This is a super nice restaurant with an American country atmosphere. The staff does everything they can to make you happy and there is a very wide choice of dishes. The extensive choices in vegetables are particularly striking. Recommended! Also great fun for children. You can even ride a mechanical bull there.

We were here for the first time yesterday. The atmosphere is really pretty cool, you feel a bit like you're in America. We each had a burger and a portion of fries, which we shared. We had to ask for ketchup, I have no idea why there isn't sauce on every table, it would definitely be practical. Unfortunately, when we wanted to order dessert later, it was almost impossible because no one was visible on the terrace, so we decided not to have dessert. We then had to go in to pay. All in all, the visit was still very nice and the food was plentiful and tasty. There was a problem with the service towards the end, but we can overlook that.

After several visits and eating different dishes, I can fully recommend this restaurant. The burgers, taccos and French fries dishes are incredibly delicious. The milkshakes are gigantic. The atmosphere is great, you feel very comfortable. Everything is clean, the service is quick and friendly. A timely reservation is recommended. Parking spaces can be found in the immediate vicinity. The price/performance ratio is right.

We went to Timberjacks late on a Friday afternoon and had two kids with us. The ambience is really extremely lavish and appealing. Unfortunately the service was mixed. That was more of a service by the book than a service that was full of charm and from whom you would be happy to order a second drink or a dessert. What, above all, someone should have registered first. Four different waitresses served us, both male and female. There was a separate card for the children to color in, well-intentioned and designed but with the comment "We don't have any colored pencils, so I brought a ballpoint pen." rather obsolete. A pen for two children, every parent knows where that leads. Unfortunately the food was average. Super complex card, very wide range but the implementation is rather disappointing. The burger patty was too thick, too well done, dry and way too salty. The colesslaw was warm in the bowl because it was placed in the preheated pan for the burger. Mozzarella sticks are more like bags and not enough for the price. Price performance overall rather mixed. A lot of effort went into marketing and ambience. When it comes to what it's actually about, the good service, the taste and the promised sophistication, Timberjacks unfortunately falls behind. For us, more of a nice sports bar than a good American restaurant.

All the soaps and disinfectant dispensers in the toilets were empty by midday. If you want to eat a really great burger menu, you should go to Gigant in Einbeck!!

The ambience is very nice. Unfortunately the food is just mediocre and really very expensive! Something doesn't add up well. For that money you can also dine lavishly at the Hotel Adlon or at Feinkost Käfer. The service allows for a lot of improvement. We were very disappointed when we visited in July. It started at the reception, there was no one there, that's not bad, but since other staff walked past us several times, I somehow expect a reaction when guests stand there as ordered and not picked up.👎 When making the reservation, it was specifically stated in advance that we didn't want to be in front of the big screen, well that didn't work either.👎 The first order was taken quickly and the first drinks came quickly too.👍 We then waited 1:45 hours for the food👎 During the entire waiting time, not a single service person came to the table👎, after the food came at some point, the service was over again.👎 They didn't even look at our table in between.👎 The service didn't care about empty glasses and there was no reason to ask if we would like anything else.👎 In such a high-priced restaurant, I simply expect that as a paying guest I will be given significantly more attention. Others can also fry steaks for less money, the service simply has to be better in a place like this.

The food was cold, the vegetables were very raw, instead of a 300g steak there were two different parts 250g + 50g, with the 50g being tough and dry, which is out of the question for the price.

The atmoshpere makes you feel like you are in America. Food tastes like it's made by not a cook but by the waiters. Food was saturated in garlic sauce, literally pieces of food swimming in tzatziki. Some of the budget they used for hiring an interior designer, they should have saved for a chef.

Very tasty food in a great, wood-dominated ambience. Our service was fantastic and very attentive. There was also something for the children to paint. The food was consistently delicious. The ice cream took a little getting used to, I would rather eat it in the Italian ice cream parlor next time. But burritos, fajitas and tacos are outstanding.

