The service was okay, but not the fastest either. It really depends on who is serving you. It's a shame, it was probably the last visit.

The food is good and the service is friendly. However, the ice cream tastes really artificial and is really not recommended, hence 1 star deduction.

Our second visit to Timberjacks in Göttingen topped off our visit to Hamburg. Like the first time in August, this time everything, really everything, was bombastic. From the service to the ambience to the food, everything was really great. I can't say anything more about it. But look at the pictures. Everything is fresh, the meat is cooked to perfection. Everything really tasty.

What can I say? ....Highly recommended

The hamburger was great 9/10 But the side with the burger isn't that much of an offering (a small salad plate) would be great, a little fries could be added just to fill the view from above Important note: Do not go without booking in advance, you will not have the best experience, better to reserve your own table and then go. The prices are a little high but the quality you get is worth it.

We sat directly in front of the huge LED wall and that wasn't so pleasant for us and the children.

Great ambience, great service, accommodating. Waited less than 10 minutes for food, drinks immediately. Also super warm, plates were even preheated. We had 2 burgers and a buritto. All three super tasty. The fries allowance was also good. Can only be recommended! For the E drivers, there are 8x 250kW superchargers next door, you can combine them well.

Respect! I discovered this restaurant by chance. When I left the highway, I immediately noticed the impressive wooden log cabin. I never expected it to be a restaurant/steakhouse. My first evening there was even more overwhelming. The location is awesome, what a concept! The interior of the shop, the huge display above the bar. Awesome! The food was perfect, very good, tender meat, the cooking level was spot on. Sauces, dips, side dishes, deserts, shakes, burgers...Everything tasted delicious. There is nothing that could be done better. The service was also very nice and attentive. I can highly recommend this restaurant. You should definitely reserve in advance. Thank you for the lovely evenings.

We love Timberjacks. It's worth paying a visit here. There was live music on Thursday, which was great and fit the restaurant! There is really a lot of choice of food and the portions are huge. I always have a shake for dessert ✨ the service is fast and the staff is friendly.

Top ambience. Hamburger good, barbecue combo good. The quality and degree of doneness of the beef steaks ordered so far can be improved.

The atmosphere is great! The place is very well decorated and you feel a little like in a restaurant in the United States. The food is good, although it seems a bit expensive to me, €18-€20 for a burger that doesn't even come with fries, you have to order them separately. The service is very friendly but unfortunately they take a long time to serve you. Then we ordered the hamburgers with extra bacon and the waiter did not inform us that they do not have pork (that in America would not be imaginable) and when the hamburgers arrived we saw that there was a strange sauce on the side. When we asked the waiter he told us that that was the bacon, it's jam bacon, because they don't have pork and that they put it next to the hamburger because they believed that it didn't fit well on top of the hamburger that we had ordered. Fabric!!! Well… that should be said before! Evidently we were charged for that sauce, even though we didn't eat it. Will we go again? Maybe, but we already know that they don't have pork.

EVERYTHING extremely special! It's great that there is such an eye-catcher, certainly very expensive in terms of maintenance and fixed costs. Loud, TV wall too bright and overdriven. Food good but not high quality. It's just a meat palace for young people. Less for older connoisseurs.

By far the best burger restaurant I know, great service, perfect atmosphere, always worth a visit when I'm passing through.

We were there again today, but with children. Unfortunately, some things were no longer available, e.g. Kiba or crayons for the coloring sheet that was given out. It was very crowded and the kids' food was served last. I've never had anything to complain about without children, but today wasn't child-friendly.

Bereits viele Male habe ich Timberjacks in Göttingen besucht sowohl mit Geschäftsfreunden als auch mit der Familie wie auch heute Abend. Bisher waren wir immer zufrieden. Die Betonung liegt auf bisher! Denn der letzte Besuch war ein 100%-iger Reinfall. Im Folgenden dazu meine Anmerkungen: 1) Es gibt zwar reichlich Parkplätze, aber für Behinderte jedoch nur 1!! einzigen, dafür daneben 5 Plätze für Motorräder 2) Obwohl die Sitzplätze nur zu ca. 50% ausgelastet waren, mußten wir über 10 Minuten warten, bis uns der Platz zugewiesen wurde 3) Es dauerte weitere 15 Minuten bis wir die Getränke bestellen konnten. 4) Nach ca. weiteren 15 Minuten erhielten wir endlich die Getränke. Von den 5 bestellten Getränken entsprachen jedoch 3 nicht unserer Bestellung. Somit mußten wie wieder 10 Minuten warten, bevor wir gemeinsam anstoßen konnten 5) Nach ca. 40 Minuten nachdem wir unsere Plätze zugewiesen kommen hatten, konnten wir endlich die Bestellungen für die Gerichte aufgeben und 30 Minuten später erhielten wir endlich unser Essen. 6) Die Burger, der Salat und das Filet Mignon waren annehmbar - jedoch der Auflauf mit Pilzen und Brokkoli überbacken mit Käse war lauwarm und die Champignon waren sogar kalt. Das ist ein No go!! Man erklärte sich bereit, das Gericht nochmal vorzubereiten. 7) Nachdem die anderen Familienmitglieder ihre Mahlzeit bereits fast aufgesessen hatten, und der neue Auflauf aber immer noch nicht serviert war, bestellte meine Frau den Auflauf wieder ab. Sie hatte genug!! Und wir alle auch. Folgender Sachverhalt ist uns und auch noch aufgefallen: In der Küche herrschte offensichtlich ein Durcheinander und der Chefkoch (so wurde uns mitgeteilt) brüllte so laut, dass wir am anderen Ende des Restaurants dies immer mitbekamen. Am Nachbartisch wunderte man sich auch über diesen lauten Tonfall. Dabei fiel folgende Bemerkung: "Wenn der Chef nicht im Haus ist, dann tanzen die Mäuse auf dem Tisch". Abschließend folgende Bewertung: Das Essen war akzeptabel (aber schon mal besser!!), die Bedienung war bemüht, die interne Koordination zwischen Küche, Getränkebar und Bedienung ist noch sehr ausbaufähig. Insgesamt waren wir alle sehr enttäuscht. Ich werde in nächster Zeit Timberjacks nicht mehr aufsuchen. Schade!

