Excellent food, friendly service and a charming atmosphere

I recently visited again after a long absence. The ambiance is still great for me – I like the style. The staff is still attentive, quick, and friendly. The breakfast buffet is still varied. However, if you look closely, there are a lot of low-quality sausages and convenience products. A lot of mass-produced items, and even the rolls aren't bakery quality. At that price, there should be some more sophisticated items. Also, during our visit, I had one of the worst coffees of my life – incredibly bitter, weak, and nasty-tasting. All in all, breakfast is okay (I haven't been there for dinner yet), but I prefer the quality of food at any farm restaurant.

I think it's great here and I love the rustic style.

It was delicious and warm, the fries were crispy and perfectly salted. The burgers were also cooked to perfection. The meat patty was still slightly pink. We were very satisfied. The service was excellent and they always had a witty remark ready. We came on a Sunday, it was quite busy, and we hadn't made a reservation, but we still got a table for four without a long wait.

Good food, friendly and attentive service. Rustic log cabin atmosphere with vintage Harley Davidson motorcycles on the walls. The menu includes burgers, steaks, salads, etc. Sometimes they have fantastic barbecue buffets.

This year's family reunion took place on Sunday. We chose the Big Roadhouse Brunch. It was fantastic. A large, varied breakfast including juices, cereal, salmon... and several hot lunches with various delicacies were offered. Dessert was also plentiful. It left little to be desired. And it tasted delicious. We would have liked at least regular coffee—as much as you like—to be offered free of charge. We thought it was fine that all other coffee specialties and cold drinks were charged separately. The price of €22.90 was totally fine for us. The service was super friendly and attentive. Child-friendliness is a top priority, but there was no play area. Or did we just not find it? All in all, we had a wonderful morning. It was lovely with you, and we'll definitely come back sometime together.

Afterward, the staff demanded we charge for the buffet for two people plus the à la carte dish. The result: we paid for three meals (only for two people). Recommended. We had the platter for two people. Everything was delicious. The ribs were almost perfect. The flavor (seasoning) could have been a bit better, and they were a bit dry, but otherwise, they were almost perfectly prepared. Unfortunately, the filet mignon had some gristle in it, so we deducted one star. The crust was fantastic. Very good service. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was quite loud. Good value for money. We'll be back.

I've noticed this restaurant several times on trips to Rees, etc. Today I just popped in, and what can I say? Great welcome, super-friendly service. And then the food arrived. My wife chose ravioli, which was ☆☆☆☆☆, and I had steak and pork fillet wrapped in bacon, which was also ☆☆☆☆☆ (☆) We'll definitely be back.

We ended up in this super stylish restaurant completely by chance. We were on our way home from Amsterdam and weren't in the mood for the typical highway fare. "Hamminkeln, look what they have there." And there we were. We were greeted warmly and given a seat. It was early afternoon, but I could imagine it getting busy quickly in the evening. The waiter was just as friendly and helpful, and we served us. And I think less than 15 minutes later, we were eating. The steak was on point, the sides were delicious, and my child was happy with the bolo and a fancy soda. My wife had pasta with shrimp and meat, if I'm not mistaken, and she was just as happy. I think the prices are absolutely reasonable. Great place, too bad we're 400 km apart. Definitely recommend it. 👌

Last time I was there 5-6 years ago. And it's still as good now. Delicious food, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Since I didn't have a reservation, the only option was the bar or a table outside. We opted for outside. After what felt like 15 minutes, there was still no service - so we walked into the city. All the more annoying since I had just come from Haus Schleppen in Essen and had made the long detour to Thunderbike. I promise - it won't happen again. My conclusion: Not very suitable for bikers.

It's always a pleasure to visit. The ambiance is inviting and worth seeing, the food is delicious, and the staff is extremely friendly. And even if you don't ride a Harley, the custom modifications are absolutely worth seeing and impressive.

Very good place for families or bikers who want to have a good meal with the family on a Sunday. There is plenty of parking. The whole place is very clean. The staff is professional. You should make a reservation on weekends. The brunch was first class. P.S. Thunderbike is also open on Sundays, although there are no sales or advice available. It's worth taking a look at everything there. It's like a technology museum.