When the restaurant was at normal capacity, we waited almost 60 minutes for our manageable order. Instead of the smash burger I ordered, I got a burger with two normal-thick non-smash patties that were cooked but not fried at all. Further training on the idea of ​​a smash burger would be appropriate here. Admittedly, it then takes me a few minutes to organize cutlery and napkins at the bar on my own. By then, the bottom bun of the burger was completely soaked in fat and there was also liquid fat around the burger on the plate. Conclusion: It was far from 13.90 euros.

You cant complain. Service was on point, food took a while, but drinks were at the table straight away. Food prepared with care and it tasted great. It's worth ordering dessert here too. Even the coffee was tasty. 👍

The first time at Timberjacks in Göttingen. Very good meat, unfortunately grilled two levels too much. Welldone instead of medium. Steak seasoning tasted distinctly of salt. Price/performance not okay. Reception a little too cool; Service friendly.

Vi ankommer til Göttingen sent, og vi gerne have noget mad. Desværre var gasthaus på modsatte side af gaden fra hotellet lukket for mad, så vi blev anbefalet, at gå ned ad vejen. Vi ser dette sted, hvor der med store lysende bogstaver står Welcome, og så går vi ind i et kæmpestort rum med meget højt til loftet. Vi vidste ikke hvad vi skulle forvente, så vi var meget overraskede. Lige indenfor er der et lækkert modningsskab til kød. Tjenerne går forbi den disk, hvor vi står gentagne gange, og ingen siger noget, og først efter ca. 10 minutter, hvor vi direkte henvender os til en tjener får vi betjening og en anvisning af bord. Kæmpe menukort med alt hvad hjertet begærer af kød, vegetar, vegansk og fisk + et kæmpe dessertkort. Det tager tid at finde rundt i menukortet (når man ikke har været på Timberjacks før), men heldigvis kommer drikkevarerne hurtigt, så vi kan udforske videre i kortet. Maden er virkelig lækker og dejligt tilberedt. En burger af god kvalitet og et lækkert stykke flat iron steak (en udskæring vi ikke rigtig bruger i Danmark) Hvorfor der er 4 og ikke 5 stjerner, er pga. ventetiden på tjenere uden, nogen siger noget, og så den konstante rap musik, der var det eneste, der blev spillet. Maden var til 5 stjerner, og det samme er selve stedet, som vi gerne vil besøge en anden gang.

Went here for lunch - I'd never heard of this chain before. What a venue! Visually stunning, excellent food - very reminiscent of some US chains. Service was excellent. I have to add, though: the place was not very full - no idea what things are like when it is humming. Too bad these don't exist in southern Germany.

Went to Timberjacks on a Monday evening and the place was pretty full, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. The menu is huge so it takes some time to decide, but we both ordered a smash double cheese burger. Also ordered fries, Crispy chicken bites and ice tea. Everything but the burger was great. Unfortunately the beef pattys were not smashed, and much of the cheese was not melted (see my picture). We did mention this to the waiter and he agreed, and also apologized. We will probably return as there are many good things on the menu.

Nice place to stay, but the food is subpar. We were here with 4 people and we couldn't enjoy it, and the food we received after the complaint wasn't any better. The drinks are OK and the staff makes an effort.

Familiemiddag med 2 voksne og 3 barn. Fikk bord uten forhåndsbestilling, selv om restauranten var ganske full. Veldig god mat, og barnemenyen var også bra. Fikk tegnesaker til ungene og det var mye spennende å se på rundt i restauranten. Vi gav tips på regningen. Rene og bra toalett, de hadde også gratis bleier til de minste barna på stellerom.

The specialties are certainly steaks (also dry-aged) and burgers, as well as all sorts of side dishes. Recently there have also been a few more Spanish dishes. We've eaten there a few times and we can fully recommend it for burgers and side dishes - we've also experienced negligence when it comes to steak, which you can't tolerate at 50 EUR for a steak (without side dishes). In general, complaints are handled well. The mozzarella sticks are completely irrelevant and the bread with butter (2 miniature breads and what feels like 5 tablespoons of butter) is tasty, but pointless in that proportion. The service is attentive and essentially on point. Card payment (including credit card) is no problem at all. If we're in the mood for good burgers and (sweet potato) fries, we'll definitely come back.