Great ambience but the quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired.

The atmosphere is super authentic and cozy. The service was friendly and accommodating. I ordered the Red Hot Chili Pepper. The patty on the burger was pretty good. The burger was very seasoned. To top it all off, I ordered the Coconut Honey Waffle and was thrilled.

The ambience is impressive and an experience. However, the food and service are nothing special at all. Have been there several times. You always wait in vain for service. You can't order more than one drink per hour. The food is average and takes a long time. In my opinion the prices are absolutely not justified.

It was my first time with you and I'm still totally amazed. Great atmosphere, delicious food and young and friendly staff. We would love to come back. See you soon

Super tasty! In my opinion the map is quite confusing. There is a large selection and everything your heart desires. I think it's a restaurant for special occasions, anniversaries or birthdays.

Delicious food and good choices. It's best to make a reservation weeks in advance if you want to eat there on the weekend. But you can just drive there and ask if something is still available. There is usually still an opportunity to be seated at the table with someone else.

The restaurant and the ambience is really nice. We had to wait a long time for our drinks and food. Then the food came and unfortunately it was cold. We let the food go back. Then our warmed food came back to us. We ate it, but the taste wasn't what we were used to before. That was our last visit there. You get significantly more for the money elsewhere.

Wow... what can you say about that? It was really an experience, from the reception to the table/service and the food, everything was perfect. The live music rounded it all off and made the evening perfect. We were thrilled, the service was friendly and courteous, answered every question and gave tips. In general, you will discover a highlight in every corner, this place has been furnished with love.

Timberjacks is by no means comparable. The service is 1st class. The food is absolutely top notch. There is something for everyone on the generous menu. It's an incredibly great atmosphere. We were 1000% thrilled and can recommend it with a clear conscience. We'll be back as soon as we're back in Göttingen.

Been waiting for my food for 2 hours only to hear that there was a "mixup" in the kitchen and it's still taking time. Second star only because the tipping machine outside saved my ass.

The menu was unreadable in the dark. It was way too loud in the restaurant, so you had to speak loudly. The food didn't taste good and it took a long time to arrive. One meal was completely wrong. The price-performance ratio was not right. Too expensive for the quality of the food offered.

The kitchen wasn't having a good day when we visited. The service was very kind and desperate because every table had to give something back. The ambience is great. The food still needs to be worked on, especially with the prices. On the one hand, we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food, and a missing drink was only available when we asked. Of the 5 dishes we ordered, one was good, the others were just average. Two dishes had to be remade. If the most expensive ingredients are forgotten in the Southwest Salad and the salad only tastes fishy, ​​that's not good at €19. The blooming onion was still raw the first time.

A good concept. Great harmonious atmosphere and well-balanced food. The menu is overwhelming at first and the request for drinks comes so quickly, as if you were a regular. Price-performance is in comparison to upscale restaurants. The meat definitely tastes good. It's worth dining there, it's definitely a change in the program. By the way, it wasn't our first time there and we'll definitely come back at some point. But it's not enough for a regular bar.

The memory card is completely overloaded, over 100 dishes. Then everything is in English, which I can do but would prefer in German. The ambience is very nerve-wracking, lots of noise, a huge TV that you can't miss. I had ordered check wings. Unfortunately I got chicken breast. After I complained about this, my plate was taken away and I received the food I ordered about 15 minutes later. I had the garlic cheese sauce (Carlac Cheese of course) which is simply awesome! Unfortunately the wings were extremely dry and not crispy, it was clearly a finished product. Maybe at 47 I'm too old for the concept.

Cool shop and nice service but very expensive prices. There was a burger with Mac n Cheese. Burger was very good, but a bit small and it was on a very greasy pan, but the Mac n Cheese had nothing to do with real Mac n Cheese. It was just pasta with a little sauce and cheese on it. Since the food is more important to me than the ambience, I wouldn't come again. 3 stars is still generous in my opinion.