You simply can't complain. If anything, it's the prices. But the comparable Texas Ribhouse in Bocholt, for example, is even more expensive. SO: all thumbs up

Good service and great food. There were two of us there and we had the grill buffet. The meat is delicious, and you can eat as much as you can!

I've never eaten such a bad salad for such a price!! When I finally got my treat, the salad was taken to the kitchen and brought back to the table shortly after. The waitress then explained that this is how the salad is made here. That means it's much too cold, so it's kept in the fridge and made in the morning, everything, including the tomatoes and lettuce leaves, is diced. Absolutely awful!!! Then it's mixed with salad dressing and it's done!!! Absolutely not recommended!!!

I ordered a cheeseburger and fries with sour cream dip. Everything was delicious, but I thought there wasn't enough sauce on the burger. Nothing dripped down the burger, and there was no sauce on the plate either. It was a bit dry. I'll have to mention it when ordering next time that I'd like more sauce. Okay, I'll do it... Smile. The staff was very nice, friendly, and accommodating; nothing to complain about. Many other restaurants could learn a thing or two from theirs. I was quite satisfied there.

You can definitely eat something tasty.

I was there with a friend for smoker night. The food was very good, especially considering the price/performance ratio. The service was good. The house beer was also good. The biscuit was more like pulled beef, and the ribs were also good. You have to like the look of the place. It was a bit too loud for me. And what I also didn't like was that the tables were cleared shortly after 9 p.m. We were offered a table inside.

We were at the Roadhouse restaurant around 1:10 p.m. The lunch menu was available until 1:45 p.m., with a choice of three dishes. Our desired meal was sold out, so we were offered currywurst with fries. The plate arrived, but the sausage was cold. And this happened to four people. We complained about the food. The sausage was warm, but the finished fries had most likely been put back in the hairdryer and served. Absolutely greasy. Tasty isn't exactly tasty. The sausage was also very odd, not tasty. I had expected more from the lunch menu.

A superb steak, cooked to perfection, and a really hot double burger! Very fair prices and very friendly service! And all in a perfect atmosphere; it was really, really fun. The long journey was worth it, and not just for the Thunderbike!

We had a delicious meal today. The spare ribs were well-seasoned and tender. The chicken burger was great. The wait was okay - 20 minutes. The restaurant is very noisy. Sometimes you can't hear each other at the table. Nice service

Everything's cool. Dogs are allowed inside, but they're not allowed to drink anything. There's a water bowl outside the door.

Location is always nice to hang out there for something to eat and drink.

We've been to the Roadhouse several times now. The service is very fast, and the food is good and hot. The pulled pork burgers, schnitzel, and sirloin steaks are particularly good. The ambiance fits the theme, relatively old-school but okay. The restaurant is always very busy, and the service does its best, but sometimes falls short. All in all, it's worth a visit.

Great place, but unfortunately I have to deduct a few stars. My spare ribs weren't that great, and when we asked for water for the dog, they just said there was some outside, which would have to be fresh. But they also had truffle fries, which were world-class, and I'd come back just for those.

Okay, you have to like the location. Everything else is top-notch, and not just for a stopover. Everything is clean and tidy, and the service is fast and very friendly. 😎👍

I was there on Friday and received very friendly service. I really enjoyed the food. The crispy chicken burger, in particular, was juicy and delicious. The wedges were also fresh, crispy, and served hot—exactly as you'd expect.

Fantastic restaurant. Something a little different. A wonderfully informal atmosphere frequented by a wide variety of people. Plenty of burgers and steaks to choose from, and vegans are also welcome. Inside, you can sit comfortably, and when the weather's nice, you can enjoy the terrace or rooftop terrace.

I've eaten at the Roadhouse several times with friends. This time, we stopped by for lunch after a motorcycle tour. Unfortunately, they only had a weekly menu with changing dishes. We were there on a Thursday, and the selection and quality/taste were nowhere near what we'd experienced before. It's a real shame.