The staff was very friendly when reserving a seat on the phone. Check-in was quick Toilets are fine, the only thing that bothered me and my buddy was the chirping of birds. A bit too expensive in terms of price. The ambience is very great. Food was top except the steak, which was ordered medium well. My buddy had medium and my steak was half medium and half medium well. After the second attempt, both steaks were top. Otherwise there's nothing to complain about :) Praise to the friendly and helpful staff!

The service was quick and professional, and all requests were fulfilled promptly. The menu leaves nothing to be desired. Particularly noteworthy are the juicy steaks and the fantastic burgers, which are offered in different variations. The quality of the meat is excellent and the preparation is on point. The side dishes, such as the crispy fries and the fresh salads, are also highly recommended. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available and are in no way inferior to the meat dishes. Another highlight is the extensive drinks menu, which, in addition to classic soft drinks and beer, also offers a great selection of cocktails and fine wines. The desserts are equally tempting - the homemade cheesecake in particular is a must! The price-performance ratio at Timberjacks is very fair. The portions are generous and the quality of the food definitely justifies the prices.

Atmosphere excellent, food okay I was there during the week. Since I came on foot, I can't say too much about the parking. There are some that are free, but I have no idea whether they are enough. It is advisable to make a reservation. We (there were two of us) had to wait about 15 minutes until we got a table. But that wasn't so bad, you don't have to stand around, you can also sit on a comfortable sofa for as long as you want. Atmosphere, decor etc. are really impressive. I would also give an extra star for that. The staff was friendly, but perhaps a bit overworked. We had to wait a relatively long time to receive our order, drinks and food, but another service person came by several times to ask whether we had ordered this or that. Finally, our waitress “apologized” for the waiting times, and when we asked if it was busier than usual today, we got the answer “actually not.” I would like to emphasize that it was probably not the service, but that there could be structural reasons for the service deficits. We were also a bit unlucky when it came to eating; both my food and that of my companion were only lukewarm. The consistency of the Tackos also did not correspond to what I had imagined. My steak was very good and the selection of different cuts in particular is really rare to find. The ambience is exceptional, even if it is very crowded and relatively loud. A big negative point are the cocktails, they were so bland and unbalanced that you should reconsider this concept.

Went there around 10.40pm on Saturday because we wanted to grab something quick to eat. According to the website, open until midnight and the kitchen until 11:30 p.m. The door was already locked when we came in, as the door was opened by a guest, when we asked we were told that it would be closed immediately. Then you shouldn't write on the website that the kitchen is open until 11.30 p.m.

Their double smash cheese burger is one of the best I've ever had. It is 100% the reason for 5 stars. Unfortunately my sweet potatoes were almost cold and my boyfriend's fajita was good but nothing special. The atmosphere is like an American restaurant and we will definitely come again. Well, well. Iwie, the magic has clearly worn off. Service slowed down. Waited forever for two portions of fries, a portion of mac & cheese and a children's salad (45 minutes). My husband is never full. A pity. Guess we won't come a fourth time.

The burgers were disappointing - the bun was soaked in oil and the plate was literally swimming in it. When we complained, we were succinctly told that this was normal for Smashburgers. It was obvious that the table next door valued the waiter's friends more than our satisfaction. It's a shame because we used to enjoy visiting Timberjacks.

Because of the good reviews I decided to eat here. In my opinion, the restaurant scores particularly well with its authentic furnishings. Although I ordered my steak medium-well, I was served a steak that was rare. After my request, the waiter kindly brought the meat back to the kitchen and fried it again. We were there with a group of 14 people. The ambience and the tasteful furnishings are positive. Unfortunately the service was hopelessly overwhelmed. 2 people at the table received their food after 15 minutes, the rest waited almost an hour. Unfortunately, the majority didn't get exactly what they ordered. The ordering process is not that easy as all the supplements have to be ordered separately. None of the steaks ordered medium were medium. All were well done. Unfortunately, clearing didn't work either. Only when we put dirty dishes on the neighboring table and the waiter no longer had room to serve did we make room. Conclusion: Chic restaurant, but there is still room for improvement in terms of service and food. Too expensive for what is offered.
